He even adjusted the blower timing to make it more efficient and less noisy. The service bill was very fair compared to the other quotes I received. I highly recommend this business!

Joel came out on a Thursday to diagnose my furnace, which I could hear crapping out the morning I called. Determined a new furnace was the best choice rather than put a band-aid on a 40+ year old furnace. A two man crew showed up on Monday morning (get that? just over 1 working day!) with a new heating system (furnace). The guys were done in just a few hours on a rather difficult air handler hanging horizontally under the house. Had a couple hiccups but were overcome quickly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Northwest Expert Heating came to my rescue after a tenant in my rental house left, and so was everything broken. I needed to prepare the house very quickly to rent it out. Every company I called told me it will take 3 weeks to some 2 months wait, just to get a quote. Richard at Northwest Heating called me back the same Monday, was willing to meet with me on Tuesday, and by Friday, installation complete by their professional installers . Are you kidding me! I mentioned to Richard my water heater was dead only after he arrived and he got it done together with my furnace. They cleaned up, hauled away my old furnace and old water heater. After being told by another company that my heat pump was shot after only 5 years, Jessie told me it was perfectly fine and changed a few settings to make sure it worked at maximum efficiency. I had a great experience from start to finish. Eddie came out and gave me a bid. I was able to get my unit installed within a couple of weeks. Yarik installed the unit and so far it’s great. I would recommend them for ductless units. I really felt like they were honest and not trying to upcharge or sale me on something I didn’t need.

Short version: these guys were quick to come out, solve our problem, help us make an informed choice on how to proceed and got us squared away quickly.Long version: Had our heater break down on the coldest day of the year. At night. On a weekend. With a pregnant wife and a 16th month old. During a global pandemic. I was awake all night to keep stoking the fire to keep the house even remotely warm. I called first thing in the morning and Jessie came out ASAP. (Wore a mask the whole time too...can’t wait until people find that bit weird to see in a review) Sadly my old furnace was totaled, but we talked through options and pricing in a very straight forward way. I never felt pressured and had all my questions answered readily. We went for a heat pump so we could get cooling in the summer to. Got the heat portion installed super quick, with heat THAT day. We did need a couple follow up visits due to a couple crossed wires but they were quick to come out, and got us squared away. Jeff came out well after a normal workday is done to make sure our cooling portion worked once the weather turned hot. Definitely recommend these folks for heating/AC.

I’ve asked for like 10 ac companies during the hottest days in Seattle, and Andrew is the first to come and check my home. Others were like, it has to be at least one month later. He works late that when he arrived it was like 9pm, and the install team came several days later. They are very responsive and on time.

Within a couple hours of placing an emergency call that my furnace has gone out and the house wreaked of burnt smell, northwest was quick to dispatch Jessie who was on time. Given it inclement weather and that it inside temp was quickly dropping, this was critical to us. Jessie arrived and was super friendly and professional! He was quick to diagnose my issue and got my furnace up and running in no time. I could tell from our discussion that he had expert knowledge and decades of experience in these systems. Overall a good experience. They had the best bid (of 4) by a longshot, and offered to move where I change the filter, making it way more convenient & easy! They were quite late showing up, but had some issues with getting my new furnace. They stayed until they got me up and running (It was almost 2 weeks without heat during a chilly March.) They had to come back to finish up some insulation and clean up. Love my new T-stat and furnace. I would highly recommend this company.

We recently purchased our house, which came with forced-air heating. We noticed that the master bedroom had some foam on the bottom of the window. We presumed that the previous owner had felt the need to use an in-window AC unit and now that we are working from home for the foreseeable future, we thought that we should install AC before the blazing heat of the NW summer.Richard was able to stop by our house within two days of contacting Northwest Expert Heating. He provided a quote and his recommendations for units while onsite. I followed up with him a couple of days later with some more questions and we discussed other options (heat pump, SEER efficiency vs cost vs time to recoup in the NW). We did also get other quotes which were all in the same ballpark (Northwest Expert Heating was the cheapest by a small amount, but that was not a deciding factor in our decision).We were able to get the install scheduled within a week or so of making the decision. The installation team completed all of the work within the day, including laying the pad, running the coolant lines, work on the existing furnace, etc. Cleanup was great - other than the new condenser outside, you couldnt tell that they had been there.Obviously, not much opportunity to see how well everything works until the summer, but we are certainly looking forward to working in a cool house!

* updating this review. They did come back and follow through so that the furnace is working. Also changed the drain line to a simpler more professional set up that is better. The heavy snow we had during this time was undoubtedly a factor in the problems.Unfortunately our old heater went out on the coldest days of the year. This company installed a new furnace that doesnt work. A technician has been back 4 times already. Each time it works for a bit then stops working again. They also dont seem to have any working idea for draining the condensation it produces. They rigged a pump with plastic tubing that doesnt work. Never seen such a set up before. They say theyll TRY to come back at some unspecified time. In the meantime its cold.

We had to call them as our furnace was not working. They came the same day and were giving the option to fix and the option to replace. We decided to replace since our furnace was about 10 years old and had problems in the past so it did not make sense to keep wasting money in repairs. I have been wanting to add central AC to our home, so we asked for different quotes on heater/AC combo, Northwest Expert Heating had the value for our buck! not only that but they were super fast! because our furnace was completely out, we had not heating source and they were so caring, they even brought us 2 space heaters to keep us warm during those winter days. The owner kept in contact with us at all times for updates as we were waiting for our new units. the installers did an outstanding, neat and beautiful installation job and we are so happy with them that I will recommend them to anyone I know!

Some companies are limited to one brand i.e Daikin, Mitsubishi etc. and really push the one they have.MY HOUSE* 1920’s, 2 levels and basement (3 total levels)Original system:* gas furnace in basement, ductedNEW SYSTEM* Daikin Heat pump minisplit, 1 wall unit living room, 1 wall unit in basement, 1 attic unit for top floor to feed ducts to bathroom, 2 bedroomsNEW SYSTEM -- PROS* each level can turn on off and regulate temperature as needed.* System works nicely as a whole and I was able to remove my furnace and make more room in my basement renovation.* We now have AC 🙂 !! Probably the best part* Wall units are pretty decent at the “Automatic” setting for the fan and temperature regulationNEW SYSTEM -- COULD BE BETTER (not bad)* The temperature gauge for the ducted unit is in the hallway(as most systems probably are) where you use the remote to operate, issue is the temp in the rooms could be colder/hotter than the hallway, so we end up having to keep the doors open to regulate(also the air return is there so it needs to do it’s thing)* Obviously the wall unit in the living room may not be the best to look at, I did get the best looking one by Daikon though and dont mind it, but it does actually “blow” the air, so we are unable to put any plants in the pathway of the air movement because it heats it up too much in winter, it makes a blowing noise like any fan would (ducted systems dont make any fan noise)* Heat out of wall units are not burning hot like a furnace, so sometimes if its freezing, could take a while to warm up and generally has to stay on most of the time.INSTALLATION PROCESS* Good:- The guys were great, dad and son came for installation- quiet, efficient, cleaned up- Few issues all communicated and taken care of timely- I had tight space outside to install the heat pump and they looked into the sizing of the unit and space and worked with me through it and it passed. That was a real tricky problem.*Issues:- Inspection - attic unit needed to be lifted off the “floor” of the attic for service- Installation - One issue that was not as understanding nor happy with was that when they had ran the line connections from the wall unit in the living room to the Heat Pump and drilled a HUGE 4 hole in my floor joist, more than half the width. But, it appeared this large of a hole was not needed to run through the joists as the same connections were run through the exterior of the house to the heat pump with a much smaller hole.FOLLOW UP SERVICE* There has been a couple “emergencies” that they have been responsive and helped fix- I had some electrical done and created a lot of dust on the air, which clogged the return and made the system start leaking water on my ceiling. I guess this might not have been a problem if there was not a clog in the return filter, but it did raise a flag to the unit being slightly tilted and uneven and making the overflow redirect away from proper overflow draining tubes. They leveled it and hasn’t been a problem since. I am keeping an eye on it now though.- Not their fault, I started noticing leaking on my exterior wall and thought it was the condensation from my wall unit in living room. They were able to come out right away and take a look. The problem turned out that my basement contractor had cut and removed the condensation tube that led to outside so it was just dripping within my walls, luckily they helped me fix this right away.

Friendly and service oriented individuals. Had them over to help maintain the furnace. While I had to rush them in finishing up because of a waking baby (that one is on me), they forgot to plug pack a part of the circuitry. Texted them the day after when I figured the furnace only blew cold air. They had an technician out and fixed the problem after hours within an hour. Very responsive and service oriented, 5 star!! ✨🌟

Eddie and his crew replaced my old gas furnace with a high efficiency unit, installed central air conditioning, and a filter box assembly, as well as running new upgraded thermostat wire. Their turnaround time from date contract was signed to install date was a quick 3 days. They were on time, courteous, professional,and cleaned up before they left. They thoroughly explained how the system worked and I was impressed with their extensive knowledge of the equipment. I couldnt be happier. Plus, their prices were very competitive. Christmas eve lost my heat, when I called they were very responsive and arrived within an hour. I knew it was a problem with the blower motor not turning on. Jesse quickly diagnosed the cheaper part (Capacitor) as the problem and didnt try to sell me a Blower motor. I suggested an annual service because its been a few years. He said I didnt need it but he would clean my flame sensor because it was dirty and adjust it because it wasnt properly set in the flame. Great experience, so happy and highly recommended. Now I know who Im calling for annual furnace inspections, Thanks Jesse!

Shawn came and checked out my system for a tune up, and as I had feared might be the case, the system was bunk. Whats more, he was so transparent of what our options were, but strongly recommended the system we went with for myriad reasons. The team that came (the NEXT DAY!!) with some amazing timing, were extremely polite, quiet and clean (especially in the time of Covid-19). Honestly fantastic, and the only thing that could have made the service better, is if I had not had to replace the system! Just had a new furnace put into our home. These guys did great. Showed up on time, worked efficiently, kept the area clean even though they were in and out of the house they always removed shoes before going on the carpet. Completed the job in a very timely manner and I could not be happier.

QUICK REVIEW: Great service, nice people, fast, efficient, and know what they are doing. My only complaint is not great communication about when the installers are going to be on site, but after talking with them about the problem they seemed very solicitous to rectify the issue. Would definitely hire again.LONG REVIEW: Thursday, February 4th a bit after noon we discovered that our very old gas furnace was not functioning. I called Northwest Expert Heating based mostly on reviews here and elsewhere. They said they would have a technician out later that day. Jessie texted to say he would be arriving in 20 minutes at 3. He was prompt, and followed all covid safety protocols. I showed him that our Nest thermostat was saying it was not getting any power and he took a look at our wiring. After testing, he discovered that the problem was our board. I do not understand the system, but I really appreciated that he took the time to map out for me how he came to that conclusion. He said this was a very old furnace and he didnt think he could find a board, but he was willing to try.We had already been planning on upgrading to a heat pump with furnace backup including getting a quote last year for about $15,000. Covid hit so we didnt do anything else about it. The idea of trying to bandaid this system seemed silly when we already knew we wanted to upgrade so we asked Jessie to give us a quote. He took a lot of time getting to know the system, figuring out where everything would go and how they could wire everything up. The quote ended up being a bit over $14k and they could start the work the next day. We said ok.Friday, I was expecting to get a text or call saying the installers were on their way, but at 9am they were at our door. I hadnt moved our vehicles out of the way (or gotten out of my jammies) so we had to ask them to wait a few minutes. Once we get everything organized they got to work. Jessie and I had mapped out how wiring was going to work, but that needed to be adjusted a bit. They checked with me first though. They got the furnace set up and installed the heat pump but didnt have time to get the entire install done. At least we had heat! Unfortunately, they put the system on max heat and for some reason my Nest thermostat was not reading the temp correctly and we quickly started cooking in our house. I texted Jessie that evening and he asked if I wanted him to come out. I played around with the thermostat and got it to turn off. The next day after messing with the wiring and rebooting it a couple times the furnace stopped constantly running. Jessie offered to come out even though it was Saturday, but I figured we were fine and they would fix it Monday.Monday very early morning I got an automated email saying the installers would be at our house between 4-6pm that day. Luckily I have had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen remodeled and never trust when contractors say they are going to arrive, because they showed up at noon with no other warning. They finished the install about dinner time and Jessie came out the next day to finish the wiring. I was having a problem with my Nest still. The Nest was saying that the temp was 65 but I had an old fashion alcohol thermometer right next to it that said the temp was 70. Jessie and I tried and tried to make it work and the next day I was on hold with Google support when I got a text from Jessie saying he was buying me a new one and get off tech support, he would just replace it.My house is nice and warm, I look forward to it being cool in the summer and I feel like this is a company that will stand behind its work.

They replaced our furnace with a furnace/air conditioning unit. These guys were so easy to work with. They kept us informed of their progress in a timely manner. We had to have our electrical panel upgraded, which they took care of scheduling. We couldnt be happier with the unit they sold us. Our PSE bill really didnt change, that we noticed, when we added the air conditioning!!

Good folks, good price, and good service. They installed a complete system for me and even though there were glitches at first, they worked diligently to correct them. I would definitely recommend them. They will be my HVAC people for life.

After getting a couple of quotes regarding what needed to be done. Supposedly a cracked heat exchanger.I decided to just replace the furnace. I called all the big names that we see on a daily. I Wasn’t happy with the treatment I got nor the quotes.I dug a little further with the reviews. Found a small family operation that had good reviews on BBB and home advisor. Talked to them about what I needed. Ended up getting a full Trane furnace and AC unit installed along with a new high tech Honeywell thermostat and room sensors. All in all. They Saved me a couple of thousand dollars vs the other guys and I got a system that really works wonders. They fixed tons of existing issues.Mind you, this furnace was in a literal crawl space. They came out and kicked butt and took names. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. To my friends and family. Or if there was anything else I needed.You won’t regret going with them. They work hard, do quality work and are diligent in the due process to make sure everything suits your needs. From the first contact with Richard in sales, to the installers. On top of their game.I’m not related or affiliated with them in anyways. I just appreciate quality work and service. And so should you.

They responded promptly to my request for maintenance. However, the furnace was on its last legs, so I had them replace it with a new one. They didnt charge for the maintenance visit and gave me a reasonable price on the installation, and installed it the very same day.

Dima, the technician that figured out our heating, or lack of, was great. He figured it out right away, ran a few other checks to make sure everything else was working as it should and explained everything to me. I may not remember it all, but he kept me informed of how it all works. The company was very responsive and quick, considering how cold it is, it was really great to get this fixed right away. Fast, knowledgeable, flexible, quality work. I cant overstate the value working with these chaps, and they were the only legitimate HVAC installer I could find after talking to 5 companies who would install the ductless heat pump I researched and purchased for myself. Everyone else wanted to sell me their upcharged product offering, claiming it was a warranty thing, when the only warranty requirement for the product is that is was installed by a licensed professional. Plan to use again when I have another heating project.

The tech fixed my heating system even though the company doesn’t work on my my brand! He figured out what the lady tech told would cost $900!
