Oh my gosh! I love this place! Yes...the fudge is very good, but the ice cream is some of the best in the country! I will put this up against Greeters, Ben & Jerrys. Dont even bring up grocery brands. They even put their fudge in some of the ice cream. Ive been coming to Amelia Island for over 20 years - we always make a stop here. Oh...and take home some of the fudge, pralines, turtles or other candies home to your loved ones and friends. The BEST!

Stopped by there this afternoon for a ice cream after lunch.I had the salted Carmel fudge tasting in a cup. It was good but not greatWife had mint chocolate chip on a cone which she said was very goodOur friend butter pecan and she said hers was really really good.I am give 4 stars because the staff over the counter were a series of young millennials who made you feel like you just needed to move on and get out of the store. Could have been a bad day

You can have the best ice cream and fudge on the island but the rude teenage girl in the blue Dartmouth sweater was so RUDE & SNARKY I will never return. There is no need or reason to have such a nasty attitude when being asked questions. It’s literally your JOB.

Best place in Fernandina Beach! We come here every time we are in town for ice cream cones. Kids cones and adults; all delicious. Hard scoops. Also, the shakes and malts are great! I have also had the assorted chocolates and have given them as gifts. Very delicious!

Great shop for delicious fudge and other chocolates! Not sure about the ice cream - they were completely out when we visited. They make all of their fudge and chocolates in house. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly enough.

Really gone down hill! The candy is 1/2 the size it was just a year ago but the price is still high. The ice cream is thats what you want to call it is frozen water with flavoring. No cream in it. Very disappointed. I dont mind paying for quality but this has turned into another rip off tourist trap😔

They used to have the best Salted Caramel flavor EVER but they changed their recipe in the past few years. :( Otherwise—fantastic place. Love it!

Im so glad that this place is 300+ miles away from my house! The ice cream was sooooo good. I went twice in 4 days! I got lucky and walked in when there was a kettle cooking sugar for a batch of peanut butter fudge! Sorry, no pictures...

I like my ice-cream, I try as many independent places as possible and I have to say this was up amongst them. Good selection, great chocolates and fudge as well, also they did reasonably priced coffee. My only criticism, we went in the afternoon and it wasnt busy, we did look in the previous evening when it was heaving and the service appeared a bit haphazard with no obvious queueing system.

Very good, had ice cream in a cone with sprinkles. Loved the atmosphere and set up, staff was friendly. My husband had the fudge which he said was melt in your mouth good. Super fast service also even though the line was long.

The lines get long at times. Still worth the wait.

BEST REAL FUDGE EVER!!

I think this place is more popular for their ice-cream, but we entered to get some fudge. We ended up getting the box deal of 1 fudge slice + approx 16 chocolates (of our choice). Weve been picking at the box since and although some have been really rich and dense, making them almost sickly, they are great quality chocolates. Lose a star on their Covid handling of social distancing and whatnot, as the tiny public part of the store was full to the point of barely being able to move and some people didnt have masks - yet the sign says no mask no service. Im not even a pandemic panic pusher but Im wearing a mask etc. in an effort to help, so only fair to expect establishments to be doing the same.

The fudge is to die for, and the ice cream is even more delicious! I loved their mint chocolate chip, and as many fellow lovers know it’s hard to find a creamery that makes it the right way. Theirs was delicious and full of yummy chocolate chips! There are ALWAYS people waiting to get in and get ice cream, but don’t worry the line moves quickly! Just don’t forget to get a ticket so they can call your number when it’s your turn.

Always swing by here for fudge when we are in town. Tonights visit included an employee not wearing a mask and the gloveless attendent throwing a knife into my box of fudge. In addition, despite multiple signs, they still served those who entered without a mask. Safety doesnt seem to be their concern. I would probably go elsewhere next time, despite the good fudge. I understand covid precautions are hard to enforce with all employees and patrons.... but I am not interested in taking a risk I dont need to just for my sweet tooth fix.

Great little ice cream shop on the Main Street in downtown

While the ice cream is good- safety is very poor. Long line of course- and they had a number system with a sign limiting the number of people inside- but rather than having the numbers accessible to guests waking up, the dispenser was inside the door. You had to go through all the crowds - and step inside to get the number . No way to distance. Worse- employees had no gloves and no masks. They touched my cone with their bare hands- took my cash, rang up my order- and went on to next guest without ever washing their hands. After touching cash with NO gloves- touched a cone for me to eat- very displeased with lack of caution and protection and jeopardizing my health

Fernandina Fudge on Amelia Island, FL now has small slices of fudge for $3.50. Unfortunately, theyve changed the brand of ice cream they sell and its not as good as the previous ice cream.

A small cone is two big scoops. The flavors were all great except cookies and cream. It didnt have a lot of taste. The young staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the flavors. Definitely an ice cream parlor to return to. They also have home made chocolate and fudge but we were too full of ice cream to try any.

I have been to Fantastic Fudge probably 100 times over the years and never had one bad experience! Love it!!

Everyone had a bad attitude. Rolling their eyes at customers. A simple purchase was a bad experience. The guy that served our ice cream float didn’t even ask for what ice cream flavor we wanted in our ice cream float and decided plain vainilla was fine. Then when I said my daughter wanted certain flavor, he gave attitude. Mind that I said that on time before he placed the scoop in the cup but yet he did anyways. My daughter had to stay with that flavor. The cashier woman rolled her eyes at my husband when he paid.Overall ice cream and fudge were good but the customer service is the worst. These people seem so miserable working there.

Some of the greatest fudge Ive ever had, along with delicious ice cream served with a smile by an outstanding staff. I would definitely recommend a trip to the joint if youre in the area and youre craving something for your sweet tooth. My favorite has to be their peanut butter fudge with a waffle cone of mint chocolate chip. I will definitively stop by again,100/10!

Very tasty, a bit pricey

My drink was passable. Cappuccino. But the crowd of teenagers seemed to be more important than customers as the employees were busy chatting away. My mother in law ordered a hot chocolate. It was room temperature at best and had a massive glob of chocolate mixture just clumped up in the bottom of the cup. Basically just brown water.

Best ice cream on the island! Be prepared for a wait, as there will be a deli-style number pull system. Grab a number, wait outside and watch the ticker for when your number is about to come up. During the summer, you can expect to wait anywhere between 15-30 minutes for ice cream after dinner time. We came around 8:45 and were served around 9:05PM despite the hours being posted that 9:00 is closing time on week nights. No sign of slowing down once we were served. Every one working was hustling and friendly.

1 star is for the praline tasting good. The attitude from the brunette long haired employee was awful. She was short and rude- made me want to just leave. Embarrassing way to act!

The atmosphere is fit for whatever time of year it is! The ice cream is tasty and of course, so is the fudge. My personal favorite is the peanut butter fudge! It melts in your mouth! I’m also a HUGE fan of their hot chocolate. It is perfect for drinking while walking downtown and enjoying the extra holiday lights. The warmer nights are perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a few pieces of fudge, while listening to whatever live music Turtle is offering, without the crowd. Family friendly, the outside is pet friendly with a water dish, and parking is usually available. One of my favorite local spots!

I got the blood orange sorbet and it was not good. A very bitter taste:(...also, this store needs to change the layout. When you walk in and theres a lot of people, you cant get in the door because the ice cream line is at the door opening. Needs to be changed so the flow of customers can be smoother! On a good note, the 2 employees were awesome!

Ive eaten fudge many, many places. Homemade on location. This Chocolate Fudge, with or without pecans or walnuts, is the BEST, PERIOD!!!! Most use alot of butter in their recipe, NOT THIS!!! Dare ya to find better tasting FUDGE!!!

Sweet little spot. Love the display of fudge being made! Layout could be more efficient, but overall it’s great. We are traveling and didn’t want the fudge to go bad in the car, so we didn’t get to buy any, but the ice cream was spectacular. I had cookies and cream and my husband had espresso chip. Both were incredible! Yum!!

This place is awesome.Back in 2015 My family and I visited North Carolina Indian reservation and Tennessee.We had this magical fudge, so good the melted in the mouth and we werent able to find anything like it back in Florida.Fantastic Fudge is really close to that.... Is really fantastic!❤️😊

Yes the fudge is fantastic here, but the ice cream is just as good! Always a crowd for the wonderful confections that are made right at the store. Watch the fudge being prepared through large glass windows. Get some samples!Id like to tell you all about the ice cream flavors but Ive never gotten past the salted caramel fudge which is so decadent you have to just sit and savor it. There are some lower fat choices too. Bench seating only inside but there are tables and other codes right outside the door. A must visit place in downtown, in my opinion.

Well this is one special sweet shop. I know I will always find delicious varieties of fudge (Rocky road is my fav), handcrafted candies and great ice creamToday I had a small Buttered Pecan in a waffle cone and it was large enough to share - even though I kept it all to myself.Enjoy yourself at Fantastic Fudge, sit outside on the cafe sets or walk through downtown Fernandina. You wont be disappointed.

This place is an Amelia Island must see and experience. Old school feel ice cream shop that also has fudge and fudge covered goodies. You can watch them mix and toss the fudge before you eat some. Usually crowded in the evenings and after dinner on the weekends. But its just that good.

AWESOME FUDGE!! For the owners: have the young guy that makes the fudge take off his headphones and actually aknowledge the little kids trying to talk to him about the process. Our little ones were SO interested and he wouldn’t even make eye contact.

I love Fantastic Fudge. They have everything from ice cream, to candy, to homemade fudge. They have outdoor seating and a restroom. They even have a water bowl for dogs.

Really amazing place to stop in at for fudge if youre walking up the strip. You walk in and see a wide variety of ice cream and fudge. It had been a while since have had fudge so I stopped in to check it out. By the way, if you dont know what to get I highly recommend getting the buckeyes that they have there, peanut butter and chocolate fudge, very delicious. On too of that the cut off peanut butter and chocolate fudge was pretty amazing, Im already out of it so Im gonna have to mozy my way down and get some more. Hands down the most polite staff working there, I highly recommend a visit.

We had a short stay on Amelia Island on an unusually cold weekend. We picked up some fudge and ordered hot chocolate to keep us warm walking around. The fudge is amazing, but we are ruined for ordering hot chocolate anywhere else. They steam milk and provide a spoon covered in chocolate. You stir the spoon and let the chocolate melt into the milk. Absolutely divine.

Our family favorite ice cream and fudge shop on the island. Our kids love watching them make the fudge and the ice cream is definitely a fun part of strolling along Centre St.

You can smell this place just walking down the street and it is amazing. Everything we got was fantastic. It always seemed to be pretty busy everytime we walked by, but when we went in the queue moved pretty quickly.

I often have ice cream here, very high quality and incredibly delicious. I will admit, its usually pack do to their popularity. But dont let that scared you, it all worth it
