Straight Bubble ☕ ❤️. First visit/experience and it was great! I dont prefer sugar so I opted for a blue raspberry green tea (half syrup) with lemonade pearls and it was amazing. Very refreshing. Wide variety of merchandise, from teas to tea sugars and candles. Beautiful location with treats and ample seating. Ill definitely be back.

We love this place! I have the stamp card and everything but we havent been able to go back until recently and Im glad we did. Every single time, EVER.Single.TIME we visit here our tea is phenomenal! Overpriced and rude. When this place was the only option in town the could get away with it, now with a better option only 2 blocks down the street I hope they get their stuff together.My last time visiting this place I paid extra for extra bubbles in my $10 smoothie. As I watched the guy make it, not only did he not put extra in but he put about half what they normally do. When I asked why he was doing that he said it was because they were running low on bubbles and needed enough to last the rest of the night for when they closed in an hour or so. When I told him I had paid extra for extra bubbles he responded “well life is full of disappointments.” Needless to say Not only did I not get extra, I got half. I literally couldn’t comprehend what I had just heard. When I went and told the woman who appeared to be managing the place she downplayed them cost of extra bubble as if I shouldn’t be upset because it “isn’t that expensive to get extra”, did nothing to address, acknowledge or apologize for the comment her arrogant employee had just made.Done for life

Late review here. I purchased a pack of macarons (various flavors), and they were terrible. The meringue tasted more like frosting and was just as thick, and the cookie part was hard. Just really disappointed in these, since they are relatively expensive.

Each time has been great. Love this place. The employees in here are always pleasant. Great prices as well.

My husband got a (non-dairy) Strawberry shake with tapioca pearls and I got cinnamon vanilla milk tea with tapioca as well. Line was longish but wait was not. Drinks were good. Not too sweet. Tapioca was fresh and not too squishy. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend.

I am absolutely in love with this place. They have some great flavors, and you can mix them for even more interesting combos. They make recommendations each season, and its super fun to work your way through the different ones. This is a great place for people to try out Bubble Tea if they’re unsure!

Swung by here after church for a treat. I got an orange chocolate milk tea and its really good. Also tried peanut butter cookie dough. That too is tasty.

Lots of flavors. In a great location next to a hip weekend vintage market. Line (and wait) was a bit long but I enjoyed the tea. Im going to try a smoothie next time and see how they match up to Kung Fus product.

Bubble tea is okay. My biggest complaint is the macarons we ordered from Savor Pastisserie First of all came busted. Second, THERE WAS A HAIR IN ONE OF MACARON! Gray or blonde, short, but wedged in the middle like ewwwww! Never again. Ill just pay top price for authentic bubble tea and macarons.

LOVE this place. I cant even remember the last time I had a Thai Milk Tea this good. It has to be over 10 years!! Im not a big boba fan but my husband says his strawberry banana was really good. Their cakeballs are AMAZING. Definitely try the lemon ones!!

Lobed this place. Nice gifts all around the store. Good atmosphere. And was SUPER happy with my tea ( pineapple green tea with mango star shaped ( happy surprise !!!) Gels and mango gels. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Just changed my review from a five star to one because the staff is so uptight and tense in a carried over to me and my daughters happy experience The manager barked at me two times once because I was in the alley out back smoking which I understand and the second because someone was 9 in too close to me in a 6-ft line You can tell if shes very stressed out and its carrying over to the workers! Its very obvious she is in over her head and it wasnt that busy!! I am too businesses Im 9 mi and I will not be talking highly about this one anymore

Very disappointed. I loved coming here to grab a drink to go with my lunch. But then they changed the hours and are no longer open for lunch. Figured I could grab one after work today. I get that we need to distance, I was ushered outside to wait in the rain. What I didnt appreciate was waiting for 5min without seeing the line move, knowing that I figured I would have had to wait about 25min to get a drink. There was a guy who worked there that seemed to be amazed by the rain so he had to go see it, and furthered our wait. I figured I would ask him about the wait and new hours to be told they are short staffed. Not 1 now hiring sign was up and no mention of them fixing this issue. So i am sad that that may have been the last time I go there. This is a issue that the owner need to be on top of to fix, because there are tons of people looking for jobs.

Everyone was super friendly! Menu can get kind of overwhelming but cashier was more than helpful. Tea was awesome.

The staff is very friendly and nice. You cant eat or drink on the inside though. But so many flavors to try...perfect treat while your waiting for a reservation or after lunch

We drive to this Ferndale location because it is one of the only Bubble Tea places in town that open during the pandemic now. My daughter has severe dairy allergies, and the customer service is always very good and very careful when they make her drink. There was no seating when we went, but now the restrictions may be lifted. I was there end of January 2021. Very clean masks must be worn. Product always good here.

I have been coming to this place for years and always had a top notch experience. A lot of people that have left reviews were pretty petty and narcissistic. Place is always clean, staff and management are always nice, most flavors are always in stock.

The selection of flavors is unmatched, and they allow a generous degree of free customizations (2 flavors, 1/2 and 1/2 scoops of bubbles/pearls/jellies). 4 stars since it has looked like a construction zone with boxes everywhere for several years with no end in sight.

Passion fruit milk tea with tapioca pearls was yummy. Vanilla milk tea was good. I didnt like the Thai tea milk tea.

The bubble tea was just ok. It reminds me of a watered down milk shake. I was not a fan of the bubbles at all however, they are gelatin free. The old fashion Caramel cake is why they are getting 4 stars. It is $7 but a huge slice to last a few days. It has a butterscotch taste and very moist.

This store makes amazing Boba. With my picky children, we were able to find something for each of them and myself as well as my non boba boyfriend!!

Yet another disappointing experience here.I have been going here since they opened and have always been happy to have a bubble tea cafe in town. However, I can’t help but feel like they have gone downhill over the last few years.Wait times are a huge issue. And this is NOT a covid issue, it was happening way before covid. On multiple occasions, including today, I have waited 20-30 mins in line to order and receive my drink. Don’t plan on coming here if you have to be somewhere in a timely matter because you will not have time to stop here for a drink. There was a couple in line ahead of me who left after waiting 10 mins outside just to get in the door. Imagine all of the other customers who are leaving because the line is too long and doesn’t move at all.The lack of professionalism and cleanliness is what really gets me. Their dining area did not appear open even though dining rooms can reopen. Instead it was cluttered with furniture and boxes(on the ground and above the bathrooms). Fine if you don’t want to open the dining area... but it seems odd to close it off and use it as a storage space. The whole space from entry to exit was just littered with boxes and stuff and just looked like it was “under construction” rather than a welcoming cafe.While in line, a staff member behind the counter was grunting loudly and doing slam dunks into the garbage can. Said employee was also carelessly knocking over boxes and acting frustrated... this was all noticeable and overheard by everyone in line.The bubble tea was good, and everyone was nice enough, but I left feeling like I wasted too much time in line here, and that the whole experience has become far less welcoming than it used to be.

Their menu is great and offers a lot of fun bubble tea options! However their customer service is really really poor. My group of 4 went in to order and was ignored for 10 minutes while the 3 workers were making drinks for about 4/5 people who had ordered. I totally understand waiting when people are slammed but the fact the workers said nothing like “thanks for being patient what can I get you” and instead fought over who would finally take our order. It made for a very awkward and unpleasant experience which was very disappointing because their drinks are terrific! But I would rather go to Kung Fu Tea next time for sure and get way better customer service than here.

I had a great time today at this place. I always love going here to get either a pre-made drink or make a custom one. Also they delicious macaroons, cookie dough, and other things to indulge yourself in. Lastly they have a loyalTEA that gives you a free small drink or 3.50 off your next one after 10 drinks.

Love this place. The boba tea is affordable and tastes great. The staff is very welcoming and there are a lot of options of where to sit and do work or just hang out.

The staff was nonchalant. My order was wrong. I got a refund. No apology for a clear error on their part, very apathetic. Only received an apology after a very long back and forth on their IG. They do not seem to prioritize the customer’s perspective.

I am sad to write a poor review for a business I have frequented for years. When I went to get my bubble tea, there was a customer/employee (it was hard to determine) sitting in the shop with a mask on their chin. This person was eating inside the business, a violation of the current executive order and improperly wearing their mask. The person was sitting immediately next to the front door, coughing and eating mask less. Go somewhere that take covid-19 precautions more seriously.

My first time trying this & I got a cookies & cream smoothie with vanilla yogurt pearls & I should of either got it without pearls or a different kind of pearls. It was just ok I may go back & try a different kind.

I work next door occasionally and decided to try bubble tea for the 1st time in the 3yrs Ive been working for this company. The 1st time I decide to try this I was disappointed because the younger white male who made my order had the cup really close to his mouth and then turned around licking his fingers and wiping his mouth as if saliva came from his mouth. I immediately wanted a refund. I really wanted to try this place. Really disappointed and I hope that wasnt racism at its finest.

🤮worst Boba I ever had . They don’t use real milk they used syrupy I watched as the girl pumped vanilla flavor ( the stuff you see in start bucks ) into my banana slush boba. I really should stopped her and just asked for refund right there and then it was nasty . Don’t come here if if you first time trying it cause 9/10 you won’t like it . I’ve had real boba before and definitely this was my first and last time I trying any other place other than what I’ve been going to . 🤦🏾‍♀️. Basically NOT REAL boba.

I was excited to see they had vegan options for milk teas (you can substitute with plant milks) but the almond milk tea flavor (with soymilk) wasnt very good and had a strange flavor, and because of the extra charge of the soymilk, it was kind of expensive, even for a small. Service was super great and friendly though!

I highly recommend trying a guava rose smoothie while the summer flavors are still available.

Me and my friends come here to get the Taro bubble tea. It’s our absolute favorite!! They staff is really nice and there are games in the back you can play. Chill environment. Will definitely continue coming here !

LOVE this place. One of my favorite coffee spots in the City! The staff is friendly (especially the sweet Asian cashier with the awesome colorful fairy hair! =)), and the atmosphere is really warm & cozy. The coffee is strong and so flavorful, and hands-down has the best Abrogator you can find!!

I have gone to this store multiple times. In the most recent time in the store the person working was quite rude to me when I got my order. I usually love this place but would appreciate nicer service and have not been back since it left a bad taste in my mouth.

To compliment that they even provide you many board games and books donated locally for you to enjoy!

The assortment and service is great here! Orders usually come fast even during busy times and the drinks are never bad. You will not regret coming here, provided you know what youre looking for. Unfortunately theres no real guide on what to order so you will be extremely confused the first few times you order.

First time here hoping for a great experience. I got the strawberry mint green bubble tea. It was good, but the customer service was horrible. I went to the cash register, placed my order and handed the girl my credit card and she threw it on the counter. I then observed how she treated the next set of customers who were white and she kindly handed them their money. Maybe she’s bias or it’s just straight up racism. I then told the manager on duty about it. I wear a head scarf, i was born & raised here and i’m proud of my ethnicity/ religion. It’s just very sad of the experience i was looking forward to yet the rude treatment I received. Will not be coming here again.

It was amazing!!! I chose the watermelon flavored slushie with rainbow popping pearls :) the staff were astounding!

Its just ok. They go pretty light on the flavored powders in the milk teas so three minutes in its kind of like drinking watered down tea, but the pearls are good and they offer a variety of flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. Just wish the flavors were a little stronger. The people working there are really nice, though and the set up is cozy.

Love it! I work at affirmation nearby and me and my coworkers love it. Super LGBT friendly and nice gender neutral bathrooms. Probably 300+Flavor combos. Much more selection then goldfish tea. The Detroit Bubble Tea is awesome! Great atmosphere, good desserts, and even greater drink selection at a reasonable price. They have seasonal flavors as well as their standard flavors. They have milk substitutions (almond, soy, and coconut) as well as vegan dessert selections. I tried Lavender Lemonade slush as my very first bubble tea and was not disappointed. I absolutely LOVE the popping pearls! The bubble tea flavor combinations are as endless as your imagination. Stop in for a bubble tea on your next trip to Ferndale...you wont be disappointed!

Kind of disappointing - asked for frozen blended and received a warm weak bubble tea that tasted like swill. My sons experience was the same, warm watered down tea. Did not live up to the hype and the counter help was less than enthusiastic about serving or sharing info about the products.

Great service great food

I had this 5 stars for a long time but had to change my rating. We went in today and the guy who made one of the drinks the wrong size so only 3/4 of the cup was full so he filled the rest of it with the flavored syrup. It just straight up tasted like the syrup and was a kinda thick texture. I would have been fine with waiting for him to correctly mix more of the liquid, but he just decided to drown it in syrup. It ended up making my boyfriend sick to his stomach and giving him a headache after drinking half. Im really disappointed that the person who made it chose to just go crazy with syrup instead.

Prior to coming here, I have only had bubble tea at one other place…I am glad I at least had that experience since this place has SO MANY OPTIONS I would not have known what to do my first time here! And when I say a lot, I mean a lot! There are so many great places in Ferndale and I definitely want to come here after lunch or dinner to get bubble tea so I can try many more of their options. The store itself is larger than I would have thought and well lit, so I imagine it would be good for working/studying. And it had a nice inviting atmosphere with couches for socializing.

I like this place because of its ambience. I can go here with the baby and my friend - a mother of twin babies - and we can feel at-home in the front with the couches. They have great board games too if the older little ones are with us. I like the variety of flavors available, and the staff are always friendly.

Ordered through doordash - very friendly when I spoke to them over the phone over an order confusion and then they went above and beyond and threw in some extra items to make up for it. Drinks and food are great - highly recommend 💖

Had a Bubble Tea for the first time and it tasted great!! What an absolutely cool mix of flavor and the bubbles make you want to have another one soon! The place is brand new and has plenty of tables and unique additional coaches and comfy chairs. The staff was super helpful and the service was top notch. I really liked the place and have already been recommending to friends and family.

Love this place. The options for drinks are endless. The staff was nice. The back of the store is cozy and the games and books sound like fun for groups and individuals. The overall atmosphere is very comfy and friendly.
