Dont take any atv or side by side here for a diagnosis. Took a quad here that had a engine noise. They did a oil change on it said there was no noise. Went to pick it up and we could clearly hear a noise so we went in and got one of the mechanics. At first he said he would ride it like that. 20 minutes after letting it run and hearing it more he said yea, Id send it down the road and sell the bike, sounds like bottom end noise!? Like really after paying 140 dollars and saying there is nothing wrong with it??? They dont no what they are doing up there. Go to big st Charles or another dealer. This place is only good to go and get a quick part if you need it thats it. And half the time they wont even have what your looking for
I purchased my UTV paid in full on 6/5 and it was delivered the same day. Upon delivery the fuel gauge was not working. The person delivering it stated that since we had a windshield on order when they came to install that they would fix the fuel gauge. On 6/22 the exhaust cracked and they had to come pick it up and have had the UTV since. I have called every week since mid-July after not receiving any updates only to be told they were still waiting on the part from the distributor which should have been in the week before each of my calls but they still don’t have it. Surdyke has my money and UTV all I have is paperwork. This was purchased for our 50th anniversary to be used at our lake property and we have only been able to use for 2 weeks. The 90 day manufacturer’s warranty will be up on 9/5 and then I have to move on to my extended warrant that will involve a deductable. More out of pocket expense if something else goes wrong with it. The least they could do is offer to replace it with a similar model or refund my money. Who knows if they will have it for another month, 2 months or 6 months. They are telling me much. I should have looked at reviews prior to purchasing.

Bought a brand new 2020 raptor the people in the sales department are amazing! Great customer service!! Now the shop that’s a whole different ball game. I tried to change the oil and when I took the plug out all the threads came out with it and of coarse it wasn’t covered under my warranty what ever I paid to have it fixed. It sat down there for about a month when I finally came to pick it up they drove it out to my truck. I loaded it up, about a week later I wanted to go riding so just to be safe I checked the oil good thing I did!!!!! They didn’t put a drop of oil in it!!! I was furious!! I filled it up with oil and guess what it leaks out of the new plug they supposedly fixed!! I regret doing business with them and I will never be back! I will from now on be doing my business with Collinsville Yamaha!!!

If you are looking for superior service after the sale then ask for Landon in sales. I worked with Landon while purchasing a couple of wave runners. He was easy to work with during the sale; however, he excelled and went above and beyond after the purchase. He responded to my text questions and offered help when I needed it. I highly recommend you ask for and work with him when purchasing from Surdyke.
Going ok 3 weeks and still don’t have our rhino back. They say it was the carb that neeed rebuilt. Didn’t realize it took a week to get parts (when I can order and get within 2 days). Service lady basically tells you “we will call you”. Once this bike is fixed, won’t go back.

Took my Polaris outlaw there to get checked out to see what was wrong with it, it sat there a month and my part was a week and a half late. Then when I put the new starter clutch on it still didn’t start, not good business I won’t be coming back
$300 over estimate for repairs and they lost a piece to my 4 wheeler they said they would order a replacement we will see definately wont take anything else there to be repaired
I talked to Brian in the parts department he ordered my tires for me and had them in when he told me.The guys in the service department did a great job getting me in and out in the time they said it would take to complete. I would recommend Surdyke to anyone who needs anything for motorcycle or service. Great place to do business.
The parts manager Adam Duncan was extremely helpful and nice. He went out of his way to help me make a list of all the parts I would need to replace on my motorcycle with the cost included. Moreover, I ordered a part from a different store and the wrong part was ordered and Adam took the time to order me the right part and made everything as easy as possible for me. I highly recommend that you see him if you need anything. I will definitely be going back there to order more parts in the future.
I have bought multiple bikes from this shop over the last 10 years, and the sales guys are always top notch! I have also had my dirtbikes serviced here and have always been happy with the mechanics work. The prices were better than any other shop around, and the customer service is always great!

As always service and staff was amazing. I currently have a 2017 Polaris Slingshot, and always do service at this location. From the moment you step foot on the property the staff greats you. While waiting on my Slingshot to be serviced I have the honor and pleasure of speaking with Ron and Chris (Both Salesman) extremely helpful and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. I wont be in the market to buy anytime soon but when I do I will only buy from here! I will never go anywhere else for service. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. (Roderick)

Both of them jumped in and immediately addressed the problem.Customer service is a huge part of the sale and after sale. While I do not retract what I said about the parts guy, I won’t name him. I will retract what I said about their service. I’m happy that they were concerned with the level of service I received. I was assured that the issue is being dealt with. A big ThanksTo the service manager and Arron the mechanic. I hope I got that right. You guys saved a customer. I understand making mistakes I really do but now a days most people blow right by it and just don’t care. These guys do care .THANK YOU.Wow!!!! So I just got off the phone with an incredibly rude parts guy at this location. He was rude, condescending and ignorant. When I said did you just here what you said to me? I’d like your name he then hung up on me. He told me not to ride my rzr 170 through mud puddles. Then HE started escalating from there. Obviously this is my 7 year old boys machine that he rides at our farm. The puddle is only about 3 inches deep. When he goes across it goes into limp mode. When I wash it it goes in limp mode. I have bought 2 machines there in less than a year and was planning on trading in my old one and getting another new one.Trust me when I say this parts guy, you have NOT heard the last from me.

Bought a wave runner in June been 3 weeks still havent received the title. The one we wanted was at a different location so our sales associate told us he will get it transferred to their location and give us the same deal the chesterfield store offered but after looking over the paperwork we paid full price for everything!!! I understand it was partial our fault for not paying attention to the numbers while signing but I was not pleased with my experience from this location...

Update: First in response to the reply from the owner. No as a matter of fact I did get the bike from Surdyke Motorsports NOT Surdyke Harley and I have the paperwork to prove it, so dont assume otherwise and tell me to remove my initial review.Second, Ive decided to reconsider my initial rating of one star and give this place two stars simply because of two things. The person I worked with in sales was a good guy and he was a pleasure to work with. Also the guys in the service department have been very helpful in getting the few issues Ive had with the bike sorted out.A few of the guys in sales and the guys in service are great. Management, as made apparent by the response to my first review, they need to be knocked down a notch.First review: Terrible experience. Went in to trade in my sport bike for a Harley. Asked 3 different people about the Harley they were trading me and everyone I asked said it was a good bike with no issues.Found out this wasnt the case. There was a moderate head wobble when reaching a certain speed. When I brought this to their attention they said they would take care of it if I brought it in.A few days later I brought the bike in. The first problem I had was their technicians didnt seem to be very engaged in actually figuring out what the problem was. They tried a few things such as putting another weight on the front wheel and checking deflection. This was the problem though. Instead of trying to figure out the cause for the problem, they simply tried a few random quick fixes to try and solve it. When I told them the isssue was still present they took at in again but proceeded to solve the issue in a different way.Instead of taking care of the problem like they said they would, since the bike came off their floor in that condition and they said theyd fix it, they instead tried to attribute the issue to what they termed the Harley shake. They talked to me like I was an idiot, saying that every Harley does that, which I know for a fact is not the case. I come from a family of Harley riders and am in the process of restoring a Harley given to me by my father. A bad head shake, which is the wheel and front end rapidly oscillating without firm enough handlebar input, is NOT a normal condition for any motorcycle.Not only did they outright lie about the condition of the bike they were giving me, and led me on that theyd fix it, but they treated me like a moron and assumed that I would accept their Harley shake argument.Do yourself a favor and save your business for another dealer that wont treat you like an idiot and doesnt explicitly say that they dont do shady stuff, to cover up for the fact that thats exactly what they do.
Bought a 2016 side by side thinking we were getting a great deal. We were so happy with the nice staff, willingness to work with us and even cut us a great deal. We drove over 4 hours to get this machine. We get it home the FIRST night and the radiator fan is bad, so we replace it $200 later. Now it needs a new head gasket. We havent even rode it. From working at a dealership myself this is not how business should be done!!! Very disappointed.

This dealership doesn’t deserve a star. Adam in service and Chris the manager should be fired. And the owner should be ashamed of himself for running a company like this. They rebuilt a engine for a rzr 1000 and after about 20 hours the bike runs out of oil. So I took it to Chesterfield and they found that the valve cover gasket was improperly installed and that’s why it ran out of oil. So Chesterfield has it about 2 weeks and when I get it back the check engine light is still on. The mechanics there say it’s probably an O2 sensor. Nope. Because the bike ran out of oil it jump time again and was running horrible just like the staff at Festus. Since neither Surdyke is competent enough to ACTUALLY fix something I had to take it to another dealership and they found the problem within a day of working on it. So after paying nearly $4000.00 to have to engine rebuilt I had to pay another $830 for more engine work that should of never happened had the bike been rebuilt right the first time. The manager of the Chesterfield store is the only person for either location to call me back and he offered to pay half of the $830. Because the owner doesn’t feel they are responsible for it. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND EITHER SURDYKE TO ANYONE!!!!
I bought an 09 Yamaha Zuma from them on May 5th 2019 and while I cant say I completely regret buying it overall, I do regret buying it from them. The spark plug fouled on me after just about a week of riding it. I had it in their shop for several months. There was nearly a whole month of time wasted simply because the mechanic working on it kept ordering the wrong parts over and over and had to wait on those incorrect parts to be shipped. They actually did not even realize the scooter had an aftermarket 70cc kit, and they were ordering parts for the stock 50cc version. They recommended that I kit a whole new kit for a top end rebuild which was fine, but their reasoning was that they claimed they were not the ones that actually installed the kit, while when it was sold to me the salesmen explicitly said they WERE the ones that had put it in there. They also claimed that the kit had no markings and thus they did not know what brand of kit it was, providing another reason for them needing to do a whole new kit but after taking it to a different mechanic he was easily able to identify it as an Athena kit. I made over twenty calls to the service department to check on the status of the Zuma, never once did I receive a call from them in order to fill me in on what was going on. I eventually ended up calling the GM and unfortunately he was no help at all and while this is merely opinion, the tone of his voice while speaking to him indicated that he cared very little about the problematic situation with my Zuma. And I we reiterate, this vehicle that I bought for about $1.8k was rendered useless after only about a weeks worth of use, and yes I did put in a plug to replace the one that had fouled and it too fouled in only 90 miles of usage. To get anything to happen at all I had to speak to the owner himself. And after all this they never even had an exact diagnosis as to what the problem really was, they just knew there was really low compression. Turns out the cylinder was scored really badly and it did need a whole new kit, that information provided by a different shop later, not Surdyke. The lack of detail in what Surdyke was telling me became troubling after speaking to someone at a different shop. I eventually decided to pick my Zuma up from them and take it elsewhere. On my way there after speaking to them on the phone they were saying that they were under the impression that they were going to put in the new kit, but last I had spoke with them I told them that I actually needed time to even come up with the money. They said they had already order the kit and its on its way, also it was non returnable, which I had a little trouble believing. But then moments later I got a call from them saying Oh, its not on its way, its actually already here! Now why on earth would they have not called me if the kit was there and they were ready to work on it? Wouldnt it be nice to give the customer an update especially when they explicitly said they needed time to come up with money for the repair? Everything seemed very disorganized and disheveled with them. They simply seemed to not know exactly what they were doing when it came to working on my Zuma. I will say one thing though, everyone was very nice and polite and I didnt have any problems with any particular individuals there. No one was rude and all my interactions with everyone went completely fine. But that being said I simply dont recommend you buy a used vehicle from them. Buying new may be a totally different story. Hey maybe even my vehicle was just a pain in the butt being that it was a modded 2 stroke. But even so I just know this will be my first and last dealing with Surdyke. Thank you.

I will have to make a payment now on something I dont even own! or get a late fee and a bad credit remark all because someone up here did not write a check for the pay off on my trade in!!! and not to mention I will have to not only make a payment on my new loan but the trade in as well!! till this matter gets resolved. It dont take much efort to write a check and mail it in? or maybe they dont have the money? What bull sh**t

I bought a polaris sportsman off craigslist and had surdyke rebuild the entire engine. final price was a fraction of what other dealers wanted to charge. They kept me updated on where they were on fixing it. Whenever i need parts for my other 4 wheelers, they are happy to help. A+ customer service and experience. highly recommend.

I would give zero stars if I could. We have had 3 machines bought/serviced at surdyke and have nothing but trouble and continually breaking down. Bought a brand new Phoenix and it has broke down twice, has less than a couple hours on it. Had a Kawasaki motorcycle rebuilt, rode it about 100 yards and it broke down and had to be pushed back. Had our Ranger in several times for various things and almost everytime we took it out after getting fixed, it broke down. Most recently gear shifter wasnt done correctly and it broke down and had to be rigged to get it back. Apparently we got a lemon with the Phoenix but no one has offered to trade or replace only fix a brand new 4wheeler. I know we would never refer anyone to buy anything there and once we hopefully get the machines running, we will not go back. Now, labor day is coming, we have plans to go riding and have 2 definitely broke down machines and one that wasnt fixed properly.

Really bad customer service! My husband bought a 2014 Yamaha Viking and we had to take it back for repair and they didnt even put the rear brakes back on. When we called they didnt want to take the part off of another one because they didnt want to inconvenience anyone.Hello we are a customer as well. What about our inconvenience. A 13,000 dollar side by side shouldnt have this many problems with only 278 miles on it!!

I still dont really have an update on my bike as of today except for the fact that they are still waiting on parts that were ordered last Tuesday. Around 3:00 pm today when I stopped into the shop the parts manager said that he would call me back with some answers... and I never got a call backMoral of the story is Surdyke has given me nothing but the run around and my bike has now been in there shop for 3 full weeks with basically 0 progress.If I could rate 0 stars I would. I will never return to this shop.
Called today to see if they do safety inspections which they told me they do but cannot do any for a couple of months... called back later to see if they carried yamalube for my motorcycle so I could pick some up on my way home and change my oil. The lady said she didnt know and she would transfer me to the parts and service dept. I got put on hold for what seemed like five mins to her picking back up saying that they were busy and asked if I could leave a message! Wow how do you not know that??? So glad I am not a customer there! Thats what happens when you have a business that supports Eric Greitens. Poor unskilled employees!!

Aweful, whoever was working in the parts department on Friday around 4 o’clock on June 29th 2018 he is the most ignorant associate. I asked for the price if I had bought a chain from them and had them put it on and he said it would be around $2,700 to install a chain on my motorcycle. Such a professional answer to something that clearly isn’t the right price.
