I go to this store often and have noticed a lot of older clientele. Please add a seating area for these people. I cannot often get all the way through the store and have to leave my husband to shop while I go out to the car. If there was a bench or some chairs, this would be very helpful.

I shop here every week and buy less and less. I like filet mignon and used get them special. Lately there have been some already cut and those are usually all fat and gristle. I’m willing to pay the high price but not for junk meat. I am also not happy that the selection of brand named items are not being continued. I have been a good customer for about 40 years and prefer shopping at local businesses but service seems to be unimportant these days.

Management apparently is too precious to use a register. Good luck checking out in a reasonable amount of time. If you want that dmv feel at a premium price, this is the place for you. Before being hung up on the manager told me customer service is only a priority when managers have the time.

The meat department the last few weeks has been horrible. The meat smells terrible and looks bad alot of the time now. Theres not much veriety anymore now. And the visual aspects not even looking at the meat. But the shelving just looks filthy. So im editing my original review because the deli department associates have been nothing but rude the past several weeks. If they cant take the 2 seconds it takes to be polite then maybe thry shouldnt be there. And thr management does nothing about it. Even when thry are the ones being rude aswell as well

Going to have to rethink my policy of never using self check. Based on the attitudes of Schnucks checkers, theyre not all that concerned about their jobs. Why should I be?

I havent been to this Schnucks in 15 years. Everything seemed to where it was then ! Large straight through aisles. Very efficient!

The prices are very high!!! I went in to buy fresh ground beef and I thought I was investing in buying the store!! Way over priced on 99% of all products!!!

Picked up a prescription at the CVS pharmacy and its a little inconvenient for me but doable.3 stars because its cold in there, inconvenient and crowded. But the pharmacy didnt give me any problems and was in and out in about 20 minutes.

A years worth of knowledge about how the virus spreads has not reached these folks; they still shame people for bringing cloth bags to the self checkout. Wonder if theyre getting kickbacks from the plastic companies yet. Smh

Bought a pack of cube steaks,today June 7th. They had a sell by date of June 10th. When I got home and opened the package to cook them,they smelled AWFUL! Definitely were not edible! As expensive as their meat is,they should at least make sure its fresh! Also was charged $55.12 for a pack of cheese from the deli,bc evidently it wasnt scannable & the cashier typed in $55.12 instead of the actual price of $5.12. They did refund my $50,but it was still a hassle having to go back up there! Thank goodness the cube steaks were spoiled,as that was the only reason I was looking at the receipt to begin with & noticed the $55 cheese. Definitely NOT a fan 😞😞😞

Grocery store. Atmosphere to be expected. Had issue checking out with coupon (Shnupon) and it took 10 to 1t minutes to fix. They however did fix it and credit put bill.

I remember back in the day the deli made a quality sandwich.King of the Hills had specific meats that were used now its hit and miss on what they throw on a sandwich.My guess is whatever ends are left in the deli case or going to expire soonest.For the price you pay youd think they could at least use quality meats.

Have been to this store three times. Every single time employees do everything in their power to not help assist you and are extremely rude.

Rude woman that works in the deli! I couldnt hear her bc of her mask and she snapped at me over salami. Another worker was stocking shelves and we were reaching for something and she gave us a dirty look. Guess we were in her way! Most of the workers are not very friendly at all. Not the friendliest store in town. Customers are an convenience to some of them. Rather drive 20 miles than shop there! Maybe they shouldnt be in Customer service if their so miserable and hateful. They forget customers spend money in that store which gives them a job! Dont appreciate being treated that way at all. Ive shopped their for years and the past year the customer relations are getting worse everytime I go. Its a dreaded shopping trip now.

Went for a couple of items and found some other items I figured were long gone since leaving the Northeast. I found chocolate hummus and some Cabot cheese we love. Thank you Schnucks for having these items, I will look for some other items we miss later.

Schnucks has reasonable prices,ftiendly employees,clean store and people follow safe social distancing.

Easy to find what you need, store is clean, cashiers are nice. Deli person was very short with me and want very knowledgeable about products.

Horrible experience. Why couldnt they have closed this location and kept on the one in town? Not only is there outdate/expired food on the shelves the meat department is ridiculous! I purchased meat a week before its due date. When I unwrapped it, it had a rainbow sheen...nope, not eating it. Called the store they said come in and we will replace the meat. They replaced it with meat that was even worst...note picture. I called and they said they would again replace it-I didnt go back. I appreciate that they offered to replace it, but why not check the meat....I doubt I am the only customer this happens too.

Cashier was friendly.Purchased 2 taco salads. When we got home to eat them, there was only lettuce, tomato, cheese, olive, green onion....not taco meat at all. Very deceiving description label. Should have been called salad and dropped the price. Very disappointing.

Since Walmart remodeled, Ive found myself shopping at Schnucks and Aldis more to find the brands they discontinued. These are just a few. I shop all at once for the week.

I shop here alot. I have gotten home multiple times and found that dairy products, canned goods, even spices to be expired. Instead of wasting my time returning, I just tossed them. This is the last straw. I bought a cheesecake. That night opened it up and it was weird looking, checked the date, it says Dec 18. Today is April 21st. Planning on getting my refund and taking my business elsewhere.

There was a very nice young worker named Tristan who helped me out! At first he was having trouble responding but once he got his confidence he was very respectful and helpful. Even got me a cart!!! Definitely would go back again... Especially if hes working.

Store was crowded as expected for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving but staff moved the customers through the lines in a very quick manner.

I like the one in Farmington better. They dont have the car carts for kids and the bakery is on the opposite side of the deli. It is very clean and the people are so friendly! Love the cookies and the breads! Great selections except for they dont have many options for sugar free creamer.

Love this Schucks location. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait for my prescription and it took about 5 minutes if that! The cashier at register 9, Kari, was just as polite as the pharmacy employees!

I stop here to grab Gluten free foods for my daughter. They have a gluten free section which makes it so convenient to go grab what we need, they also have a variety of gluten free choices in the freezer section that we cannot find anywhere else locally. We appreciate the accessibility and options!

Very rude management. I tried to purchase a few hundred dollars in gift cards and was confronted and denied because “it could be fraud”. Excuse me? ID and card match- but were in Festus and you look young?Do better.Here’s an idea: don’t sell gift cards.Go somewhere else to shop. For gift cards- or anything else.

Covid precautions in place, even had a guy chasing down and cleaning the carts with sanitizer after each use. So props for that. Honestly even without covid Id like to see them sanitize the carts. But overall a decent place to shop Ive never had any issues.

What happened to the products in the this department? I purchased cookies from the bakery and they were so hard could have broken a tooth. Options are not as plentiful and overall quality has gone down hill. I now only look in the bakery at Schnucks as a last resort. Sad.

Had to run in to buy just a couple things, had a bagger roll their eyes at me when I wanted to use a tote instead of a plastic bag.

I love my local Schnucks. I especially love the people at Schnucks. I like seeing the same faces year after year, and I will stand in the longest line just to be able to say hi and smile and laugh with one of their employees. Eric always has a smile and I love it. Hes been there forever and I hope he always is. Steven the cashier makes my day. Love going through his line. Heather is so sweet. Shes very caring and it is nice being asked about my family.

They do have a good selection on items but its a little pricey and I hate how you can only go in one door and out the other...I am in a wheelchair and its to cold to wheel half way across the parking lot just to get to one door

Love Schnucks in Festus, Mo. The employees will help you if you need to find something and if they are out of something. the manager will order it for you. They may be a little more expensive than Walmart but Walmart does strictly cheap stuff in my opinion and I know that what I get at Schnucks is good!
