If fall were a coffee shop, this would be it.Late for the Train Cafe has all the mountain town vibes, delicious coffee & pastries, free WiFi and a picturesque outdoor courtyard framed by Aspen trees. It also has the slightly higher prices, but I dont mind - wrap me in cinnamon-scented flannel and take my money.Side note: Street parking is hard to find, but there are plenty of paid parking lots downtown.

They got a really cool garden courtyard. They got two nice bathrooms. I like the expresso shots poured over ice cream. This is definitely a great addition to the downtown area. I would highly recommend any coffee connoisseur to check them out. This is one train you dont want to be late for. 😉 But the cool thing is, even if youre a little bit late, you can still hop on board (during regular business hours). 😁👍

The cold drinks were good. The mocha was good. The chai was great. But the hot chocolate was pretty watered down. As the drinks were good, the outside seating and ambiance is definitely a 5/5. Cool open atmosphere and a beautiful breeze coming through. On the other hand the staff had quite an attitude towards my family for no reason. Very impatient, it was sad. The menu is pretty complicated. It was hard to order along with the impatient and funny acting staff. It would have been a 4 out of 5 if not for the staff. Its almost like they hate the world and they then dont like me and were impatient. I will add photos so you can see how beautiful it is. Before coming here, think about going to a local Starbucks instead.

Clean and cozy, flavorful coffee, great breakfast burritos, sinful treats (the cream puff thing is to die for!), and the staff were friendly and patient with us in our decision making. Enjoying it all on the beautiful back patio made it all even better! Will definitely be back!☕

The breakfast burritos are already made and in the chiller for a quick grab and go. If you want it warmed, you heat it up yourself in a microwave in the store. The Jasmin green tea was pleasant enough. We also got an apple pastry which also came from a chiller. Would have been nice to have it at room temperature or warmed. But, you can always warm it yourself in the provided microwave. Servers were friendly. Food was fine. Not bad, not great. There is an awesome patio.

I normally love their coffee, but the service just seems to be getting worse and worse. They used to be friendly, now they seem too cool to care. The place was empty, I ordered drinks and food, went to the patio, and waited for our items to arrive. After 10 minutes, I walked back inside, only to find several workers behind the counter chatting, with our food and drinks sitting on the counter getting cold. Ok, you could at least come out and tell us our stuff was ready. Seriously, when they expect an 18% tip minimum on the credit card machine, the least they could do is volley a few drinks out to the patio. Thank you lazy baristas, I no longer feel the need to tip any counter service ever again. Im tired of tipping for people just barely doing their job. Oh, and the vegan zucchini bread is mushy and gross. That recipe really needs fixing.

This newer location has not compromised a bit of what I love about LFTT. They have a beautiful backyard courtyard that feels like a slice of aspen paradise in the middle of downtown Flag. Great coffee and delicious baked goods (coffee cake is my fav), this is a must visit if you’re a coffee lover visiting this mountain town

Very good. I like the “Rockrammer,” about $4, which is like a capucino but the espresso is passed through raw sugar first. Inside there are tables and fat couches, and there’s a big patio out back. Only $2 for the banana or zuchinni breads.

.LFT is a great community oriented cafe with excellent staff, plenty of seating(large patio in the back), delicious breakfast burritos and coffee(they also have my favorite Pellegrino soda).I enjoyed my coffee and burrito on a comfy couch. There is nice artwork and attractive decor. The place is very clean and a well run operation. You will be energized and make your train down the street after a visit.Note: This was one of the few places in Flagstaff allowing indoor seating with nice AC(bonus points while other places forced customers to sit in the blazing 100F heat).Highly recommended.

I used to enjoy late for the train quite a bit. Their new downtown location is lovely, and they have reliable mochas. My last time there I ordered a flat white and it was incredibly bitter. Makes me wary of ordering any espresso drink there not masked by chocolate. And unfortunately it was very expensive, more for that 6oz flat white than an 8oz from Lux that was worlds better.
