As of July 26 2021, I consider myself a former customer of Winter Sun. Why? I will happily comply with face mask and hand sanitizer requirements before entering the store (as I have done in the past) but I will not accept being treated as if I enlisted in the Marine Corp and be rudely treated to comply. The middle aged man behind the stores counter could easily double as a Marine Corp drill sergeant. Good bye Winter Sun, Im taking my business elsewhere.

I had a fantastic experience at Winter Sun! They are taking Covid Precautions very seriously, which I appreciate. They had a maximum of two shoppers in the store at a time, which meant I had to wait outside for a bit. But, the short wait was absolutely worth it! Winter Sun has an extensive variety of herbs and teas! The staff are also more than happy to help, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for! The staff even went above and beyond to recommend specific herbs and teas according to my needs. Everything is fantastically priced, and Winter Sun ais a must visit in Downtown Flagstaff!

The first time I went in the store was about nine years ago. I was visiting the Grand Canyon and spent the night in Flagstaff. When I walked in the door I could feel the energy positive and strong. I like the fact that their essential oil‘s are food grade some locally sourced. I have since purchased from them every year over the phone and have had the best experience.

I was in complete heaven! This place has kind and friendly staff with great vibe . All the products are organic and priced very fairly. I Would highly recommend as I will definitely be ordering products because sadly i live on the east coast and have not found anything that compares yet. You have my heart for sure 💛

Their Mimosa face cream is the absolute best! I have triedother face cream$$, and the Mimosa is the only one thatrelieves the dryness from exercising or just living andyour face tells you it needs the cream!!! Right now! I cantlive without it! it is the very best .. Clinque eat your heart out!

Absolutely love their loose leaf teas, also great selection and quality of herbs and spices. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also carry in-house made tinctures(herbal extracts) and other natural supplements and remedies.Not sure I completely understand their front gift shop area. Would rather they use the space for more tea blends and herbs.

The herbs here are organic, fresh, and potent. They have a huge inventory and the staff here are always innately and genuinely friendly, which by any standard makes this an awesome place to be. Thanks to everyone at Winter Sun Herbs!

Phyllis Hogan is the founder of this landmark shop in downtown Flagstaff. It dates back to the 70s and has a long, wonderful history of being the off-beat place to make the Navajo, Havasupai, or Hopi Connection.Herbs, spices, seeds, musical instruments, and Native American artwork adorn the store. It is the single best source in Flag for all of these. Phyllis daughters live in New Mexico and continue their mothers healing business by owning and operating The Super Salve Company, purveyors of fine healing salves and herbal remedies. Phyllis was also best friends with dear friend of mine, a French woman, Michelle Glass, who lived in Centerville and called Phyllis sister. They were close pals and because of their friendship I was introduced to this healing place.Winter Sun i exactly that, a healing place. I havent stopped by for a few years, however I know that it is still an oasis for people interested in heaaling and the spiritual path. Your visit will bring new connections as well should you seek to know the best that Flagstaff has to offer in the way of conscious business places.
