If I understand how it works, these centers are the last stop before goodwill gets rid of donations for good. As such, all the good stuff has been purchased before arriving in this location. That said, there are some gems to be found if you dont mind digging through bins and tables full of stuff thats only barely sorted.I wasnt keen to dig through all the tables of clothes (and there were a lot) since I wear very hard to find sizing... and it wasnt likely I would find anything in my size that I actually liked anyway. However, a rudimentary look showed a few really nice looking items for someone who could wear the sizes, or was buying with a plan to resell.Shoes were rubber banded in pairs. Often you could only find one of a pair on top and would have to dig around for its match. Kind of gross to me, but I saw several bargain hunters digging through things with gloves. A good idea I think. There were some really disgusting looking linens on the tables, but just as many nice ones and lots of in between. The store had great prices on furniture items, some not worth the time, but many in decent shape or easily altered/repaired for use.Lots of toys, kitchen, household, books, various media (including VHS) and odds and ends. It was everything you would find in a regular goodwill but picked through and less organized. Most everything you buy is sold by weight except books, media, and furniture. I left with a nice, big, new looking bath towel, a pair of unworn Toms slip on shoes, a packaged lot of 5 Reiki magazines (they were 25 cents for all five), and a brand new pair of thick name brand hiking socks.. All for $4. Not a bad haul (and great price) considering I wasnt really digging around and mostly just looking at stuff near the top! 😀.Buyers note: I asked the clerk if they had issues with bed bugs. He advised they hadnt had issues since they stopped accepting used mattresses for donation. Still, I would suggest bringing a garbage bag for any soft or fabric items you buy so you can tie them up tight in the bag before putting them in your car. You should take them straight home and wash them on HOT and most importantly, dry them on high heat. If some thing isnt washable, dry it on high heat for a good thirty minutes to be safe.
This good will looks NOTHING like the photos posted. Nothing is neatly sorted on racks or hangers. Everything is thrown into UNSANITARY CRATES. Everything there is thrown around and broken, one time I found an UNCLEANED HOSPITAL URINAL That stank to hell and promptly left after that experience to disinfect my entire existence. Do yourself a favor and go to the goodwill near the harkins theatre if your looking for a sanitary bargain.
Thursday is a great day to go as well as most Saturdays wilhen everything is half off
This is a Goodwill Clearance Center, if you are looking for a standard store, this is not it! Most reviewers dont seem to understand that. These type of stores are great for resellers. You should expect to dig through bins, that is how they are nation wide. I have visited many. This is one of the least busy clearance centers I have ever been to, probably because they do not rotate their items very quickly. I still find good stuff to resell her and the prices are lower than those in California.
Great store...they converted this to an outlet where you pay by the pound this past year and opened a brand new, huge store out by the Flagstaff Mall thats a traditional retail store. Both stores are awesome, very friendly people and great deals every day. I go there everyday!
This discount center is closed until further notice. They still take drop off, but no retail hours.
The womens bathroom often smells terrible, but on Sundays they have all of one color tag for a dollar, and you can get some crazy deals if you show up at the end of the day when its not so crowded and you dont have to wade through people. The staff are all polite and friendly and the management that Ive dealt with has always been nice to work with. Occasionally theyll give you a deal if you ask for it!An interesting range of stuff comes through this store, from pretty beat up to new with tags. I have an ebay store and have found some profitable stuff.
Was disappointed with one of the employees today. He was helping a customer load up an item & it would not fit into the car & he was pissed. He should have controlled his temper & asked for help in a nice way, instead of putting co- workers uneasy. Very unprofessional
The store manager Brian, at the store 963 historic Rte 66 #100 was very rude to everyone because it was close to closing time. I was going to tell him he was being rude, but he was so wound up, i thought he was going to loose it. His employees working under him were showing a much more store friendly attitude. He needs to follow their example. He needs to remember that his customers are his paycheck.
A real disappointment. I spilled something on my pants and needed dress pants quick. Everything in total disarray tossed into bins. No way to find anything in particular unless you have hours to rifle through the bins. Not worth the 5 minute drive out of our way. Whats up with Goodwill allowing this place to be run this way? Lack of volunteers/employees?
This is my favorite goodwill, the negative comments on here are honestly so 🙄, its literally a pure donation center, they take open donations, briefly look over them and put it out on the floor, you get the opportunity to see all the trash to one person that could be treasure to the next. Yes, all the things are in bins but I have seen people find laptops and really nice clothes for amazing prices and you can tell they really needed that extra opportunity. I found a film negative scanner there for $6.29 with the retail tags of $129 still on it, Ive gotten polo sweaters and dress shirts as soon as I started looking, Ive seen the employees allow tired homeless people come in and let them use the restroom or just sit for a moment to get out of the rain and snow. Please dont be so cruel and imagine some of the opportunities this place offers to ones less fortunate than yourself.
Overwhelming location. Stuff is mostly sold by weight, little to no organization, and generally a mess. There are excellent deals waiting if youre willing to dig. Staff is friendly.
The worst goodwill I have ever seen. Looks like items came from a landfill. Very unorganized, no shelves, or racks, huge bins with everything piled inside with things being shifted around and broken. Very disappointed. I love shopping at goodwill but do not recommend this location at all.
Permanently closed
Best goodwill in town. It isnt tidy but you will find some real treasures here for absolutely unbeatable prices if you visit enough. You can spend $7 on an entire cart full of items at this one.
Theres nothing that great to find here if youre looking for good quality thrift items. This feels like the place where stuff that goes unsold at the other Goodwill locations ends up at. If youre looking for super cheap items, however, this is not a bad place to look.
I all ways stop at this store when Im in town, it was a great store. Now they got lazy and put everything in huge bins and made it an outlet store. I guess I wont be stopping there anymore
This is THE MOST disgusting Goodwill store we have ever been in! We frequent Goodwill stores around the States of Arizona and California and this is by far the worst one. There has to be some sort of health code violation given the retched stench that hits you as you walk in. Not to mention the disarray and filth lined plastic crates. So very sad.
They doubled the price of VHS or they would get 5 stars....
No organization. Everything was in bins and a single bin had a totally random collection of items: a vase, a shirt, a boot, a clock.... Ive never seen a worse Goodwill and I love thrift stores!!!
Digging through unorganized bins is horrible and makes me want to bathe in hand sanitizer. It was better when things were hung up and organized.
Like to stop in once a week. Browse. Sometimes I find something awesome at a great price. Furniture, electronics. Clothes by the pound.
Charity is one thing, overpriced is another.$39.99 for an unclean, incomplete (pieces missing!), used canvas portable dog crate? If it had been $10 or $15, wed have bought it.But we bought a brand-new one for $10 more that we didnt need to repair.Youre a thrift store selling used items that people donate to you for free. Why do you need to charge near-retail for your items?
Couch for 40 bucks!?!?! My new favorite place to shop for house items place is great its different than what your used to but I believe thats what makes it cheaper to shop there
If you dont mind digging through s*** to find the gems this is an awesome place.
This is a pound store. This means they weigh what you buy and charge by the pound. Glassware is sold seperatly at a lower per-pound price. You can find good things here if you are willing to dig through the bins.
Store closed since March -Still accepting curbside donations
Things move very quickly here! As it is an outlet, most things sold by weight. This can cause some discrepancies with things (such as a childs lawn chair costing $10 by weight, etc.
Awesome stuff you need at home r find missing parts for your items.
There can be some real bargains here; its an Outlet, so on most items you pay by the pound. Take your time, search the bins thoroughly, and see how long you can stand the sound of crashing bins being thrown by shopper and employee alike. lol
Love this place found an Aquarium for only $10 its like an indoor yard sale.
Good stuff at decent prices. Store is kept clean and organized.
The bins are gross but you can find good stuff you just need to go in knowing its not tidy.
Always find great deals here is sometimes drive over just for this store
Not like other goodwill stores that Ive been to, but they provide a needed service and inexpensive goods for second hand use.
Was an awesome place until they switched it to by the pound outlet store.
Closed until further notice
Photos on Google map are either fake or 10 years old. Today, 2/16/2019, this place only has piles of bad stuff in bins on long rows of tables. I posted couple actual pictures.
Dont waste your time unless you like digging through giant bins. Worst goodwill I have ever been in. If I could give it a -5, I would.
This is the most unorganized and dirty Goodwill Ive ever been into. Everthing is all mixed together thrown into bins. Nothing makes sense and the whole store is dirty.
This store is disgusting. Im in the resale business and Ive traveled the country thrifting ... have been to more Goodwills than I can count, including other outlets. So Im not one of those ew, its used type people. But this store is without a doubt the nastiest and most disorganized thrift store Ive ever been to. I spend upwards of $300 a week thrifting, Ive never walked into a thrift store and not found one single thing worth buying until now. Literally didnt buy a single item. Such a waste of time. Luckily theres tons of other stores on my way back to Atlanta from Flagstaff.
Dirty. Everything piled up and broken. Disappointing. Not like other goodwills.
Its goodwill, pretty good prices, but wait for a sale day!
Clean store, we have some pretty nice finds from here!
Shop by the pound. A unique an interesting experience
Interesting store. First I have been to where prices were based off weight.
Pretty cool place. You can get a lot for next to nothing.
This place is awful. Just piles and bins of junk.
There is a great selection of gently used clothing at this store!
Doesnt look like the pictures anymore. Everything is in very bad looking bins
HUGE goodwill that you pay for goods by the pound! Got my daughter snow shoes for a buck!
Bins and bins of unsorted Goodwill castoffs. Never know what you might find.
This is a goodwill bin store. As such it is a bit dirty and can be hard to find things youre looking for. Keep this in mind when planning your thrift store trips.
Super nice staff
Good people doing good work
Typical Goodwill clearance center, piles of stuff in bins with an occasional gem. Except they were missing the gems. A lot of worn out Walmart junk plus worn out shoes. Books were ok.
Good place..for old books and movies
Very unorganized!! Prices are not bad though...
Store not open.
Great place for bargains on used stuff!
Strange. They weigh clothes to sell. Im from Florida and everything is on hangers and sorted. Just lots of digging if you are into it.
I come here for parts and scraps for projects, not the place to revamp a wardrobe.
Didnt bother getting anything from this branch, everythings in a bin. Very disorganized and you pay by the pound!? Go to the other Goodwill by Flagstaff Mall and you be the judge.
Not where I would want to have stuff from
Dirty, nasty smelling and nothing is separated in any form or fashion.
Its has range of things but you pay by weight on everything but big stuff
Interesting is the best way to describe it
Big items Wayyy Overpriced!!!
Always friendly and helpful.
Disgusting. Wouldnt even give one star if I could.
Great selection.
Get great deals
Lots of stuff but not well organized.
