The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt like I was in Disney World. The amount of amazing products was overwhelming in the best way.

Fairly successful. Needed a precut mat for a picture. Not many options (they are on clearance), but found something that would work. Had bought one elsewhere but the one from Joanns in red rather than the blue I bought, pulled out more in the picture.

I have never in my life been treated so harsh!! My very first time in this store was the saddest display of management skills I have ever seen!!! I was over charged and not give the respect I deserve as a hard working, tax paying American citizen. I was over charged on 3 items and paid for them. I told the young lady at the counter that the display shown 5.99 and not the 6.49 I was charged. The current Michigan state law requires that the price of most items in stores be displayed “by any method that clearly and reasonably conveys the price in the store at the place where the item is located.” If a consumer is charged more than the price displayed, the law gives them specific rights.If an automatic checkout system, such as a scanner, charges more than the price displayed for an item, the buyer has 30 days to notify the seller. The buyer must have a receipt indicating the item and price of the purchased item. This may be done either in person or in writing. Within two days of receiving notice the seller must refund the difference between the amount charged and the price displayed plus a “bonus” of 10 times the difference. The bonus cannot be less than $1 or more than $5. If the consumer has purchased several identical items at once and was overcharged on each, they are entitled to the refund of the difference for each item but can only collect the bonus once.If the seller refuses to give the consumer both the refund and the bonus, the consumer may bring a lawsuit to recover the actual damages or $250, whichever is greater, plus reasonable attorney fees up to $300. The complaint can be filed in a Small Claims Court without an attorney. In that case the attorney fees would not be applicable.Michigan’s Attorney General Bill Schuette encourages consumers who have questions about their rights or that have been a victim of a scanner pricing error to report it to the Michigan Consumer Protection Division of his office.Sooooooooo by that being said, the manager (Sam)was volatile and told me I was being very Condescending just by me asking for a refund.The whole time I felt very threatened because of her body Language and her tone, I was so polite to her the whole time and she still did not give me my bonus or, even think to look in the hand book or try to help me because she didn’t even give me a chance to explain or ask her if the rules apply. I was treated like scum and felt like I had stolen something,😪😪 just like I didn’t belong there…….. my first, my last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will see u in court if the rules apply!!!!!!!!!!

This is a lovely clean store with a great range of products. The confirmed manager Sam is very unhelpful, and a bullying angry person, I wouldn’t visit this store again in case I had to deal with her again. I asked for three lengths of fabric, she flat out refused to make more than one cut, an awful aggressive attitude, absolutely not suited to working with the public

It was unbearably hot in there. Staff was awesome. If you want business you need to make your environment comfortable. I would have spent more money if i could have handled the stifling conditions. I have breathing issues and Im sure many others do too. So when you dont address it being literally 90 degrees in the store when its in the 70s outside your giving a huge message..we dont care about our customers or our staff...

I was really disappointed in the customer sevice. I think her name was Jamie, she was very unhelpful and extremely rude. At one point stopped in the middle of helping us to help someone else. Shelves also are hard yo access and slightly disorganized. Pretty fabric tho.

This place is FANTASTIC! The layout is very blended, like one section mostly goes into another section thats different yet has a little something in common with the aisle before and after it, which makes it So Easy when youre looking for stuff needed but incredibly easier to find than other joann stores! Everyone, the entire staff, was so friendly and knowledgeable, and if they saw you looking for something without walking that way far away, theyd point you in the right direction in a snap! I was able to talk with a worker about scissors, and he brought them up front, so I went back to look for an art pen ve been needing, and the worker there said if they dont have it, I can order it from the store, still get a discount, no postage due! The checkout person, even though they were busy, showed me how to find the pen I needed to order. Unfortunately the catalog didnt even have it (!) But it was good to know you cant get green in april! All around wonderful experience with thoughtful, very helpful, very knowledgeable, kind people! If I had a car Id be there all the time! PS: I even bought watercolour pencils just because Id wanted them for over fifteen years and they had my snooty brand!! Hadnt meant to buy them, but how could I refuse such a great store and its people? You need it, they got it, if it exists. One way or another. Very nice people. Even told me where and when to catch the bus,!!! Come here for crafts and stuff, you wont be depressed! They even have all-steel heavy-duty scissors! Mine were 40% off!

It was okay and I enjoyed myself. The following day I realized I didnt have the webbing for a handle I had purchased for a tote bag I was going to make. I had spent over $60 and this uten was $5.98I called up to the store the extra day and they said they didnt have it. So I am out of luck

They have great fabric selection but prices are a little high. Almost everything is barely on sale so you cant use the better coupons from the app though. Instead of 40% off $21/yd fabric, they only offer $1 off for the sale.

Correct pricing not always available. Sale signs diplayed incorrectly. Cashier was rude and incompetent, he walked away from the register without a word and took another customer at a different register. I wouldnt shop there ever if there was a different choice.

I waited to check out. Lady before me had a pet cat. Instead of staff cashing me out she and another staff continued to talk to lady with the cat. What bothered me the most was that staff kept looking back at me instead of calling forward to cash me out. It appeared to me that the cat was more important then me.

The cashier Sonya is very nice and when we forgot something she reminded us about it and is very nice, and complemented us, its her job to be nice, but she doesnt have to be, a raise should be in order! Maybe thats a little much, but she was really nice, you should praise her, Burton Mi.

Went into Joann Fabrics and Crafts to look at a small, simple Singer sewing machine in their ad for $76. I ended up buying a different Singer for $129 because of many additional features plus the sales clerk, Becky was very knowledgeable about all the machines I looked at. I didnt realize that the sewing machines in Joanns are sold and managed by Viking. Its a separate store within a store. Nevertheless, I bought a great machine and am able to take free classes there.

First time there, no clue what I was doing but the ladies that work there kindly helped me without laughing at me lol

Will definitely be contacting Human Resources in regards to an incident that had taken place today. I can’t believe a simple return was handled so aggressively. To the point an employee named Sam, held a box cutter and pointed it towards me and called a security guard over and threatened to throw me out. I am so appalled and has to start filming the incident for my own protection and safety. Will be sending video over to HR immediately!!! I’ve never been threatened before and so sad that an employee can get away with this !! Said I used profanity and lied to her manager that she called during this incident. When I have a video I never cursed at her!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! Needs to be FIRED! She needs to be drug tested aswell because she was literally twisting the simple reason why I was there. A return! I was shorted on my order! How does she handle it? She escalated it!! The fact you pointed a box cutter at a customer!! Wow!!! Check the tapes!!!!!!

Its impossible to tell what anything costs because the real prices are hiding being a myriad of sales . A set of paints is 50 bucks but 40% off making it 30 bucks. You can find same paints on Amazon for like 15 bucks. You think your getting a good deal because its 40% off. This marketing strategy takes advantage of baby-boomers and elderly people who arent aware of how cheap things are online.

Just like any other Joanne. This location has more of a selection. However i believe things to be overpriced slightly, probably to make up for the coupon discounts they offer. Buying holiday stuff after the hokiday is also great. They have great sales on stuff.

In store, what can I say? It’s a JoAnn’s. They haven’t adjusted well to curbside pickup, however, unlike the Burton location. I prefer this one in store, but I am ordering from Burton during the pandemic. Hopefully they get it together but I don’t expect they will.

If youre into crafting this place has just about everything. The staff are very helpful with finding what you need. They have a great frame selection in the back with decent prices.

A very nice young lady helped me find some Harry Potter fabric and checked stock for any HP paper. The checkout girl was very helpful too, checking back stock for a wreath I wanted. Great experience all around I just wish they carried more cake decorating supplies.

This is a large, well stocked Joann Fabrics and Crafts. Much larger than the Burton location, it is always clean and organized.The sales and coupons are usually good, especially around the holidays.Having fabric cut doesnt usually take too long, although weekends are very busy and it takes longer then - as expected. If one goes through the week, especially early in the day usually theres only one or two people waiting for fabric cuts.

I havent been into the store in quite a while because the customer service was subpar. However my most recent interaction with customer service on July 4th was spectacular Amy at the cutting counter was extremely helpful.

We went to Joann Fabrics on Labor Day. We didnt even think about there being door buster sales.. But the place was packed. However with several cashiers stationed at the check outs, the line that I was nervous about waiting in speedily moved along! I was actually surprised how fast things went! Great discounts on summer accessories right now, but getting low on merchandise and air conditioning not working. Still love going there just wish they would clean it up and stock inventory. Every time I go in there it looks like there going to close the store soon

It was clean and I was politely greeted at the door. Other than the line taking an unnecessary amount of time due to one person working, everything was organized properly.
