I walked into the Wedding Plaza feeling very frustrated and weary. My efforts to find an elegant mother of the groom dress had not been successful. I didnt want to look matronly nor did I want a dress that a much younger woman would wear. Dawn met me at the front desk. I described the wedding details to her and she literally said she knew the dress that would work for me. She was absolutely right! I knew it was my dress before she even finished pinning to my size. I am very happy and grateful. Dawn knew what worked for my frame. She is so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and supportive. Thank you Dawn for making an older woman feel wonderful about the dress she will celebrate her sons wedding in!

After searching for my wedding gown at several Long Island stores, I went to Wedding Plaza. The owner Ron helped me find “the one.” He had done a great job with 2 friends’ weddings years ago and continued to live up to the superb reputation. Throughout the pandemic, he and his employees consistently were dedicated and caring regarding all details on attire. Each step of the way, I asked Ron for advice, and he was knowledgeable, caring and honest. We worked with Wedding Plaza for altering my gown (done beautifully and in multiple stages), finding bridesmaids’ dresses, altering my sister’s MOH dress, and renting all the men’s suits. Ron went above and beyond to make sure everyone looked their best. My husband, our dads and the groomsmen all had great experiences with the employees.

I went in as a bridesmaid to give opinions on my soon-to-be sister in laws dress. Me, the bride, and the rest of the bridal party left very disappointed. Buying a wedding dress is meant to be a magical experience and this was NOT. The woman helping us with finding a dress did not at all seem interested in her job and every time the bride liked a dress she would insert her negative opinion. Every time the bride felt that she did not like a dress, she would insert an opinion again. The only opinion that should matter is the brides, it is HER DAY!! She insisted that she would love a mermaid cut dress, after the bride insisted that she did not like fitted dresses at all. She only tried on one A Line dress which is the style she wanted in the first place!! Then another woman took me aside and tried to convince me to get the bride to try on a dress that she already stated that she did not want to try it on, insisting that “sometimes brides don’t know what looks good on them”. Surprise surprise, she did not like the dress. We ended up with an A Line dress from another bridal store, because that’s what she KNOWS she looks good in. They also tried to stuff her in smaller sized dresses and stopped pinning them after a few try-ons so we didn’t get to see how it would look fitted.Also, the place was dirty and unprofessional. The ceilings are cracking, the floors were dirty, and it did not feel like a good experience. There is also a very small selection of dresses compared to other bridal stores. There are many better stores than this.All in all, do not go here unless you want to find out what you DON’T want because the consultants are so insistent on what THEY think is good rather than what the bride wants.

My experience here as a bride was just terrible. As a bride with about 8 bridesmaids, I was hoping to have a smooth experience as wedding planning is super stressful. Unfortunately this was not the case.First, every time me or another bridesmaid came to pick up a dress, the staff could never find it! It was so unorganized of them and it’d take them forever to locate the dress which added to my stress.Second, My bridesmaids all complained about how terribly their dresses were altered. Multiple bridesmaids said their tops were too loose.Most importantly, my wedding dress altered terribly. I had to come in four times and it still was not good! The padding in the breast area was completely showing, alongside a bunch of other annoying mishaps.I wouldn’t recommend coming here for alterations, the quality is terrible and they’re highly unorganized.

Ron from The Wedding Plaza was wonderful to work with to get my daughters communion dress. He quickly recognized the dress I ordered didnt come in white but ivory and emailed me with extremely reasonable remedies for the problem. He then swiftly mailed my daughters dress and guaranteed the quality. That type of accountability in business is rare these days and was very much appreciated. The dress was, as he promised, absolutely beautiful.

Went for a Grammie of the Bride dress.Everyone was very nice but Dawn was the best.. she was so professional and helpful. Made my gown shopping experience so stress less!Would highly recommend Wedding Plaza & Dawn!

I highly recommend The Wedding Plaza for their selection of formal dresses, tuxes and accessories. The sales staff is absolutely wonderful. I didnt think Id leave with a dress that looked good, but I did and I was thrilled with my dress. The alterations staff are absolutely top notch, the best at tailoring the dresses to fit perfectly.

The bridal consultants, Shanna and Elise were wonderful. They didnt hover over you. They gave you your space. They answered all our questions. They even brought over dresses that they thought would look good and they were right. They were amazing. The owner also helped and his advise was invaluable. Our experience was great. I would suggest all brides to visit.

I am so disappointed with my dress especially on my wedding day. It was so loose on the top. The seamstress is not good.

Service was ok, some of the women working there had an attitude. Aa if we were there getting a wedding gown for free.. I pay for a dress and the good service. Work is needed on the customer service and the attitude for some

Beware!!! I was very disappointed and upset with the outcome of my daughter’s wedding gown, let me first by saying that the seamstress Carmella actually should go back to school to learn how to sew ! We had a last fitting and my daughters dress was be not fitting correctly on top she told me there was nothing she could do for it because it would only cause back fat on the back . I know this not to be true because my other daughter who had gotten her dress from Blossom in Rockville center and was fitted perfectly, as well as my daughter-in-law😡 And as if that was not enough we bought a stock dress because we only had 3 months to plan the wedding, they proceeded to give us 25% off with alterations including,, Only to pick up the wedding dress that day they wanted to charge me $600 for alterations. When we tried to dispute the charges the seamstress came up and started yelling and screaming in my face. She threatened me and that she would hold the gown. When I wouldn’t pay the alteration fees she tried to get it with the slip and charged me $600 for the slip instead of $225 which was the price of the slip. I was so upset, as well as my daughter, that this all transpired they didn’t even put her gown in a garment bag they just covered it. The girl at the front desk, Dawn, was exceptional. She tried to intervene and help out the situation but Carmelo was screaming in my face. As far as I’m concerned she’s rude she’s a crook and has no knowledge of sewing. My grandmother was a seamstress and never did I see the kind of work that I saw😡😡😡😡

After searching in 4 different bridal shops (including of course the famous Kleinfeld) I couldn’t find the perfect dress I wanted for my wedding day. I decided to give up, but was pushed to continue looking for another dress by my mom, and came across this bridal store which now I call my gem. I bought my wedding dress within the same appointment. I am beyond happy and excited for my wedding day now! I love their selection of dresses and what an amazing staff there is. The staff truly does go above and beyond to help you feel confident and happy with your decision. My fiancé (Ray) and I returned after a month of purchasing my dress to do some window shopping for the bridesmaids dresses and ended up buying his wedding suit there also. Ron is very knowledgeable with his work and you can tell he knows his style! He helped my Fiancé also pick out a suit which he loves and can’t wait to wear. Ray decided to bring his groomsmen here also and Ron helped them pick out their suits which looked best on them. The reason why this bridal shop is awesome is because you can literally get your whole bridal party outfits here. My experience with the wedding plaza has been great so far! Ron and all of the ladies there have been very sweet and accommodating. I chose my dream pronovias dress back in October 2019 for my May 2020 wedding. Due to Covid-19 we had to postpone our wedding twice! The wedding plaza was easy to work with through all the changes and is holding my dress for over a year without any additional cost. I look forward to working with the staff there for my alterations when we do get to have our wedding day!

The Wedding Plaza was AWESOME!!!I went on a Saturday morning to try on wedding dresses. Millie helped me and my crew out!They were fabulous! That morning it was my party and another party besides us. They even got in on the fun and complimented me and also helped me say yes to my dream dress!! Millie and Ron were great! I enjoyed them the most! The whole wedding plaza was a pleasure.My crew and I did not feel uncomfortable and actually felt like a family setting. We all laughed, joked and gave opinions on my dresses.I had one month to get it all together! And they helped me make it happen!THANK YOU!!!!

Everyone at the wedding plaza was super helpful. I was looking for a dress/style that they didnt carry at the time. They went out if their way to locate a loaner dress for me to see. They kept me informed about when my dress would arrive. Alterations were di e there as well. All went perfectly. By the way they now have tea length dresses on site. I went to The Wedding Plaza a month before I needed my Mother of the Groom dress. I was amazed at the collection of large size samples available to try. The staff, Ron and Milly, were great finding a dress for me. In fact, the dress I purchased was one they selected for me to try. The color I wanted was not listed but Ron called and confirmed it was available in Navy in my size. I received so many compliments on my dress I could not have been happier. My dress was delivered on the promised date. My alterations completed despite the COVID-19 schedule. Every employee I encountered was a pleasure. This is the place to go when you need a special dress.

My journey with Wedding Plaza began when I was in a Bridal Party for someone else. The service I received for simply my bridesmaids dress was memorable and I was very happy with my seamstress. I went back to find my dress and ironically, found it on a mannequin. I wanted to come back with my father, and I wanted to work with these folks! When we returned, in an unfortunate turn of events, the sample had been sold but the staff went above and beyond to get another one for when I came back into town. I reallyLoved working with Ron and Dawn and Lou Ann. True professionals, and genuinely kind people.

My experience at The Wedding Plaza was absolutely incredible. My bridal consultant, Nelly was just amazing I literally dont have the words to describe how good she was. Ive visited many bridal salons and not one consultant came close to being as good as she was. She has a keen eye for dresses that will look just right on your body. Im not tiny girl (size 14 and loving it) and Nelly picked gowns that accentuated all of my lovely curves and hid any imperfections. I had a large entourage with me and everyone said the same thing...her taste was amazing. The owner, Ron was also incredible and he even gave my friends and I champagne. I went to a few other appointments after visiting the Wedding Plaza, however I couldnt stop thinking about my experience there. I called them minutes to closing time and asked if I could come back that night. Nelly and Ron graciously accommodated me and waited for me to say yes to my dress. I cant wait for my big day. Thank you Nelly and Ron!

I took my bridesmaids to The Wedding Plaza to find their dresses. We had nothing but a GREAT time ! All of the associates were very helpful with our big group of 10 women. We all said YES to the dresses. Im also very happy with coming here because the place I got my wedding dress from is closing down, so The Wedding Plaza is allowing me to keep my dress stored at their store until my wedding date. Highly recommend this establishment!

Ron was wonderful when I was shopping for a mother-of-the-groom dress. I initially called for info about a particular dress I had seen online. Not only did he obtain the info and call me back, he also called to tell me about similar dresses as they came into the store. He took a true interest in my search, asking me to let him know my decision regardless of where I ended up buying my dress. He even put his own money in my parking meter while I was trying on dresses.

Wedding Plaza: I had a great experience at the Wedding Plaza. Just about every employee I encountered there (and there were a lot – I came back MANY times) were awesome. I found my dress at another store, and then came to a trunk show at the Wedding Plaza to try it on again. I opted for the Wedding Plaza since many people I know got dresses there, and it was closer to work for easier alterations. I’m so happy I went with the Wedding Plaza. They were able to do better on the dress price than the other store, and the alterations came out great. Carmella the seamstress knew exactly what she was talking about and really worked with me to get the dress where I wanted. I appreciated her honesty and experience. I got a ton of compliments on the dress and the fact that it “fit like a glove”. My only critique is that scheduling was a bit haphazard when it came to the fittings (rescheduling, not ready when I got there, etc.), but overall I was very happy with the experience and especially with the employees, and the owner, at the Wedding Plaza.

First and foremost, NELLY is awesome. Although, I did get scolded for shopping at Davids Bridal lol, she helped me find the dress of my dreams. I knew as soon as I walked through the doors that I would find my dress here. Nelly was EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!! She is super brutally honest about all the dresses I tried on. She tells you what looks good on you and what doesnt. I appreciated her honesty and knowledge. I must have tried on nearly 30 dresses. She gave me the honest truth about each dress. This helped me tremendously on narrowing down my dresses to about 5. if you are in doubt, go to Nelly. She will not steer you wrong. Prices were reasonable. Staff was amazing. Although, there were other brides here, the staff did not ignore anyone. Everyone felt catered too. I will definitely be sending my bridesmaids and groom here as well. If I ever get married again, I will definitely be buying a dress from here again.

The staff is so friendly helpful. Ron is awesome. I ordered my dress here but tried it on at a different boutique. My fiancé and his friends also rented their tuxedos here as well. They could use more plus size selection though other than that its been a great experience

Weve visited this Bridal Salon twice and both times it was a great experience. The consultants are wonderful and listen to what YOU want, they are friendly and attentive. If you reach out to them by email, they get back to you immediately. We were looking for one specific dress and they were the only store on long island to have it. Theyve also got a great selection bridesmaids, MOB & flowergirl dresses. I would recommend this salon to anyone!!!!!!

I was calling around the country looking for my dream wedding dress at a cost I could afford. The Wedding Plaza gave me a great deal. Working with them over the phone and e-mail was simple and easy. Ron has great customer service. I received my dress in the mail as expected with no issues and it was gorgeous just like I remembered. I would definitely recommend them.

I’ve visited several different bridal stores and decided once I met everyone at the Wedding Plaza that that was where I wanted to purchase my dress. The customer service alone sold me as I knew I would be working closely with everyone in the store. I found the perfect dress there and I could not be happier. We purchased the bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl dress and rented groomsmen tuxedoes.Ron and everyone there are such great people. They really care about each individual customer and give you all the time in the world that you need to make any decision. I would recommend them to anyone. They all became family to me. I was married on August 16th 2019. The Wedding Plaza was amazing. I was able to get everything I needed to include a stunning wedding dress, gorgeous brides maid dresses and even the tuxedos for my husband, groomsman and my ring boy. Dawn even came to my home on the day of my wedding and did my makeup. All I can say is I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Ron and the wedding Plaza family. I felt like Princess!!

Great customer service. They carry a wide variety of designers gowns. They do wedding gowns, bridesmaid gowns, Mother of the Bride/Groom gowns, flower girl/communion dresses, tuxedos, jewelry, special occasions dresses, all the accessories you need as a bride and they do on the spot alterations. Great prices and again all the woman and few men that work there are all wonderful!!!

The Wedding Plaza is the place to go for your wedding dress.I had the absolute worst dress shopping experience until I went to the Wedding Plaza. I was feeling defeated, and had tried on what seemed like 10,000 dresses. After a while, they all started to look the same. The owner, Ron, is really just the nicest and most helpful person I have met throughout this wedding planning process. He tracked down and ordered me a dress from a designer that his store doesnt even carry, because I had tried it on somewhere else (a place with terrible service and rude employees), and knew Id be happy if I ordered from him. He was extremely responsive via email, and has continued to be very hands on as I begin my fittings.I cant say enough good things about Ron and The Wedding Plaza, so Ill sum it up: GET YOUR DRESS HERE!

We went here for bridesmaids dresses only originally, however, after talking to Christine I decided to try on wedding dresses. The staff there for our wedding attire needs were all fabulous! Karen was great whenever we called and knew our whole bridal party. Nelle (I think thats her name), was such also really accommodating and helpful. I definitely felt comfortable and that I was in good hands there. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for gorgeous dresses with a helpful and pleasant staff.

I stumbled upon the Wedding Plaza because I was determined to find Shamrock green bridesmaids dresses ... I called many places who all said they could order them but I wanted to actually see the color before ordering it for all of my bridesmaids dresses. The Wedding Plaza had the sample of designer/color/style that I had my heart set on, and I am SO GRATEFUL for that!! From the minute I walked in, the staff was helpful, available and accommodating. Ron is just the best!! I wish I had found the Wedding Plaza sooner (I had already bought my wedding gown but I wish I could have given Ron the business). I LOVED my experience ordering bridesmaids dresses there. I found my veil there, too! And it was affordable! Ron was always willing to help me and make it happen!

I had made a late appointment for mother of the bride dress I had messaged them / call them for an early appointment they said yeah come on Inn I came in even earlier than that and it took me right away the saleswoman who I had which at the moment I dont recall her name sorry was fabulous everyone in the shop was fabulous I recommend them 100% from the bride bridesmaids to mother of the bride mother of the groom havent gotten my dresses yet because the wedding is not until December of 2020

Everyone at The Wedding plaza was friendly and super helpful. Lisa patiently helped my daughter find her wedding dress, and was as excited as my daughter was when she found the perfect one. Everyone was just as helpful in helping me find my mother of the bride dress- not an easy task for someone as critical as I am! I would definitely recommend The Wedding Plaza to any bride. They wont let you down!

Didn’t expect to but I purchased my wedding dress here. They have a beautiful selection of dresses. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I worked with Millie and Ron who helped me with my options. Highly recommend!

The Wedding Plaza had some great choices. Pronovias had a trunk show on 1/31 and the first dress I tried on was the one that I left with. Great customer service & super helpful!!!

The staff members at The Wedding Plaza were very professional and helpful. Nelly made it a point to check in with me everytime I came in for a fitting with alterations. She did an excellent job in helping me to find my dress and adding finishing touches to customize my attire. I am beyond satisfied with the service I recieved, the way I was treated and the way my dress and veil were taken care of. I would recommend The Wedding Plaza to any bride currently in the process of wedding planning.

Everything about my experience at The Wedding Plaza was absolutely amazing! The store is beautiful and has a great selection of bridal, bridesmaid, and mother of the bride gowns. My sister, my mom, and I all got our gowns here for my sisters wedding, as well as all the bridesmaids. We all had nothing but good things to say about Ron, Carmela, and the rest of the staff. They all went above and beyond to make sure our dresses fit well and to make sure we were happy. They helped to make our experience easy and stress free. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back!

Ron is amazing and the girls are all pleasant. Gave us a good discount as we bought A LOTTTT of bridesmaids dresses between my friend and myself and they will ship to bridesmaids ANYWHERE which is amazing because not every store does that and I personally had bridesmaids all over the country and out of the country also!

Omg they are so amazing and sweet!! I enjoyed their service. They did a great job on altering my dresses. I was pregnant and had six weeks till my wedding .Although it was a sample dress, it was great!! Thanks Ron and team. And for working out the price 👍

I was worried that during this pandemic I wouldnt be able to order my dress and was concerned about the hassle of doing it online. Ron made things extrememly easy and was beyond helpful.

I ordered my tuxedo from Ron. It was easy and came in on time. What amazed me was the quality of the suit. It looked brand new.

Some of the best staff there is and every time I get an article of clothing back I absolutely no complaints. Perfect fit!

Very nice place. I would recommend this store. I did not find my dress here though because I think I was overwhelmed by family and unsure of what I really wanted. I appreciated how LuAnn and the other women shared their opinions and made me feel comfortable.

Went here 2 days before my daughters sweet 16 for her 2nd dress everyone was helpful and friendly we got her dress at a huge discount they had it altered and ready for us the next day... highly recommended
