I will never order from this place again. Ordered a bed in early part of June 2020. Was told it would be here in 2 weeks. The 3rd week I called said it wasnt in. So took until end of July to get it. Then went and picked it up. My family put it together for me. To find out not the right size. I have called left messages. Then they dont return calls. Then when you finally talk to John. Hes Ill have to check on this and Ill call you back. He doesnt always return calls. So called a week ago said he would call me before the end of day. Guess what still waiting for him to return my call. Im one ticked off customer. He needs to learn customer service. Fix my problem now. All they have to do is order longer bed rails. But that must be to hard for them to do.

I cant say enough great things about J & L Furniture!!! They have so many unique pieces. My husband and I bought all new furniture for our new house and we looked all over at the big box stores. We found a few things we liked but we would have settled on those. As soon as we walked into J & L we knew where wed be buying our furniture! There was absolutely NO pressure! We spent almost 4 hours there picking out things. The material selection was almost overwhelming - so many options. We ordered everything but a bedroom set (we found 2 at the big box stores we liked). I wanted to buy it from J & L so we found the manufacturer and John was able to order it and match the price. Everything was delivered in the expected time frame. Weve been so happy with the service we now refer to John as Uncle John!!😁

We have been purchasing furniture as well as a variety of accessories from J & L for almost 20 years now. The service from the owners is remarkable. Their merchandise is high quality and I have found their prices to be better than any of the other furniture or department stores. You can find a variety of items in their show room and if what you are looking for is not available in their show room they can usually find it for you through one of their many catalogs. They are also very helpful in giving suggestions; if your not quite sure of the material or color that would work best they can help you with your selections. I highly recommend J & L.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with J & L Furniture. I attempted to purchase new bedroom furniture for my son after he recently purchased his first home. We went to J & L and picked out furniture the second week of November and the owner told us it would be 4-6 weeks, which would put it around the week of December 16th. After we heard no update from the owner at the 6th week mark, we called and he said that the furniture distributor was closed from 12/23-1/3, so he could not check on a delivery date but it was very likely that the furniture was on its way. Sounds reasonable, and the owner said he would give us an update first thing on Monday. The owner never called on Monday, we called him at 5:45 and he said he would call back in an hour and of course never did. They are closed on Tuesday so we did not hear anything although I left an urgent message. I called at 11:30 on Wednesday and the owner said their phone line were out on Monday which was why he did not call back and he was just getting to messages on Wednesday. He confirmed he would check on the order and get back in 2 hours which he did to say he did not have an update. 45 minutes later he called to say that for some reason the order could not be found or was never received from J & L. At this point you can imagine our frustration and instead of apologizing profusely and giving us options in order to make this right, he simply says I dont normally do this but I suggest you cancel your order and I will refund the deposit that I have kept since November. I call to give him my credit card number and all he says is I will process the credit as soon as possible. I will never do business with J & L or recommend them to anyone, which again is unfortunate given my sons millennial friends are all starting to buy houses and need to fill them with furniture.

Love this local small business. I have bought a couple pieces from them. Everything is top notch quality. Some of you need to realize that because they are a small family owned business they do not have a huge warehouse with piles of furniture laying in wait for the entitled and impatient. They tell about the wait and why but you still complain and desecrate their business online to potential customers. If you were a small business owner you would understand how this works. Feed your family or buy miscellaneous inventory that you may or may not sell. If you want a quick piece of cheap made furniture, go to a large store. You will buy two more before my quality piece wears out. Waste your time instead of having patience and a little respect and you get what you deserve.

Over the years, I have bought several items from this small family owned business. These items include a couch, end tables, a coffee tables, bedroom furniture, area rugs, and chairs for our bar. Everything was of excellent quality and was reasonably priced.I have also used their professional design services and have been very happy with the color and fabric suggestions that were made for me.They have excellent and professional customer service.They are my go to when I need something for my home.

I have been purchasing furniture from J & L for a few years now. They are very helpful in giving suggestions and I have very high quality furniture for a more affordable price. I was able to purchase the same leather chair from the restoration hardware catalog for a much cheaper price. I highly recommend J & L and will be going to them to purchase all my furniture for my new house.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with J and L Furniture. I ordered a custom sofa and leather chair on July 27,2019. After 4 long months with one excuse after another it was delivered on November 19th with the sofa delivered in the wrong color. I would call requesting an update on the sofa and calls would not be returned. We had to take the sofa back to the store ourselves to get the monies returned on Jan 13, 2020. Almost 6 months and still no sofa! Needless to say I would never buy anything else there or recommend it to anyone.

John and Linda are absolutely great to work with. They have by far some of the best prices for full living rooms and dining rooms. They are also able to do interior design work and have someone come out to your house and help you decide whats best. Best furniture store in Northern KY!

What a great place to get that special piece of furniture that everyone talks about when they come to your house. Also, they get the best price possible for you. I have been biting from them for years and so had my Dad. The owner is very hands on and will bend over backwards to help you!

John does a great job of helping with all questions and the furniture brands they carry are such high quality. I highly recommend!

Never again. I want to support small businesses but small businesses cant lose sight of their number one priority, customer service. I went to them when I bought my first house looking for a good quality couch. The representative was very nice and helped us find exactly what I was looking for. Upon purchasing this $2,000 couch he notified me that I will not only have to wait 4-6 weeks for my couch (and he emphasized that it could go right to the 6th week) but that I would have to pay $125 for it to be delivered. Both pieces of information that would have been very handy to know up front. But where they lost my patronage forever is how I did not get my couch until 8 weeks later and only because I called them about it. Turns out they have to have a minimum order with their supplier before they will ship everything and that minimum was not met and they were not aware until I told them I was waiting on my order at the 6 week mark. All of this still could have been salvaged but I got no apology and perhaps they could have paid for the very late delivery themselves but I was still expected to pay for the 2 week late delivery of my couch at $125. So with that in mind I will never support them again and I let all my friends know to avoid this place.

Looking for a new couch. Owner was very pleasant and offered lots of assistance and info.

My experience is identical to never agains......i waited 6 months for a replacement die to shipping damage with zero communication. I had to keep calling and at one point he remembered that he forgot to place the order!! Poor customer service after the sale is an understatement.

Great folks to work with in a difficult time ! They were great help picking out and making suggestions on our furniture. They kept us up to date on the shopping of the furniture.

John and Linda were amazing! With Covid delays, etc. they went above and beyond to keep us posted on our furniture. Quality of furniture they supply is top-notch. We love visiting their store. Cheers to J & L Furniture!
