Absolutely disgusting restrooms. Pilots usually are pretty reliable for clean, functioning restrooms. The trash in the stalls were overflowing. To the point it seemed like a biohazard. So be prepared to carry feminine products out to the main trash outside the stalls if need be. Those are also full, though. So trash is literally just piled on the counter. There was trash and toilet paper all over the floors as well. Seemed like the restrooms hadnt been cleaned in days. The LARGE toilet paper roll was also just balanced on the grip bar not even put in the dispenser. Very difficult to use.

This has been our familys stop for years. It used to busy non-stop and well maintained. However the last few times weve stopped, it has been sketchy, with people knocking on windows or approaching travelers including ladies alone, asking for money, cigarettes, or food. Tonight the people going car to car then went over to another car talking real quiet and nodding toward cars. The workers inside have been advised multiple times during our visits. Nothing really changed. Guess well find a new stop.

This Place is FILTHY!! Can hardly stand up in the parking lot at the pumps because of all the spilled fluids on the ground. Pump Could NOT be SLOWER! Trash is full, Washer fluid empty. I remember coming here in the spring for the Darlington race and having a bad incident here, can’t recall what it was. to be honest, everything office exit is just dirty and nasty. I think it’s a people/culture problem here. BUT, PILOT is better than this, Do Better!

LU WAS MY CASHIER AND I MUST SAY THAT JUST PASSING BY THIS STATE I WAS GRATEFUL THAT THIS YOUNG LADY WAS KIND AND RELIEVED SOME STRESS FROM THE THOUGHT OF THE LONG TRIP AHEAD 😊 It’s 2:51am and I’ve been on the road for about 4 hours now. I stopped for gas and a snack.

Very rude people working, not helpful at all. Asked for a gas receipt and was told their system was down. I asked how I was able to get fuel then.... no answer. Would never visit again during my driving for halling equipment and cars.

Came here at 10:30 pm on September 30th and paid with a $20 bill and got my correct bill amout back and the lady then said we dont have 64 cent have a good night. Is this common practice to keep customers change? When they add her register up at the end of the night and she keeps all the change how many hundreds of dollars over is that in an 8 hour shift? Does she keep the money? Thats almost like a scam!

If i could give no stars i would. On 9/29/21 currently at 05:10am, the subway worker claims she is on her 30 min break. Ive been waiting since 04:32am. Now as i driver im pretty certain of what 30 minutes is and even tho i could take my money elsewhere i currently cannot due to being brokedown. Now she never acknowledged me, i had to ask did she see me and im still standing in front of the place. Now if your on break, why are you stocking up everything? and im the only one waiting. Its not even busy in here. Do better subway or at least try to hire more enthusiastic employees. Her name is Eve, from my understanding

Trash…nothing to eat. Half of anything that was there was out of order. And apparently subway don’t have no eggs at breakfast time? I’ll gladly walk a mile to Hardee’s instead. Do better

Arrived in the evening and wanted to take a shower. The young male with braids was telling the female that he wasn’t cleaning the showers and they went back and forth about it. Another driver came in and asked him if he’d cleaned a shower yet and he said yes, the driver asked which one and he said all of them but I should have gave it to someone else. They were completely out of towels. The male left leaving the female there alone and she said someone was supposed there soon. No toilet paper. My husband tried finding cleaners from the 2 carts sitting in the hallway to clean one to use but only found a small amount. We went and got our own towels. Almost all the sodas were out and no ice on one side. Taco Bell was also out of ice and sodas. Worst location we’ve been in. Management needs a overhaul.

When Im travelling I love to stop at this Pilot location, exit 164 Lucas Rd, Florence. Today it was a bit crowded because they were doing construction so it was hard to get in and out for the gas pumps and into the store. Inside the bathrooms are normally clean making it a good place to stop. The associates are friendly. It is a great place to stop while for snacks, to stretch your legs, to take a break and refresh yourself.

Not a bad location. Having both Subway and Taco Bell, it tends to get a little crowded, so expect the lines to be a little longer. Food was fast and well done. Standard Pilot truck items. Seemed clean and orderly.

This place is so dirty and the showers are always dirty, i took 2 times shower un this facility both times i got dirty un cleaned showers. Pilot must start inspecting all pilot truck stops for safety and cleanest.

Was told the whole parking lot was prime parking by employee. He tried to make me leave. This place is hideous. If you’re gonna be a place for drivers to rest and reenergize, you need to make sure your employees kno what’s going on. The whole lot isn’t for paying. And on top of that no tissue in showers we pay for. Or no food in restaurants. Do better

The coffee machines at pilot are terrible! Supposed to brew each cup on demand. Frequently dont work and the coffee is terrible. Im sure it is a labor saving change. Weve tried many on our thousands of miles travelled this past year, well now go elsewhere for our gasand coffee.

This location is terrible. When I use to pass through here a couple of years back, it was nice. Now, It has literally gone down hill. Showers are nasty. Customer service is bad except for the one guy (sorry dnt know name).

Gas pumps are really sloooooooooow....like took me 24 minutes to pump 9 gallons.

Stopped here to get fuel and coffee. Had two guys hound me for money as soon as I stepped out of my truck. Watched them go from one end of the fuel island to the other. This was the second time Ive had to deal with these two at the same location. Went inside to get my receipt and coffee and the coffee counter was in a complete mess. Paper towels on the floor, spilled coffee all over the counter and floor. NO coffee left to get a cup. This place is a disaster!!

Reserve a parking got a receipt but no parking went back to see manager but dint want to refund me.dot not dessinfect they are not aware of covid

The worst pilot we have ever visited . the bathroom was dirty . getting screamed at for asking for coffee creamer. having to wait for employees to finish conversation to get items purchased. hearing subway employee screaming and being rude to customer trying to order.the nicest part of my experience was leaving gas station

I have been driving a truck for 13 years and have never seen a pilot as horribly disgusting as this one. they dont clean hideously upset workers.

Really good food in the surrounding area makes it one of the premier pilots on 95. Gotta get in early but the restaurant and nearby Starbucks make it a favorite.

I got here at noon and went inside to use the restroom and get a bite to eat. The food and service from Subway was good, but the rest of the store was definitely lacking. The restroom was in serious need of attention and when I went back inside 5 hours later, there was even a bigger, nastier mess in the restroom. Nothing had been touched in the five hours! I was tempted to call it to the attention of the ladies behind the counter, but from the mess around the rest of the store, I am sure they wouldnt have cared that much. From the other reviews it sounds as though my experience is not really the normal at this location, so I will have to put it on the staff that is here today. ( I went back inside for a shower and coffee this morning hoping that, with change of shift, that I would see something different. No such luck. Only 1 shower was ready, the other four doors stood open, needing cleaned and shower number 1 has a broken shower head, with the handicap hose just hanging down, leaking all the time. There was water all over the floor, a bar of soap on the floor, trash in the can, and yellow in the toilet bowl. I can say that, once I figured out the trick to getting the water on, it was plenty hot. However, the faucet on the sink leaks so my clean pants got wet from sitting on the counter top. I decided on coffee, but no luck there..the area was dirty and pots were empty of coffee. Only a couple large cups, and no sugar, artificial or otherwise. The maintainence was moping but had the floor soaking wet with soapy water, a fall hazard if I ever saw one. I used to stop here all the time, one of my favs, but I think this will be our last visit. ) I changed my rating from two to one stars, with only the hot water and the Subway as the redeeming factors.

Inside of Piolet I visited Subway, the woman who worked behind the counter was very nice. She worked quickly and got all my sandwiches made and me checked out as quick as possible. My husband went through Piolet and got us snacks. The man at the register seemed nice. But was clearly very distracted.

This Pilot was small but was only getting gas and coffee. Employees were very nice.

Not sure why, but this place has become my regular stop when traveling up and down 95. It is clean, pumps are usually oacked with lines. But the prices make it worth the wait. The staff has always been friendly.

Very convenient because there is a Cinnabon and a Subway restaurant in same location. Also convenient because its right across the street from like 5 hotels.

Wanted to shower, after getting my shower on the app and being 3rd in line for and hour I decided to go in. Went in only to find out the showers werent cleaned and apparently its not her job to clean them. After a bit she comes and tell me I can take a certain shower room, when I went back there I counted 4 roaches so I just couldnt do it... Ill never be back here again. Cringy

My safety was at risk at this center, despite there being a sign upon entering stating that masks are mandatory. Apparently the employees at this Pilot location don’t value their customers by enforcing this. Very disappointing. When travel is required in the middle of a pandemic, it would be nice to be able to rely on a company when needing to stop that takes health & safety seriously. I’m not sure I’ll trust any Pilot location after experiencing this.

Everything is messed up here. I had to stop here for second time, and they dont have team shower again . They say that they dont know how to give a team shower. People are rude. Pilot app dosent work here. Shower code is not working. If you want the truck drivers to come here and to fuel for couple hundred dollars again, you need to fix your store issues, that really frustrating for tired drivers

Place is going out of business. Cold coffee, no creamers, no hot drinks, dirty bathrooms. They are closing their doors.

I stop here a lot on my way from Greensboro,NC to Charleston,SC. Good gas prices for a major transfer in direction area. And as we all know I already love Taco Bell so its a must stop for me!

I should have gone to the Petro a few miles north. Shower 4 had no cold water. Its 100° in the low country humidity and Ive untarped and unchained before coming here. The last thing I want is to be sweating after the shower. The shower nob was turned so I tight I had to struggle to get the water turned on. There were poop stains in the toilet and the towels smelled moldy. Not to mention the WiFi DOESNT work here either. Isnt there some truth in advertising requirements?

No clean towel they could not even do a simple print and copy for my Bol. This is a bunch of non customer service experience I ever had . This my last time coming back here!

Wheelchair accessible. Super busy place. Clean restrooms, cheap gas, hot showers, snacks and Mini Cinnabon right at the entrance. Smells amazing! Good luck getting past them without buyin any.

Pump was slow and horrible design for anything as far as towing. If you are RVing and use gas (not diesel) do not come here.

They have signs posted on the door stating Masks are Required, however that is a lie they are telling their customers because when asked a manager they dont actually follow this policy.Had I not have been tricked, and lied to, to come and shop in this store I would have made the better decision for me, however that was taken from me by this companies lies

I enjoy going to Pilot South Carolina especial when it is off the interstate Hwy and open 24/7. Very convenient to have Taco Bell, Subway & Gas trucking convenient store. The employees are friendly!

On the roller grill, they had hot dogs over cooked still up for sale. I grabbed the 2 hot dogs and showed staff- woman there said overly cooked my question is, why werent the hot dogs removed earlier. The hot dogs were food poisoning!!

Staff is Great! Location great, Subway & Taco Bell great. BUT The ladies restroom -FAIL- urine on seats in 3 of 4 stalls, nasty. A traveler should not have to carry a toilet disinfection kit with them into a Pilot restroom. We have come to expect and generally find cleanliness at Pilot.

If you dont want to waste time, never stop here, bad service, terrible, no cream, no coffee, bad cleaning, no soap in the bathroom, OMG fatal

Pilot and FlyingJ are truck stops owned by the same family and they provide trucker (including DEF) and car/SUV services. Select FlyingJs offer Rv services including propane and dump stations.This was a typically good Pilot. I use a credit card I get through Good Sams that discounts my diesel, gives coffee discounts and offers specials in both stores. With great service, they are by far the best Rv Stop on the highways.

I told the gal at the Taco Bell register I didnt want sour cream: she kept repeating my order and adding sour cream to it. Im allergic to additives that is in sour cream, I wouldnt think I would have to tell her all of that just to stress that I didnt want any sour cream on anyting. I left with my order to find out sour cream is on all of it. WTF. Not going call anybody name out ijs that chick was messed up. Yup! It gets deep when you start playing with mine or anyones Free Will.

I have been driving for 26 years, this is the worst Pilot I have ever been to. All stalls in the restrooms where out of toilet paper. Also out of pilot house coffee, employees are rude and dont care.

Nasty bathrooms! Out of 4 stalls in the ladies room, only 1 was useable & that one had a crooked toilet seat. Always liked to stop at this Pilot for the area, so it is a shame they can’t keep working bathrooms for paying customers!

Went to taco bell and the meat was dried out and tasted old. The rice was hard like it was still raw. Very dissatisfied

One of the better truck rest stops. Plenty of parking. Fairly clean. Well organized. For the amount of foot traffic it had the men bathroom was fairly clean and didnt reek of urine like some other places. If you need to stop for gas, to stretch your legs, or use the bathroom then this is a decent place.

Lots of spots, as a friendly request, you may take care a little bit with truck parking lot. The rest is perfect. I spent whole night and took a good shower in a clean bathroom and good rest.Thank you to all guys.

Its a storage lot for locals.Row spacing makes backing a 53 under a truck with a sleeper pretty difficult, youll probably have to slide your tandems forward and check your tail swing to squeeze in.Not worth it in my opinion.

Well the employees are super friendly and helpful. The automotive side fuel pumps are always packed. There is limited parking so customers often leave their car at the pump to do their shopping. There are only two diesel nozzles on the automotive side which are combined with a gas pump on the same island. We pulled up today and the diesel on one side had a bag over the handle so there was only one diesel available. There was an unattended car parked at the gas pump that had the only working diesel nozzle so we waited for over 10 minutes for him to return, which he finally did with Subway bag in hand then we had to wait for him to pump $30 in gas while the bed of our truck is hanging out into the driveway (actually there were at least three unattended vehicles - the car in front of us, the red car/SUV to our left, and the truck to our right, all had to disappear for groceries while at the pump). Then the pump couldnt read the card so I had to go inside and the readers inside didnt work much better (cashier said it would decline the chip a few times then I need to swipe). Someone commented fastest pumps in their review - the diesel pump was super slow, I should have timed it. It took forever to get $90 in the truck (would have gotten more but had to prepay because readers dont work). It is like this any time we visit, different times of the day and whether buying gas or diesel. We have also come through in the past and not want to deal with it and left without buying fuel or supplies, especially when pulling the travel trailer or 18 trailer as there is little room to wait and not be in the way. In the past we have bought Cinnabons that were raw and threw them out. Not wanting to chance it, we got the minis which were in the case, not preboxed. They were warm and good. That time we stopped in for the raw Cinnabons, we visited about 3x over a 10 hour period and there was a panhandler always to the left of the door every visit (she was not there today). Bathrooms are old and we have visited in the past when bathrooms were out of order. Location needs to be updated with more bathroom stalls and better parking. My husband is a retired trucker so I know you need to cater to truckers, not really the general public, contractors with utility trucks, or RVers in motorhomes or pulling trailers, but this location is always a hassle to visit no matter what we drive in.

All the pumps were pumping slow and one of the pumps wasnt working and they had trash bags taped over it. It was packed. Went across the street to the Mobil to get gas. Mobil is a much better, cleaner, bigger station. Got food from Taco Bell. Told them no tomatoes and it looks like they put extra tomatoes on our food. We wont be going there for gas or food again!

Manger was really rude to mew girl in my self need help the lady ask for her help went in the office closed the door and she heard for her asks her response I’m busy that not very polite 2 time lady ask for service had a line walk by twice still didn’t try to help her what kind of Gm is she sad

Bathrooms were absolutely foul... Cigarette prices were great! Someone pooped in the shower and you could smell it all over the store and the cashier was bieng slow and admitted it so she wouldnt have to clean it up. I dont blame her but however thats a health hazard.... 🤮

Bettina was an absolute pleasure, she is funny, she holds her confidence and patience very well I thank you for having happy people working here, I know from experience working in a C store can be stressful but today was a nice stop and at clean and welcoming store.

There is cheap gas to be had here in a convenient location as well as fast food and convenience items, but this is a small and crowded Pilot location with subpar service.

This place is the worst Pilot I have ever visited, the so called GM & Area Manager have no clue about how to run the staff or the store, they do not know how to run the registers, let alone anything else, plus the GM looses her temper and gets LOUD with customers, they both need to be replaced, I SUGGEST THAT ANY TRAVELERS DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION, UNTILL THE GM & AREA MANAGER ARE GONE. I GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS, but to post this, I had to give it 1 star.

Easy access with lots of choices. Food took a while but it was worth it. Friendly service too!

Used the app for a parking spot. When I got there all of the spots were full. It took the manager 1 1/2 hrs to get someone to go out to check the lot. They only let male employees do this. But, she had him cleaning showers so he couldnt do it right away. By the time he came out the entrance to the fuel line was blocked by people parking where ever they wanted. Drivers had to drive over the scale to get to fuel.Someone needs to do something about these drivers that dont follow the rules. Also maybe they need more then 1 male employee at night.

Great visit as usual. Just thought it was weird that every employee was wearing a mask, but not a single one of them was wearing it correctly. You know an upper respiratory virus and not covering the nose.

It was a nice stop. My wife said the ladies room was nasty. We told the cashier, hopefully theyll take care of it.Great gas prices, and there was a Subway and, more importantly, a Taco Bell! The burritos were fantastic.
