I go into this place about every day a NEVER complain about the horrible service and high prices but today took me over the limit...the lady who was working by the office ( short gray hair ) was rude.The lady who was working the self checkout wasnt friendly when I told her a dessert ( strawberry shortcake ) I had purchased last week, was stale and old. I was going to get another but upon her being awkward when I asked if they would do anything, she finally said just take it and turned and walked away.wow! I didnt take it but thats no way to do business...

Expensive.Especially when you are forced to do the work of a cashier/bagger.I HATE having to have a card to get discounts, again, especially when you are forced to do the work that they normally pay someone to do.And their coolers are hit or miss if they are actually keeping the product cold. Primarily the one that the pre package salad is in.But the store is really clean and convenient for me.

The store is great. The parking lot can be a little shady.Be careful ladies. This has been a while ago, but I putting my groceries in the car and a strange couple pulled up beside me. The man jumped out of his car and was practically on top of me asking if I needed any help, Which I clearly did not. The woman was in the passenger side and she looked insane. My cart was in between me and the man so i threw my groceries in quickly and used it as a barrierI felt in my gut that he was going to do something. I backed the cart up and got in my car on my passenger side and quickly locked the doors. He got in his car and they quickly drove out of the parking lot. I tried to get the license plate number but there was another car in the way. I should have reported it.

Would be great experience if the tight wad family would keep the business going. Been shopping there since 1995. Great people, great competitive pricing. They were our family too, and now that dads gone they dont care. Its a sad shame on them. Some of us still believe in mom and pop stores and stay loyal. Wish they could say that to their customers.

The checkout employees are always extremely helpful and very friendly.

I wouldnt reccomend buying any sort of meat from here. The ground beef and steaks Ive gotten recently look decent on the outside but when you flip them over theyre gray or brown and smell like rotten cottage cheese. Definitely would buy any meat from here.

Just started shopping at Remkes. Im impressed with the cleanliness and selection. Most items are a little more expensive compared to Kroger but they have amazing sales to make up for it. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Im happy to pay a little more for better service.

Very nice and clean store with a good selection. The sale prices are good, just make sure you get a rewards card. The store brand items that we got were nice quality. The only but is that some items had a higher than we preferred. If you also have a Speedway rewards card, make sure that you get it linked with your Remake card. This was our first trip there and we do plan to go back.

I had to run in to get some fried chicken for a late dinner after the movies with my niece. They were getting ready to close, but the gentleman in the deli was able to get me a 12 piece box of chicken to go. Great customer service.

Great Value family grocery stores. I wish everyone knew how great a community neighbor they have always been! I shop where those companies assist in building and being the community. Thank you Remkes Markets for being there for our community since you opened your doors.

Prices are a little higher than the competition and I dont care for the way the store is laid out. Ill give credit for an ever-expanding gluten free section, though. And produce always looks good and fresh.

You cant beat Remke for an old-time, corner market feel. The employees are pleasant and helpful, the store is clean & well-stocked, and the produce department is unbeatable in selection and freshness. Also, their deli department is superior to every store in the area. I wish there was one closer to the Union area.

Place has an excellent salad bar. Today it was incomplete. I drive out of my way for the salad bar. I ask the lady behind the desk why the salad bar was just half down. She replied that someone probably didnt come in. So the way I see it is that the customer has to suffer when someone doesnt show up and that management is Ok with this. I will no longer go to this store.

Not as great a selection as other Remke stores, and dont try to order online ahead of time. I couldnt find the most basic things on the site when I was trying to do so. Bright spot in the deli, the crew is fantastic!! I love them. But all in all, its convenient as far as placement and crowd control, but youre better off at the Kroger give minutes down the road. If you are willing to fight for a parking spot, lol.

By far one of my favorite stores ever! Always friendly and they all make what some consider a chore, shopping, a pleasure. I know the store so well that I could shop blindfolded and still find everything.I know most of the employees by name, and call them all Sunshine. Susan is one of our favorites, and Lisa always has a smile and a professionalism that makes her a one of a kind.The young men that work there are always friendly and professional. You do not see kids that take pride in what they do that much anymore so management should be proud of how well they are grooming, and producing Future Leaders and great employees.I could go to Kroger where maybe I could save a few bucks, but wouldnt because not one of the Employees, or a lower price, would come close to my friends at MY REMPKE!

I prefer Kroger, but this was more convenient as I was in a hurry and it was on my route. If I had known the store better, I think I would have had a better experience.

Remkes staff is always so kind and helpful. The shelfs are always stocked so youll never have to worry about them running out of your favorite items! Their salad bar has everything you could ever want and it is inexpensive!

They have a decent selection of items, not great but decent. Also they are EXPENSIVE, even with a store card. My dads called them Reamers since I was a kid for a reason. Ive had scenarios where 3 and 4 dollar items at Kroger were double that at Remke. They must be doing something incredibly well in some other aspect of the grocery business because they are not reasonably priced on most items.

I feel that Remkes is way overpriced. The store isnt in very good shape, not very well lit and I can go almost anywhere else and pay less. This is the closest grocery store to my house but I prefer to drive farther and pay less for my groceries.

Everyone is helpful and very friendly. They say hello and goodbye, its a real community store for the people. Yes, the prices are alittle higher here, but the ambiance and special attention you receive, is well worth a few cents!

Nice family owned business, selling fresh groceries. The produce is the best around. They sell it at peak time of ripeness. Remkes has the best sales for produce and pork loin.

This is a fine grocery store, though somewhat more expensive than some others nearby. I go here because they stock things that Kroger does not. The loaded baked potato salad in the deli is very good.

The prices arent great and the selection is limited. I strongly recommend going to Kroger instead if youre going grocery shopping. The staff is definitely only there to do the absolute minimum required and clearly doesnt care about their job. During my visit they were making their usual mediocre popcorn that was then forgotten about mid process and left to burn and smoke which caused the entire checkout area to smell horribly.

Nice store to pick up a few items. Not a super big superstore so its not a marathon walk to pick up what you need. Good deli, bakery and fried chicken.

Self check outs are nice and easy to get in and out quickly. Staff is helpful. Good selection of produce. Decent selection on other food items as well.

Decent prices. We only stopped in to grab a few things. Were from out of town so we didnt have a discount card and they went ahead and scanned a card for us anyway, plus added a coupon for one of the items we bought. We did notice some of the produce was a tad pricey, but not the most expensive weve ever seen.

Ive been to Remke markets over off of Turfway the store As Nice the employees when they help you they are really nice they do have a good variety of fruits and vegetables their salad bar is always fresh theres always somebody helpful to answer a question I would go there again Id send friends there to shop for groceries.

Use to love Remke until they took away double coupons for lower prices that are still higher than every other grocery store. Now they dont accept print coupons either. I hardly ever go anymore. No need to drive further for an over priced grocery store.

Had great sale on produce and bread. Also they run good deals in pork tenderloin....organic, so tender, crock pot no fail! Other ordinary items have just gotten too expensive.

Went in this morning to grab a few items. I went to the veggies to grab some packaged romaine lettuce and ALL items were expired by over a week. Disgusting!

I would strongly advise against buying any meat products from this location. Green and Slimy ribs/steaks. Heck, even a pack of cheese metts (that were still before the sell by date) smelled like roadkill upon getting them home from this remkes location.People are friendly though and other products are fine.

If I could give a zero I would. I have gone into this store where frozen food has thawded. I went in today to get sub buns and you could see drops of water or moisture in the package.

Customer service not good. Things in floral dept not priced. No help or interest in helping. Great popcorn.

Dont get me wrong I really like the nice people that work here, but the prices, overall, are on the more expensive end for groceries. I usually shop the sale items that I have coupons for. There is a nice $1 isle there full of food, snacks and household items. Also, you can sign up for the Wednesday weekly special for a particular item at just 10¢ !!

I live in Cincinnati, and there are no Remke markets there. So whenever Im going to Kentucky I have to stop for their ham salad. Even better than my moms which is unheard of!

I love when they have weekly specials and bogof. It also has a nice layout so you are not crowded in the isles.

Customer service is fantastic. Prices are outrageous. Can buy a basket of items at Krogers for a third of same things at Rempkes. The Rempkes​ family are wonderful caring people and after speaking to three other people about this I dont feel unjustified posting this. We all live within 1-2 minutes from there and of course would love to be able to go there but because of prices, we can not.

The items are way too expensive a box of generic cereal was almost 3 dollars and a loaf of remke bread was almost 1.50 Krogers is much better and cheaper and the 3 people I asked that work there dont know where anything is the young guy with short hair in the deli was very nice helpful on sat evening the 8th.and they only have 3 shelves of frozen pies or cakes and krogers has a whole row.

Its ok for convenience, not many options like you have at Kroger.

Unfortunately, the place looks almost deserted. There is a eerie feeling of that place that is about to be closed. Couldnt find many of the usual produce, limited selection throughout. Lack/Inapoi number of employees also contributes to this deserted feeling. The salad bar was relatively expensive for a grocery store.

Clean, well organized store with items which are harder to find other places. Prices are higher on some items, but I will definitely shop here again.

Horrible store with HIGH PRICES. They advertise low prices but you have to give away all your personal information to get a REMKE card. SAY NO TO STORE CARDS FOR DISCOUNTS. Dont discriminate against those of us who want to keep our shopping habits private. Remkeees Market is a clean, well kept grocery store. They usually have better produce and meats than Krogers, but you may pay more for other stuff. I love their deli! Best chicken salad ever and great fried chicken. I order their fried chicken for special occasions and its always good. I wish they would open a Remkees in walton.

Good grapes; sad wrinkled apples, which if Id been looking for prunes fine, but when youre hoping to get fresh apples. Seeing & feeling wrinkles on most of them isnt appealing😝
