Amazing market with good selection, including books if you can read Japanese. Workers are polite and kind and will inform you if youre unsure of something. Chakos bakery also supplies their baked goods. Highly suggest, and hope they reopen soon.

This little shop is awesome! From DVDs and books, to snacks and ingredients. The lady there was so kind and patient. A must stop for any Japan enthusiasts.

This place is the one I like best. I visit many restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very warm and the food they offer is so good. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

Found this little gem of a store filled with Japanese food, candy and drinks at a surprisingly good price. They also have a collection of books, manga and dvds. I would recommend if thats your style.

Cute place! People are ALWAYS super nice and you can pick up items you find at CAM north of Cincy but its much more quaint.

Place is small but has some good essentials. Very good prices on some stuff, but keep in mind that the pandemic means less stock. I was pleased as punch to see my favorite Royal Milk tea. They have things like dashi stock (for the best price Ive seen locally) and somen as well as mentsuyu and Japanese chili powders, but were out of stock of full nori sheets. Great prices on Sapporo Ichiban noodles that normally are at a higher mark up (4.49 for a 5 pack vs. 1.19 for 1 at Kroger), but comparable prices with Kroger on tofu (2.29 vs. 1.99), furikake, and edamame. Fair selection of Japanese candy, and I found my favorite Hokkaido cream bun for a great price (1.99)! You will also find frozen takoyaki, takoyaki sauce, kewpie mayo (although pricey), a manga selection, and a pretty nice selection of individual drinks. They were also very friendly!

Authentic, imported goods and foods, some of which are hard to find at the bigger Japanese markets. Small, but great selection. Hard to ignore the smell of cigarette smoke, though.

Fantastic little shop with a great selection of Japanese grocery items, including a small produce section and a good variety of frozen fish that are otherwise hard to find. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, too. When they didn’t have a type of produce I was looking for (mizuna, specifically), they were able to special order some for me. Definitely a gem in the Cinci/NKY area!

Just went today and it was way better than i had initicially expected! The management was very nice, and the prices of the products are very reasonable ! If you are looking for snacks and diverse cooking ingredients this place is good, if youre looking for more cosmetics or things like that they only really have shampoo but i dont mind. Absolutely loved thus place and will be back soon! :) also they have tons of cute candies with some little odds n ends too, just check it out for yourself

Very cute small market. The owner/checkout lady was very sweet and helpful. They have an awesome selection of noodles and sauces for udon and ramen and the like....They also have a selection of frozen fish that is prepped in store, a small selection of personal care products, some awesome candy, and what looked like manga books! Very traditional ingredients if you are looking to make some traditional Japanese food.
