Not only did our car get storm damage one time, but it was also involved in a car accident a different time. Both times we had a really great experience with MAG Automotive. They have performed great body work and repairs. We had it directly towed to MAG the second time when it was in the accident. Without the above and beyond service there, I dont think things would have went so well for us. This is not the usual corporate shop. Kirsten is AMAZING, and called us to explain what was happening, made phone calls to the insurance company, and cleared up problems that we could not have. Unfortunately, the car was a total loss, but without their help we would of just took the first offer the insurance company wanted to give. 5 stars. Thank you MAG!

Its nice to goto a local shop where the owner cares about the customers. Im so glad I live in a place where I can still do this and not some franchise owned corporate place! My new bumper was replaced repainted and I was back on the road way faster than I expected. With no excuses or poor workmanship.

Another shade tree mechanic.. nuff said.. I wouldn’t ever take my car back here again. dropped it off and get it back in worse condition then when I dropped it off. Not to mention they had it over a month with no real reason to keep it that long let alone did they fix it!? NO, they made it worse. Prime definition of a shade tree dollar general junk yard part using mechanic shop! One thing I know in the mechanic industry is your judged on your customer service plus the job done on the vehicle.. let me just tell ya this place did not meet either one of those from my experience an I would suggest to anyone else looking to go here, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Very professional shop. When I picked my car up the owner came over to explain what was wrong and made sure I felt comfortable with what was needed to fix the issues. Friendly people and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them to everybody!

Took my car there to be diagnosed they fixed a shift control problem I paid 700 dollars five minutes later after I drive off the lot my car stopped working I had to pay to get car towed back there without any reimbursement and then was informed of transmission problems all within 24 hrs I was then told I have until 5 pm to come get me car off lot before they tow it even though I just gave them $700 to fix a car that I still can’t drive and Mark hung up the phone I feel like I wasted my money and they don’t care long as they got their money their on to the next

This place use to be fair on the prices but now the prices are thru the roof even on small jobs.

Gave them four days to fix multiple problems. Essentially they changed spark plugs. The new lady behind the desk hasnt a clue about her job. I understand a pretty face but brains are recommended for her job. Last lady knew her ..... Place is going down hill. Not fixing things, Xtra days, rude owner and a front desk receptionist thats hasnt a clue about vechiles. Go any place else if you actually want work done, timely.

So I missed four days of work because they told me my car would be fixed in one or two days. when I picked up my car there where cracks in the dashboard and a ten inch crack in my passenger seat and I have a extra 100 miles on my car that was not there before hand. The price was very reasonable and you obviously get what you pay for. I will no be taking it back there ever again yes in the automotive world you do have bumps along the road but own up to it please.

Did what the big boys wouldnt attempt.Our 2005 Mazda Tribute was cherry, very clean car. Except for the right rear wheel well. That was badly rusted. I took it to three different dealers and none of them would attempt the repair. Finally one of them recommended Mag Automotive, they love this kind of thing! It was true. Our little gold car was fixed and the price was less than half what I had mentally braced myself to pay. Theyll be doing any future miracles we need done.

I have known Mark and the whole crew for years now and can honestly say they are a top notch group of professionals when it comes to repairing vehicles and I know, as I did this line of work for a living for 15 years. I know when someone does or doesnt know what they are talking about. I know Mark personally and can tell you straight up he is honest as the day is long and above reproach as a man and as a friend and mechanic. Hes been doing repair work for well over 25 years so he knows what he is doing, as well as employing those who share his knowledge and integrity in the field of auto and truck repair and customer service. Did I mention he is one of the best body repairmen I have ever seen in the business and has a state of the art facility rite on the premise for all your auto body needs. I hit a deer about a year and a half ago and he got me rite in and worked with my insurance co.State Farm and fixed my Grand Am like new, like the accident never happened. On top of all that Mark and the whole crew are fun to be around and to talk with and know, Stacy is a riot and always positive, as well as Melissa up front who is always a pleasure to talk with. This crew will always take good care of your vehicle needs and go the extra mile to make your visit one that you will remember fondly the next time your engine light comes on. If I could give 0 stars I would. My car is running worse than when I dropped it off. I dont know if they deliberately destroyed something that wasnt damaged but since I picked my car up it is now sputtering and stopping and is very loud. It wasnt doing it before...

Simply the BEST! Rest assured when you need to have your vehicle repaired that you will be given the BEST service. I have had both my vehicles repaired 2004 VW Jetta Turbo and 2000 GMC Jimmy and will only bring them back to MAG Automotive when they need work.

I gave this shop a chance because i brought a wood chipper in here because i couldnt get the fly wheel off. The owner had some of his mechanics stop what they were doing and helped me get it off for free. So my truck broke down and figured i would return the favor. They told me my motor was done and so did Charbonier Auto Service. Mag said it needed 1800 dollars worth of work before they even got to the motor. Then i took it to Charbonier Auto Service for a second opinion and they said the motor was done as well. Thank god my neighbor talked me into a third opinion. At a great shop called Steves old town automotive and they charged me less than 500 for a f**king catalytic converter. Mag Automotive and Charbonier Auto Service both said my motor was done and couldnt figure out it was a catalytic converter I cant believe these shops are still in business please drive by and go straight to Steves Old Town Automotive you wont go wrong. I will never let Mag or Charbonier ever look at one of my vehicles again!!!!!

Worst auto shop ever all I went there for was to get my air conditioning fixed they fixed it 3 xs just for it to break within a week each time and everytime I went back up according to them it was a different reason why it didnt work each time meaning more money everytime so the last time when they quoted me over $1000 after Ive already put in over $400 for them to do what they should have diagnosed and quoted correctly with my 1st visit Im out $400 and my ac is still broke thankfully it was close to winter...this has happened to numerous people that go here they fix what you tell them the problem is then that same problem happens again and they blame it on another issue and charge again they are money hungry and pretend to fix what they are not fixing

Mag Automotive was very professional, personable, FUNNY, and went above and beyond to make sure I was educated about my problems. They made sure I got the best deal and great quality tires. They gave me amazing customer service. I appreciate everything they did for me to ensure that I was not being tricked or mislead because I am a woman. I work in North County and I wanted somewhere that was near my job. When I called I asked for an estimate over the phone. The lady, Melissa, suggested that I come in to get a free inspection. She was very sweet and courteous. I went in Monday. I told the mechanic, Stacey what my dealer Suntrup Hyundai told me what was wrong with my car. My dealer wanted me to pay almost $1500 worth of work for my car. They wanted to replace both front and lower ball joints, left tie rod end, wheel alignment, and 4 new tires. They made it seem extremely urgent and that I needed it done asap.Stacey checked my car out. While I waited I watched tv on their huge flat screen, sat on an over-sized comfy leather sofa, and used their wifi... Once he was done with the inspection, he wanted to show me what was going on with my car. I was able to get underneath my car to see what my dealer was talking about. Nothing was wrong with my front and lower ball joints. Suntrup was going to charge me $500 for work that wasnt even necessary!Stacey explained to me and showed me what was going one and the issues with my tie end rods. Suntrup also tried to make me get 4 new tires when my rear end tires were fine. I ended up saving almost half of what Suntrup tried to make me spend. I made an appointment to get the work done the following day (Tuesday).I was able to speak to the owner Mark, who was very sympathetic and understanding with my situation. He was very sincere and was on the phone immediately to make sure I got my new tired and parts delivered for my appointment the next day.I dropped my car off, and Melissa dropped me off at work. After I was off, Stacey picked me up. They gave exceptional service. It was one of the easiest and effortless repairs ever for me. I left feeling relieved and happy.

If you need work or tires done this is the place to go. Theyre always cheaper than anyone else
