I do understand that we are in a pandemic and there is a shortage of workers. But this store was a mess. The stock was all stacked in the middle of the fl. There was only a few lanes open and the lines were all the way back into the clothing depth. The self checkout line was all the way to the back of the store. Hoping that things would be better as I was almost done shopping.Nope! Just a disaster! Sorry but I wont be going back unless things get better and that doesnt appear to be no time soon.
I find some great deals when I do go, but dont go often. Check out lines are so long. I was looking for women long socks and shelfs were empty. Whats going on?
You can find almost anything there. Great for one stop shopping. Now it’s a totally different matter when you get to the checkout line. Employees walking around while lines are wrapping through the aisles of clothing. Management not attempting to rectify the problem. This is an ongoing problem. I give up. Just waiting to see how long before it’s closed due to the poor customer service
It was a very good experience that a lots of the items were available for me, using the OTC Card an my Healthy Benefit Card, over all the cashier was on point,,well experience with the transaction dealing with the cards,,very patience an pleasant,,over a wonderful experience
You gotta love Walmart, they got everything but BOY they dont NEVER have any cashiers!! The maybe 3 lanes they have open are pretty much always so long youre in a line going halfway through the store. They need to hire some more people, pay more to retain good help and then itd even out and be a much better experience.
The staff has bad attitudes and stand around talking about unwork related things rather than doing their jobs. The lines are always too long and the cashiers move slow but they always greet you nicely..
They never open more than two or three lanes at check-outs pluses self checkout which means long lines for checking out its rediculous if they wont people to shop then get us out faster you cant blame all situations on the pandemic you have the people to work the cash registers now change the financial speed an presission Walmart makes more money than all of the stores in our area the other stores follows Walmart leads now lets get back on the ball
Took all stars off because although I rarely come to Walmart, every time the lines are insane and only like 3 lanes open, usually a couple which are 20 items or less (and they make it clear by yelling it out as you walk by, which is odd and feels slightly passive aggressive lol). Where are all the cashiers?? There are more people with cart fulls than 20< carts, so it would make more sense to spread them out and let the people with small carts use self checkout. This photo is of a line for self checkout stretching back to the clothing and food. Ridiculous.
Visiting from out of state I stopped in at this store for a few items. This Walmart had only two lanes and self check out open during the middle of a busy day. The lines were very long. I spoke to a local in line, she said it is always like this. The shelves were not well stocked either. Poor management in my opinion.
Store was a mess!!!Store carts pilled up with merchandise( go backs). Uboats with stock to be put away. Came to get wire in craft dept. All shelves and hooks empty. Horrible.
Walmart is a very cool place to shop.. theyre spreading like wildfire with locations all over!! I truly love to shop at Walmart... Keep up the good work 👌
I come here every Sunday morning. Some times they are short handed but the cashiers that have checked me out have been pretty nice. There was plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. A little short in the freezer. But otherwise all was good.
Updated Aug 27th 2021 at 9am this morning store was very busy, only saw 1 person without a mask. Lines long but I was through the line in 7 minutes at the self checkout. Also Im getting used to the self checkout and am much more effective at scanning. Service folks where helpful today finding stuff.
I purchased 5 bags of Great Value chilli and cheese corn chips & honey and barbecue corn chip. The sign for the chips said .77 cents. I didnt notice what I was charged until I finished checking out. Im disabled and used a motorized chair, but i made sure i picked out those under the price. The manager at customer service said the sign should be $1.28, I said ok, thats not what it said. Her reply was everything cost more. I can only give you a refund for one! I said thats not right or my fault. Her attitude was less than nice and it was just not nice how I was treated. That was not customer service.
Trash, who goes to Walmart at 6 and 7 in the morning to shop?....at Walmart. The cashiers are rude and there’s always 2 lines open like people aren’t applying for jobs. I still don’t understand why people are going shopping at Walmart at 6 and 7 o’clock in the morning. It should never be so crowded. “Hey let’s go to Walmart in the morning at 7 to SHOP! 😂 people are pathetic and the store sucks. They need more people or something. Tsk, Only in St. Louis.
Absolutely positively the worst service you will ever receive at a Walmart. I guess because of the area you are in managers don’t want to hear how you feel. I went there on a Sunday before school started and the line was back to electronics. Only 3 lines were open and self service. Went to the Deli department to call for the manager and they called him 3 times over the loud speaker he never came.Called the ethics line and was referred to call the store manager which is out of line. I went to the Manchester location was in and out. Why is it so different is it because of the clientele ?? If that’s not so make it make sense?? Unethical is what it is!!!
GrandmaMy experience was great. The curbside attendant was very nice and quick with my delivery.
Always not enough lines o open, as much as an hour in line any time of day or night. Rude people working there. They did have what I needed
This Walmart is really different than the other Walmart the lines are always long and slow. If you want to wait in line for 20 minutes or more, this is the Walmart for you. I find myself traveling 25 minutes to get to any other Walmart because i know they will be better than this one.
Waited 30 minutes to checkout...in the express checkout. There were only three lines open, including the express line. Customer Service summoned all available staff to unload delivery trucks, even though the store was full of shoppers. All the checkout lanes had at least 15 people waiting. Many shoppers left because the wait to checkout was so long. This location needs to focus on customers, not inventory.
Ghetto mart 2.0!! The ONLY nice employee was on lane 9. Save yourself the headache and drive farther out
Lots of shelves were bare and honest to God, the longest line at a Walmart in my life. I was in the area doing something up there that why I went. I wont go back thats for sure.
It was horrible, I actually left my cart in the aisle. When I was ready to checkout, the lines were all backed up into the clothing/shoe depts. The self checkout line was headed back towards the back of the store. I wrote to Walmart, but received a standard, were forwarding your concern to the store manager. No worry, I will take my business elsewhere. This store has been in this condition, far too long.
I didnt give them a five because they didnt have much food. For some reason their food section was short. Other than that I like the fact that I was able to find everything else that I was looking for. Also when I was looking for help. Help was not that hard to find like jthe West Florissant location. I actually was able to talk to a manager and he answered my question.
Not very easy to navigate the parking lot. This is a somewhat of a smaller Walmart. The major negative was waiting for any checkout lane. There were four or five lanes open with real people and one side with the self checkout with the lines for all of them being several people long and it seems to be a busy store and it wasnt a horrible experience but they really need to improve the parking lot somehow and speed up the checkout process. One worker did ask what I was looking for, I told him and he told me exactly where it was. This was my first time at this place, I only needed two things, so I wasnt there long enough to give you a full experience of the store. I will likely go to a different Walmart in the future.
Perhaps not the cleanest or well stocked Walmart in the region; however, every employee I met was courteous and helpful. There was a few items, like sauce jars smashed in one aisle but the glass was removed. I would bet this location sees a huge volume of patrons daily! They are doing a great job considering their capacity serving the nearby community.
They need to have all the check out lines open in order to have faster service. I stood in line for over 45 minutes not except able.
The line is always super long but you can buy cool stuff here like clothes and food and school supplies
Parking lot is just plain dangerous. Great customer service. Dont always have prices for clothing
Tried for 30 minutes to get someone to answer the phone. Nobody ever did. Went there and found lines everywhere and employees who werent interested in assisting anyone.
The staff and people were nice. The shelves lacked product, unpacked boxes everywhere and the line to check out was more than half way to the end of the store.
Their shelves are bare. I do understand when you waiting for a shipment of goods to come but when they coming. I only got 2 of the 10 items I wanted.
Just horrible place to shop. Frustrating experience for me. Long lines, employees seem bothered when asking for assistance. Many just standing around talking to each other, some dancing alone and with each other & loud annoying music. Shelves are a mess and low on items. Head shaking show at best, you just have to laugh. Wont ever be back to Florissant location on Lindbergh & Halls Ferry.
Have the employees are no help at all. Really need a full employee do over.
Long waiting periods in check out lines especially on weekends n holidays. Well stocked and was able to get what I wanted, as I do most of the time. More attention should be directed to having a more secured facility.
The workers that bring out the groceries for curb side pickup need to be retrained. They will say inappropriate things to your family while loading your car with groceries. Especially at the woodriver location.
I liked this Walmart better than st chas rock rd but traffic was worse
I went to return an item and customer service was closed at 7pm on a Saturday. I asked an associate why it was closed and they told me they had closed it early. If the store is open, I should be able to make a return
Lines here are actually possible to wait in without walking out, like I wanted to from the Lindbergh store in Florissant. That store is horrible! Only 2 lanes were open with both having lines halfway to the back of store. SO THANK YOU BRIDGETON, for running the store much more efficiently and keeping it much cleaner. Also- thank you for not having employees stand around just watching the lines grow without moving, like the florissant location.💛💖
I was in a wheelchair today at your store and a young man who worked there offered to push me where I needed to go in the store, he was very very helpful. I have never experienced that at any store, thank you WALMART for hiring this young man we need more workers like him especially when there are no mobile carts. I really wish I had gotten this young mans name hats off to him.
They never have enough lines open. Normally 3-4 likes are open at a time, so be prepared for a wait to check out. The self checkout area closes early
Great place to shop. but unfortunately they do need to open up more cashiers at the checkout you shouldnt have customers waiting around the whole store to get checked out
No help in there lines are way to long n way to slow n all the shelves are always empty n the sad part is I LOVE WALMART
It was good shopping nice day out I love it.
This is the worst Walmart that I have ever been in the employees dont care customer service is horrible do not shop here EVER
It was a great experience at this Walmart, all the employees were very friendly.
All signs say they close at 11pm. 10 35 I tried to get in and was bullied by three men at the door who said they were closed. I asked to see a manager or supervisor; I was told there wasnt one at night. I asked why the signs said 11; they all said they didnt care what the sign said they were closed! Was told if I had a problem with it come back first thing in the morning. Can someone give me an answer to the rudeness!
I usually love shopping here. This time I waited in electronics to purchase an item in the cages. Theres no bell so I asked a service person walking by how can we get someone to open cage for us. His response was, I hate walking past here. They are always leaving for break together, or leaving early period. You need to ask someone else. Find someone with a radio on them. As he says this an associate with a radio walks by. He speaks into a mic and says someone needs help in electronics and never so much as slows down or speaks to us. No page was made and no one ever came.
Every time I come here and North Lindbergh I always have to wait in long line. My time is important. I work in Healthcare. We have to answer our patients quickly. I work hard come to your monopoly business to stand and wait.
I just to use the money center the line is extremely long there on enough cashiers I understand they want you to do digital I understand they want you to use self-checkout but the young lady who assisted me was on her cell phone FaceTiming someone as she was talkin and trying to take care of customers this location I find it very horrible
One of the most rarest Cadillacs it was in the video game called Gran Turismo they said theyd never make it real, CIEN CADILLAC XL-R
One of the best Wal-marts in St. Louis! Its clean, well groomed and has a wide assortment of everything!
Doesn’t deserve one star! Management needs an overhauled. Talk crazy to me after they got my $ and refuse to service me because I called corporate. Rude, Lazy good for nothing’s managers. I will never ever go back into a Walmart and will not renew my Sam’s membership. Insane and disgusting! The lowest that they come.
Shelves werent stocked with limited product availability. The lines were backed up down the aisles: its 9 lines but only 5 open. Then the employees are rude and act like they dont know nothing. Customer Service has really gone to hell!
Got lunch items for next week. In and out quick.
Its okay. Its a real shame that the money you save gets overshadowed by the inconvenience of shopping there. They never have enough checkers. You have to self check out if you want to get out by Christmas. Id rather spend more money with a competitor for better service.
Surprisingly fast and efficient for a well known established retailer. I love this superstore.
Its awesome good people too! They definitely care about individuals!
I love this Walmart...everyone is so nice and helpful!
Screw Walmart. So I cant order anything to pick up at the HWY 67 location for pick up????? Only West Florrisant road or Rock Road? WHY? To push your Delivery instead?I can pickup from EVERY STORE IN ST.LOUIS but NOT the HWY 67 a mile from me???Neither online or the app will recognize highway 67 for pickup.
Hey, if you want under stocked shelves and watch employees do nothing, this is the Walmart for you. Store looks like the aftermath of Katrina every time I step in there.
Long lines, very empty shelves, I left there and went to st. Charles Walmart shelves are fully stocked. So sad
Im not a fan of Walmart but I happened to be in this one looking for a headset. It has potential to be a great store if they hired people with a high school diploma or GED. The staff know nothing of customer service, ethics, or knowledge of the department they work in. Dont ask questions. Their heads may explode.
Wish i could give it a negative 5! Were do you even start by writing a review. Not going to waste my time any more than i already have. I wish that a review would help in the least little bit but we know it wont. Like anything else just stop going to that location and yet another store will close in the area
Idiots work here. And they arent very slick about catching fraud.
They never have enough lanes open and it’s always a lot of people walking around doing nothing. I’m here now and you stand in line longer than you shop. Walmart makes to much money to not have every check out lane open.
Lines are always long its ridiculous. What is the point of having 14 lines and only have 3 open. We were in line for over 30 minutes. They have 60 workers walking around and only 3 registers open. This place is trash. Would not recommend this place. Target is never like this
Worst Walmart I’ve ever been to in my life!!! They have two cashiers and lines all the way to the back! I’ve been in line for almost 30 min my ice cream is starting to melt! Will never come back here and i advise you don’t shop here. They won’t let me use self checkout because I have more than 20 items! I have to be at work and need my groceries. They have no consideration for any costumers whatsoever! Very very awful experience for my first time here
They always have everything I need. The staff is always friendly and willing to help
100 plus in lines, waiting. 4 lanes open. Had time to count on er 100 ppl. Never coming here again.
Nice clean store with friendly staff. Even the bathrooms were clean!
Electronics cashier was courteous and able to assist me in finding what I was looking for promptly and politely. Great customer service
Met my walmart expectations. As I saw in other reviews, there were a few empty spots on shelves for items I needed but over all, a decent experience. Ill say there were more than two lanes open which is rare. The last two walmarts I visited while traveling has only two open and lines that wrapped around clothing items.
I wish I could do half a star. Worst Walmart in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area hands down. Lines are always long, customer service is a myth. While waiting for my wife I watched a manager tell two employees to open up lines, I waited then asked the young lady if her line was about to open she said no. So I went to the manager and asked if any other lines were about to open she said idk. Then I’m waiting and hear someone say “there’s no waiting on ten”. I go back to the manager and asked her what is that cashier name she gave me a fake name, the cashier had her badge backwards. Worst kind of people work at that Walmart.
Ordered a bike for my sons birthday, got there to pick it up, waited 15mins for a lady to come give me the bike which was sitting right behind the counter and there was 2 other workers standing there talking but for some reason couldnt take care of my order. Get the bike finally and the front tire is completely flat. Was told it came to the store like that and they couldnt give me a replacement innertube free of charge.
Always easy to find what you need at a GREAT PRICE, WORST place to buy if your on a time Crunch And time right now is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT SO .....no super stars here
This store is consistently inconsistent. I went in the middle of the afternoon only for the customer service area to be closed. This has happened on several occasions. The lines remain unreasonably long. There has to be a solution for a better shopping experience.
Everything I had to pick up they had.The young woman Ms Jas was so very professional working with me made my experience so awesome. Keep up the awesome wonderful job Ms Jas you got a 💯 for me A+ you rock 🤘🥰
Can’t get what you want right on order pick up and then complain when you try to return it for the right item. If you want something specific don’t expect them to have enough sense to get it for you cause they don’t.
Didnt have Childrens Pepto Bismal
Theres huge lines in all lanes stretched into the ailes, express is completely full and weve been waiting for at least 10 minutes... its a wednesday. Just open up another lane.
Everytime I visit this establishment the checkout line maybe 4 at the most has more than 10 customers or more. If youre ever in a rush a need to grab a few items never visit this location. You will be late to your next destination.
It was beautiful. I enjoyed my stay..
Long lines and few cashiers. I was able to find what I needed but no selections.
I will literally drive 3o minutes out of my way to avoid this store. The wait time to get checked out is insanely unacceptable. Dont waste your time here!!
Not enough workers and long lines no vitamins no nothing
I love going 1st thing in the morning to Walmart
Very nice staff very polite and not rude like the walmart on west florissant ave in st. Louis
Horrible experience. I stood in line for 20 mins at least. There was three lines open initially, but two of the cashiers arbitrarily went to straighten up the aisles. No manager in sight. Easily 50 people standing in one line while workers did other activities. One poor girl was stuck working by herself.
Only three checkers working on a Saturday! The self checkout line was wrapped all the way back through the produce department. We just walked out. Walmarts prices arent so great that I want to stand in line for 40 minutes waiting to be checked out. Serious management problem at the store.
Workers actually pretty nice or helpful
Well stocked, I always get what I need or are looking for
Walmart is one of my most favorite places to shop! They have everything you need all in one place and this location is always clean!
Store lines are always wrapped around the inside. It is like this every time I come here. I always see workers walking around yet there are only a few lanes open. Customer service is lacking. Sometimes, I gladly pass up this location and go over to Granite City.
This Bridgeton location is much better than the Lindbergh location, which is less than a mile away from my house. I no longer wish to go to the Lindbergh location.
Proficient and effective. Very patient and kind to seniors.
Great wallmart! I come here to cash my check and shop.
Not good. About 4:30-5:00pm Customer Service Dept was completely closed down...(lights turned off in the area)...closed down, because there was no one there to work the department.
