Jerry is helpful and nice. Have known him for years.. Went looking for a bike for my son and thought I would get a 20 inch. Turns out he is ready for a 24 inch after testing both. Trek also has the growth spurt buy back which gives 50 percent of purchased price credit towards new bike if your kid grows out of it in 3 years.

I got a new kids bike (not trek brand) delivered by mail, and it had a bent derailer. This trek store was able to fix it the same day and it shifts perfectly now. It was also very affordable. Great staff and great place. Support local bike shops.

Very happy to have stopped by this store!! Josh was able to answer my questions and give me great detailed information about the bike that I purchased. My bike arrived promptly by the date that I was told and the staff made sure that my suspension was set and ready for the trails before I left the store. Youve got great products and your service is awesome. But thats the least important question to ask in a survey. Youve always made me feel welcome no matter what silly question I might have asked about bicycles over the years and you are never put out for quick walk-in adjustment to keep me riding. Bicycles Plus - Flower Mound has a decent selection of general consumables for your road and mountain bike. Prices are reasonable, but the shop sets itself apart with service. Aside from jumping all over your ride to get it in mint performing condition as quickly as possible, the folks in there are always willing to help you research and find the perfect solution to whatever it is you are trying to accomplish as a novice, intermediate, or especially seasoned cyclist/mechanic.

Sales person (Josh & Grace) were very patient and took the time to understand our needs and made recommendations. We had a chance to ride couple different bikes and chose one that fit us best. We were debating between an Electra Cruiser & a Townie. We were initially inclined towards the Cruiser1 or Cruiser 7D. However, after the test ride, we went with the Townie. It was more comfortable and with back problems, the Townie seemed to be a better fit. They did not seem to be pushy and were patient even though the store was busy. It seems like the folks at the store enjoy their job and it is very important to have such a good team. This was our first purchase and we will definitely be a regular customer for all of our bike needs and wants !Please support your local bike shop. They care.

We have never had a bad experience with this business. The staff here have always been courteous and professional. The issues that we have had with our childrens bikes have always been repairable. The staff inspects the bike, find out what the problem is, tells you what it will cost to repair or if it is repairable, and how long it will take to repair. There is room to maneuver within the store and it is well lit. Great business!!!

With all the high reviews, I was looking forward to purchasing a bike for my granddaughter today. I cant say anything about their service...because I received none.There were only two cars in the parking lot shortly after noon today, so I was thinking great - no crowds, no competition for a salesperson.Walked in and saw 5-6 people behind the counter, 1-2 of them working on bikes.No greeting, no nothing. I finally asked if there was someone that was working sales on the floor. A young man (apparently the first day on the job on his first job ever) replied - and came out to help us.We quickly discovered that the bike we were looking for was not available, so the young man just kind of shrugged as if to say Im sorry.Soooo....I asked if we could order one. He said that they could, but wasnt sure when it would be delivered...and then he just stood there. Just stood there. Just stood there. Eventually he made his way to an electronic panel on the wall that apparently allows one to lookup bike info.I was quickly losing confidence...and patience. So...we were just standing by ourselves in the middle of a mostly empty store (one other customer present). I called Richardson Bike Mart while I stood there - and bought the bike I was looking for in the first place. Had to drive to Garland Rd. to pick it up, but it was worth the drive.To be fair - the kid that helped us had absolutely zero training and zero experience. Thats on the management. When we (my partner and I just stood there by the cashier desk - dumbfounded and catatonic...you would think someone would help.I do hope that our experience wasnt due to the fact that a gay couple came in to purchase a bike. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I just cant for the life of me explain why nobody was interested in helping.I know with the pandemic, a lot of bike shops did extremely well - maybe they just dont need the business. Who knows.Disappointed.

Friendly, fast, didnt feel like anyone talked over my head as Im not super into bicycles, but everything still felt honest and personable. I came in earlier in the day and bought a bike part I thought I could install and it ended up being more than I could handle. Brought the bike and part in minutes before closing and it was ready shortly after they opened the next day. I got a text, email and phone call to let me know and they left a message when I wasnt able to pick up. The part was not super expensive compared to online and the install was like $15. Totally worth my time and money - plus the feeling that I knew I wasnt going to fly off my bike because I didnt tighten something the right way. Thanks guys

I took my rear wheel in to have it trued and have 4 spokes replaced. One of the mechanics told me the wheel was too far gone to be repaired. He immediately looked up two wheels that were similar ranging from $150-$200+ and asked which one I wanted. I asked for my wheel back and then took it to Velo Republic in Denton where they repaired the same wheel for $29.00. Shop was better before it became corporate.

Took 2 bike in to have my new cranks installed correctly. Big mistake. They are worse than when i brought them in and 1 of the crank arms was damaged. When I tried to show them i was blown off and reminded of his 10 years experience. He wouldnt even check what i was trying to show him. Avoid this bike shop if you want your bike fixed right

The team that runs the shop is what Im buying. I feel welcome and comfortable working with this locations team members and know that they will help to educate me and provide the best experience that they are capable of. Went in their a couple of weekends ago. Stood there for about 20 minutes. No one acknowledged me. After 20 minutes or so a sales person asked what I needed. I told him what I was looking for and he said ok and walked off and greeted someone coming in the front door. They walked off to look at bikes. So I left. Normally I would have just walked around the store and check things out but with COVID now I usually stay put in one place. I waited another 10 minutes or so then just left.

Brought in a flat tire. Was replaced and all of my questions very quickly in maybe 15 minutes. Stephen was very patient and explained steps for installing a rear rack I brought in for another bike as well as how to change damaged pedals. Great experience especially during these times. I have been there twice with issues with two different “Walmart” bikes. They didn’t have a snobbish attitude that you get at some bike shops if you go in with a $75-$100 bike. Each time my issue was resolved in less than 20 minutes and the price was beyond reasonable. These guys are legit.

Disappointment. I want to express how utterly disappointed I am to have to write this review. I went to this store hoping to purchase a new bike only to be shot down. My husband and I waited for 45 minutes outside of the store due to the new policy in place. Completely understanding that due to Covid19 they are limiting the amount of people in the store at any given time. However, we were told when we first arrived to know what we were looking for while we waited. Doing just that while we stood in line. Another gentleman opened the door to ask what we and the guy behind us were looking for. Us to make a bike purchase for a unit they showed in stock and the other guy a new tube. After a while he came back with tubes for the guy behind us and got him in and out. While waiting further we watched a couple and their son meander through the store holding up the line further to only purchase a couple water bottles and a helmet all the while their son touched everything he could get his hands on. They were in there for the entire 45 minutes just walking around. After they left we waited a few more moments to wait and be helped only to be ignored further. My husband decided then to make a phone call to the store only to find out that they had it in stock but wouldn’t sell it to us because it wasn’t put together. While trying to tell the guy in the phone that they could have cut our wait time by checking in with us earlier in the line they decided to hang up on my husband and say “tough times ya know?”. For anyone in the customer service industry I find that inexcusable. I decided to call back and speak with a manager. He informed me that he was the first guy I spoke to and apologized and said there wasn’t anything he could do about it. “Tough times”. I hope they figure out customer service during these tough times otherwise they will continue to lose Business once all this is over and people who don’t normally ride go back to not riding. I watched four other people who had waited leave that line as well after the long wait. I won’t be back and I will never recommend this store.

Went to change the chain on my sons bike. The tech. looked at it and instead of just selling me a new one. He told me the chain I had was still good. I was surprised by their honesty and will definitely get all my maintenance done by them. UPDATE: Went again today and received the same great service on my own bike. Walked in 5 minutes after they opened and was greeted immediately by a young man he was cool told me the guys at the counter would help me. Took my Transition Patrol in for a weird derailer adjustment I could not figure out and to swap my brake levers around. One tech took the bike and said he may need to wait for the other tech to find out about the brakes. It was not a super simple fix he had to mess with the B adjustment (never heard of that) but the guy definitely knew what he was doing and had to do several things to ensure he got it right. Explained the problem, the chain had to be measured etc. but he got it. I came back and the levers were swapped derailer put where it was supposed to be. People were excellent, exactly what you want in your store they are enthusiast of the sport and have great customer service skills. Well done. eat

I went in to this local store to pick out a new bicycle for my birthday and was greeted/helped by a gentleman named William. Not only was he extremely patient with me, but he was also very knowledgeable with the type of bike I was looking for, sizing, accessories, helmets, everything. I know close to nothing about bikes and had been into cadence (another local bike store) a few months prior. While at cadence I was treated with complete disrespect and unnecessary attitude from the employees when I had questions regarding brakes, etc. Thankfully William and bicycles plus were able to make the sale with dignity while also teaching me when I had questions. Just went to the store to look at purchasing a bike for myself - have been looking and just not much available - well they were doing social distancing and keeping the number of people to a limit in the store. I waited about 30 minutes before it was me next - a guys open the door and ask me what i needed - first of all strange question when you go to a store that sells bikes. Well i answer that i was looking for a bike and he reply we dont have much and what they have is over $1500 - maybe i did not look the part that wanted a $1500 bike - while i waited a family seems to get at least 20-30 minutes of their time buying a bike for the little girl - hope they found something she like. I was trying to call this store for hours, but no-one answered, and the automatic announcement said to check availability on-line. When I go on-line, the message is to call store for availability.So, I drove about 45 minutes to the store, and it turned out the only option I had was to place an order. I mentioned this to the employee, and I complained that it is not convenient to drive 45 minutes, just to place an order. At this point he started lecturing me and made references to the current situation with the COVID19 virus, and that it is inconvenient for everyone to wear masks. In short, he was giving me the middle finger in his spineless way, so I responded with an F bomb and left the store.After that, he came after me, and started filming me and my car.I find this behavior quite unprofessional, and his making a video a bit threatening.Needless to say, Bicycles Plus just lost a customer, which I know is unfair with all the other decent employees, for which I apologize, but my decision is final.

Purchased two bikes from these guys. Just went in for free tune up was told one of the links was damaged on the chain. It was really bad, it had been working fine before. but I got it replaced. Magically second bike also needed new chain I refused the second this is a fairly new bike ridden by a 12 year old. I was very suspicious. I took it to a second bike shop they said the chain was fine also if I wanted to replace the chain it would be about 1/2 of what I was charged for the first one. 2nd bike shop said it may be a different quality of chain. These guys have been good to me in the past but have your antenna up.

Horrible customer service. Called and ordered 2 Marlin 5 Trek bicycles. They told me they had to build them and it would take a day or two. Three days later I call and ask for a status and the guy tells me very rudely it would be a few days. Hmmmm... two weeks later I call them and they have no record of me ever even calling or my name or number or especially the bikes I have been waiting two weeks for. What a bunch of clowns, I will never spend a dime in any of their stores ever!

Went to repair my bike on May 28th and the clerk said it will Be ready in two weeks. We tried calling with no answer. Went back on Friday June12th and the store clerk said the ordered part just arrived on Thursday and they will have it ready on Monday. Went today June 18th and clerk says part just arrived yesterday and the cycle will be ready by July 2. Not sure what the truth is. Hope I get to ride it sometime this summer.

Steven at Coppell swapped all the components from one of my frames to another I had and EVERYTHING was done to a highly professional result. It was like a brand new bike with no problems. Michael is the manager at Coppell and is THE person to see in the area if you need help on dialing in a bike fit issue. He has extensive experience in this and can make adjustments to resolve any comfort issues you have on the bike and goes the extra mile to ensure all his customers are satisfied.
