A very cute donut shop! Lots of cute things on display. Went later in the day so they didnt have much but was able to try a few fancy seasonal donuts.

Nice and courtesy. It smells absolutely amazing inside and has a lot of character. You also have a lot of options to choose from. The donuts were delicious. The donut holes resemble the taste of a funnel cake 💕

I came in near closing & there were only 2 vegan doughnuts left - after sample bites, I absolutely LOVE them! The vegan doughnuts are cake doughnuts, which is completely fine with me, & the icing is sooo good (I got raspberry & cookie butter). The shop is tiny & cute & the owner is so nice. Ill definitely be back.

Great service and cute place but their vegan donuts were very disappointing. They were like a moist cake not at all like a donut with very mediocre flavor. The fruit on top was perfect and icing was good, but the donuts were not the quality you’d expect from a donut shop

The establishment is strikingly unique in its design, It seems to take heavy inspiration from anime and childrens toys. Figurines, toys and art coat the walls with a sort of immersive art display. The donuts themselves are fantastic, you really cant go wrong with any choice you make. But the reason Im writing this review right now is to remind myself next time I go that the donuts melt after a day, the donuts are not designed to be saved for later.

I first visited Saras two years ago, during my first trip to Texas. I had been talking about, and dreaming of their treats ever since! It was a long time coming, but this past week, I revisited to get my two favorites, the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and the apple fritter. I was not disappointed! They were everything Id remembered and more! Served with a smile and kind words, Saras is always a pleasant experience, for your mouth, belly and soul!

The delicious smell when we walked in the door was a great sign! Wonderful costumer service, fun decor, and to top it all, super light, fresh donuts. I’m in love with Sara’s Donut Story!

If you have not had a donut from Saras, you have not lived. Best donuts on this planet. While you can get (amazing) regular donuts, her daily specials are works of art and some of the best things Ive ever eaten. I highly recommend walking in and asking her to just give you a dozen of whatever. Go home and taste. You wont be sorry.

Love this place. You feel so cozy walking in with all the fun, asian trinkets and decor. It really feels personal to whomever Sara is or the owner of the shop. My only complaint is that I never get up early enough to make it in time, they should have donuts for us 10 AM Sunday risers! Highly recommend Saras Donut Story.

Kawaii Donut shop that is vegan, gluten free and Keto friendly. Make sure you pre- order special diet items in advance. I can tell the owner put her heart and soul in this Bakery. This gem of a donut shop is unique and is decorated very cute.

Unique donut shop. I dont think this is a chain and thats wherein lies the charm of it. Some of the better donuts that are not too sweet, a very local mom and pop place that needs appreciation and support from foot traffic. Not too many choices but not too little either. Some speciality donuts looked nice - there are several other donut places around here but if you are looking for something more cozy and not commercial, I would recommend this.

Sara is so kind and accommodating! I had never been here before, but wanted some vegan donuts. I drove 30 minutes from the Keller area to go to her store so I called when I was on my way to place an order. When I first called, there was no answer (she was with a customer). She called me back a few minutes later, and I hadnt even left a message. I thought that was great customer service! Her store is so cute - love the yellow door, and the decor inside. Love that she bakes donuts for special diets like GF, vegan, etc. The cakey donuts were so so tasty, and all the frostings and fresh fruit on top were wonderful. My kids cant wait to come back here and neither can I! Thanks Sara!

The creme brulee donut is a dream...so delish

They arent open when they say they will be. Drove 30 minutes just to try their GF donuts (read on a review) and they were closed. Hopefully Im around that area in the future to actually give them a try.

Please be advised that if you are looking for their dietary-restriction donuts, you must call and request them to be made early in the morning before 6 am, except on weekends. Saras has the best gourmet donuts in the metroplex! Even her plain glazed ones melt in your mouth. My favorite is the creme brulee, but the rest of my family enjoys the maple bacon donut.

Wonderful customer service and a great selection of rotating favorites. The creme brulee and strawberries and cream donuts are my favorite but there is always some yummy sounding special. The dough is super light which is delicious but dangerous because I could eat atleast 3 each time we go! Definitely make a stop to support this awesome local business.

Let me just tell you. I was in town and ordered here off Uber eats and boy was I blown away. I got 3 dozen donut holes in chocolate, strawberry & glazed. Why I ordered so much idk it’s just for me. But honestly, I couldn’t stop eating them. They were the most delicious donut holes I’ve ever had. And the customer service...unmatched. They even threw in a surprise pig in a blanket that I didn’t even order! And left a cute nice message on the bag. even the pig in a blanket was so good I wanted another one. Sara Donuts is a quaint donut shop.Ive been there twice so far (on Mothers Day and on National Donut Day), and I have to say Im quite impressed. I enjoy their take on donuts. While they have the typical glazed and donut holes, they also have unique flavors such as creme brulee, orange, and salted caramel (featured in the photo).The decor is adorable. They have donut-themed drawings and figurines. A lot of the characters are familiar to me because they are anime characters such as Love Live and My Neighbor Totoro. The shop is well decorated, and the donuts are unique. They are a tad sweet, so prepare yourself. I suggest getting water to tone down the sweetness. Make sure to go early to get the best picks!

By far the best donuts in Flower Mound. Very different from the typical boring local donut store. They always have amazing non traditional flavors, and the croissant kolaches are wonderful.

This is THE place for donuts. Absolutely top notch. Everyone who works there is so, so sweet and half the reason I keep going back. Other half is their beyond amazing donuts of course. Such creative and delicious donuts - not too sweet at all.

Enjoyed variety of Donuts they have in the store. Strawberry Shortcake was my favorite. They are not too sweet so easier of pallet and can eat more. I would say I found texture to be little doughie and hance sticking to 4 star, I would for sure be open to trying again and see if my openion changes.

Very disappointed!! Left at 6:30 am and drove over 1/2 an hour to go try the vegan donuts because the reviews were so positive about them. Wanted to arrive early before the vegan donuts were gone. It was disheartening to see that there were only 6 flavors available. I purchased 2. My friend and I waited until we got back home to eat the donuts with breakfast. Mine was awful! Its more a cake donut than anything and mine was dry and tasted more like a day old biscuit. Also, the icing on top wasnt good either.Wont be going back.

KETO DONUTS!!! I had the bacon topped Keto donuts and it was soooooo good. Only 6.5 net carbs. I kept worrying while I was eating it thatI had gotten a regular donut because of the lack of fake sugar taste. I got a cinnamon sugar for tomorrow with only 3g of net carbs.I also got a fruit topped brioche donut for my mother and she went on and on about how delicious it was. She usually only wants a Boston cream donut but they were out. She has a new favorite!If you call ahead, they will have them ready when you arrive. However, you may want to go in to browse their beautiful and unusual donuts.

Apple Fritter was amazing and still warm at 7am....all this place needs is better coffee.... Adequate but lacking. Highly recommend this place for wonderful desert treats and donuts. Atmosphere is playful and creative.

The strawberry shortcake donut was amazing. Light flavors with fresh strawberries and a light fresh donut. I’ll definitely be back. By the way, I went in to get 6 glazed donuts for my sons and walked out with 2 boxes and a bag. $30 later! It was worth every penny 👍🏼👍🏼

Ugh I walked in and thought I was in a dream! The decorations are so fun and whimsy I instantly felt welcome. The donuts are lime nothing you have EVER had I doubt there is anything that you will not like!

Vegan. Cake. Donuts. I got 2 and it was under $5. Theyre made from a thick batter, like pound cake, but without egg and dairy (allergens). The icings I got were a vegan nutella and a powdered sugar cream. Very good!

Visited Sara Donuts during our trip to Texas this week with my daughter and wife. Donuts were soooo soft and fresh. My daughter loved the sausage rolls. We cant eat there any more but I would definitely visit there again if we visit Texas again. Brought a half dozen with us to share with friends. Awesome!

In our latest visit to Saras we were left disappointed. My eclair only had cream in the ends and nothing through the majority of the middle. When I pulled it out of the bag, much of the chocolate glaze was left in the bag. The apple fritter was not completely glazed on the top. As for the rest or our order, not to bad. Still love the decor and feel of Saras. However the quality was not were it needs to be considering the amount of competition.

I take my two kids 4 and 8 yrs old to Saras. They have a great time choosing their donut. I enjoy the unique flavors like strawberry shortcake and nutella. The ladies working there are kind and quick. It is always a nice treat to visit Sara Donuts.

After hearing many rave reviews, I went early one Sunday morning to pick up donuts as a surprise for my family. I was most excited to get gluten free donuts. They were ok. I got a variety box for my family. They were surprised, but not overly impressed.

This is by far my favorite local donut shop. The ladies are sweet, the decor is very fun and entertaining (think of every popular cartoon or anime ever made, and they have a plush doll, drawing, or some memento of it on the wall), and the donuts have a creative twist that makes them as unique as they are delicious. A must visit shop!
