We are social members and the club doubled the membership fee without telling us recently. We just finished dining with them and they got our reservation wrong for our party of 9, which was made 1 week in advance, once we were finally seated they were out of water glasses, plates and chardonnay. Not sure how a restaurant runs out of these staples. When the bill came they did not apply our social membership discount and I had to get into an argument with the server and even after she didnt apply our discount correctly. We will no longer be members. Service has gone way downhill.

Is not for the course, only the restaurant. I ordered a pizza, we only needed 1 pizza half pepperoni and half Italian sausage and mushroom. I was told they cant do that because it makes the chef crazy. Sorry but Id be willing to bet that the chef is a teenager hired for the summer who does whatever they are told. The server had memory issues or attention span trouble. She didnt remember anything even while saying it. Out of ice tea on a weekend afternoon. Make more maybe?? I carried out here and had no issues during football season. Today my pizza had a smoked hot jalapeno/cheddar sausage instead of the Italian sausage that I ordered. Lastly, whatever the bread knots are were hard as rocks. My mom could not even tear one in half. Thank goodness we are social members and did not pay full price. Another bad FM restaurant.

We jumped on a hot tee time through golf now. Tee time was at 1253. Only $15 per person plus taxes and fees! Its about one hour and 10 min drive but Ive always wanted to come play this course. The pro shop guys were nice and let us go off early! Cart path only and some mud balls due to all the rain weve been getting, but we loved it! Perfect weather, cool and cloudy. I bet this course is amazing when it dries up. I would recommend and would definitely play again. Thanks Bridlewood.

My buddy’s golf CLUBS WERE STOLEN from in front of their clubhouse and they just DID NOT CARE. The GM and every person in management wouldn’t help at all. Completely refused to help us. Told us they wouldn’t even look at the camera footage, even though a camera was pointed directly at the area from where the cart was parked. The worse customer service I’ve been a part of in my entire life. I can’t believe they treat people that need help retrieving thousands of dollars in clubs with such disregard. Complete trash.

They paid $100 each for a round and only after some angry words did they get $50 back because the club said, you can rent some clubs to finish your round!!!! WTH?!?Of and their security camera is broken! They did say the course was beautiful but again, don’t mistake this place as secure or an upper class club.

It’s been 5 days since the rainstorm passed through... and Bridlewood still has not repaired the bunkers! Please... I don’t want to hear ... they have to dry out before we can work them. Over half of these bunkers are dried out. What is the problem? For an $80.00 plus tee fee for the weekend... we expect the Entire course to be in playing condition! I certainly will not play a weekend here before first researching the playing condition.

Outstanding all the way around! Epitomizes a Country Club for a day experience, without the expense. Were a small group of seniors (10-12 on average), that tries to play a different course every Friday morning, that provides a decent senior discount. Be-aware - when you need to cancel the PDP program, you can ONLY do it in person - not over the phone, fax or email, and then they will charge you an extra 30 days from whenever you come in. They do this because it will take longer to come onsite so they can charge you more money. its not about the service, its about the money. The American Way I guess.

I just got accosted on a walk with my dog by over-zealous Debbie who works at the golf course telling me that I cant be on the golf course sidewalk. Hey Debbie you might want to take a look at the map of your course as the sidewalk that runs along W. Windsor Dr. was paid for and is maintained by our homeowner dues. Good PR is really important right now and being snarky with the people of Bridlewood probably isnt going to help you in the coming weeks. You are going to need our support to keep your restaurant open during COVID and help your business recover after we are all back to work. Ill be certain to relay this story to my BW social circle. I think our days of meeting at the club for dinner and drinks are over #nothanks.

Course in decent shape (played Thurs 9/27) but my low rating is due to the cost and slowness/service in the bar/restaurant area. First, we had tee times at 4pm and cost was $42 with no twilight rate (what course in 2018 doesn’t have twilight rates??). Pace of play was horrific - took us 2:40 minutes to play the front nine. No marshall to hurry up groups. Also there was no cart girl (if the course is that packed that pace of play is 2:40 for nine then you should have a cart girl). After nine I went in to buy beer. Two bartenders and three servers were in the bar/restaurant area. While it was somewhat crowded it wasn’t overly packed but the service took forever. Bartenders were moving extremely slow and took several minutes for one to even acknowledge me. Then came the price....$5 for can of beer (Shiner)....wow. Then went out to the back nine. Pace of play slightly better but since it took us so long for the front nine we could only get in about 4 holes before it got too dark. Will not play here again until price comes down, pace of play improves, and there is better/more reaponsive service in the bar area.

I go to Bridlewood every day, and I think it is one of the best courses in the Metroplex for its quality/price. It is a great course for holding a corporate event and is in excellent condition, especially for a public course. It could easily be a country club. The practice facilities are great, and the pro shop carries some of the latest shoes, as well as a variety of new clubs. And the staff does a nice job of providing great service.

Extremely disappointing. I tee’d off at 940 on a Saturday. I kind of expect 4.5 hours for public weekend golf, but I finished 18 at 3:10pm 5.5hours. I was going to go complain right when I was done, but my wife and I had plans at the pool and I had already kept them waiting. So I had to run out of there. I called the course when we got home at 545pm that night. I called and was told by Amy that I should have come in before I left, and that they didn’t get any other complaints. My group, who were three guys I was paired with, complained to each other and we were told by the ranger that several groups were complaining about slow play. He said “ I just tell people to hit two balls and just enjoy the weather” clearly this is a normal thing at Bridlewood (AVOID THIS PLACE). I said, how about telling the people behind pace to catch up to the group in front of them or they can’t continue. It’s sad to see what’s happened to Bridlewood, it used to be a respectable course, but it reminded me why I stopped playing there a year ago. I paid $82.00 for a very ordinary surbanan track, and could have played Grapevine in no more than 4.5 hours for $55. I gave them a chance to give me a discount or some courtesy and do the right thing, but they can care less and know with their bottom of the barrel discount club they stay packed. I guess they are fine with losing guys would gladly pay a high rate for a quality experience who normally never complain. I just could not believe they are ok 5.5 hours. I will tell everyone who will listen to avoid them like the plague.

A nice course to play but for some reason they feel it necessary to stagger tee times every 7 minutes. It took our 2-some nearly 6 hours to play because they were so backed up. Disappointing business practices lately. I’ve been a member for a couple years at this course and although it is very busy at times have always liked the family friendly atmosphere. I always play as a single since my schedule is not very predictable. Last few times I have played I noticed that the only time they could get me on was during the higher price time or very late. Seemed suspicious but understand most probably book during the cheaper time. Today went to play nine and took my 7 yr old with me because we enjoy spending time together on the course. Went at noon and was told they could get me on at 12:52p. I said since that is just before 1pm can I tee off then because that few minutes saves me 10 dollars. I was told that the next open time wouldn’t be until 2:50pm if I didn’t take the 12:52p time. I agreed to take the 12:52p time and then was told I had to pay an extra $25 for my 7 year old to ride with me. He has rode with me many times without ever being charged. I was told they are very busy and short carts. At the thought of now having to pay a total of $41 to play nine when I was expecting to pay $6 I decided to not play and just chip and putt. I couldn’t help but notice approximately 20 carts lined up and sitting, so obviously not a cart shortage. I was on the putting green at 1pm when I noticed a twosome go off the first tee, there was a long gap in tee times then I saw a single go off and then another gap before another single went off. Obviously they were not very busy after 1pm when the price dropped for PLP members and I could have been paired with either of the singles or tees off in one of the gaps. I have always enjoyed this course and the people but the obvious questionable business practices to get more money is very disappointing. I understand if prices need to be increased, but don’t lie just to get extra money out of people.
