Professional, high quality, and timely work was done on our home. They even worked with us to keep the old original interior windows and they installing new, fold up crank, casement windows on exterior side.

Rude disrespectful employees onsite and answering the phone. They think it is ok to completely block an entire road for no reason. They were not unloading this trailer and had room in driveway to back up and also plenty of room on road but instead decided to park sideways across the road and leave a big window world billboard saying hey dont use us were jerks. Talked to crew and secretary both acted like it was normal and ok secretary was super rude. No one wants the street blocked off for a day to get windows customer and neighbors. This especially worse since this is the only way into my house due to actual road construction that has other roads closed hence the barricade that says local traffic only there are in front of. Common courtesy should be a given but clearly not from Window World.

We contacted Window World along with other window companies to have a patio door installed and two windows replaced. We were very impressed with Eric and willingness to understand what we were looking for and wanted. We signed right away because price was right and timing was good considering the timing with getting materials. Fast forward to the install date. The day before the install we were called and told that the patio door did not come in. Because of the special circumstances with our patio door we framed it out. Well this is a big issue as we now have a foot hole in our Livingroom. Window World was kind enough to come board up the foot hole in the Livingroom and put tie back on it. Fast forward two months to the day, I am very pleased to say that everything has been installed. We were very unhappy clients to deal with during the months that our Livingroom was boarded up. I can not thank you guys enough. Between Mike, Mark, Sara and Eric you guys did an amazing job. The installers do not get enough credit on reviews, we had 3 installers here. They were very professional, honest and did an amazing job installing. Again, thank you guys and I would recommend over and over again!!!! What a strong finish!!! VERY IMPRESSED!!!

I had originally given Window World a poor review in November 2018. They had installed 18 (middle of the road option) windows and while I enjoyed the quality of the windows, the inside stops made of both pine and cedar werent installed with much care. They had overhang, gaps and in one case, a large open knot facing outwards.I put the pictures up on Google reviews but have since taken them down, as they no longer reflect the work Window World has done. The new pictures are quite dark but trust me, the windows look much better!Window World of Fond Du Lac reached out to me and has since come back to my house to fix the issues. Matt and Mike personally came to do the work, removed the ill-fitting stops and replacing them with new ones.Despite the difficulties with the original installation team, I would still give Window World a solid B. It would have been a solid 5 stars if the work they completed had been done the first time.Staff in store are always very friendly, and answered all of the questions I had. The cost was $8000 less than the second lowest quote, even with the almond color I chose bumping the price up per window.The windows have saved me an average of $30 off my gas bill each month (I had horrible storm window/single glaze windows before) and the savings for air conditioning in the summer is yet to be determined. February was the biggest difference, saving $75 from the 2018 bill to the 2019 bill.It is nice to have something good to say about Fond Du Lac businesses again.

Daughter bought a home that was recently refitted with window world windows. Tight fit, nicely installed, and easy to clean. Mike Davis was great to work with, and someone who delivers, where others might not. ...and thats what is crucial when the deal is done. Thx

We had windows installed by Window World in 2008. Within the last couple of years, three of them formed some hazing between the panes. Were preparing to sell our home, and I want to get the windows looking new again. We checked our paperwork, and the hazing appeared covered under warranty. I called the office, assuming the process would be a hassle, but I couldnt have been more wrong. The woman that answered the phone didnt have to transfer me to anyone and patiently took care of everything from start to finish. She walked me through finding the serial number for each window and asked me if any other parts needed replacing. She even offered to write a letter to the new buyer if the windows didnt arrive before the sale, and reminded me that they could transfer the warranty to them. Thank you, Window World. If we have any window needs in our next home, Ill know who to call!

I recently had 9 windows replaced by Window World. My experience with this company was excellent from the initial visit with the salesman to the final installation. The original installation date was to have been in October, but the windows were ready in late August! The installers were on time, and finished the entire job in about 3 hours. My brother-in-law inspected the windows and was really impressed with the professional caulking around each window. I know my home will be quieter year round and toastier in cold weather. My neighbors recommended Window World, and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in replacing their old drafty windows!

Great salesman great prices thats what were getting our windows from

Very much wish I would have gone with a different company, even if I had to pay more. The salesman explained their warranty, which was a big factor in my decision to go with Window World. However, after installation I found I was completely lied to and their warranty was nowhere near what I was originally told. I was also told my replacement windows would be custom made to fit the opening and would be exactly what I currently had but more energy efficient. To me, it appears the glass itself is one standard size and they just added more trim around the glass to fit the openings. I lost about 3 inches of glass on each side of my picture windows and more on my 3-casement. During shipment, one of the picture windows broke and they installed it anyway, not telling me until it was already in. The installers rescheduled numerous times before actually replacing the broken glass and when they did come, they started working on the window before I had even arrived home. Expressing my frustrations to the manager was a waste of time as he seemed very unconcerned about any of my issues. I’m very disappointed with this company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Not until we had this below zero weather and wind chill did I truly begin to appreciate our windows from Window World. Our other windows that we did not replace since they were replaced when the house was built prior to our home purchase were cold and difficult to stand next to. Our new windows did not allow the coldness to come in....highly considering replacing all the other windows in the future !

Great experience with Window World out of Fond du Lac. Marvin my sales rep was there the whole way making sure that everything was measured correctly and the final project went well. He was very knowledgeable and had my budget and goal in mind the whole time. The install went just as well got the whole house completed with over 20 non standards and old windows in just two days. Overall great experience and will definitely recommend and use again.Brian

A year ago i had a couple windows replaced and had a great experience. This summer i had a few more done and this time around not so much. One set of sashes were too small and didnt fit properly in the frame. Another sash had been damaged in shipment and had scratches and gouges on it and there was also a sash that had a bad seal and moisture developed in it. I will say that they were very willing to replace the sashes but the communication there is terrible. Between not bringing the right size sash and losing any record of needing to order a replacement i now have my 3rd appointment for them to come out and take care of this.

He listens to what the customer wants and is not pushy about the sale. Nate and his installation crew were friendly and efficient. They were very good at making sure they cleaned up after themselves. We had estimates done by a few business, but window world was by far the best. They sat down and showed us our options after measuring the windows we needed replaced instead of just leaving us a pamphlet and running. The men who installed our windows were pretty awesome too. They worked really fast and were very polite. We will be using them in the future when we finish remodeling!

I am very disappointed. (5/26) Mike Kuhl changed tree times the quote and every time the price went higher. When visiting his office he completely ignored me and rather talked to my neighbor who doesnt even need windows. About 14 days later when I visited Window World just by myself Mike Kuhl was very unfriendly until I paid cash. He again had changed the price. No installation service is required.After my above post of yesterday Mike Kuhl had the courtesy to call me today (5/27) and explained why the price changes. I am fully aware that special requested features add cost. We may have had several miscommunications. I accept the price as is and Mike Kuhl promised to have the window delivered.

Marvin is an incredibly good sales rep. He knows his product and was always looking out for us. The price was $3000 lessfor same quality windows as Feldco. Installers were awesome too. 3 guys had put in 13 windows and did a great job in about 4 hours. Very satisfied customer here!

The salesman ( Marvin ) was great and kept in touch with me. There were no surprise costs or anything else. The crew that came in were very professional and extremely polite. Ive beenba window world customer for years. They have replaced all my windows now. Just had 5 more done and the installers did an excellent job installing and cleaning up. Even replaced some of my older sashes from previous installations year ago. Highly recommend!!

Window world did a great job removing and installing my entry door. They also installed a new storm door purchased by me. They prepaired the work area by coving all areas with tarps and after the job was completed, did a complete clean up of the area.Before they left, they asked if I was satisfied with there job and if I had any questions.Yes they do windows, but installing entry doors are also one of the things they do best!

I had 12 Windows installed last year and I rated this company very well at the time. I was impressed with the diligent workers and even though it was two hard working guys and one guys teenage daughter, they seemed to know what they were doing. There was a request and emphasis to fill out a review as soon as possible and I complied. Over the course of days, I discovered that I issued a very good review to soon.Six of the windows were installed so poorly that there were visible gaps blowing November air into the house. I had to stuff the openings with paper towel until they could finally get out to make adjustments and repairs. The wood jams on the inside of the house were also reinstalled so poorly that they were sticking out beyond the mouldings. A crew came out and made the proper adjustments. This was another full day job. Once again, The workers were courteous people. (Same group.)After a short time, my wife noticed that one of the windows reworked upon had a small crack in a corner. I called in and after some lengthy time period and a few calls in, they finally got a replacement window and replaced the cracked one.Now I will be calling in again. Please note that this all took place in less than a year. The two bedroom windows, top windows, have been weak and slide down to where they need to be held up in order to lock. I went to lock them today and surprise! They dont lock! The thumb locks turn to the proper position, but they dont lock!I give the one star for the nice job they did with the exterior caulk. Oh, wait, I did have to call them back to replace areas where they originally failed to install caulk!.............................................................................................................................................................Further follow up on the above issues. As much as the initial experience did leave a bad taste, I must admit that follow up from the company was exceptional. The manager came and addressed the sloppy window sashes on the two windows and both he and the sales person stated that the problems initiated by poor workmanship were seriously addressed. (All the above issues were a result of the original installation and do not represent the product.)After repairs and adjustments were made, the windows are functioning as they should. They look nice and although they are not the “Cadillac of the industry” they are very good functionally to cost value. No other estimates I received from several other companies came close.If it helps any review readers render a decision, I am considering having four to seven more windows installed by the same company. I have been satisfactorily reassured that the next windows will be the best value and WILL be done right the first time. If they are installed with the care of the management and the salesperson, I am sure the next review will read much better. My review has been changed from one star to four stars, it may go to five if the next purchase meets satisfaction the way complaints were addressed and reassurance has been strongly conveyed. Very nice installer and explained to us how the handle our new windows. Cleaned up after themselves so I didn’t have walk around the yard picking up left over debris.

What a joke i just got a quote 700 bucks for one average size window. Plus there booked till winter unless i buy more then 4. They could have told me that part over the phone. I have one simple window thats broken guy even said it be around a hours worth of work. Unreal the disposal fee would be 150! One window the glass is already busted!
