I went there to get ambient lighting in my car on the door panels and dash... I was told they wouldnt be able to fit and that they could refer me to someone that would charge me $3,000.... went somewhere else and they were able to install it with no issue for a fraction of the price.... either the person didnt want to be bothered or they just didnt know how to do it, which they shouldve just said that over the phone so I wouldnt have wasted my time driving over there

Bought set of speakers and they asked me they could install for an extra fee, this was my first time going here so I agreed and when they were done I trusted them and I left. The next day I realized they looked like my old speakers I unscrewed it and not a single new speaker installed. So for 2 hours they installed nothing. I went back and they claimed they forgot but how come they didnt forget to charge me. Hmmm.

I went over there over a month ago on a Sunday, i asked about a navigation system for my husbands car, they told me it could be done in a couple of hours but they needed and extra part and they needed to order it, they asked me to leave a deposit of $50 dollars to order the part, i told them i would leave the $100 instead so they would have the part on time because we dont have too much time to spend on this because of work. they guy also told me it would be ready by Wednesday i told him it was ok that i would be back on Sunday so everything should be fine. my husband went over there next Sunday they took the car and installed the system without the part they were supposed to order, they didnt tell my husband that they didnt have the part, they just put the system on. before looking at it my husband paid (over a $1000) and went to see the car. then they told him that they didnt have the part and he will have to wait until next day. he came home and show me and the back camera was not working, the volume, controls were not working and it basically looked horrible. i told him ok we will just go on Thursday and get it finished. on Monday afternoon i called to ask if they were ready to finish it and they told me that they did not have the part yet that they will have it for sure on Wednesday, i asked them please dont play with our time. so we waited until Sunday just to make sure they had enough time and again on sunday we called and nothing on top of that the guy his name is mike was very rude when we complained about the lack of responsibility about finishing the job. we really wanted to finish it somewhere else but we already gave him the money and they told me ALL SALES ARE FINAL EVEN IF THE JOB IS NOT COMPLETED we were really frustrated and nothing else but wait, finally by Wednesday we took the car over there they open at 10 and they told me it would be a 1 hour job but when ask how long they said it would take 3 hours so we had no other option but go to work late, finally we pick it up and of curse we were in a hurry and just took the car and we were kind of glad we didnt have to deal with this any more, but when we got home we realized the usb charger and the connection to the phone was not working, when we came back and asked about it they said they did not have they part and again forgot to mention it. we are still waiting for the job to be finished and when we call there is always somebody rude or complete clueless of what we are talking about, they blame each other and at the end is nobodys fault, they said they will call back but they never do, very disappointing experience with this guys for a job which full price was paid on time, not recommended at all

Went here today to see about a new 4 channel amp for my car, pulled up banging(2 L7s in the back so they knew I was serious. Walked in nothing, no greeting, no NOTHING I could have walked out with stuff. Looked around for literally 5-6 min. Decided I was done, then stopped at the L7 quad box that was on display cause I was amazed they had it and that Ive seen it in real life. Still nothing. There was a older gentleman up there on the phone, with a younger kid that was probably doing school work, and another gentleman waiting for his stuff to get done. They worked on my car about 15 years ago and the work was great, dont know whats happened since then.

I was upset at first I was going to give them a very bad review but I thought Id give them a chance to make it up to me and boy did they make it up to me so thats why Im giving them a five-star review they put in the wrong speakers in my door but when I came back to put the right ones in they put even better speakers in my door than the ones I paid for so I think these guys deserve a five-star they admit to their wrong doings they apologize not only did they make it right but they put even better speakers in my door thank you guys very much I will be back

I called prior to my visit asked about replacement of my rear speakers in my car and gave them year, make and model of my car and they told me no problem and to come down, so I did and signed the work permit and waited for 2 hours until they told me they didnt have the speakers that fit my car, but they would have them shipped out from their warehouse in 4 days. What a waste of time

BEWARE of this business. Once they take your money they will dodge you. When something goes wrong they dont bother to help. My speakers blew after 1 week. Had me waiting in the lobby for 3 hours until I decided to go somewhere else. They’re slow and all they do is smoke weed.

Went here a couple months ago for a set of wheels and they took weeks on weeks and just kept giving us dates to come back and kept extending it having us drive down there just for them to tell me that, bad customer service and brought me some wheels i didnt even order and just left me that option also got an alarm system installed by them completely installed the first one wrong came back and they didnt have that same one so i had to wait, came back again had it installed and they broke my steering wheel dash and just glued it back on and completely overcharged on everything very bad service overall

These guys are the best in Fontana though I live in Riverside, I recommend them to everyone, I bought my audio player from China and they installed it professionally in place of my frustrating 2002 Toyota Prius OEM old disc player finally, I am so damn happy :D

I had problems with my sub and amp and they didnt seem to care since I already paid them. Beware of going to get business done here. I recommend you buy they’re speakers but (Do Not) get them installed here. They will put you last even though you paid them already. Workers are very slow, maybe because it smelled like weed while I was waiting for my car to be done. Thats why they work so slow. They’re high all the time. Leave the smoking till after work. Work is work. Horrible way to run a business.

Just got my 76 truck back from California sound they hooked it up with a new amp new radio custom sub box at a affordable cost!! Highly recommended!! I thought I knew the problem, but it turned out to be something else. they could have charged me a lot more but they were honest, so that’s why I recommend it!Their price’s sound as good as their systems. 😈

I went in for a car alarm issue and they dealt with it. I paid less than I thought they were going to ask for. I am so happy. Will treated me right. This is one more reason to avoid the dealership. They even replaced the batteries in my key fobs with no extra charge. I brought in the batteries, but it was a whole thing to swap them, and I didnt want to break them. It was nice that the price quoted was the price paid, with no nickel and diming nonsense.

This is one of the best stereo stores around. They offer the best equipment for your car, truck, SUV, dune buggy and motorcycle. Their prices are average but their installation is great. Your vehicle has a factory look when your new stereo is installed. Just recently my factory antenna and antenna base was vandalized on my car. I ordered a new set from my dealer and I went to California Sound for installation. I was prepared to wait 2-3 hours, but, they did the job in 45 minutes! They charged me very little money to install the items. Management and staff are friendly and very helpful. If you want a new stereo or new speakers or you need a repair on your antenna like I did, then I highly recommend California Sound. I give them 5 stars! Thank you California Sound.

My husband had originally applied for credit at the Hesperia California sound location back in August 2019 but decided to not purchase anything. I was reviewing his credit and it showed he had a balance for almost $1500 that was made at this location (Fontana) in January 2020 according to the bank. I checked with him first before calling the bank to verify if he went back but he said he didnt. I called the bank from this account and they will be doing a fraud investigation on this since we didnt purchase anything from them. (Very shady not verifying they have the correct individual or willingly knowing).

Great customer service, Mike & Charles where great to work with. Came in for speakers for my can am & I told them I would install it myself. Came to find out i was way over my head. Called up the Fontana store. & they sent Charles out to see what I was struggling with because I thought I got sent the wrong stuff. Charles and the team were great not only to me but also my buddy that got a system done by them. My speakers ended up blowing and they told me bring them in and they replaced them same day. I’ll always come to the Fontana store. Great people, very friendly, and helpful . Speakers were a good price and they weren’t pushy about buying something. 5 stars for me.

Do your research on sound systems before coming here and spending your hard earned money. Came in looking for simple cheap speakers nothing fancy and me thinking theyre honest I took them at their word for what the speakers are worth. Later I find out the speakers are worth around $30 and they sold it to me for a little more than double that. They said they dont sell any cheap stuff and I guess they meant they overprice their stuff. So if you come here, know what youre buying first.

Really bad service, I went there to get a navigation system for my car, they trick me into paying them without finishing the job and took a whole month to get it installed but they did not finish it and i have been waiting for over two months for them to finish it

Bad installation. They used a kit. They used the wrong hardware for the wires to connect to the amp. The power cable was connected to the alternator...they almost burned out my equipment. I took it to SOUND SCAPE in Downey. They cleaned up the hack job California sounds did. I would of posted pics but I wasnt planning on putting cali sounds on blast. Now I am cuz I had to redo the installation

Took my car at 9:30 am and it wasnt ready until after 6:00 pm to install a radio? I called at noon and they said it was almost done. Some guy that arrived after me got his car before 5:00 pm. If they dont have the personnel to attend to all the customers they shouldnt take any cars in. Seems like they just take all they want and worry about getting it done later. Very annoying having to wait here after I was told it would be a few hours job.

I bought a very expensive stereo unit, speakers and an amp about a month ago, from the Fontana store. The unit is very nice, however, when it came to the installation, it took 3 trips to the store to fix issues with it. One issue from day one, was the unit had a rattle after installation. They tried, but failed to resolve the problem. They’re supposed to be professional, BUT I FIXED IT.Then, Mike, promised to include a grill for the subwoofer. Every time I called, he said he ordered it. YEAH RIGHT! To this day, NO GRILL. It doesn’t take 4 weeks to order a damn grill.Needless to say, I will never do business with these people again.HEAR THAT MIKE? NEVER AGAIN!

Prices are great, but their quality of work is laughable...we decided on giving them a shot despite some bad reviews, and were we mistaken! The people are nice to get your business, but cant even take the time to resolve minor issues to ensure a happy customer! Dont waste your time, pay a little more for quality work.

Ok prices, some of the employees are rude and look like they hate working there. Got a system put in my truck and now my window wont roll down and my door open indicator is on. Easy fix I did myself but they told me to come back to fix it. Id rather not waste the gas and time off work. System does sound good though.

These guys know what customer service is about. Most places wont even look at you if you arent spending a couple grand on a system. Not these guys, treated me like I was the only customer they had as soon as I walked in the door. Was only looking to spend a couple hundred bucks on an alarm and a Bluetooth head unit for my sisters car. These guys hooked me right up with what I needed and even read the code for me on the check engine light and cleared it. I plan to do a lot more business here. One stop shop for all your customizing needs.

Their work is subpar. They installed a stereo unit into my dash with missing parts and promised to call when the parts arrived but never did. When I called about it they pretended like they didnt know what I was talking about. I was left to buy and install the rest of the parts on my own. They broke a number of clips on my dash so now my dash is permanently loose and shakes when I hit any bumps on the road. They are completely unprofessional and lack the knowledge to properly install equipment without damaging your vehicle. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

They absolutely ruined my sons car. The molding doesnt even fit the stereo properly. He paid for a particular amplifier and they gave him one of less quality. He paid to have a alarm system put in they never put it in. They grounded the amplifier straight to the battery without a kill switch so now his battery goes dead all the time. We try to have them fix it its been 4 months and were still arguing with the people. We will most likely have to take this to court.Very BAD customer service. They blow you off when they are in the wrong.Not a good place to go

All I can say is people are tired of excuses when they bring their car in and you put them off and you take the money but yet you dont deliver in the merchandise or do what you supposed to do to they cars and they have to keep bringing their cars back over and over again for the same issue, you would be better off getting new management or closing your shop people are so tired of people ripping them off and doing them wrong!!! youre the biggest on the food chain. Their quality of work is relative to their current customer service. Window tint will turn purple within two years; although they give lifetime warranty they will brush you off as long as possible. I had to call and pretend it was a new tint instillation for them to finally set up the appointment. Had a car alarm installed which later had to be adjusted by another company because they installed it improperly. Asked for a quote for a truck lift, reverse cam, and stereo instillation they gave me misdirected answers. I highly do not recommend taking your vehicle here. 2 stars is because the California sound at the old location were a lot more passionate about their quality of work. This one is 🚮

Terrible experience. Very unprofessional customer service. Be Aware, front desk personnel turns into an intimidating attitude as soon as you return an item. They claim to have no money back, store credit only policies. When you try to debate their store policies due to fail to explain their return policies upfront they turn comfrontive and aggressive.

If I could give no stars I would. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went in to receive a radio installation kit for Honda civic. First, they gave me the wrong installation kit which I could let slide becausw mistakes happen. They then gave a us a double din kit which works but we came in looking for a single din. Upon returning the kit it was then I was confronted about the NO MONEY BACK policy. They stated that they could only do store credit, or that i make due with the kit they gave me or have them order me the kit I wanted in the first place. They DID NOT mention the NO Money back policy when I was purchasing the kit which is something that should be mention if that is the stores policy. They left me no choice but to drive to San Bernandino to receive the kit I needed because today was my only day to have my radio installed.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER.If you want to feel threatened when you have a valid concern, then this would be the place to go. If you want them to break your things and blame you for being too stupid to understand the difference between somthing that works and somthing that does not, go here.I came here to get a ddx9903s stereo(over $600) installed for my 2012 honda accord. I dropped off my car and came back to the store to pickup my car. When i entered the store, the owner, the manager and installer were waiting for me. The first thing they said to me was have you been experiencing trouble with your speakers( i took my car in with all my speakers working, i have had my car since it was new and i never had issues with my speaker) i told them no, i have never had issues with my speakers, so if they could fix what they did that would be great. They began to laugh at me, stating that i came in with it broken and that it was my problem.they also started to curse and step in my face as if to challenge me physically. Again, the point is if a customer comes into your place of business with a concern, you do not treat them as if they are theifs trying to take free service, or your homeboys you grew up with. You treat customers with respect and you handle customer service issues with patience. When you have a customer service issue, you try to help the client find solutions, you dont become defensive and hostile trying to find excuses to cover yourself. If you dont like customer service then you should close down your business. AGAIN DONT COME HERE, YOU WILL BE DISRESPECTED, AND YOUR CONCERNS WONT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!!!!

If a no star rating existed id choose that. Dont come here .. Had paid for 4 new door speakers, 2 amps 2 subs epicenter and lc2 .. The next day i took off my seats to see their work and what you know . i was missing the lc2. That put me in doubt so i took it back to them, made them remove my door panels and what you know, i STILL had stock speakers connected to amp!. They didnt even swap them out . when i told them what happened man? Is this how you scam people? His response was we didnt have time yesterday to complete your job 😂 so now i have them reinstalling everything as we speak

I got my audio system installed there, rims nd tires, nd an alarm system too. The guys are real cool but they lack of communication. I went back there literally every day for a week to fix some adjustments needed nd still, as Im typing this rating, Im about to head over there because my subs went out :( I wasnt even bumping my music loud either, I just need this whole thing fixed ASAP so I wont have to ever NEED to get it fixed again.. But MIKE is the guy I go to, when hes there I feel like he really does look into a solution nd makes sure a customer leaves satisfied. :)
