It’s super annoying when I go into buy food the lady behind the counter will laugh or make remarks about what I am getting. I am someone with an eating disorder and her actions and remarks are going to offend the wrong person. It’s extremely unprofessional how she would laugh about what food or how much someone is buying. I’ve been in the store and heard her do it to other customers as well. I am not sure why she feels the need to make someone feel bad about themselves but I will not be returning.

Used to come here for smokes until recently. My workplace gives us masks to prevent people who are infected but have no symptoms from spreading the virus to coworkers, and since I take Trimet to and from work, they recommended I wear it during my commute as well. I walked in wearing it and the cashier didnt have one, which was fine, but then during my transaction, she started to berate me for wearing it, saying Im just scaring people and that the mask would MAKE ME sick. I was incredibly uncomfortable at being lectured like a child during my purchase, especially since all of my research says that her concerns are completely false. You cannot get sick from wearing the mask unless youre sharing masks (Im not), and the CDC is recommending masks for face-to-face contact whenever possible. I used to get good service from this cashier, but spreading misinformation during this time is almost as bad as spreading the virus itself, and I refuse to support it.
