Laughably bad customer service over the phone. Could barely understand the guy that just picked up as he was clearly having a conversation more important than the one with me and there were a ton of people talking in the background. I was asking very simple questions about if they would ship to an out of state FFL for a private sale I’m doing, and what the transfer fees were. The guy didn’t answer my questions at all and just said it was $40 for a transfer fee when they’re receiving. I asked if they had packaging material I could use there, he just ignored me and went back to his other conversation (I overheard something about “asking questions I don’t know the answer to”) and hung up about 5 seconds later. I’m assuming this place needs to pay better to recruit better employees, incompetence isn’t really acceptable for gun stores and ranges when mistakes can result in legal ramifications, injury, or death.

Had alot of fun at this location it was nice to see an all black staff they made the atmosphere very comfortable and they were very helpful with me and my family needs.My wife and daughter got a few pointers from a young lady by the name of niq who was very professional and fun for them to work with they cant wait to visit again

Came in to look at some guns and to use the range with my wife and the crew made us feel right at home they were very down to earth and fun to be around. My wife was a first time shooter so the young lady Uniqua let her know that she would help her out on the range she made my wife feel very comfortable and my wife had so much fun and learned so much that we also purchased her very first gun which ms Uniqua helped her pick out. We will most definitly be coming back to this location

The staff in the front very helpful as I filled out my paperwork to purchase a gun but however it was a used gun without the magazine the manager on duty went and got the inventory manager who refused to include a magazine in the case with the gun which had the empty magazine box in it…. This is very bad business because I am a paying customer that just wanted to purchase a firearm

Actually not a bad place to practice. The staff can be straightforward at times but heck were dealing with guns, not kids toys. So I expect them to be straight to the point with a little personality. I usually practice once every two weeks, so Ive noticed the computerized upgrades on two of the 3 rooms. They do have a selection of guns to rent. However, I havent rented one of their guns since purchasing multiples myself. Unfortunately the new gun inventory is low and expense (yes the inventory was low before the influence of Covid-19). Please double your inventory and realize prices have dropped...

I stopped by the range to try my new AR for my birthday in late February. I was a complete novice, but Daniel made my experience very enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my AR was home-defense ready. My gun jammed several times, but he was super patient and attentive, and gave the best customer service I have seen at any gun range. Thanks so much for helping me enjoy my special day!

This is such a great establishment! It was foreign territory for me, but with the help of an employee by the name of JP, I was able to grasp a better understanding and appreciation for firearms and the safety that accompanies them all while deciding to buy my own which he helped me with as well. 10/10 experience, definitely would go back again!

Came to this place for the first time. Walked to the door and was only stared at by employees. I’m waiting outside not knowing if there is a limit of customers that can be in at a time or even greeted with just a moment. After 10 mins an employee walks out with customers and didn’t even greet me or anyone else standing outside and says we are blocking the door. Proceeds to take a smoke a break and play on his phone. I was here to purchase a gun for my first time. This was a terrible experience for me and I wouldn’t do business here.

Walked in and all 5 employees were playing on there phone. Stood at the counter for a while minute then said, hello. Then they act like I was the one with the attitude. I asked for some ammo and the guy put one box on the counter, can I get another box or is it a one box limit? His responds was, u can have how ever many you want just make your mind up. I just walked out. Last time I come here. They way they acted, Im sure they wouldnt care .. smh

Very unprofessional staff, very ghetto. There were like 7 employees when we walked in all just sitting behind the counter. Was told to go back outside and wait, after about 10 people coming out over a 30 minute period. We still had to wait. Plus its about 90 degrees outside. Never got to go in at all. Personally id just pass this place up with the current staff and customer service.

Under new management, upgrades, attentive customer service this could possibly be a good store. I walked around the store and stood at the gun counter at least 20 minutes with no service. Between the guys eating behind the counter and hanging out on their phones, customers go unnoticed. This wasnt my first time coming here to purchase or get service to leave with a bad experience. Cant see spending money on overpriced items with this place.

Very very unprofessional and ghetto. I showed up on Sunday 45 minutes before they closed. They packed up all the guns. When I entered I heard cussing and inappropriate work conversations. I asked for help and was told that they were about to close (in 45 minutes). I asked the lady with the braids “why is everything packed up when you guys close in 45 minutes”? Her response was along the lines of “I’m aware...and?” I have never been more disrespected by any one offering a service. I planned on purchasing 2 fire arms foe my place of business. WARNING!!! I’ve received piss poor service today. Was not greeted at all. As I arrive 7:00 on the dot. And they are supposed to take the last shooters at that time. I was not serviced. As I witnessed others go and sign the waivers to go into the range. I received a please come tomorrow as if I’m just full of time. 30 minutes to shoot and y’all couldn’t take me. Unbelievable the range closes at 8. So what’s my 30 when all I need is a target. I had my own guns and bullets.

Short and sweet for you. Got flagged twice with handguns. Twice I said something and they got mad at me for calling them out. Again, got flagged twice with handguns that had a magazine in with the action closed. Please stay away, the staff is simply dangerous.

Customer service needs tightening. The guy who buzzed me in walked away from the counter. I arrive at the counter, there was another guy sitting behind the counter, looks at me and returns to his cell phone. Then has the nerve to ask me 30 seconds later if I am being helped. I said no. He directed me to sign in, no forms. Yall need to get it together.

Horrible service. I even think this staff invented ghetto service. They are terrible, they know it and don’t seem to care. I get it. Not their money, investment, it’s the owner’s problem.

Mixed feelings about this place. The building is very old and so are the facilities. The lanes and everything else needs urgent updating and even renovating. The targets are mounted on a cable mechanism which is fluffy and makes hanging the targets difficult as the bounce up and down... Staff was nice and cooperative for a change...

Honestly when it came to knowing about guns out of the 6 people there, I feel like only two people knew what they were talking about. I’m in the so I have knowledge on a lot of weapons. On top of that I felt they didn’t want to help me because as I am standing at the register to buy my eyes and ears. Everyone immediately walks away and when someone else walks in help them and answers there questions. Luckily I forgot my card so I couldn’t give them my service. I would only go back to buy a gun that I want. Nevermind as I am typing this I changed my mind I don’t wanna see there faces again.

Staff is helpful especially Calvin and Danny. Danny makes holsters on site fresh to order in under an hour and any color variation! Calvin was very helpful and patient assisting me with sourcing a few accessories. Allot of their firearms and ammunition (unfortunately like many others) are over priced but a few of the options here are exorbitantly high! For example; a SCCY CPX-2 is approximately $500.00 (God forbid you want the one with the Crimson Trace red dot mounted) after tax, and is a sub-$300.00 pistol at most places. I can understand a little inflation to make some extra money during this time but thats extreme. Coupled with a lack of professionalism and a dash of arrogance/disrespect from some of the other staff members... Overall not the best experience considering what you pay. More safe options at the pleasant dale road location. They can do better overall.

Customer Service is acknowledging people when they come in, not waiting for them to tell you what they came in for like wheh? We were so excited to go to the range, we were helped my Danny who was the most polite, informative person in the building. But unfortunately there was a very rude lady Nya who ruined our whole experience by not only judging our appearance out loud in front of the entire store, but also vocalizing how young we looked to the rest of the staff. They laugh which was humiliating. Then she also forced a refund on us due to our appearance. I felt very discriminated against and I will not be returning. I do want to again say Danny is the best and should look for a different range with a staff who are as professional as him.

Stopped by while in Atlanta for business. There are plenty of ranges to visit but I initially picked this one due to the proximity to the airport and to avoid rush hour. Im glad I did!!! Its not the most hitech in ranges but the range is well lit, ventilation is good, and staff is very friendly. Next time Im back in town, Ill stop by again.

Staff tonight was rude and told us if we get there by 6:45pm we would be able to get in. According to the website it says that last shooters are accepted a hour before closing. We arrived at 6:40pm and staff told us that they had cleaned already and wasnt accepting anymore shooters because they didnt want to clean again for the night. They also said they wanted to go home. I wasted my gas and my time coming after I was told we would be able to get in. I am highly disappointed in the unprofessional manner in which your staff conducted themselves. Ive been here before and never had this experience. At this point I dont even know if I want to continue business with your company.

HORRIBLE!!! I came in on a Sunday to shoot at 4:19pm the business closes at 6:00 pm I called before arriving and got a machine that stated that shooters are accepted up to an hour before closing time. When I got there and asked to shoot the poorly dressed staff said “we are done taking shooters for today because we have a class” how are customers supposed to know that they won’t be able to shoot when they arrive ?! Why not put that on your answering machine or website or better yet just have staff that actually answers the phone. Staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. A waste of time and misleading information!!! Not coming back!

Today was my first visit and I had great first impressions. First, because of COVID I appreciated the extra precautions the range took to keep everyone safe. Secondly, the staff had excellent customer service, they were friendly, the atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming. They had a great amount of stalls to shoot in for long guns and handguns. I’ll be going back tomorrow.

Everything is over priced. Guns, ear plugs, eye protectors. EVERYTHING. Be sure to search other places before you buy something on impulse. I made the mistake of having a gun shipped here. My tracking said the gun was delivered but I called all day anyway to make sure the gun was there. No one answered the phone so I drove through Atlanta traffic to get there and the guy wouldn’t let me in even though he said it was an hour and a half before closing. No reason given. He didn’t care. Save money and Go somewhere else.

Called about a safe purchase I was at the range last week the lights went out while I was looking at a safe that I wanted to buy called back a few days later joe picks up the phone I asked two questions one being was that the last safe they had at the price quoted and and do they have anymore. Joe says that he believes that’s the only safe left at that price he says next sir I gotta go we busy I was like wow I wanted to but 4 safes due to the amount of weapons I have and because of my YouTube channel wow he has to go any one want to bet me my purchase of 4 safes would have beat there “ I want to shoot in the range” total for a entire week any takers

Love this location because its not busy at all. They have very great knowledge of the guns and they tend to help you a lot when it isnt busy at all. I will tell every one to come to this location and to practice here. I been here with a Groupon and without Groupon and had an excellent time. Its no rush when you are shooting and no over you rushing you either. Great guns and ammo for a awesome price. I took advantage of the $25 Groupon special and bought addition bullets for $17 bucks. Go to this location and experience it for yourself you cant go wrong at all. This place value their customers.

Decent selection, but poor service. Found the products I needed, went to stand at the counter to check out. Instead of choosing to ring me out, they continued to service people walking in the door trying to use the range. It would have taken 2 minutes to ring up the one thing I had in my hand but they seemed to care more about the people walking in the front door. Left without buying anything.

OK, selection. Lots of knowledgeable workers. I had a good vibe in the beginning, but then got to see how their customer service really is. Good customer service, if you really dont need much service. They quickly become impatient, and will talk about you behind your back and snicker at you if you ask to many questions. I was on of the last customers there and knew they were talking about me after I asked one too many questions. I came from the bathroom and they were stopped talking and were looking at me out the corner of their eyes and smirking. I felt like I was the knew kid in a middle school. Very clicky, not good for a beginner if you have many questions. This is regarding the south branch. Perhaps the North shop has better customer service. There is so many gun shops that will teach you what you need to know.. newbies should avoid this one.

First time going to this range. My wife and I wanted to go and test out a new gun we purchased, almost brought my 13 year old to give him a chance to learn a little...glad I didnt, and we wont be going back. I recommend anyone going or considering, please be careful going there. Some of the staff we encountered seemed uncomfortable and very threatening. I was yelled at by one staff member and another actually lectured me when i asked to purchase bullets. And in the process assumed I would shoot him and one of his coworkers across the room...after i asked to buy bullets.

Dope store, huge selection of ammo and reloading stuff you cant find anywhere. Good selection of guns as well and very friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly and intelligent. They are willing to take time out to answer any questions or explain even the smallest things without an arrogant attitude like so many other ranges around carry. I have visited all of our local ranges and I highly recommend this location over any other by far. Even the customers are willing to engage in friendly conversation. This is my favorite weekend getaway. If you havent been, please take the time to go check it out. They even have machine gun rental, which is an awesome experience, for those that are curious to mark that off your bucket list. With two to choose from you cant go wrong so please go try it out and give yourself that much needed alone time or teach your loved ones how to safely operate any firearm. After all the safest firearms are the ones in the hands of an experienced handler. Not the ones that are locked away.

We ordered a gun online and shipped it to the Forest Park location. Weve tried to get our gun for 3 days and they wont even let it purchase customers only range customers. Well never come back here again. The worst customer service Ive experienced in years.

This is a great place to go. The two employees that help me out were Dennis and mike . These guys gave me and my family a experience we will never forget. Respectful and knowledgeable about everything. Even a few good jokes here and there . All in all the service was amazing and they will definitely see us again . Every time I come to this range it’s always a good experience but I went on Feb. 2, 2019 with a group of family and friends Mr. Strozier was VERY helpful and professional... The problem Came with the (HEAVYSET WHITE GUY WITH GLASSES) one guy had already charged us for eye and ear protection and passed them out to everyone but 2 of the packs didn’t have earplugs in them so we brought it to the HEAVYSET WHITE GUYS attention and he instantly thought we was trying to get them without paying I had to show him the guy that gave them to us, once the guy confirmed that we had paid the HEAVYSET WHITE GUY literally threw them on the counter and said “here take Them” like we were dogs or something we left them where they was and got 2 more off the rack VERY DISRESPECTFUL

Very unorganized, went on a Friday, waited over an hour and a half for Ronnie to give me a class only to be told by Ronnie to return on Sunday for a free lesson due to inconvenience. Called on Sunday and was told Ronnie is available. Got up there and Ronnie is in the middle of a class and says ill see you tomorrow at 12:15. Unorganized and unprofessional. Very bad first impression, will be going to another range.

Very bad service from the people at the front desk I been there a few times this time was the only one the employees give me a hard time. I know they don’t need my money but there is more shooting range.They made me move my motorcycle because I was parked at the front of the place after I removed all my gears and I move my motorcycle they said they don’t take any more costumers and they Can said that before they told me to move my vehicle any way we will go to another shooting range where they appreciate business better.

I have been there several times and have had a great experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. The times I were there was slow so I was able to take my time work on things without being rushed to finish.With the response to some of the other reviews I will say this. If you are working around weapons and ammo it take a certain level of professionalism. This is not your locate grocery store. People can get hurt if the staff does not do their job. Just because they dont stroke your ego doesnt mean they are bad people. You just know how to act when you go there.

Great place for beginner shooters. They even give you a safety briefing. One problem tho idk know if they were just that short staffed or what but when I told one of the staff members that my 9mm was jammed they did not come to unjam the gun. Even when they were done with the customers... so you might have to stay on them some of them kinda acted like they didnt want to work or just because I wasnt wearing tight fitting clothing with long weave😑 but I guess for the most part they are laid back great selection of firearms.

This range is close to my house and convenient. However, I just started coming for practice since I purchased my pistol from them a few years ago. I dont feel as certain staff members are the most helpful or nice to newbies to this facility as they are to the regulars. He just seemed so dry and nonchalant when speaking to me. I didnt feel welcomed at all. Years ago when I purchased my pistol the other guys were more helpful and nice. Im ex military and Im not new to shooting or the range but I need practice and I would like to feel wanted when I come here especially when Im giving them my money. Hopefully the next time will be better or Ill have to find somewhere else.

Very rude. Emailed them beforehand to see if reservations were allowed. Were told first come first serve. When we arrived, were told one of our group could not shoot because all lanes were reserved. Asked if we could split into two groups since we came separately, and told no. Obviously dont want your business.

The guys here are awesome. Nice, knowledgeable, willing to help. Im a novice shooter and unfortunately jammed my gun on the first round. The young man working not only fixed the issue, cleaned it, and fired a round to make sure everything was functional, but also dropped lots of knowledge on how to deal with it going forward

They NEVER answers the phone,and Ronnie is disrespectful. Their gun transfers takes forever. I called them before I got a gun transferred because I didnt see them listed as an FFL but I had used them before. After getting the ok to transfer from them, I got an email saying their licences had expired and the gun company I was purchasing from needed an updated copy. I called and told them and Ronnie answered the phone and told me that the gun company suppose to contact them and he hung up in my face. Ill never shoot at their range again or do transfers or purchase guns.

This was my first time going to a gun range and my first time touching a gun of any type. I was very nervous and one of the associates talked me through the entire process. Made me comfortable and ready to go back again.

Ive been here three times and Ive had both a good experience and a bad one. Over all the customer service was mediocre at best the first time, but thats ok because I learned a lot. Second time was meh, also not much to write about. The third time though, staff was rude af. They had to call me in because of the 2 hour wait; not sure why it took so long and why there isnt a time limit on how long a customer is inside right now to keep things moving, but ok, whatever--understand social distancing and what not. I get it.However, when I got to the door it took minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me before unlocking the door me. No one greeted us. Then the short man had some sort of complex (I think hes a midget but I dont want to mislabel), he was rude from beginning to end. The lady that works there was nice and helpful, but thats about it. The short guy really brings this place down, they should seriously reconsider his employment.If it wasnt for him this place could be a 3-4, its not a fancy place but the staff that are willing to be respectful are knowledgable and its a safe place to shoot. Ill be looking for another place to go though.

Bought a package on groupon and decided to come to this location (not knowing anything about Forest Park...)First of all, a sketchy van rode very close to me for about half a mile while I was pulling up to the location. They then parked right next to me and watched me, waiting for me to get out of my car. I waited for my boyfriend to pull up and when they saw that we knew each other they left. I really would not consider this place safe to go alone, especially as a female.Secondly, you have to be 21 to shoot a pistol so we could not even use the voucher + they didnt even let us shoot a rifle or shotgun so we left. Just an overall bad experience.

Ive been here a few times and this place is mediocre at best. Employees might act like they dont see you or have poor firearms knowledge. When I looked at buying a safe their prices and selection was poor compared to nearly everywhere else. The safe delivery service was also unreasonably priced. When I visited the gun range the other shooters didnt look experienced at all which made me nervous about safety. I didnt stay at the range very long. On the plus side the selection of used guns looked pretty good and the prices on those were fair. Ammo was overpriced like most gun stores.I wouldnt tell people not to go here, but there are much better ranges and firearms shops in Atlanta. If you live close to Range, Guns & Safes and dont want to drive elsewhere then this place will work fine for you.

My overall experience here was great. I came in only knowing how to load my gun and had never shot one. The guys here were really helpful and patient. They have great customer service and i will definitely be coming back regularly.

I came to this business looking for gun bluing solution for non ferrous metals. Wish I could have asked the associate his name. Came in he immediately asked if I needed assistance, and proceeded to help me look through the available bluing solutions they carried. I ended up leaving empty handed, but worth that being said the customer service was great!

This is a great range the guys here have great knowledge about firearms and safety is always the main thing they talk about. The only thing negative I may have is they only have two rifle lanes. But its one of the only ranges open on Sunday. Over all great place.

I was a victim of a car jacking back in 93,I was scared of guns the guys at the range helped me so much to over come my fear of guns. They still help me to this day. I now have three guns from them. Before deciding what pistol I was interested I wanted to test some out. So I went here on a date and tested out the ones I was more interested in. The beat part was with the rentals I had the opportunity to test and get a feel for the weapons. Strongly recommend trying the gun range rentals for dates or any occasion. If you decide to purchase a safe A weapon or ammo the prices are good.P.s. groupon save you a little bit on the range!

Maurice and ronnie were very knowledgeable and helpful now they hired some young folks who dont know enough about guns. I like this place but come on.

Staff(the two black guys) were rude and disrespectful no type of concern or Customer service skills very cocky .... The White guy was very nice and showed alot of customer service skill and acted like he wanted my business this is surprising considering Im black myself. The range is good no problems was able to shoot and had a good time after that

Worst range ever. The owner is really rude and cocky. He threatened to put a loaded gun to my friends head. He thought I was gone and didnt realize that I was listening to him the whole time. When he saw me he jumped up and acted like nothing happened. The location is very sketchy and I really dont feel safe there at all. Please dont waste your time or money for such poor customer service. Im not sure if that was the owner or not but he was a slim black guy with a low haircut. He was the one who made the nasty comment about putting a gun to my friends head. I would never lie about such a matter. Im only shearing this incident with everyone because I would hate for someone to get hurt or have a bad experience like I did. There are plenty of shooting ranges in the metro Atlanta area so please choose a more professional and safer place to spend your money. Thank you!

First semi auto owner went there today with my new Sig that I bought somewhere else. Have fired semi auto pistols before but never owned one. Wanted to make sure I knew how to properly load and handle the gun. John took time with me answered questions showed my how to load had me try a couple of times to make sure I was good to go. I bought range time and practiced for awhile. Range itself is okay lots of spent shell casings all over the place, range cost fairly inexpensive, exterior parking lot is being worked on so when I arrived I wasnt sure they were open until I saw cars and heard the range fire from outside. Overall good experience John and the other staff were friendly and helpful. If physical condition were better I would rate higher. I will go back.

Not a 5 star place. Its old and in need of upgrading. Its been over 10 years since my last visit. It looks the same. If you just wanna shoot, it works. Nothing state of the art here but again, it works. Shoot safely my friends.

Great range with best lane price in town. Good ammunition prices, and the staff were very friendly. I have a range near my home but I drive all the way across town to give these guys my money.

I went with some family members and I got injured while I was there not only did only one person help while the rest of them laughed and ignored me they kicked us out after finding out a few of us were under 21 AFTER taking our IDS and the slip we filled out and AFTER we paid and he GAVE US RENTAL GUNS they kick us out after finding out we were under 21 so heads up they let underaged people shoot guns and they are not going to help you if you get hurt they have very passive aggressive smart mouthed workers and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Great experience at the range I usually go to there Tucker location but this was closer only thing I didnt really like which was fine because I was only there to sight in my scope was there no rapid fire rule. Will definitely go back.
