Checking out with the cashier I appreciate the staff customer service, they were welcoming, friendly and helpful with our orders. This location was clean and offers plenty of parking spaces.

I placed a curbside order at 1:45 p.m. for 7 p.m., I recieved my text at 6:45 that my order would be ready. Ive called and replied to the Ive Arrived link, but to my surprise its almost 8 p.m. with no balloons at all! I do not understand why this service is offered if the balloons will not be ready on time. I had my 3 yr old sitting in the car with me which is the reason for curbside pickup, convenient and faster service without coming in contact with Covid-19. It was 7:40 when I called back and someone stayed they would be coming out soon. At exactly 7:45 my balloons were delivered..Please have your curbside service canceled immediately if no one can work this position accurately. Thanks so much

Bought a costume accessories pack and as soon as I opened the top part where the glasses were attached one of the lenses fell out. When I tried to return it because of the broken part, mind you the hat and necklace were still sealed due to a three part sealed package. Well the associate told me I could not get a refund because it was opened, yet I explained to him when I opened it the lens fell out and it was clear the rest of the package wasnt opened or the items used, however he still said I could not get a refund for a 17.99 item so they forced me to do store credit and YES I HAD THE RECEIPT. Anywho an 11 dollar bag of fruit chews and one mask later AND IM LIVID, I WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE, THIS IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL. I AM NEVER SHOPPING AT PARTY CITY AGAIN.

Do not order from this store. Their online inventory says that everything is available and it isnt. Ive had 2 very bad experiences here. In 2018 I placed a large order my daughters bday party, received the ready for pick up notice, and got to the store, the order WASNT PACKED, and 90% of the items were OUT OF STOCK. Fast forward 2021, same thing happened except my order was reported as delivered. NO ONE DELIVERED THE ORDER. The manager tells me theyve had problems with delivers never arriving, in other words, your delivery drivers are stealing merchandise. DONT SHOP HERE. THEY SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY CLOSED!

This is what you get at this particular store!! The isles are filled with shipment (most from Halloween), the shelves are empty, the Christmas decor is non-existent, the floors are filthy, and only 2 cashiers during a very busy time!!!The staff was friendly, but REALLY??

It was a very nice experience for a quick run to party city 🥳. Surprisingly, there was a very friendly greeter. Idk if she was a greeter, she was blowing up balloons 🎈, I entered the store, she greets me then she helped with my wheelchair leg 👩🏽‍🦽 ... something so small but she made me smile 😁. The shopping experience was cool 😎. With the spacious isles it was easy to go up & down on the hunt for my items. I needed assistance with one item that was in their inventory, high up. The young lady grabbed a ladder, found the item. Now, I know it was her job to assist me, but theres doing the job & doing a superfluous job. My service was excellent! Thanks Forestville Party City, Id go back.

Considering it was Halloween Eve I was in and out fairly quickly. There were lines to get in and to to get my item that I had ordered online but they moved smoothly. Staff or busy but seem to have a good handle on dealing with all the customers

Whats listed in stock online does not reflect whats actually in the store. I am equally located to three of these stores and chose this one because it supposedly had in-stock what I needed, but didnt. Staff was friendly and helpful but store is dirty.

The absolute worst. They are extremely unprofessional here. For hours no one answered the phone. I had a delivery order by 4. At 8pm they called and told me to come get a refund. Didnt bother calling me to tell me where my order was. So there were no balloons for the three year olds birthday party. Despicable this store. I cant imagine how they are allowed to operate this way, but I will be trying to reach the corporate office.

Came to this location because online it listed everything I needed as “in stock”. I don’t get how NONE of the items were in the store when I arrived. Even while at the store I checked online AGAIN and it still said that the items were in stock, however shelves were empty and the employee stated they didn’t have it.

The curbside pickup is terrible and disorganized. Even on a Sunday morning when there’s very missy me customers, I tried calling them for my order and literally had to wait at least 30 minutes. Very slow service and bad customer service. Curbside requires people fast on their feet for it to work. Waiting for 30 minutes completely defeats the purpose.

Scheduled pick up for 8am a week in advance. Order wasnt even pulled to be blown up, waited for my order for 1 hour.

I placed an order online to get curbside pickup. It was 4 items, but when the store notified me that my order is ready for curbside pickup, they just have 2 of my items, other 2 was out stock, but online said they have in stock. So I went to pick up the order, and when I was outside the store, I called them, so they can bring my stuff outside, since I pick curbside pickup, but the lady on the phone told me I need to go inside to get my order. She said they dont have parking for curbside pickup. And if I park in front of the store Ill get a ticket. She made me go inside.So I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE THE CURBSIDE PICKUP OPTION, IF YOU STILL NEED TO GO INSIDE???

The store was cluttered, somewhat unorganized, and overpriced for sure however we were able to find the basics for our moms 70th surprise birthday party, the other items needed were purchased on Amazon... I suggest checking there first for bulk purchases.

Terrible service & store was unkept!

Definitely a bad experience especially during the COVID-19. I received an email stating my orders were ready for pick up. I arrived there an hour later just to be on the safe side. There was a group of people outside complaining that they received emails that their orders were ready and none of their orders were even done.I tried calling the number listed for curbside pickup however the phone is off the hook, no one can get thru the line......another hour has passed and I’m still waiting. The manager tells me they are fixing my order. Definitely unacceptable, don’t send emails stating the order is ready when it isn’t.I will never order online with this company ever again. Completely disorganized and the same people that work in the store keep coming out taking names down yet no orders at hand.

The shelves were just about empty. I went in looking for Black Panther decorations for my sons birthday party. There werent any. So I was checking to see what else they had since I know he also likes Pokemon. That was dang near empty along with everything else. The store was clean and the staff was friendly though which help to ease the disappointment.

The Manager at the Forestville, MD location on 10/26 @, 2pm was extremely professional. I saw her deal with a customer who thought she as a customer was entitled to preferential treatment. As the manager politely explained to the customer that Halloween is like the store busiest time. She apologized profusely to the customer but the customer wanted to accommodated with express service. The manager held her position and the customer awaited her turn. Applauds the manager.

Store is very unorganized. The staff do not seem to want to be at work doing their jobs. Most of them are occupied on their phones not paying attention. While I was there a staff member engaged in a verbal altercation with a customer. Their credit/debit card machine was out of service that day so it was cash only for the entire store. They didnt inform customers of this until they were at the register awaiting check out which was very inconvenient after sifting through items to find what you want, then standing in line, only to be told CASH ONLY .. Overall, they just need better staff and better organization.

Be aware of Party City new COVID-19 POLICIES.The Forestville location are misinformed about their COVID POLICIES and are giving this misinformation out to customers.I bought $50 worth of balloons for Fathers Day. Forestville location ran out of helium and sent me to another location in Woodmore. Woodmore then says that they couldn’t blow up my balloons because it was from another location and they had updated their COVID policies. The Forestville location did not make me aware or privy to their updated policies and I was furious they would send me on a run around for nothing. They could have very well sent me to Woodmore to just purchase everything. Thankfully James And Tanasia at the Woodmore location helped me and rectified the situation. I appreciate their willingness to make sure that I wasn’t panicking and they quickly came up with a safe solution. Be aware of their new policies before purchasing and going to different locations.

This store had everything I needed for our New Year celebration

Its very busy today, with it being Halloween and all. But they have a system set up thats working for them. *Heads up* know what costume youre looking for when you go in. Theyre using a number system on the costumes for better organization

The worst experience of my life I placed an order for curbside pick up and waited until the next day to pick up the items because I know theyre slow!It says to call and someone will bring your items to your car and will put them in your trunk ! Yeah that didnt happen and my order wasnt ready so I pretty much shipped around to find everything !!!!

Its never enough people working the registers. If you are going to scale back on staff the weekends are not the time to do it. Also i needed some clear shrink gift bag wrap and the guy went to the back and unpacked some boxes and found it for me. That was very nice if him around 5 15 pm

A huge store with a huge selection of party items, and most impressively, the store is incredibly well organized and clean. There are probably tens of thousands of items here and they all seem to be in the right place. They have a huge balloon selection up front. Aisles are clearly labeled so its easy to find what youre looking for.

I understand that theyre a costume and party store and that at a certain point they will do exchanges, but if a child can not fit an item before Halloween and they dont have the size you need they should offer a refund. This is not the case at this location

The store was filthy like a tornado had just blew through. There was only 3 people working and one person was coming balloon orders which the line was extremely long. There was hardly any product among the shelves. I was highly upset. The one positive was the lady who waited on us was very polite and apologized for the long wait.

Party City stays busy no matter the time of day! Its normally only two cashiers there with one ringing purchases and blowing up balloons nd the other just ringing.It holds up the lines and moves very slowww!! The bowie location is better equipped with staff and service.
