Very happy as a first time customer. I dropped my parts off to get powder coated and picked them up a few days later. The quality was spot on, the price was fair and the guys were friendly.

My experience with these guys was horrible. They had my truck for 8 months and kept on telling me it will be done next week. Finally I just stopped in and told them I want my truck back. My truck that had newly rebuilt motor barely made it home and i ended up having a electrical fire. I had them remove the motor ams rebuilt it and they were supposed to reinstall the motor with emission parts. The electrical fire was in the engine compartment. These guys costed me more money then it should have. I didnt even let them know because they probably wouldnt even care and I did not want them to touch my truck anymore. Anyways good luck people.

Goodding Performance and its team is rockstars, II have to say I read the other reviews and can not believe that Randy has done wrong by anyone, I have been going to this shop for years for repairs and have not had a problem, they unlike any other shop not only do a good job, treat you far but will call you up and let you know what is going on before doing the work.As many of us know if you take a car in for one thing and it has other things wrong most shops fix it and then say you wanted it done right didnt you? but Randy will make a call and ask you first to make sure you can afford it instead of putting you out.You do not find this at any other shop any more. He will also get you a ride if needed I know some shops do this, but most small independent shops do not. I will encourage anyone that wants it done right and great communication to go to this shop.

What a nightmare. I had a set of motorcycle wheels powder coated. I asked them not to sand blast the threads of the brakes or the bearing surfaces. Guess what? Both were hard sandblasted. I also asked them to sandblast the rear wheel then fill in some voids with bondo to smooth out a area on the wheel. Nope! Didnt do that either. Any paint or powder coating shop has cone rubber plugs that protect the threads and bearing areas. I will never have them do any work again! Ill tell my friends to stay away if they dont want their parts ruined.

I called before I went and asked if they bead blasted. They initially said no, but then the guy asked someone and said yes we can. (as opposed to sandblasting which leaves a coarser finish).took the parts in and again made big deal that they be bead blasted.2 weeks later after they never called to say they were done, go in and they are sandblasted. He did give be $30 off for my complaint.

I am very unhappy with them all around. I had taken my Subaru in for a few fixes and then months later from my car not running right found out that they were from this place not fixing anything completely. Found out that they didnt bleed my clutch totally out when I got it fixed. And I have taken my car in multiple times because they couldnt seem to fix my window motor right. On top of that they scratched my tint on 2 different occasions and I was playing hell to get Randy to fix it and he always blamed me for it not getting fixed because I didnt tell him the right dates. This man PMSs more than me and my little sister do and he does it more than just once a month. He is a very crude man and I will never go back and suggest that nobody should go here! It was a horrific experience!

Best small shop in Ft. Collins. They will let you know what else needs to be fixed and leave it up to you to as to if you want it fixed as long as it is not a safety issue.

DO NOT under any circumstances let Randy or his crew TOUCH your car! If you do and youre lucky, they will only do a crappy job and not screw something else up in the process. When I took my vehicle in to Goodding, they were supposed to pull the engine and send it to another shop for rebuild, detail the engine compartment and clean all of the accessories, then reinstall the newly rebuilt high performance motor when they got it back and and tune it. First off, it took 2 full weeks for them to pull the motor and get it to the other shop. Once they got the rebuilt motor back, it took another 3 weeks to get the motor back in, though the tuning wasnt done yet when they told me I could take it, and they said it was ok to drive. Immediately I noticed that the intake manifold along with all of the accessories and the engine compartment had not been detailed or cleaned at all, and the fuel level gauge no longer worked. Randy of course said that they did nothing to cause the gauge not to work, did nothing to try to fix it, and just made excuses for why the engine compartment was not done. I only got a few miles before a fuel supply line that they failed to clamp properly popped off while driving. A few days later the same thing happened with an oil cooler line that had not had a clamp replaced on it and it sprayed oil everywhere when it popped off, again while driving. More excuses from Randy. Trying to get the computer tuned right was also a complete waste of time, because their tuning guy had no idea what he was doing. He apparently didnt know the difference between open and closed loop tuning, and kept trying to blame the problems he was having on the mass airflow sensor or the ECM. I finally got tired of all the BS and chose another place to take it to, where I received good advice on what was needed and proper vehicle tuning. They also informed me of everything else they found wrong that Randy and his crew did a crappy job on. There were numerous missing or loose bolts on accessories in the engine compartment, including a spark plug not being tightened enough. They put the OLD, dirty, oil contaminated coolant back in with the new engine, requiring the coolant system to be flushed several times. They bent the AC hose where it attached to the condenser, so the hose had to be replaced and the AC system recharged. Im sure they hoped I wouldnt notice right away that the AC didnt work. To prove they didnt care at all about my business, I never once heard back from them about finishing the job.
