They take the time to explain the diagnosis and the proposed fixes. They communicate upfront and regularly. They fixed a notorious 2011 International 4300, knock on wood. Those models are known for being extra difficult!

These guys don’t even deserve one star because they’re failure to communicate with the customer led to the customer being threatened physically and had to bring the sheriffs to pick up his vehicle when it had no repairs done to it The destroyed the cv axles because the tire rods were broke completely sabotaging the vehicle and then wouldn’t let the Owner have a vehicle until He signed a piece paper saying they wasn’t liable for nothing a 14-year-old boy was threatened by a tow truck driver. If that aint Bad enough the owners son called repeatedly all night threatening the customer With violence. Listen to the first person to happen to I would highly suggest an recommend Taking it somewhere else anywhere else !!

I have been going to them for years. Solid experience with older and newer cars. Very experienced with troubleshooting cars with electronic issues that many mechanics will not touch because its all controlled by a computer. No nonsense, friendly and a great place for you and your car.

I was receiving red warning signals from my recently installed Sniper EFI. The mechanic that installed it couldn’t figxure it out and acttually retturned my vehicle to me with 2 of the warning lights continuously on.By the next day a 3rd light had appeared. I decided to try a different mechanic, so to the web I went.Search was on the Holley site for a local mechanic with Sniper EFI knowledge. Lundstedt Automotive popped up located in Ft. Collins. I decided to make the drive. Upon my arrival the place looked clean and organized. I entered the building and was greeted by one of the front counter employees. I asked him if I could get some idea of the cost to have someone take a look at my truck and program the computer to fixthe warning signals I was receiving. He said to hold on for a minute so he could talk to another person whowas on a phone call at the time. A short time later that person joined me and asked me what was going on.After explaining the.warnings that I was receiving he said let’s go take a look.I fired it up, he saw the warnings, took the monitor and started making some changes. Within 10 minutes my problems were solved. I was impressed with his knowledge and familiarity of the system. I was also impressed by his willingness to help me with my problem on the spot. It is this kind of customer service that is missing in many businesses today, but after this visit to Lundstedt‘s and the service they provided they have certainly gained a customer.

Ive been coming here for diesel emissions for 7 years and all I have to do is call for an appointment and come in and drop off the truck or wait. The crew is very attentive to the customer.

Brought my diesel here for an emissions test after another shop failed it, in my opinion, on purpose because it had some repairs they they confused as illegal. I explained this to Lundstedt, they checked it out, ran the tests and it passed just fine like it should have the first time. Thank you guys for taking the time to listen and run the test honestly!!!

Have an older 3500 deisel. Had some problems with transmission and transfer case. dodge dealer said I needed a new trans mission and more. $5k to $6k a weeks time to get it done. Brian and Erin didnt think it sounded right. They replaced a couple U joints and changed fluids and filters ran diagnostic. Runs great. Had it done in a day at fraction of the price. No nonsense and straight forward. No up selling. My new garage of choice.

Incredible service!!! Took my truck in for service and pleaded my sob story about having to be on the road out of state ASAP to Erin. They got me in and, when a problem popped up, they stayed 2-hours after closing to get the repairs complete for me. Who does that? Im not taking my truck anywhere else ever again. Thanks guys.

Honest and committed to quality service. I called about three weeks ahead of my arrival. Explained my situation and Brian Lundstedt was very helpful with upgrades and mods to my Diesel One ton truck. When the initial upgrade was performed we discovered a failing fuel pump and replaced it before any damage was done to the secondary Hi Pressure pump occurred.Everything we had discussed was addressed and My truck is like a whole new truck.I highly recommend this shop.

I spoke with the owner of the shop regarding the install of a turbo on a vehicle of mine and he was extremely rude! I let him know i wanted them to perform all of the work except for the tune. The only reason for my request is because the shop who i take my vehicles for my tunes is the only shop that has gained my trust over the years when it comes to tuning. I let him know he was easily loosing out on 4-6k easily on a 2 week project max. The owner said he didnt care about my project to much because he is currently working a project that is worth a quarter million. Good luck with this shop everyone. Your only important if your paying a quarter million.

I got swindled! Went to get my emissions test done, all was fine except that my engine light was on (continuously). I didnt pass and technicians went ahead with the test knowing I wouldnt. And when I asked why they went ahead with the test I didnt get a straight answer.

Honest and great work....They had an opportunity to take advantage of me because I thought and told them I may need to replace my front end but they did what was right and got her done with just a proper alignment....And there bout the only ones that could service my big truck cause they have the right equipment....Good job....no...Epic job...very happy....

So these guys have done work on my Diesel pickup. They are very friendly, and will work with you to get the job done. I gave them four stars only because every time I get my pickup back the problem I took it in for seems to get worse. Now it could be due to old engine, just an odd coincidence. Took my 2006 Duramax to this shop oct 2017. Here I am months later and still have a coolant leak. So patiently I took it back to them again.As scheduled I left truck, put the key in the key box and got a ride back to Cheyenne. Though scheduled I didnt get a phone call Tuesday. I didnt think much about it. I know how shops get busy. Which really was my attitude about the whole situation. Things happens and a little grace can go a long way despite being the third time Id returned the truck for coolant issues. But then Wednesday morning happened which changed my tune. Brian called rudely asking about my conversation at MIDAS. Asking me questions like well how did that conversation go?in what order did the Midas guy and I phrase things about pressure on the cap?I humored Brian as he talked to me like I was two years old. Going over the convo at Midas as well as the timeline of the repairs Lundstedt did! As his attitude continued I realized... wait. Why am I explaining this over the phone when my truck is in your driveway and was scheduled yesterday? And other than a half a gallon of coolant Midas added; Lundstedt has done all the work thus far Brian! Literally the truck is parked right in front of your shop. Its your job to diagnose- then call with answers or line of attack. Really Brian? You have records of work done! New water pump (not caught the first time) and yet they didnt replace the thermostats! Apparently general practice at every other shop Ive contacted. Perhaps I should have a semantical conversation with Brian about replacing the very cheap parts on the way out of expensive repairs that takes you deeper into a motor to save your customers money. Lundstedts not interested in that. Instead All I get is cap semantics, attitude. then he scolded me that I didnt put the keys in an envelope!Really? Are there envelopes available? Is there a sign that says -please leave your key in the envelope? So what are you upset about? The key or that you suck at your job and 3 tries later are stumped. So you call lashing out at me the customer because a key fell between the plastic bin and you couldnt find it. Which is interesting because theres a scheduled 7000 pound vehicle with Wyoming plates- that youve worked on before right in front of Your front door! Youd think thatd prompt you to look for a key. Hey Brian gravity called and you are dumb! Instead you decide to act like a tool bag calling customer with trivial details that dont matter. It seems that your reviews have a consistency in this regard. Customers complain and you respond with blame and passing the buck in a rude way. Answering the poor reviews with long winded excuses.That is sadly pretty typical now days. I thought I could trust you. I thought you were original and had a superior game to the other hacks out there. So it looks like Im just out my time/$I looked for other places nearby for my truck. Called your diesel repair Nieghbor and what do ya know about five minutes later I got a phone call back from Brian saying he talked with his tech an Dad...saying we will still work on your truck.He didnt even apologize- quite the opposite actually. After insulting me he acted like he fired me!Oh really Brian youll still work on my truck as if you fired me? I fired you and thought that your professionalism and you telling me not to break your balls was rude. It was at this point in the conversation that I got frustrated. I cant believe you would talk to a customer like that! I paid good money at this shop, my patience, my time, and my effort to bring the truck 60 miles away only to find out that you suck. What I suspect is Brian acted like a jerk because he knows they messed up and somethings really wrong with the truck. Im sure Ill find out that there is something catastrophically wrong with the truck because of his shoddy work. So he made it about keys and semantics so he could build in the excuse hed need later to side step accountability.
