I went here for the first time last night specifically for the stand up comedy show. It was nothing too formal or anything, relaxed vibe. The comedians were solid and gave a good laugh. Our food was good and drinks as well!However, there was a group of women sitting outside on the patio (where the show was happening) who were being extremely rude and talking over the comedians with each other. Several people asked them to move inside as they were being rude. They caused a scene and went inside. I over heard the manager Karen say dont they know you are regulars? Karen then threatened the patron who asked them to go inside. She was extremely rude to the comedians as well who had done nothing.Overall, okay food but wont be giving my business to a place that treats other customers poorly because their regulars want to be extremely rude. Cant say Ill be going back.

Man, based on other reviews the comments on wait time and staff still stand true. We spent our anniversary dinner here last night, mostly waiting. I am so sorry, the restaurant gets 2 stars because the cook/who I think may be the owner was friendly and working super hard to get orders out and he actually checked on us more than the bartender did, which was almost 0 times after we said we had an online order. So thank you to him, he was 5 stars.Anyway, the bartender. She told us the other waitress would check it when we first walked up, and then she never told her about it as far as I could tell. The other waitress had a lot of other people to get to, and the bartender was mostly just serving drinks. All in all, it took over an hour and a half for anyone to check on two sandwiches and a pretzel we had ordered. Someone brought the bag out to the counter and the bartender never checked it to see whos it was, so we watched it sit there for 30 minutes wondering if it was ours. Oh but she did glance at us and say, theyre boxing it up right now, without really knowing they were doing that because if she had known then she wouldve known it had already come out. Finally I decided at around 7 I was either going to say something or cancel the order. It rolled around and I went back to the bartender to ask her if she could check on it after I overheard her taking another persons order, she finally saw and checked the bag on the counter and said oh Im sorry (as if it was the back end that had forgotten about it) and I said, oh its been sitting this whole time...um its cold now. And she kind of shrugged and said, its still pretty warm and touched the pretzel box and opened up the pulled pork sandwich box and kind of hovered her hand over it. Unfortunately for her I didnt really want cold food and I think I wore the disappointment on my face because she said shed take it to the back and theyd check it (theyd check the temp of the food?? why). She brought it back like another 10 minutes later and said they remade some things. Again, unfortunately for her, the state of my tots/fries and same temp as before sandwich said otherwise. I think the only thing they remade was the pub cheese for the pretzel, because bless its heart it was cold too. All in all, longest wait time weve ever had here since visiting during the closures, and worst food weve had due to the wait. The wait wouldve been fine if we hadnt ordered 20 minutes before we even got there, and also if the waitress had time to see us (she had large families to serve so thats understandable) or the bartender had not tried to put us off on her while she was clearly busy. Waitress did finally ask us if anyone had taken our order as we were standing up to go ask the bartender about it, it was the first time she was able to acknowledge us. I feel bad for the Door Dash drivers that also had to wait for the bartender to notice them.

I ordered an avacado bacon cheeseburger and garlic parmesan fries to go. The total was $20.50.At this price I had pretty high expectations, but I finished my meal with some complaints.First of all, they used a thick slice of onion, the whole slice, not just a few rings. It was like an onion steak, so I picked it off and continued my meal with no onions. About halfway through, my burger buns became extremely soggy. Its one of those burgers you have to eat as fast as possible before it falls completely apart. By the end of the burger I was left with a soaked pancake for a bun. Disappointing. That being said the ingredients seemed good and cooked properly. It was a good burger, just didnt live up to the price.The fries left me wanting more garlic and parmesan, didnt feel like they used much, could barely taste those flavors if at all, but the potatoes were good and crispy.Overall I think it just didnt live up to the price. If it was a bit cheaper I probably wouldnt have had this expectation, and probably would have been more satisfied overall.It was good but I probably wouldnt go back because of the high prices.
Eh. Never had a restaurant serve food without utensils before, so that was interesting. Maybe they just have a different style or something. The place wasnt that busy either. Food was ok. Beer was good. They have a good selection.
In short, unless you want to be served old food in a dirty place, keep driving. Would give it zero stars if I could.
Owner was very nice as well as the staff. Food was great and a solid beer list. Hard to find both as a combo. Also have Gunthers ice cream! Lots of tvs to watch the games. Love the local feel.

Beer selection is great and good ambiance. Food is sub par. Had to send salad back twice and then get it refunded and service although extremely nice was very slow. Took an hour to get my food. Bottom line, great place for a beer.

The food is AMAZING! Geesh, the appetizer chicken wings are bigger than most chicken legs π! So good and crispy! The Mac n cheese is to die for π. We also got the sliders trio...chicken Tabasco honey, po boy and the fish...all so good!!! And youre not living if ya dont get the tator tots and onion rings. I wish I took pics to share. We ate it all so fast π€·ββοΈ.

This company utilized an advertisement service to increase traffic through the business, and did not pay their vendor for the advertisement. All attempts to recover the funds have gone unanswered. I would be wary when doing any business with this company. They refuse to even address the matter. Youve been warned.Edit 11/20/2020:This company continues to deny doing any business with my client. They refuse to answer phone calls, or return voicemails. The past due is still outstanding, and not a penny has been paid.
Okay selection of bar food but service was not great.

Love The Canyon Grill & Alehouse!! The new owners are so great to work with and the food is amazing! I just recently hosted a group of friends (30!) for a Brunch, and the owners and staff were very accommodating, attentive and so friendly! It the perfect neighborhood Go-To place, lots of tvβs for watching sports, and my new favorite place!! If you havenβt been, you MUST go... you wonβt be disappointed!
The current ownership has done an excellent job of upgrading the food quality and selection. Service is generally fast and friendly. Great selection of craft beers. Live music on many occasions.

Ive been coming here for a couple years. Amazing food but takes considerable long to get. I guess good, fast cooks are hard to find. Nonetheless its a great bar with even better food. Will keep coming even though owners have changed 3 times.
This is a really great Pub with delicious Dinner options. I was there for Dinner with my family and enjoyed it. I also return for Trivia Night and Paint Night. I love the Tacos on Tuesday!
I had dinner there last night. The hamburger was delicious! The nachos were amazing! The selection of drinks was plentiful! The service was fun and friendly! Our waitress Sassy was absolutely a pleasure! We had creme brule for dessert, which was to die for! I highly recommend checking this place out!
My food order never came out after 90 minutes. I closed my tab to leave and the bar tender threw my card and the pen at me. Why was he mad? I was the one that didnt get my food.
First time there, was clean and fun. How come I never heard of this place before? Lots of good drafts, large menu, friendly staff, and good bartenders. Outdoor patio was nice.

Great place, the new owners have done a fantastic job. The bands they have karaoke night, trivia night, etc are all fun events. The new(ish) bartender Chantal is phenomenal! Always makes you feel like her best friend. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Good beer selection. Beers are priced around $7 - which isnt easy to find in Folsom. Service can be a bit slow when they are busy. They are in the American canyon part of Folsom. So they are out of the way. The rock/country band that was playing on the Friday we went was pretty good. And they were taking requests. The only teeny complaint I have is that this place is low on veggie appetizers.
Nice big space that has house numerous restaurants over the years. Hoping the Canyon Alehouse makes it here.It was almost full when I went, friendly staff, nice pour on the glass of wine.They will be hosting music and comedy events and a weekly wine tasting.I will be back.
Had a good experience in here with my wife. The food was served fast and the service is just excellent. Prices are reasonable.

This is a decent place as far as clean goes. Bathrooms and main area were clean! Seems to be family friendly which is cool but also not appealing for typical bar crowd. Decent beer list and variety. The food Id give 3/5 based on the 3 dishes we ordered. Standard deep fried bar snacks really nothing exciting. Most disappointing part was a 1/3 of the TVs were on the Sunday Ticket logo considering only 3 games were on. If youre going to promote Sunday Football least set 5mins aside to change channels when games switch. Some of the bar staff was more into talking to the regulars than they were on table touching. Had to get up and order my drinks and food in a line like McDonalds and you get a number, Not a good idea..... If I leave my house to get away and watch the game I expect to have a waitress or at the very least rotating attentive staff, not get up myself for everything especially when its pretty slow.One pool table which was covered so it was useless didnt even bother to ask. They have a decent outdoor area with no smoking signs which is awkward as I been here before under different owners and it was smoker friendly. Also no TVs outside so that area was useless for us even though the weather was nice. So if you smoke, plan on going to the parking lot this is not for you. There were no menus offered or on the tables, you have to grab one when you walk in. Although the menu was on the TVs behind the bar they were almost near impossible to read unless your standing at the bar and I have 20/20 vision.I will probably give it another shot as I guess its under new ownership again I just hope the new owners pay attention to the customer experience aspect and not the current concept cause its dry and disappointing.

They have special veggie appetizers spicy cauliflower, fried green beans, pickle chips and pretzels - when they arent out :(Outdoor seating, the inside is open lots of TVS and events nearly ever night. I wanted to order a drink and 1/2 hour later the waitress came. I ordered the drink and another 1/2 later they brought me a drink, but it wasnt what I ordered. I waited 15 minutes longer and finally I went up to the bar. They had the same drink they tried to pass off 1/2 hour earlier and wanted me to take it. So basically she wanted me to take the drink I didnt order and pay for it, before she would make me another. I told the bartender Ive been waiting for 1 hour for a drink and she said I was yelling and threatened me that she wasnt going to make a drink. I was complaining not yelling and she didnt like the complaint. I told her then dont make the drink. She was rude and doesnt know how to make drinks.The menu is not the same menu they advertise online and the service is the worst Ive ever encountered. The food is microwaved and frozen.So if you are hungry and want a drink dont go to this place! I give it a -10
I dont think Ive ever given a one star review before, but Canyon grill earned it tonight.We arrived about 6 PM and joined a ground of friends already there. At about 6:10 the waitress (Kim) came by, and we managed to put in an order for a beer for me and wine for my wife. At 6:25 I flagged Kim down to ask if she could check on the beer and wine that had not arrived yet, and she responded with a very snotty, well, thats how its going to be tonight, were really busy, and she walked away. Note that tables around us had gotten seated and received drinks and food while we sat there. At 6:30 she came back and asked what beer I had ordered, to see if it been entered. She walked away before I could inquire about my wifes wine.At 6:40, having still not seen the beer, wine, or waitress, and not had an opportunity to order anything to eat, we decided to reduce Kims workload a little and got up and left.Wont be back, and certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

Keith, our server who explained early on he was new, and he is the reason they earned one of those stars and my salad was decent so you get the other. I ordered a beer and it was way off (a beer Iβve had before), it tasted way oxidized (dirty wet cardboard) and I politely let my server know and ordered another beer which was fine. I had my other friend whoβs also a beer geek try it and he said it was way off, our server came back and said he tried it and said it was off but his manager said because it was a newer keg I still had to pay for it. For how busy it was when we placed our simple orders (Cobb salad, French dip, mac and cheese) it took a long time to get our food but at least Keith checked in. My salad was kind of small and missing the bacon which I requested and did not receive until my salad was gone (I was talking a lot and eating slow on purpose). They said their food was ok. I could tell Keith was trying but the attitude of who I am presuming was the manager (could totally be wrong) was kind of like a βwho cares about our customersβ... he was obviously super busy and she sat by the bar kind of acting like she was working. This is walking distance from where Iβm staying and where my two friends live and Iβm pretty sure none of us will be back.

From the moment i walked in the service was awful. Waitress was unpleasantent and blunt but i was atleast hopeful the food would be good. NOPE! Me and my boss ordered the french dip sandwiches, took over a half an hour to get the food in the first place and when it finally came the prime rib had no flavor, the au jus tasted like water, and honestly the only thing that was good was the fried. Will not be coming back!!
