Huge fan of Kurt, Shane and everyone at Spa World. They are a trusty lot and they run a solid business.
This company is a sham. Do NOT under any circumstances relay on the co-owner Shane to be off his phone long enough to make eye contact or reliably give you his real last name. He has fake business cards, texts and plans hotel bookings while driving, is nothing of a supervisor and will spend less then 5 minutes cleaning your hot tub with NO regard to the amount your spending for the service. This is the individual the Owner Kurt has decided to share his business with. Absolute shame. Oh and they pay their employees with post dated checks, more then 5 days after the supposed pay date... What a joke of a company! Its illegal and will be reported to the appropriate authorities!
Kurt is fantastic. We searched for weeks to find a new circuit board for our hot tub and Kurt had one- he even needed it for himself but instead gave it to us, knowing our hot tub pumps would eventually fail if we didn’t get a board in time. We drove up to Fort Collins and he was there to help; he explained everything to my husband and even called him back a few days later to help walk us through a configuration question. Hands down best customer service we’ve received and FAR better pricing than the chain spa locations we used to frequent. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for all the help!
I had a custom spa project which required insight in parts. Kurt was incredibly helpful in having the right parts and equipment needed. Additionally, he called back with ideas on how to wire and set the system up properly. Thank you so much and will keep in folks in mind for future projects!
This is the first review Ive ever written and Im writing this because hot tub stores usually are hard to get an authentic/ honest experience EXCEPTfor Spa World--- Kurt is honest, helpful and a businessman who truly puts customers first! Plus, the two tubs Ive purchased from him have Never given me a problem. Spa World gets my highest recommendation because of the workers/products-- the best hot tub business in Colo is Spa World!
Kurt was so nice and helpful over the phone and in person,even for what ended up not being a huge purchase from our end. It still made a big difference for us in setting up our vinyl pool for our sons birthday. 5 stars for sure. Thank you!

Wow! Kurt at Spa World did a great job helping us select and install a spa for our backyard. He went above and beyond to give the destination a first-hand look, set up a stellar electrician and make sure every stage of the installation was as planned and on time. Simply stated: These guys are the best. They are all helpful, knowledgeable and honestly try to save you a buck if they can. Im not buying any supplies from the internet and prefer to keep them in business for the next time my hot tub heater decides to go out in sub-zero weather.... :) Thank you Shane and Kurt!!!
My wife and I went to every spa store in town for weeks looking for our first spa. Spa World was by far the most friendly and least pushy sales wise. They were just interested in educating us and helping us find the best tub for us even if it wasnt one of their products. Every time i went back with more questions both owners were very patient and helpful. This incredible customer service still continues months after our spa purchase.

I have purchased 2 hot tubs from Spa World over last 3 years and would highly recommend them! The owner, Kurt and staff are very knowledgeable, honest, and fair. The last used tub I recently purchased, encountered a small problem and their repair service was at my front door and fixed it within 3 hours of calling them. All positive experiences and above 5 star! Wish more businesses operated like this...

Having been a patron of another spa store for years and being very VERY unimpressed with their customer service, Spa World has been more than a breath of fresh air. These folks remember what customer service is! Weve worked with Shane, Kurt and Keith and each of them have been truly great folks to work with. We own a very old swim spa and were in need of a new cover due to a bad storm - not only did they not balk at having to come out to measure it - they suggested it so we would get a real custom fit cover. It fits perfectly and they were very creative in how to anchor it because of the unique decking around the pool. Additionally, they hauled away our old covers for free and they were BIG!! No additional charge at all. When they were here installing the cover, they saw that we had a pretty major foaming problem and Shane told us about a newer technology that uses silver (?). When I called to find out more about it, Kurt took an amazing amount of time with me to describe how it works and how to have the most success with it. And, finally, when they could have made a lot of money off of us for a repair, instead they told us that it wasnt a specialty of theirs (we have a very old gas heater) and referred us instead to someone who ultimately put us in touch with someone who could fix our outdated heater. Just cant say enough good things about these guys. If youre in the market for a new spa or just pool or spa products, give these guys a chance!!
I came in to ask about water filtration systems when there was nobody in the store. The owner said he didnt want to get into a discussion about that and was rude. I wont be choosing spa world for any of my chemical needs nor will I be choosing them for my next Hot Tub upgrade which will be coming soon. After chats with people at other stores around town about how the owner of Spa World acted, I heard from several people that it is a common occurrence and they hear people say this all the time about the owner of Spa World. Friendly and helpful service is the number one thing I consider when choosing who to give my business to and Spa World gets a 0 out of 10.
Amazing customer service! This was my first call to them, they dont know me or have any history with us. We just purchased a new home and a hot tub came with it. We know NOTHING about hot tubs. I do know it was not winterized and we have not set it up yet. Hard freeze tonight! I called late and got an immediate response and they walked us through the process to save our hot tub! Thank you!
My wife and I just got a hot tub and the heater went out on us first thing. During a historical storm with heavy wet snow the owner Kurt and an associate came to my house. Extremely quickly and efficiently they changed out my heater with very good attitudes and took the time to explain to me what had happened, what they were doing and even made small talk, treating me like I was a life long customer even though it was the first time I had met him. Kurt and Spa world will be my hot tub tech and store of choice.
A crew came out to move our hot tub to our new home. They arrived early and worked so efficiently to get the hot tub out of our backyard to load it on their trailer. They drove to our new home and set everything up for us. Great company, highly recommend!
I purchased a hot tub from Spa World three months ago. I visited several hot tub stores and Dewey was best at asking questions and recommending specific tubs. Delivery, old tub removal, and installation was professional and timely. Kurt and his crew were polite and patient explaining operating procedures. Had one minor tub issue. Kurt responded immediately and solved problem. The entire experience was exactly what i was hoping for.
I called because of the Google reviews, and Im glad I did! We inherited a hot tub with our new house and it stopped working. Kurt was abou to give us some troubleshooting ideas over the phone, and our hot tub is working good as new! Thanks Spa World!
We bought our hot tub from Spa World about 7 years ago. About 5 years ago we moved to California and have since been renting our property. Kurt and his guys have ALWAYS been there for us every time we needed them to go out, check it, service it if needed, and just take care of it for us. They are such honest, good-hearted, trust-worthy people! I cant say enough good things about them. If anyone needs a hot tub in Fort Collins or surrounding areas, this is absolutely the place to go. Trust me, we did our homework and visited several places. No one gave us the information, service and/or attention, as Kurt and his staff. Just a real great experience!

This is a very solid business with a solid product and exceptional customer service. I purchased a spa a while back and anytime I need advice on caring for my spa, balancing the water ph or copper, programming etc, they always take the time to answer my questions and provide great advice. Many places will sell you a spa, Spa World will continue to back up that purchase with excellent support after your purchase. My spa is ten years old and they have helped me maintain the spa and handled any repairs cheerfully and efficiently.
We bought our Maax SPA from SPA World a little ove 2 years ago. They were knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions and help. The SPA seem to hold up very well and during these 2 years, we had hours of good times in it with family and friends. When something happen to the SPA from normal use, SPA World was there to answer questions, troubleshoot the problem and come to our house to fix it (when needed). They are open most days of the week, during convenient hours and was never out of stock, with anything I needed. Bottom line is, the SPA seem to be of a great quality, they always have what I need and customer service is excellent. What else can you ask for, when making such a big investment? I would definitely give them a try, if I was in the market for a SPA. I have recommended them to people numerous times and know at least of one family who bought the same SPA I have and report the same experience I had/have with them.
I purchased what appeared to be a nice hot tub off of craigslist. While I wont go into that aspect of this situation, Kurt was able to help me diagnose a problem over the phone, which was a bad secondary top panel that was interfering with the main top panel. Before speaking to him Id had a local hot tub tech come out and he said I needed a new main panel. After an unsuccessful search to find a new top panel and then speaking to Kurt over the phone, I simply unplugged the secondary one, which I really wouldnt use anyway, and now the main one works. I will call him again with any needs I have, and I can now give my wife a proper birthday present. Thank you!

We stopped into Spa World shopping for a swim spa. Kurt was excellent showing us how Maax swim spas were made, from the framing, insulation, controls and explaining the difference in the swim spa options. We wanted to test one but Spa World did not currently have the model on their showroom floor. Kurt arranged for us to meet at another Maax dealer in Denver on his day off to test the swim spa. Going out of his way to meet us was above our expectations and showed meaning of customer service even though we were still shopping/comparing brands/models. These guys are awesome! We are going to test a couple of more brands before we decide, but Spa World is currently our first choice.Update:Bought our MT swim spa over a year ago now and the continued service from Spa World has been top notch. We had two warranty items that Spa World was quick to take care of even though we are over an hour drive away from them. Kurt, Dewy, and their staff has been top notch. We will definitely be purchasing our next replacement hot tub from Spa World once our Master Spa dies. Not only do we like the MAXX design/build, we know that Spa World will be honest and helpful in our decision.
Ive owed these guys a review for almost 6 months. If you want the TL:DR version, here it is: These guys are fantastic! Dont even bother going to the places on South College / Hwy 287. Save time and frustration and just buy from Spa World.A family member did me a huge favor in 2016. He wouldnt let me compensate him in any other way, so I offered to buy his family a hot tub. I wanted one for my place, too, so I ended up buying 2 tubs from a different Spa dealer towards the south end of town. They were complete slime to deal with--gave me stories of how I was lucky that somebody had reneged on a tub and they could give me a great deal. Ended up negotiating almost a 2 for 1 deal. This just tells you how overinflated the original pricing was. Long story short, the tub they sold me for my house wouldnt fit where I needed it to fit--even after their lead installer came out to inspect my site personally. I ended up getting roughly half my money back.I was so disillusioned with the spa buying process that I pretty much decided I didnt need a hot tub at my place. Fast forward about 6 months and I ran into Craig and Kurt at the home and garden show at the Events Center not far from my house. They were low pressure and gave me a price on a tub that would fit at my house. I still wasnt convinced I wanted to mess with having a tub delivered again so I waited a few days to call them at the store.Amazingly (based on previous spa-buying experience) the price they quoted me didnt change. No up-selling. No extra charges for a complicated delivery. No extra charges for chemicals. No slime ball overpay for a tub and well give you a $150 credit towards our overpriced accessories and chemicals. Just a straight-forward price.The delivery folks were clean, professional and respectful. They really had their ducks in a row in terms of the care and feeding of my tub. I grew up with a hot tub as a kid, but Im 50 years old now, so a bunch has changed and theres no way I remembered how the chemical thing worked from 1987. These guys had a laminated 8-1/2 x 11 sheet that walks you through the whole process. My relative who took delivery from the South College dealer didnt get any of this.During the installation, I noticed that the LCD control panel was slightly (and I mean ever-so-slightly) askew. I decided not to say anything because Im REALLY OCD and I figured other people shouldnt be subjected to my oddities. The lead delivery guy saw me notice the tilted panel and called Kurt without my asking to order a new panel. Wow. I bet the panel wasnt off by an 1/8th of an inch.After about 3 months of owning the spa, I noticed a bit of wetness under the spa. I took a picture and emailed it to Kurt. They came out within a couple of days, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the necessary replacement part. 10 days later, they came out and installed the part without issue. They even brought along a fresh chemical stick so I wouldnt be out the $30 or whatever for a new stick because of the partial drain and refill for the repair.I normally dont gush about retailers and Im normally a really picky SOB, so this review is a bit out of character. I just believe that in this day and age of nobody doing their jobs right the first time and having to argue about every little thing, these guys deserve an attaboy for just doing things RIGHT!
Since waaay back in 2004 when we got our 1st Intex soft-side pool, & then finally graduating to our 18x54 10,000 gal AG hard-side pool, the guys at Spa World have been there for us. Consistently. I appreciate this Tremendously, especially because pool stuff is the least of their business (as they focus on & Excel in Spa care!) However, theyve treated us just as nicely & professionally as they do their target customer base. *Countless* times weve called, or popped in to get more chemicals, or to ask Yet ANOTHER pool chemistry question, & theyve taken the time to answer everything, including hopping on The Googlemeister ;) & showing us additional options for various things. Theres only been a *Very Few* things they didnt stock. While we Can get these other items elsewhere its just not been the same, as NO ONE has the Exceptional Customer Service that Spa World has. Every cent we spend @Spa World has been an investment... We learn something new Every visit, & are wiser & happier for it. We figure weve got @least 8 more good yrs w/current pool. We believe Spa World will continue to be there supporting us. ~ ~ The Otto Family

We just recieved our 4th spa in 16 years, fianally we found the dealer we have always wanted. If you are looking for a new spa then trust me, its not so much the brand of spa you buy but the dealer. I think most of the spas out there are equal or close to equal, but the dealerships are not. Trust me with this! We had Spa World come to our rescue after our selling dealer wouldnt or couldnt help us out with a broken spa. I knew right away this is were we would buy our next spa and finally we did. They came to deliver our new spa when they said they would and set the thing up. Spa World is honest, fair and reliable I highly reccommend Spa World for your next spa, they run their bussiness like a bussiness should be run. Thank you Spa World! We were ready to give up on owning a spa because of our bad expirience with another local spa dealer, but thanks to you guys we are happy owners.
