We looked at several different modular companies before find Country Land and Homes and was so disappointed in how they acted like we were just another number to them.Jimmy and Carol were the opposite and were so wonderful from the beginning. We told Jimmy what we were looking at and he picked out a floor plan that was exactly what we envisioned. The delivery crew and set up crew are so personable and very friendly. Our house is so beautiful and we get so many compliments on it.If you want a mom and pop shop that give you the best customer service, I recommend going through this company.

Professional, friendly and organized family run small business specializing in custom manufactured homes! The best choice to get exactly the home you want for the best price! They have their own delivery driver too, who ensures safe delivery of the homes to their sites. Much better all around than the giant corporations who make big expensive mistakes! Thank you again, will be telling everyone where to get their next homes!

We chose Country Land and Homes because Jimmy seemed knowledgeable and we had already met with many other companies, but found the home we wanted here. Unfortunately, the process was less than desirable. Buying a new home is supposed to be exciting. I get that it is a stressful process, but this was behind the realm of stressful. We were given different prices multiple times and unfortunately the paperwork/price given to the bank did not match a later price which caused issues with our loans. Between the dealer and manufacturing company pointing fingers at one another we had some issues that were never fixed. After an issue with our brand new central air (that was not our fault) Jimmy basically told us he was done dealing with us and never followed up or tried to make things right. The central air was fixed, but we had many other issues that were caused by the delivery and set of the home that Jimmy and his contractors refused to come back and take care of. Very disappointing.

Absolutely love Carol and Jimmy. Great customer service, can’t complain about anything! Definitely check them out if you’re looking to buy a house or a shed. I’ve purchased both from them and I am in love!

I got more information from him and his general contractor in one meeting than I did with all of the other modular built in several meetings- he even broke down the general cost of everthing from basement pouring to driveway cost to permits etc...I am so glad I randomly drove by their establishment (on our way to another modular build) because everything was different from the get go! We are excited to get the process going!

We didnt get to choose County Land Homes. They were foisted upon us through an unexpected, unexplained subcontracting situation. What a nightmare. The delivery drivers wrecked our house in delivery. They drove a piece off the driveway into a rocky embankment, tore up our property getting it out (using equipment they borrowed without asking the contractor), and then they left the two pieces blocking our driveway for weeks until the crane came. Through all of that, Jimmy and his team never took care of the damage. On the exterior, this included broken siding, holes and large black marks along the side. Theres plenty of damage inside, including fans that dont work properly and two bathrooms with loose tubs and grout cracks nearly a half-inch wide. Despite being responsible for delivery, Jimmy acts like he has no responsibility. It takes weeks to get a response. We eventually hired our own crew to fix the holes in the siding, replace the siding and paint. Itll take a plumber to properly repair the bathroom and set the tub.Furthermore because our company subcontracted to Jimmy, we got stuck with a Family Built Home. Among other things, we got a water-heater flu without any insulated pipe or a thimble and it costs us several thousand dollars to repair and bring up to code. Thank goodness for our plumber or this well-hidden defect could have resulted in a fire or worse. Because when we took the pieces apart, we discovered that Family Built Homes jammed two incompatible pieces of pipe together, that there were folds, rips and holes, and that exhaust would have leaked right into the house.Another American Family Homes and Jimmy fun story; they delivered the house with finished siding, etc. Oh, but the front door wasnt the right size! American Family Homes finished-in a doorframe that was several feet too short and several inches too narrow for the door to be installed. And they left it for us to do! So we had to pay our own man to come in, cut a new frame, finish it and redo the siding. Jimmy eventually paid the tab, but if you want an idea of the mindfulness and quality you can expect, theres a good one.Did I mention that anything special we ordered did not actually come in the house, including the special light fixtures that make the home code-compliant? Were still waiting for the replacements from Jimmy and American Family Homes. So, from our experience, if you want to be treated poorly, get an inferior product, have Jimmy act like hes a ghost and has no responsibility for anything, if you want to do a lot of extra work yourself, if you want to call lawyers and prepare lawsuits, call Jimmy and Country Land and Homes, LLC.This isnt the last youll read about this story. Look for more in Colorado relator magazines under Should I buy a pre-manufactured home?

Jerry is friendly and helpful. Models are very neat to look at. Prices seem on lower end for IRC coded modulars.

If you are looking to buy a home from Country Land and Home or Skyline Homes please read the following. I am not one who usually writes reviews, but when your a consumer it is really the only thing that you can do. I will try to keep this short and to the point because they only allow so many characters. The customer service we received from Jimmy was great..until we put the money down to order our home. From that point on it was one disappointment after another. The home we ordered had to have an increased snow and wind load due to the elevation the home was to be installed at but I was told this was no big deal and they do this all the time. We did pick one of Skylines standard homes, we asked for a steeper pitch roof and we picked some of the standard options for the floor plan so there was nothing too far out of the ordinary for the home.We ordered our home on January 21st of 2017. When we ordered the home we were told that it would take 6-8 weeks to complete from the date of our order. We asked for a delivery date of March 30th and was told that would not be a problem and why would it, it gave them almost 10 weeks instead of the 8 weeks we were told they needed. I was told that we would have plans the following week so I could get my permit process started. They did not send us the plans till March 3rd.When March 30th came, the home was not done and I was told we were still waiting for the state to approve the plans and the new completion date was April 10 with delivery on April 13th. On April 10th I was told that they still did not have the state approved plans and the state was taking their sweet time getting it done. A quick call to the state revealed that Skyline and Country Land and Homes had been lying to me. The state had not received the plans until the 23rd of March and had sent them back to Skyline for corrections on April 6th.We finally received the state plans on April 18th and Jimmy with Country Land and Homes told me that I would be getting a call from Dominic at Skyline to tell me the completion date. On April 21st, I still had not received the call so I called and the receptionist told me the completion date was May 12th which was 17 weeks from the date we ordered the home.On May 9th I was told the first half would be done on 5/12 and the second half on 5/15 but they did not have all of the windows in yet so there may be a delay. The first half did come off on May 12th, and the second have was still on schedule but still no windows. The second half finished on May 16th, still no windows and Dominic was going to call me to let me know what was going on. He blamed his window supplier for the delay in the windows and joked that I must be cursed because there was so many problems with this home. I did not see the humor in that at this point. On May 19th the windows were finally in and they were going to work on it Saturday the 20th to get it finished. On May 22nd the home finally shipped and just a shade over 18 weeks from the date of order. The home was set on May 31st which was delayed from a snow storm that dumped 3 feet of snow on our property. We were told that it would be 7-10 day per section to finish after it was set by Jimmy and the guy setting the home said a week.We are at June 19th, the home is still not completely set up. We do still have to get plumbing and propane set up. Unfortunately, we ran into the busy time of year and our subcontractors had gotten busy which is causing more delays. There is still set up work to be done on the home and we are at 22 weeks now.Skyline did send me $1,000.00 to try and help recover some of the extra cost I had due to the delays which I did appreciate although the delays had probably cost me 4 times that. It was a nice gesture but i would rather be living in my house. My biggest frustration was that I was being left in the dark through the whole process with almost no communication coming from Jimmy or Skyline. Also, not one apology was told to me by Skyline or Jimmy, which leads me to believe this is what happens all the time.
