They did not give my husband his prescription. It also seems like they are avoiding at all costs to give him the prescription. Last I knew that was illegal. He was also prescribed contacts that were very very cheap. They didn’t have the contacts that he actually wanted. They would like you to get contacts at their office, not go somewhere else. Why would any office force you to do that? Especially when they don’t have a brand of contacts that actually work for you? Also my husband didn’t get a paper given to him that had his prescriptions on it. He has called to get them and was only given a glasses prescription not contacts. So needless to say this has been very frustrating for him, and Eye Mart will never be getting our business again.UPDATE: My husband just went to an eye doctors appointment in Ames. He has always had an astigmatism in his right eye. Ames told him he has a slight astigmatism in his left eye, but it’s not strong enough to have contacts with astigmatism. Eye Mart gave him contacts with the astigmatism in BOTH eyes. Which means, they scammed him for money last year on top of everything that happened. Be careful with this place, they just want your money.

Lori is awesome! She took the time to compare prices through the store discount or using my insurance. My sunglasses have a polarized brown lens which I have never had before and I love them! My glasses have the darkest transition lenses I could get and I love them too! Thank you!!

Even though Lori operates office by herself she deals with all the customer very efficiently. When I came back with a problem I was having with no glasses she was able to make a small adjustment with the glasses that took care of most of that issue. She does a wonderful job!

I love this place. The service here is awesome especially Lori, who has been so helpful. I discovered this shop last year and decided to give it a try. I ended up buying 3 pairs of glasses for less than I previously paid for one pair somewhere else (and that was with insurance at the other place)! I was so happy with Eyemart Optical that last week I brought my friend in to try it and she ended up getting two pairs of glasses. I am getting ready to purchase two more pair after having my yearly eye exam. I have told everyone I know about what a great deal this is. Thanks Lori for all your kind help!
