We reached out to The Catamaran Company to look into listing our boat for sale. During our initial meeting, Staley Weidman, praised our boat and we told him about the ~$150,000 in upgrades and small paint defects on the boat. Initially, he also told us that we wouldnt have to pay US duty and that we could simply note that the boat is not for sale to US residents in US waters. After we signed the listing agreement, Staley started to continuously push us to lower the listing price, before we even listed the boat. He also began to push us towards paying US tax to make it easier to sell the boat. We decided to not proceed with the listing and the sale of the boat, and instead, we decided to enjoy the boat for a couple more years. We sent Staley a letter terminating the listing agreement, but The Catamaran Company pushed out the listing anyway. Now the boat is listed on their website, Denisons Yachts, and also Edwards Yachts. Staley is taking no responsibility to have these postings removed. We have nothing positive to say about The Catamaran Company or Staley Weidman.

Loved the attention and knowledge level of the salesman. Was able to board a number of candidates and get in depth answers.

Coming from n GEORGIA to visit ft lauderdale I wanted to see some of the lagoon 450 and 440 that was on the market... I also found the catamaran company... the owner was doing some work on the house, I asked him if the house was the catamaran company ... he said yes thats here and thats me... I then asked him if I could talk to him for 5 minutes.. he turned around, looked at me and said no.... maybe its because I was driving a scooter ... I dont know... fantastic salesman...

Impressive !!I called and made an appointment with Caroline Laviolette to see 3 of their Gemini catamarans . She was on time and had the boats ready, so we were up to a good start. Her offices and the facilities in the Ft Lauderdale Marine are top notch, and so is Caroline.She learned to walk in a sailboat and has an impressive sailing resume. She has spent her life sailing all over the globe and has been with the Catamaran Co. since 2000. Extremely knowledgeable (and pretty, I may add) . She was straight forward, candid and quite helpful, so my visit was rewardingly worthwhile.Its so refreshing to deal with such honest, super qualifyed and helpful salesperson that Im really looking forward to doing business with her.
