I used this company on several occasions but on the most recent time the owner was the most unprofessional I have ever seen in the corporate world.He said they would be out in 3 weeks to work on my vessel and when I kept following up for a technician he said they were too busy....in fact dont call us anymore as we do not have time to work on your vessel.I wish I was told that 3 weeks ago so I could have taken my businesselsewhere instead of starting all over getting in line somewhere else.Rude and condescending with a horrible attitude.

Thomas was the technician who came out for our service. He was great...knew what he was talking about and was able to identify a few problems that needed to be addressed. Our cooling systems needed to be repaired and replaced on V10 Man diesels. We highly recommend their work.

Marine Diesel Specialists I have been working with them for over 20 years. Peter Angel the owner of the company and his son are good communicators.And its real five-star,, when their mechanics come out and work on the engines on Luxury Motor Yachts or generators,,, when they finish they don’t have to come back because they do a good job the first time. Highly recommended I’ve been a captain and chief engineer for over 30 years.

Called for a repair in transit. Thomas came quickly and found problem. Also found a leaking raw water pump and replaced. While on boat checked all lub levels and provided some self maintenance suggestions for me. Very please with their service and would call again if service needed in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Unable to contact or communicate with this company via email. No reply. Ive got no problem chatting via phone, but ability to communicate via email is important (incase we need help / info once we leave FL).

Owning 5 yachts in 12 years, and working heavy in the industry the past few years, I have tried all four of the big guys in South Florida and had dealings with some of the smaller ones. For me, this company is tied for the top spot !-- Fast response time-- Repairs done right the first time-- Fair middle of the market pricing(And I use M.D.S quite often with all of the yachts I manage)I threatened to write this honest online review and told them that if the truth continued to spread of what a jewel they are, they better keep the work I give them priority..hahahahaa.Buyers beware using the others!

Hired to do complete engine and generator inspection. Only a borescope was done on the engines since they failed secondary to corrosion. The final bill was for exactly the amount of the original estimate for the complete inspection including scope, oil samples, compression testing and inspection/operation. One is left to conclude that either the estimate was grossly incorrect, or the bill was incorrect. Would not under any circumstances recommend.

The owner Peter responded to a request for an estimate with racist remarks and totally unprovoked insults and derogatory comments. Initially we thought the account must have been hacked but no it truly was the owner seemingly having a breakdown. Overall terrible experience. Stay well clear and stick with professionals.

Excellent! Extremely knowledgeable technicians. Very professional. Competitive pricing on service and parts. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality services.

Quoted me $2,500....charged me $28,000 for an exhaust manifold. Tried to seize my $500,000 boat rather than answer the phone...dont deal with them.
