Dollar General has recently remodeled there store near where I live. They always have everything I need and now they did a great job with the new arrangements. It appears they added alot more items. The new layout is great. On the whole the employees are great, friendly and knowledgeable. So imust give them two thumbs up.

Employees harass me to leave my backpack with strangers behind their dirty register. No thanks. I am not a criminal. They dont make women leave their purses so I refuse to leave my backpack. I come on a bike so I have to bring it inside.

Nice substitute when you dont feel like going to a regular grocery store. Be prepared to meet thier miserable staff... they start to soften up if you kill them with kindness.

This brand has a lot of heavy jackets for a good price. $15 to $25. I need to buy many and they also have the buy $25 or more get $5 off coupons. Live those savings. Btw the cashier is very nice. Love the shopping experience here today.

I love this store as its super convenient for me however I need to use their digital coupons and for some unknown reason their register only allows for some and not others. They would not give me the $3 back for an item so i had to just get a full refund and went home without the item!! Poor business decision!

There was not anyone at the register so the person in front of me was saying Hello?, looking for an employee. The employee was stocking items and screamed I am coming!! You dont have to yell for me! I knew you were up there and i was coming in a minute!. Very unprofessional behavior. Regardless of what your job is, what you do or where you work, take pride in what you do. If you dont like it, find another job and do something else. She may need to find a job without human interaction.

I just went to Dollar General located at 4835 S state Road 7, Davie FL. As I looking for something that I could not locate it in the store. One black man with a piece of metal passing through his ear approached toward my way. I said excuse do you have pest control items in the store, he made a quick left in a isle and I went to that isle to ask him again, he ignore me. At that point I said Are you working here, because I saw he is warring the uniform. He came to my face and said what, he replied to me by saying who are you to ask me if I am working here? I said I am a customer he said, ho! Maybe I am busy yo here you. I replied I spoke to you three time and close enough to each other and you can here me.At that point he was screaming at me as he was moving, okay what do you need, what do you need. I repeated myself three time and he kept on ignored me.One customer that was passing by repeated to him what I was asking for. I said why you pretended can here even though this customer repeated to you two more times. He replied to me because you have an accent. I said every one of us has an accent we dont sound the same. Now he turned around to me and said do you want me loose my job for you. I said loosing your job is not helping me. He said, and dont come to the register because I will loose my job for you. I am just wondering why someone hired one that prefer to fight a customer inside the store instead of helping the customer. These types of employees are those that involve people come to your please to commit a crime because of how the approach customers. This guys with the piece of metal passing through his ear is not deserve to serve people because he does not act like a person. If you keep him in your store he could be very dangerous for your business. Check it out. If I did not leave the store without getting what I needed, I do know what could be happened to me.

It has products exactly like the name brand and is half the price. My only beef is the store is usually very warm inside.

Great manager - very helpful. Cashier friendly. You would have 5 stars if I could get around a little more. Girls working hard but you really need another person to put stuff on shelves when shioments come in.

Shopped for an hour had a hand cart full. Left with nothing. Lady couldn’t handle coupons. It wasn’t many maybe 10. She said she doesn’t do coupons.. i left after 20 mins of her complaining.

Horrible customer service! The store manager Veronica or Vanessa always has a bad attitude. The store is always a mess and the bathroom ceiling has a huge whole in it (a lawsuit waiting to happen). The clearance isle is a complete mess and nothing is ever tagged. Store just needs to get clothes down.

Horrible store dirty disorganized boxes and shopping carts with merchandise in the aisles so you couldnt get through went for some Christmas decorations but could not get to them because of all the clutter in front of the shelves had to leave and go to another Store really sad because there was nobody stacking shelves anyways the only positive thing the cashier was friendly as the only thing I purchased was a candy bar the easiest thing to get to
