The staff, amazing!! Very attentive, fast and were able to inform me on the parts I needed and had the pump I needed in stock. They went above and beyond to help me take some parts off the old pump with out hesitation!!!

!!!!!Urgent please avoid this business Rice Pump and Motor inc go somewhere else and spend your money. I walked in and 2 separate employees sitting down at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me, I stood there for a few moments and greeted them both by saying hello, neither one of them responded. I had to address them multiple times in order to be acknowledged. The guy sitting directly in front of me remained seated the whole time until the mail carrier came in, then he stood up to get the mail then sat right back down.They were very unprofessional, misleading, gave me a cheaper product than what I asked for but charged the same amount of money. When I inquired about the price difference one of the employees walked away briefly returned with the manager then stormed out of the business, but not without insulting my intelligence and being rude along with unhelpful first. When I asked if I could speak with them so they could hear my concerns one of the guys (very short white male) said “ no we don’t wanna hear what you have to say.”This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced. I will never be doing business with them again. For all the people who posted 5-stars for reviews about this business please be honest with yourself and others, you are encouraging people to do business with a horrible company.

Honest repair estimates and better prices and selection than retail stores for irrigation and pool motors and pumps.

These guys are great. Took one of my pool pumps in for repair. They found the problem and corrected immediately. Explained why no repair was needed and sent me away with charges. Few, if any, businesses exhibit this level of integrity. I am a dedicated customer for life and give them 10 stars.

Replacing pool motor so had to remove old brass Anthony pump. Rice had everything the pump required in stock for a rebuild! Very pleased with the service and knowledge. Ill be back down the road.

The guys that work at front counter suck . They are extremely rude and not helpful. Zero customer service from the front counter. Couldn’t be more disappointed with my experience with them. Very sad that they represent this company. Hopefully the owner reads this as I’m sure the owners would not want customers being treated so poorly.

I was extremely put off the minute I walked in watched 4 employees sitting down and nobody offered to help me .I had to actually yell for someone to come to the counter and this person appeared very annoyed that i was asking if he could test my capacitor on my pump . HE ASKED ME IF I WANTED HIM TO CHECK IT NOW OR COME BACK TOMORROW !!!I said .....if you could please check it now and he did right in front of me with a multimeter and said the capacitor is fine .He said i would have to leave it to do further testing on the motorThe next day he told me Your motor is fried it will be $250.00 for a new one .I said no thank you i would like my pump back please because it was still under 2 warranty .They gave it to me in a box after waiting ten more minutes for them to bring my pump to the front counter and i didnt check it until i got home .When i got home and opened the box The motor was completely pulled apart to point of all the wires pulled off, the impeller was removed and the bearings were removed...????They completely made sure this motor would never run again and now i cant obviously claim it under the warranty.I am a local business owner 1 mile from Rice.. i am disgusted and embarrassed fir them as a Broward county place business.I wouldnt take my bicycle pump there to be looked at .Go somewhere else for electrical motor repair, these people are not what you need

Helpful bunch of guys

Brought in a pump, told them what was wrong. They called me back and said they could not fix because parts are not available, went back to pick up and they could not find, called again and they could not find it. Went in again and waited for a hour until they final found. Gave it back to me all take apart, said they need to diagnosis ( I told them what need to be fixed), and wanted to $25 to re assemble. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

Had very good experience with them.well pump for my house stopped working because of the seals gone bad. since it is for the house, they expedited it and by evening I had the pump running.. and the price was very reasonable
