Opened in 1986, Jezebel has been a staple in the Gateway shopping center for the past 33 years. They started out as a vintage clothing store called Stock Exchange and through the years has transformed into a gift store called Jezebel. The entire back room used to be filled with vintage clothes. The clothes have been replaced with one of the largest and most diverse greeting card assortment I have ever seen. If you are looking for that special one of a kind greeting card, this is the place to find it.In addition to cards they carry items with a tropical and coastal theme, t-shirts, animal themed gifts, candles, accessories, ornaments, jewelry, and house wares. Some of the items are emblazoned with salty language and are quite humorous. You can find classy gifts here but also ones that are sure to bring a laugh to the recipient. My favorite was a small nylon bag that read I can only afford Ramen noodles and expensive makeup. That sums up my daughter perfectly. Quirky, eclectic, and funky are words that spring to mind as you browse the Jezebels inventory. The friendly staff is on hand to help you up your gift giving game this holiday season.

Super cute store that has gifts for all of your quirky friends. They have an amazing selection of cards, baby gifts, jewelry and knickknacks. You are sure to find something for everyone. Love coming here around the holidays because they have a really cool array of Christmas ornaments. You’re going to find everything here from Betty White pins to cookbooks.

Jezebel is a unique shopping experience. A wonderful mix of this and that, jewelry, books, accessories, stationary, and the best greeting cards found nowhere else. Many of the products are small and/or local businesses, so prices are on the higher end. A great place to find gifts for the person who has everything.

This little store is a true gem. I have shopped here since I came to Fort Lauderdale 11 years ago. My girlfriend introduced me to this shop and I visit every time I need to get some really cool gifts. the owner, Mary, is a splendid person and she is knowledgeable about everything that is in this place. And there are a LOT of beautiful and unique things here. Definitely worth a visit, wether you are visiting Fort Lauderdale or you live here.

I called ahead to confirm the closing time. I showed up with three kids to find the door locked and whoever was inside didnt let us in. I suspect an anti-family prejudice is in play.
