Angel at Power Center is the best. He went above and beyond to help me find the right zero turn for my home. Angel has a lot of knowledge about lawn mowers with many years in the industry. He also delivered my mower after he was at the shop all day, (that shows me great customer service). I purchase a toro 34 zero turn and Im very happy.

Lucky that Google doesnt allow a 0-star rating. Asked about an employee who seemed to be out and was then not allowed to purchase the equipment I was looking for and abruptly kicked from the location with threat of police being called. Customer service is NOT their fortay.
They are good at selling equipment and they know how to fix broken equipment, but their service is horrible. They never call to let you know the status of your repair, so unless you’re willing to constantly call regarding your equipment’s status, the equipment just sits there. They don’t care about the customer. I will never, ever go to them again.

This business is under new ownership and they successfully repaired the lawn mower. Were very happy customers with Power Center !!
If you are looking to support a local business please go to a DIFFERENT place. I was “lucky”enough to meet the owner who is the rudest person I have talked to. Let me fill you in. I dropped off my husband to pick up his truck(buildings attached) before I was about to pull out my son asked for his water and a snack so I reached back to hand him his things. The owner comes over to my vehicle and tells me I’m not allowed on property and I need to move. Mind you I’m in drive about to leave anyway, just getting ready for the drive home. He again says I can’t park and need to move and than tells me “I’m asking for trouble while pulling out his phone” Noticed he has not asked anyone else to move their vehicles my husband is black I am white. (Simple math problem) the owner - is the guy in orange polo in the pictures Incase anyone wants to knowThe funniest part about this situation is the product he sells goes hand-in-hand with my job so instead of me recommending him for us to buy our supplies from him I am now spreading the word throughout our community of workforce and letting everyone know that he is not a person we want to deal with or support his business.
Ive been using power center since the old owner sold it and I have been very pleased with their services they take care of My equipment regularly and for the safety of everybody they make people wear masks I am thankful for this during the covet 19 crisis
In this store they are scammers. I left a generator to repair and they had it for 20 days and in the end they did not repair it or even review it, they only kept the deposit, I would like others with the same problem to join to sue these bulgars.They never repair anything, they just pretend to give you a super high price so you can give up and keep your deposit..

Disappointed!! Very disappointing experience. The owner is a nice guy, the ladies who work there are nice, the mechanic does shoddy work. He didnt clean my chainsaw, ( wipe it down) he didnt tighten the bar on my chainsaw before it was returned, so I got a filthy chainsaw with a loose chain and bar. He doesnt care about his work or the customers. This used to be a great store when Pete and Elizabeth owned it.
One of the best stihl dealerships I’ve been to in the USA. Largest inventory I’ve seen. Plenty of accessories. Quick, reasonable repairs. Knowledgeable staff (males and females). Wish I would have come across this store sooner. YOU GUYS ROCK!
Took my generator in for repairs and I do believe every lawn care company in the county was there dropping off and picking up equipment. That put me at ease and I felt comfortable doing business with them. They called to let us know what was wrong and the cost of the repairs. We havent got it back yet but I have full confidence that the repairs and workmanship will be that of quality.
I was very pleased by the fast, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The location was easy to find. There is very easy parking. The shop was clean and orderly. I needed a chainsaw repaired and I chose them because they are a Stihl dealership and authorized repair center, and advised me they only use genuine Stihl parts. They completely explained the possible outcomes and costs. I was confident about leaving my machine with them and will report back on the repair.
Do not spend money here. These people do not want to help their customers nor do I think they even like having them in their store. RUDE is the only word to describe it. They just dont want to do anything that isnt selling overpriced new equipment. They go as far as quoting you one price in person than over a hundred more 45 minutes later over the phone. Even though they are dealers for a few brands like Honda they do not honor their service commitment to them. They pretty much do anything necessary including insulting their customers to get out of warranty work. Ive reported them to Honda they treated us so bad. Screw this company. Take you hard earned money and go to another local business that wants and appreciates your patronage.
BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! OWNER IS A SCAMMER! Dropped my generator off to get a starter recoil changed and left a $70 deposit. Upon speaking to the mechanic who worked on it. The engine seized while he was working on it. Owner try’s telling me that I brought the engine in locked totally false! After simply asking for my deposit back for damaging my machinery the owner tells me to get the hell of the property. One of the worse business establishments I’ve ever encountered. Do t bring your machinery here it’s a complete ripoff!!!
Dropped off generator Sept 1 and they never even looked at it! It sat 4 months wilt no proactive update call from the company. Just retrieved my generator (Nov 30) and received the worst customer service of my 50 year on this planet. Do not use this company, they are incompetent and worst of all rude. Fort Lauderdale residents deserve better than this, please spread the word about this company NOW.
The worst experience I’ve had with a service company in my life. I took my new chain saw in under warranty to have a broken $20 part replaced, which I could have done in 30 minutes myself, if I had the part. I called before going and was assured they were an authorized service center for the manufacturer and they told me to bring it in. Seven weeks later, after 5 visits to the shop, approximately 20 phone calls, multiple excuses, having my check thrown back at me, being insulted by the owner, and disgusted with their attitude, I finally have my chainsaw back, thanks to the manufacturer.

Terrible service, charging for things we never agreed on. They told me they messed up a part of my saw and that there would be no charge to fix it and when I went to pick it up they were charging me 120$ and wouldn’t give me my saw back without paying for it.Bring you’re business elsewhere, they are total creeps and have no clue how to run a business.
This place use to be great. Not anymore. Took my Stihl blower in for a tuneup. $35 later I get it back and they tell me the carburetor is failing but it works. Ok. 1 month later the unit fails completely. I bring it back and they tell me it is too costly to fix. I should buy a new one. I spent 10 minutes watching a video on youtube, purchase a $15 part and spend 15 minutes installing the new carburetor. I have no experience with motors. It runs like new and has been for a month now.

Beware of Power Center as it has recently come under new ownership. The new owner is not at all familiar with mechanical repair services and or the equipment they sell. I dropped several chainsaws off for repair and it took months to receive an evaluation of the repairs needed. I finally reached out about the equipment and their failure to respond was astonishing. In the end I am filing a credit card claim against them as the repairs were never completed. There are many other qualified mechanical repair businesses in Broward County, I suggest using them. I know I will in the future.
I brought my generator in for repairs in September 2017 right after Iram after one month the told me because my generator had a Chinese motor they could get the part but ask me to get them which I did. Mean time Anthony was working on my generator was no longer there a Dennis took it over we now in December and Dennis turn it over and in doing so the part I brought in no one could find them. So now to cover them self they tell me my motor need to be rebuild which was not true since when we brought it in it would start but would not stay running. These people will tell you they been in business over 60 years but they do not tell you they bought the business from a gentleman in a wheel chair who ran a a very honorable business. I give them 3 years to ruin a good business in the ground since they can not keep good employees and and giving customers lies with bad service.HORRIBLE PEOPLE. DO NOT TRUST THEM!
I was recommended by someone who had used the shop in the past and wasnt aware that the previous owners had sold the shop. Had I read the new reviews prior that told me the same about New Ownership I wouldnt have taken my Riding Lawn Mower there for repair. I too filed a claim with my credit card company and they gave me a Full Credit based on the fact that the repairs were not completed by the Power Center. when I called the shop and asked to speak to the person who worked on my lawn mower I got a emailed telling me that pesron would call me in the morning. I am Still waiting 2 weeks later for that phone call. I had the lawn mower repair some place else. Would STRONGLY SUGGEST ANYONE READING THIS STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

I would give them no stars if I could.I brought them my chain saw, on my neighbors advice, because the blade was not turning. Motor was fine. That was the 18th of Sept. Every week when I called about it, they told me the technician would look at it the next day and call me back. Today is Oct. 28th. No one ever called me back.When I went in today, they told me they had no idea when they could get to it, and mentioned 60 days. I was not happy, and told them they should have told me that when I dropped it off, or when I called, and that I do not appreciate being lied to. He further told me I was not allowed to complain in his shop, and proceeded to get angry with me. Then he told me I would have to wait, so he could take care of a new customer. Later while I was waiting to get my $25 dollar deposit back and my chainsaw, they couldnt find it because they were looking for a generator. So much for their record keeping. While waiting for them to locate it, I overheard the girl behind the counter telling the customer on the phone the same thing they told me every time I called. So it is a canned, meaningless reply.The guy behind the counter, who appears to be the owner, and the new customer started arguing in spanish. So he was not rude to just me.They were extremely rude to me as I calmly explained that all they had to do was be honest with me. To which he retorted that I was not understanding and I was not to say another thing about it.When I left, the other customer said he couldnt believe how rude they were and said the worker told him I was white trash. Really?Conclusion, unless you want to be lied to, treated poorly, and leave your euipment with them for months and months, dont go there.I will not be going there. There are much nicer businesses with whom I can do business.

In Nov of 2016 I brought a badly neglected genrator to them to have it overhauled....the person (Diego) ..who did the job was awesome...the thing ran like new he communicated well with me and i think was great...after the recent hurricane someone damaged the re-coil..I brought it in and was told ...very easy..I got a call yesterday from Anthony (I think is the name...he told me it would be approx $81 to fix the machine...I said fine....today the call and say it is $222.00...so I go to pick it up and the owner/manager whoever he is gets VERY nasty....I said well I was given a price...I understand with this kind of thing maybe a few dollars more...maybe extra this or that...but almost 3 times...the price...so he is acting hostile ..telling me well were human...we dont get these machines alot...this isnt my fault...I suggested meeting in the middle....and he wasnt having any of it...he finally said $200 thats it...I gave up and paid....I think a place should honor what customers are told..and I wasnt getting nasty..when I asked why he was getting an attitude....he told me I was .....it is too bad..because they seem to do good work....I wouldnt have minded if I was called and someone said...hey I was wrong....but god as my witness I was told $81.00 and $222.00 is not $81.00.............I will look for another place ...too bad it is so close.....decent work...bad with honoring price and the customer service is horrible..I wish I knew where Diego went....he was great.

Brought saw in back in November. Happened to stop by today 1/8/18 to see whats going on after having to have the pull start repaired directly after they repaired it...needless to say, same chinsy pull start put back on it again. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
This is actually one star too many. Dropped off a lawnmower that wouldnt turn over and was told it would be looked at in two weeks. No one ever called. I called them at three weeks. They told me it wasnt looked at yet, it would be done soon. I called them at four weeks. They told me it wasnt looked at yet, it would be done soon. I got tired of hearing it would be done soon, so I went to pick it up in order to go elsewhere and then they argued with me and refused to give back my deposit. I asked why they would keep the diagnostic deposit if it was never looked at? They went in the back and got the mechanic and then all of a sudden the owner tells me oh it was just looked at, you need a carburetor. They are incompetent. They are thieves. Run. Fast.
Siince the company exchange owners the service has went down . I went there for 3 different parts with the part numbers Briggs and Stratton provide me on the phone and said that they should have there .Once I reach the guy at the counter seam like he the only one that works at the counter now starts to talking to me like I dont have any sense and start telling me to have a nice day and walk off .
