Forward Van Lines exceeded my expectations! It was a small move from North Miami to Fort Lauderdale for my son. He was moving from a 1 to a 2 bedroom apartment so it wasn’t a huge move, but everything was first rate. Every promise was met and they even came in under their time estimate and refunded me around 10%!Bryan took my info and quickly and efficiently provided me an estimate that was very reasonable. He took my deposit and set the date and time immediately. The movers arrived on time and were fast, cautious, organized, and professional. Dareus, Demetrius, and Tony provided a quick overview and got to work! Guy said he was owner, quoted me 1400 on high side then I had most of stuff removed and he said he would deduct it. Then they picked up my stuff and refused to unload it unless I paid them 1700, I called the guy who came originally and turns out he was just a salesman. Was 800 to 1100$ max.. just very low people, they will be on American greed one day for sure, would recommend them to someone I really didn’t like

The team showed up on time, they were polite, professional and courteous. I couldnt believe how fast they were. I had a few items I wasnt able to pack or know how to pack and they were so kind to say Dont worry, we will take care of it. I asked if there was anything I needed to be doing to help and their answer Nothing you need to do. You can just relax. Wow! They made moving to my fourth floor walk up such a breeze. Forward Van Lines moved my daughter from a third floor apartment in West Palm to a second floor apartment in Pompano Beach. The guys were all courteous, polite, efficient and professional. I have dealt with many moving companies over the years and these guys were great. They worked non-stop in 95 degree weather while wearing masks due to Covid-19. I will definitely use them again!

These guys were wonderful! They helped us out in a pinch when another moving company backed out on us. They worked hard, fast, and took care of all of our furniture. We had to move some stuff to an apartment and the rest to a storage unit. They pulled it off without a hitch. I am definitely hiring them again when we move again.

They certainly have a great salesperson. When we received our estimate we were guaranteed exceptional, worry free service. Price was much higher than other company but we thought we were paying for what we were getting as we had a disappointing experience with another company a couple years before. All seemed to be getting packed well and movers were very pleasant. However upon dropping off they left quickly before I had a chance to look at everything as I had a toddler. Upon closer inspection the next day I had damage to nearly every piece of my bedroom set which was new from 2 years before and not moved prior to this. Put together incorrectly so my bed frame looks odd as pieces are on wrong side. Mirror frame cracked due to over tightening. All four posts are scratched / scraped as well as other scrapes and dings to dressers and nightstands. My bed skirt was lost somehow. And all I got when I contacted the company was a sorry for inconvenience and contact info for a moving claims company that makes it pretty complicated to put in a claim. Severely disappointed and feel badly misled to confide in Forward Van Lines. Only giving 2 stars bc communication was good and everything arrived on schedule.

If you’re looking for a good company I would recommend these guys. The crew worked very fast and handled all my items with care. Isela the girl who set up my move was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. She explained everything to me from the beginning which was great because I knew exactly what my move would take. The crew arrived a little earlier than the time they told me which was great and began working immediately. They were professional and they had a nice sense of humor. It might seem a little pricey but trust me when I say that the service is worth it! Giving them 5 stars!!

I hired Forward van lines purely because they were referred by so many people I talked to. They sent four movers who were all very competent. They came prepared with lots of packing materials and other things like trolleys, boxes, tapes, sacks etc. They packed all our stuffs with proper packing materials and then loaded them onto the van. It didn’t even take them much time to finish the packing-loading process. I was curious to see how they were going to travel to my new house. Surprisingly, all our furniture traveled well and nothing suffered any damage, not even a scratch. My wife and I are very grateful for how efficiently our move was handled.

They have moved several of my customers over the years and were very pleased with their services and how they paid attention to details. I supervised one my customers moves and they showed me there was one lamp left on the truck that broke during the drive. They advised they would fix it and drop off free of charge. They offered to pay to replace it when we thought it was misplaced in the warehouse. They did find it and returned. The level of professionalism and courtesy to customers is greatly appreciated! I never thought moving could be this easy. My previous experiences with moving companies have never been that good. But hiring Forward van lines saved me a lot of hassles. They were prompt in every sector. They called me back with a quote within 10 minutes of my first call. The movers were also very quick. They were done with the whole packing and loading process quickly but thoroughly. They made the delivery on time. I checked my inventory list and everything was there in great condition. I moved half way across USA without having to worry about a thing. I just can’t thank these guys enough.

Forward Van Lines was not equipped to do our cross-country/out of state move. Not only was it expensive, we felt terribly misled by their use of subcontractors (drivers and handlers). When we negotiated, they stated use of in-house staff. General communication was abhorrent and there were certain employees I finally refused to communicate with. The ONLY positive was our experience with the the loaders on the Miami side, who were professional, courteous, efficient and careful. The positive experience ended once the truck drove away. Forward Van Lines delivered much later than we anticipated (albeit the contract stipulated they had a window of time for delivery). They misplaced one full vault of major items for more than a week and took another 10 days to finally complete our delivery. Our paddleboards were left by a sub-contracted driver in Atlanta and damaged. Multiple pieces of furniture were scratched, broken or otherwise compromised and we are now 6 weeks into communication regarding reimbursement and repairs from the Insurance company used. When the driver finally arrived in Colorado he had the most unprofessional, unequipped crew that he scrapped together. One of the guys hired confided that he got the job from a Craigslist posting. My advice - whatever company you contract with, please inquire about subcontracting, delivery-time windows, insurance and if the company conducts a satisfaction survey after completion of the job. Forward Van Lines did not even come close to delivering on expectations.

Run from this place. We were relocated for work and my company paid for the moving expenses. They held my belongings hostage even though they had been paid in full prior to the move. There were multiple things damaged, broken furniture damaged floors in the house we moved from that had to be repaired before the closing and destroyed a rug in the home we moved to. They promised to make thing right and we got a settlement offer that was a joke. Very unprofessionalForward Van Lines response for all to see just made my point. Ill Itemize the highlights:1. My name is Don not Dan, It is right on top of the post2. The word Prior as used in the review means you were paid in full before you picked up my items. There was no reason to hold my items hostage for payment because you were paid!!!3. Your solution to the claim is to notify the group that was notified continually and took 8 months to respond is almost as big of a joke as the rest of your organization.There is only one reason for this, a lack of professionalism and organization. I am sure the guys delivering the items did not know you had been paid in full, but they should have known. Their actions however did constitute holding my items hostage because there was no reason to hold them at all.My advise, do not ever use this group for any relocation, corporate or personal move.

We used them this past May. We were charged fairly but it very expensive. We moved a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house about 5 miles away. In the move, a book case was damaged in the move (see photo). Chunks of the top were ripped off somehow. We filed a claim instead of giving a refund they offered to come pick up the bookcase, repair it and return it. The damage is on the top, so no matter what is done, it will still be noticeable. No monetary resolution was offered, even after a call back today to try and resolve the issue. Making matters worse, my wife called me to come home from work during the initial move because the foreman continuously hit on her. He mentioned her looks multiple times along with her body type, that made her fee uncomfortable enough to call me to come home so they could see she has a husband that is present. He continued to hit on her at the new house and asked for her number so he could get her a hook up at concerts. Very unprofessional all around and overpriced for the service provided.

Gone are the days when a typical moving company would be made of incapable, untrained and inexperienced touts. I recently hired Forward van lines to handle my relocation and I was absolutely surprised seeing how efficient and professional these guys are! From their uniform to their experience, everything was top notch. They were so quick to finish loading everything from my 3500 sqft house. More surprisingly, not even a glass was delivered broken! I don’t know if every other modern moving company performs the same way but I don’t care! I have found the perfect moving company.

Do yourself a favor break your own furniture. Throw away items you need. Same as the service you will get here. Avoid the packing service they just blanket wrap your furniture with everything in them making them heavier. they broke the ceiling moving me out. When my items arrived at my new home the bedroom furniture was so massively damaged . The delivery team wrote that on the Receipt massive damage. 3 months to get a settlement. The final offer from the insurance company was $63.00. So forget about getting $63 cents a pound. Run do no walk from them. Why is there not an option to give ZERO STARS.

This was my second time using forward van lines. I felt that the prices were fair and the services was great. My movers arrived on time and they made sure to be respectful and take care with my belongings. I will definitely use them again if I have moving needs in the future.

I had high hopes for these guys. They did a terrible job packing. They were late on day 2 unload and both days the move our and move in took a very, very long time. I think the company didnt staff or estimate this job well. The movers left 2 cupboards in the kitchen behind and some other misc things. They didnt use wardrobe boxes for any of our clothes- just took them and shoved them in boxes. They also took all my sons expensive, complicated lego sets that he had completed and didnt wrap any of them- they got tossed in boxes and when they showed up they were all shattered. My nine year old was devastated and cried. I also lost some things that were damaged in the move- they werent expensive, but highly sentimental. Would not recommend.

My number one priority was to have my things delivered on the date that i needed them in our new forever home. After all has been said and done, we are extremely pleased with the whole thing. They delivered our things on the agreed date, and gave plenty of advance notice. Everything is here and is now accounted for. Bravo!!

Complete disaster. These guys were impossible to get in touch with, never answered their phone, and repeatedly changed the prices on us- they actually charged us more money when we had less stuff than was originally quoted. Also, life lesson- READ THE CONTRACT. They will verbally tell you theyll deliver everything in 1-3 days of requested date- TOTAL BS. It took them 10. Fair enough, its in the contract, but its still sneaky, bad business IMO. Our stuff was beaten up, we spent 2 weeks living out of suitcases and their movers refused to come and deliver everything when they were in fact VERY close to us and could have done so. Worse, they upped the fee a third time without saying a word. They literally crossed out what was on our signed contract and replaced with a higher fee.They get two stars because the movers who came to our house in Florida were fine, got our stuff packed and out quickly and were careful. Bottom line: find someone better. It will be worth the extra money.

Nice people and defiantly family owned and operated like they said also be quoted me 1250 fro the move on the phone and the actual charge was 1185 first i ever moved and the actual price was less. At fist i was confused but Bernard the crew foreman simply shrugged it off. I absolutely recommend these guys and would have rated them as excellent if there appearance was better.

I am extremely happy with our experience with Forward Van Lines. Moving is always stressful and in our case with little kids even worse. The entire process was pleasant and professional. I did my research and had several companies provide quotes but Forward Van Lines simply made the best deal. They also offered free storage if needed and some free boxes + free rentable clothing boxes to get started and that made them the best deal by far. But what made this company amazing for us was the fact that our move in date changed on a very short 2 day notice (new construction) and they were able to accomodate the changes. The movers themselves were professional, polite and very hard workers. They took the time to explain everything and were careful with our items. One delicate lamp shade did get damaged and during the unpacking and during the follow up phone call this was handled beautifully. All in all, I highly recommend this company. All of the people I have spoken with, from Darley the Surveyer, to Nirva the Sales Manager to the movers, everyone has been professional, pleasant and genuine.

Our family moved from Miami to Birmingham in Alabama last month.The company provided us a perfect move-out service, even their partner in Birmingham also did a great job with a nice and professional service.

If i could give them 0 reviews that what o would do..This company dosent take their customer propertly.They was supose to deliver my friend staff over 2 weeks ago.The estimate time was 09.12 and guess what its not going to be deliver till 10.05 but if ill pay more so it will be here on 09.28.Never recommend this company to any person and friend i know.

Best movers Ive ever worked with and Ive worked with A LOT. Also, and maybe most importantly, the best value Ive ever encountered. They knocked it outta the park!

The movers were supposed to show up around 9:00am and they arrived at 12:00pm - no apologies, no phone calls, nothing ... Their supervisor could not even get a hold of them ... wow!!! just wow!!! They gave me a quote for 5 hrs, and finished the job in 6 hours and charged me for 7.5 hours!!!! Then they pretended to give me a bogus discount ... My couch is damaged. My bookcases are damage. They have done a pathetic job. I am not sure how these movers got 5 stars from the previous reviewers but they are not very professional ... I could have hired bunch of highschool /college kids off of craigslist and finish the job faster / cheaper, and they would be careful with the furniture. I moved across the country a few times with other moving companies and nothing got damaged; I hired this company to help me move within Miami, and a lot of my furniture is damaged. I am very disappointed :( I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge a great trust-worthy company that I used for my last move. I researched for weeks and quoted my job out with dozens of movers in my area. Forward Van Lines was not too expensive at all. I read their reviews and they all for the most part seemed really good, so I decided to book with them.I used Forward Van Lines last week for a move from an apartment (3rd floor) to another apartment (3rd floor). I booked my move with Nirva, who answered every single question I had.We had been moving things prior to the move and had whatever we wanted the movers to moved packed up and boxed as well as the big furniture. We went from a 2br to a 2br, keep in mind we only had 1br w/ furniture the 2nd was with boxes. I had all of the boxes lined up waiting for the movers if we had time. I was quoted for 3 hrs of service at $95/hr plus a transportation fee of $95. The move in total I paid was about $475 for four hours. The move was quick and they made it stress free. They did cover every item with towels and wraps, however a few scratches here and there on our bed and dining room table. We understand that no one is perfect this will happen no matter who is doing it. Overall I was very impressed with them. The move took a total of 3 1/2 hours from start to finish roughly. I was impressed how much they got done in so little time. I do recommend boxing up as much as you can and let them do the heavy lifting.My only con was that I regret not giving them more, I would have done another hour if I knew how good they would be.So again I recommend them, trust me I was hectic on some stories I heard about movers but they made the process easy and safe.

From start to finish, we had great personalized attention from Forward, especially from Roei (dispatch manager, pronounced “Roy”), who informed us our file was on his desk from the week before packing day to well beyond unpacking/dropoff day. He proved this to be the case, by promptly responding to emails and messages late at night or early in the morning. We did a full-pack and long-distance move from Miami Beach to central Virginia, from the 29th floor of a high-rise condo complex to a 3-story house at the bottom of a steep hill on a cul-de-sac. So there were substantial logistical challenges (using a mid-sized truck instead of a standard 18-wheeler in order to better access the loading area of our condo and new home, working within the confines of the buildings service elevator restrictions, moving everything down and packing the truck efficiently, a long-distance drive, unpacking while snowing, trekking things up several flights of steep stairs with large armoires and mattresses); the guys managed quite well all things considered. There was only minimal and incidental damage - a few scuffs that were easily fixed with furniture marker, a shelf and chair leg that were broken but repaired to our satisfaction in their warehouse and delivered back to us free of charge within two weeks.We did experience a few issues stemming from poor packing by one particular individual in Miami that led to disorganization and missing items on the delievery end but the delivery-day manager (Alex) and Roei both offered accommodations that were satisfactory - e.g. offering to come back and install the missing feet from our huge dresser when they were found in a completely unrelated box several days later (Roei stated he would even send someone out to do it weeks later if needed; and go to Home Depot or Lowes to replace any missing hardware).We were particularly impressed by the professionalism and obvious expertise of Vincent (packing day manager), Alex (delivery/unpacking day manager), and Jennings (driver/packer/unpacker). There were two semi-local guys contracted to help on delivery day who could have done a better job securing screws on end tables and beds but Alex and Jennings were more than willing to spend extra time fixing those mistakes as soon as they were pointed out. On the administration side, Guy came out and spent several hours providing us with a detailed, guaranteed quote and Gina is the point person to get things done when calling in before your move. Both are professional, efficient, and friendly.Bottom line: Moving all of ones earthly belongings is always a headache--there will be glitches--but if you are a reasonable individual who understands this then any issues can be easily and quickly addressed with the Forward team. Communication is key. They are probably not the cheapest option (and readily admit to this), but as with many choices in life, you often get what you pay for. There was not a single request/item we asked them to address that was not done immediately with an absolutely, sir or yes, maam. Furthermore, the additional follow-up by Roei personally post-move was unusual and a pleasant surprise. He seemed to be genuinely conerned about our repairs and settlement/unpacking process (even the weather). We wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone undertaking a long-distance, substantial move and would certainly employ them again in the future.

How did it go.......Hmm. Well to start i called to get a quote. Ashley answered the phone.... my apartment was a one bedroom. We started to do an inventory over the phone.. i had a hard time describing things to her. i asked if possibly someone could come out and just do an inventory list. She said that she was more than happy to accommodate me. Low and behold she was actually my onsite specialist. wow.She did her thing. Got the inventory list and all the information that she needed. once she was done she wrote out a binding estimate of cost. later that day she called me and we went over the list and pricing. i booked by placing a 10% deposit.Day before the move Amber from operations left me me a voice mail. confirming my pick up for the following day.8 am.Following day movers showed up Brian, Tony, and Carlos. They were very fast paced and yet at the same time they were sensitive to how they were packing as well. i felt bad for them so i felt that i could trust them long enough to go get everyone breakfast. surprisingly when i got back the crew was almost finished. i was amazed at how much they were able to do in such a short amount of time. the men took a very small break to eat and then went straight back to work. the crew finished. i was very pleased. later that day nirva called me to touch bases to see how everything went. i told her that the crew was fantastic.a couple days later i received a call from amber to let me know that the truck had left and was headed to TN. a couple days after that the driver Lee called me and told me he was about two days away.... the following day amber and the driver called me to let me know that my belongings would be arriving the following morning.. the next day, Lee arrived right at 8 am. wow these people are very punctual..... later on that evening i unpacked my stuff....i was in even more amazement not a single thing was broken. wow. the forward van lines team is professional and very organized. to be honest this move has been the easiest move i have ever had.i would and will use this company again!BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO ASHLEY, NIRVA, AMBER, BRIAN, TONY, CARLOS AND GUY FOR EVERYTHING YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

I will begin by saying that when its time to move it is very stressful. Especially if you are moving from Boca to Nashville Tn. like with everything i like to do my home work before i make a decision on what company i should use. i am very thankful that i did as well. i uncovered a lot of complaints, nightmares horror stories about how companies will over charge and hold stuff hostage. the moving industry i learned can be a very frightful place if you dont pick the right company.luckily i was able to find Forward Van Lines. i submitted my information through there web site. about 30 minutes later i received a phone call from a very professional woman by the name of Nirva. We did a ball park estimate over the phone to get an idea. this figure was between $3,000 and $3,500.She advised me that the best thing to do in this case would be to have an onsite specialist come out and do a walk through room by room. since i had actually ended up waiting until last minute. i needed an onsite person to come out as soon as possible. Nirva was able to accommodate me with an appointment time between 1 pm and 3 pm the same day.she explained to me that a lady by the name Ashley would give me a call 30 to 45 minutes prior to her arrival. i asked why such a long gap in times. she told me that this was because the onsite specialist is out in the field and the time gives her the time she made need in case of traffic delays. OK makes sense i thought to myself.At 12.35 pm i received a call from Ashley notifying me that she was on her way and that she would be at my residence within 40 min. non the less she arrived 30 mins later. Ashley was very professional and very informative. i learned several things about moving as we walked room by room and she took down an inventory list. i learned unlike most companies what makes them unique is the fact that they do not do shipments by weight or volume. the way that they do their shipment is by an itemized inventory list. after some of the reviews i read i was quite Leary about how companies can go by weight or volume. to me it just seems to be a little shade y. it makes more sense to go with an itemized inventory list. the only way the price can change is by plus or minus items. i also liked it this way to because this way i felt there was less of a chance of something missing since every thing would be inventoried over and over at check check point.after we finished going room by room i was given a binding estimate of cost that totaled.$2988. door to door service. the quote included free boxes to help me finish packing, bed carton for my bed dis-assembly and reassembly and all furniture protected with moving pads prior to transit.later nirva called me. we set the date. i gave her my 10% deposit.the day prior to the move amber another lady called me in the evening around 5 pm and told me the movers would be there between 8 am and 10am the following morning. the crew of four being led by a young gentleman named angel arrived at 8 am on the dot. i was hoping closer to 10am but at least they were here and on time. the guys were dressed in uniforms and ready to go. they worked fast and efficiently. at about noon i ordered pizza for everyone. they were all very nice polite and respectful. after lunch they loaded everything up and off they went with my stuff.once i got to tn i called amber to let her know i was ready for my shipment. 3 days later. the driver Lee called me and we made arrangements for the following day for me to receive my belongings....the following day i was greeted by the handsome Mr. Lee Maman, and his co worker. they unloaded everything, they even placed the boxes according to the rooms they belonged to.... they were very polite and very respectful. all of my items were delivered in one piece . not even a scratch. i will definitely use this company again in the future.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
