The coffee here is the best and so many options! Awesome laid back, island vibe. The burger was delicious and my mom loved the chicken sandwich. Friendly staff and great location. Have been here twice already, can’t wait to come again!

This is a really incredible place! We got here to late yesterday and missed out on the bagels but made it just in the nick of time and we were so very satisfied. Highly recommended for sure

We quickly found parking right next to the Cafe which was very convenient, walked inside and ordered take out right away.The girls were very nice and did my espresso right before our food was ready to go, very quick service!Then I had the pleasure to enjoy the best pancakes 🥞 I’ve ever had in my life.Thank you Tuckaway Cafe for a memorable breakfast

Shrimp boil pot was way too spicy. Not edible. Grouper sandwich was very good, salad good, hamburger and chicken sandwich were good also. Lacked any ambiance. Needed live music.

I got the burger and it was THE best burger I have ever had. I told the manager and she said it’s just regular burger but I don’t know, there was something about it that was just so good. Based on that I’m betting the other stuff is pretty good as well. We do not come to the beach area much but I think we’ve found a new brunch spot. Oh yea, service was awesome too. Very friendly folks.

First time here and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves. Food was done quickly and well. My wife enjoyed a Vanilla Latte, and we had breakfast sandwiches. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Dont forget to tip or bring cash for the tipping jar!

Great little restaurant! Well priced, fun food, and great service. My wife has a few dietary restrictions and they were more than willing to help us out so she could relax and have a good meal on a warm afternoon. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was good, environment was nice. Great coffee menu.Only knocking off one star because some tables were not cleaned off and they had been empty the entire time I was in there. Table I sat at looked clean but had jelly dried on it.

First and last time trying this place. The lox bagel was honestly one of the worst bagels I’ve ever had. At 10AM, they were out of most bagel flavors (how can you be a bagel place and be out of plain?). The waffle was good but small for $6.25....I would consider it more of a snack. The cashier had zero personality, and someone in the back was getting on to her about keeping track of how many bagels she sells. Unprofessional. Some other guy likes to stand in the back and yell at people about where they park.

Awesome breakfast spot. We sat outside with our pup and the employees offered water for her (we love that) even though we had brought water for her. The food was great. My wife got a plain toasted bagel with cream cheese and I got the Sunrise breakfast sandwich and black cold brew coffee. Employees were awesome and the food came out quick. Will definitley go back when in town.

The waffle is awesome. Not what I was expecting at all, but I was pleasantly surprised. Its Liege waffle so it is made with yeast. It is more dense and savory than a regular Belgian waffle. Kind of like a waffle biscuit. Anyway, I got it with strawberries and whipped cream on top and thought it was superb. Definitely hit the spot. Would recommend.

Have come here twice in the last week. Breakfast was the first time and the bagels were so good, as was the wafel. Came here again for dinner and everyone loved their meal. My Dad even ordered a second order of the shrimp! I got the chicken salad and that was also really good.Would come back here again the next time I am on the island.

Got this place from a news article about best brunch places. While not bad it was a far cry from best. Meat for the breakfast is processed junk that you would get at a hotel breakfast buffet. Fish options were great and seemed fresh.

New location, still great customer service! New location has great view of the main drag and comfortable hometown Island feel.Had a sandwich, bread and avocado slices were fresh! Over a dozen different versions of hot and iced coffee. I did utilize the restroom to wash my hand and the restrooms are very clean. Overall great Island vibe and the food is delicious. Theyre open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kind service, good breakfast food, good location. Arrive early (before 9) to avoid long lines and to snag a table. But theres good music to keep you company of you do happen to catch a longer wait.

Best place to eat in Fort Myers. 1pound of gulf shrimp peel and eat for $18 bucks with an excellent mango cocktail sauce. Loved the wraps, burger and smoothies.

Had breakfast here twice. Everything is delicious. Best iced coffee I’ve had in a long time. Bagel sandwiches are steamed which is a little weird but the employee explained to me why. Would recommend trying a waffle!

I grew up On the Island (FMB) it is one of my favorite place to have breakfast, after my morning run on the beach. I am in love with the horseradish sauce!

A personal note to the owners, thank you and your staff for the lovely service and nice breakfast selection. The early bird truly gets the worm on Fort Myers Beach. There is a great selection of food but their selection of breakfast sandwiches and bagels were what we liked, not to mention cold brew and hot brew coffees. Surely youll enjoy the Estero Blvd views, people watching, and a cozy atmosphere at Tuckaway Cafe. Two thumbs up!

Went 10 years ago. The owners were awesome. It was this nice lady and her husband from France who studied culinary all over or something! Made real authentic belgian waffles! The smoothies, coffee, and bagels were also to die for!They do bagels with salmon and cream cheese and onions and tons of other choices!Not just any old average bagel, etc! This place is the best!!!

We were looking for breakfast this morning and stumbled on this place by chance, and boy are we glad we did! The staff was welcoming and helpful when ordering, the establishment was clean and had a super awesome vibe and the food was fantastic! We ALL thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend if you are looking for breakfast on FMB.

Listen, I am not a breakfast person. Nor am I a coffee/ bread person. HOWEVER, go spend your money here 😂 The bagels are fresh every morning. Get there early before the flavor you want runs out. The people are so nice and the girls make great Lattes!

Coffee and waffles were okay, but nothing great. The meat and egg inside my breakfast sandwich tasted like microwaved frozen stuff and made the bagel soggy. Presentation was terrible in a cardboard boat. For what we received, it was overpriced.

We’ve travelled to the area every year for the past 5 years and have breakfast here a few times during each stay. During this COVID time, we ordered through Grubhub one morning. A driver never picked it up. We waited for over an hour and my husband called Tuckaway to check. They had the order ready. And the manager brought it to us. That’s what I call above and beyond service! The bagel sandwiches are one of a kind, fresh and flavorful. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry.

Food is delicious, specialty coffees are great. Belgian waffle is significantly over priced for the size of waffle they give you. The service was excellent and staff was friendly. If your looking for cheap breakfast however, this is not the place. 2 coffees, 1 waffle w/topping, plate breakfast, and a pancake for 33$ is pricy to say the least.

Favorite breakfast place on Estero Island! The wafel is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend it. My friend got a bagel sandwich and loved it as well. We both got frozen lattes and it was probably the best frozen coffee drink Ive ever had. The place was cute and there is outside seating. It was clean. The staff was very kind.

Ordered our food on the menu. Mine was $7.05 (the Quentin) and another order $6.95 (chicken salad). The girl said it came with sides we grabbed drinks. Total was over $24.00. I asked why and she said the prices change. How I dont know. Wouldnt go there again. Those prices advertised on the menu should be the price. I dont care how you try to explain it to me. Not happy about that. The only reason we paid is because we were both hungry.If your prices are high, I understand that. But advertise it that way.REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE: No where on that board does is say that these are prices for different hours. Your emloyee told us that it came with sides but not for the menu price. I also said something to a different store about our experience and they said were not the only ones saying this. Please fix the issue or have your employees specify before letting us complete out order. Your reputation is degrading by the day. If you didnt have different tourist all year long, the place wouldnt get much business. 25$ for 2 sandwiches is rediculous anyway.

Check out Heavenly Biscuits across the street instead.

A quaint place with yummy food and the coffee is great. The waffle with fresh strawberries I had was in no need of any syrup, which made me happy to not have added any. No need, as the waffle was packed with its own flavor.Should you find yourself in Fort Myers Beach and wake up one morning with a craving for a delicious breakfast, Id recommend stopping by the Tuckaway Cafe. You wont leave disappointed.

Regular coffee was amazing. Husband and I shared “Meatwich” Bagel on everything bagel and the waffle (purchased with whipped cream and mango). Loved the bagel. Waffle is thick, sweet, and different- husband loved it but I couldn’t get over it not being a “traditional American waffle” haha. I recommend this restaurant and try the waffle, you may like it.

Nice little cafe we stopped at for breakfast. Walking distance from the main beach area. Seating in or out. Reasonably priced traditional breakfast special with good portions. Gluten-free bagel option for reasonable upcharge. Cold brew coffee maybe a little pricey, but again, a good size. Manager (owner?) stopped to ask about service.

A pretty place but never had I’ve paid almost $10.00 for a breakfast sandwich.

This place was the BEST. We went to Fort Myers in May and went here for breakfast most days. The Greenpeace bagel became an instant favorite, and when we miss Fort Myers we recreate it at home. Coffee was great. Staff were super friendly and welcoming! The Cafe itself was cute and clean. Next time we make our way back down from the Northeast, we will return to Tuckaway! Thank you for the great experience!

My husband ordered the breakfast special (eggs, toast, potatoes and meat of choice) He ordered with sausage. I ordered the waffle which a side of bacon. When breakfast came my husband had my bacon and no sausage. We mentioned it to the waitress. She looked at receipt and says youre right you ordered sausage. She went to get it and when she came back she says you werent charged for the bacon and if you want it youll have to pay for it!! Now other diners, cafes or restaurants would have apologized and brought out the sausage. It was clearly a mistake on their part because the cashier knew I ordered bacon. I could hear the staff discussing it. Wont go back. The waffle was supposed to be so go was tasteless.

Wonderful coffee and breakfast!

Excellent experience - the lady taking orders was very welcoming and amiable. After seating a gentleman quickly brought me my cold brew coffee and was nice as well. Shortly thereafter another woman brought me my bagel sandwich and waffle which was delicious. A proper Belgian waffle and a perfectly steamed bagel sandwich overflowing with eggs, sausage and cheese. After finishing up my food I enjoyed a brief conversation with one of the staff and was thanked before leaving. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The coffee bar is great. Awesome lattes. The special is a really great deal with choice of bagel with eggs meat and grits or hash browns. Service is good and best of all they have their own parking lot. We go every sunday after mass.

Absolutely loved it. A picture of one of their sandwiches (all bagels) on the web drew us to it. We came back and bought 4 more for our family. The Meatwich with the spinach parmesan bagel (pictured) was absolutely worth every penny. The frappe my fiancé purchased was made exactly as she wanted. The smoothies were top-tier as well. An excellent hidden gem on Ft. Myers Beach. We will be back.

In my opinion this is the best breakfast cafe on the beach. Menu isn’t that diverse but their steamed bagel sandwiches are delicious. The food always comes out fast even with they’re busy. Prices are SUPER reasonable. Good coffee with custom drinks available. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Always friendly service.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Very nice outdoor eating area (alongside sidewalk/ street) on a very sunny day. They also have a spacious indoor eating area too. Our party of four all enjoyed their food and drinks immensely. The service was friendly & very good.

This was our first time here and we got bagel sandwiches and coffee to-go. We got the McGregor and the Sunrise and both were gooey and delicious. Well bookmark this spot for future trips to the beach!

We LOVE the Tuckaway Cafe. The sandwich choices are awesome. We split the chicken salad wrap (6.95) and the waffle with nutella, and both were so yummy. The waffle is more like a dessert than a breakfast item. The waffle will be a must-have every time we go back. The cafe has a very cool beach decor, with many coffee options, both hot and cold. This is a great spot at Fort Myers Beach.
