Unreasonable management - I had reserved a piece of equipment for use on a Friday. The day before my rental we had a terrible thunderstorm that washed out a culvert crossing on my road. It is a 7 mile long dirt road and the culvert washed out @ mile 6.5. I explained all of this to C & C and there was no way that I could pick up and use the equipment. I also explained that the work I needed to perform had to be completed on that day. This made the rental un-necessary. C&C refused to return my deposit. I understand that there are reasons to place a deposit and reserve equipment. This is generally so that the business is protected against the renter changing their mind and not securing the rental. This situation was clearly not the same and there was no reason to simply take my deposit. They may be a reasonable company otherwise but this was a bad experience and I will never be back under any circumstance.

Great rental store n helpful staff

Paid $100 to rent an old outdated sod cutter that we waited 2 weeks for them to fix. We rented the machine before the rain started and it was completely empty of fuel so we took it to the shop and put our fuel in it and immediately carried it straight back to C&C to return it because of rain so I still got charged $53 plus the cost of my fuel for a machine that I did not even crank a single time and only had for a little over an hour total. I feel like this is a shabby way to do business and not the right way to treat your patrons I definitely will not be back.

They were knowledgeable about their equipment. They did everything they said they would do and they picked the machine up 30 minutes earlier than promised. In the mentone Fort payne area they are the go to rental equipment area. I had a great experience with these folks.

I have rented a number of times from this business and the lady always did every thing possible to make it a pleasant interaction. Last week I called to reserve a piece of equipment for the following Monday and was told by some guy that it would be there for pickup at 7 am. Hired two guys to work with the equipment traveled 20 miles to be told it was already rented and would not be available for several days. The nice Lady was not there. Bad experience and costly. I purchased the equipment from another business.

I took my Stihl weedeater to C and C rentals for repairs, they told me that it would cost around $300.00 to repair and that I may want to buy a new one for a little more money. I asked them what caused the problem and they said it was due to me either mixing the fuel wrong or not having my weedeater serviced (which was serviced by them)They even offered to keep my weedeater and wave the $35.00 fee for looking at it. I paid the $35.00 and took my weedeater to Rays Saws in Centre, Rays fixed my weedeater for under $100.00.

This is the worst place to rent anything they just ripped me off 800 bucks, rude and have no business manners at all, rented bobcat for 40 hours only used it 5 hours hydraulic line broke they come took it and kept all my money I give them one star for being the worst rental place and being smart enough to ripp me off!
