The workers are always friendly but I was in a pinch because Walmart was out of boxes and I had to pay FIVE DOLLARS FOR A SMALL 10X10X10 BOX. Are you out of your flipping mind. Dont EVER let yourself get into that situation.
Off and on service. Most times it is quick and easy drop offs for me. One time I was told I had to buy the tape to tape my package up (they had always taped it for me).. So I bought an entire roll of package tape just for that one instance. Most times the employees are friendly and helpful... But there is a young girl there that isnt friendly and gives one the sense of rudeness just in her lack of personality. Oh well, thanks to Amazons new set up that allows me to drop things off without a label, my experiences have been good ones. 🤗
The folks working there were friendly enough. But I took a file by on Friday afternoon to be printed in book form on better paper stock than normal bond. This is for an instructional manual for my office. The printing is fine. But when I got it back to my office and tried to add it to my 3-ring binder, the holes they punched would not work. Theyre not standard. On top of that, they punched the last 3 chapters and the index completely backwards. My last time to use The UPS Store for anything.
I had a package sent to Colorado that was time sensitive. I was assured it would be fine and to just let them take care of it. The package ended up getting lost, spent almost a month trying “to locate it”, and then redeliver to the correct address. The people that work at this location do not seem very knowledgeable about their jobs and were of no help, and very rude at that! The shipment was ruined by the time it was actually delivered and when I contacted them to see if I could at least get my money back for the shipping, or anything for that matter, they were extremely rude.I recommend USPS or The Package Store! Anywhere but here!
Unexceptable customer service!Rude seasoned employee and improperly trained new one. Listed as an Amazon no print return drop off facility however they are unable to scan the Amazon generated return label and want to charge you $2.33 for another. Waited for 10+ minutes for them to receive the label that was sent directly to their verified email twice. Asked about alternative options - none. Walked out and took the package to the local Package Store in and out in under 2 minutes free off charge.
I have no idea how ups is in other parts of the country but when it hits ft.payne it is the absolute worst shipping company ever. Swear they dont update tracking there 70% of the time. They constantly miss scheduled delivery time its so bad Ive convinced my company to no longer use them and instead we ship FedEx. I swear I wish Amazon would make FedEx an option.
I ordered something that was expensive. My time frame window was between 9-1pm. I have stated home all day to insure the package was not left out too long due to I live in apartments. It’s nearly 5 and the package has not been delivered. These guys really need to stick to there quotes they give people. I’ve wasted my whole day waiting. I will not be using this service again if I can help it.
I dont recommend this business, I was over charged, given terrible quality photos and was expected to keep. She refused to make it right, would not give refund. I wish I could show a picture of the items that I was charged for.Update:The owner contacted me and offered a complete refund. I really appreciate that he was kind and understanding. He asked for a copy to show the employees at that location the errors that were made. I believe Larry is an honest business man and he deserves another chance.
Only use this location if it is last ditch, while the atmosphere was comfortable and quiet the only thing these folks are interested in is how fast they can take your money. The young lady working the counter was rude and completely unhelpful. She had an air if disdain when I asked any questions as if it was just too much to bear. I asked for a next day shipment and was given a regular label. When I asked she just told me that I was doing ok. When I finished the label o asked if that was all I needed to do to get next day shipping, she got upset that I hadnt made it clear I wanted next day shipping. I clearly asked twice for a next day label. Over all I would use the USPS from now on, it is a small wonder that anything gets shipped from this location. This UPS store had garbage service. Customers BEWARE!
My grandmother passed away a little over a month ago. My aunt and mother went to print obituary cards for her. When they got home and opened the package, there were cards that were supposedly printed on card stock that you could see right through. The cards were double printed, and you could barely read them. When my mother took them back to be refunded, the owner blamed my aunt for telling her how to do it the wrong way. She yelled and insulted my mother, calling her uneducated. Imagine owning a UPS store and having to ask a customer to explain to go through the process. You, ma’am, should educate yourself on how to do the services that your own store offers. My family will NEVER do business with this store again. It is a shame that you would treat anyone this way for YOUR mistake, especially while those people are dealing with the death of a dear family member. I’d give this store no stars if that were an option. Don’t go to this store. They’re hateful people.
The service was excellent. I had a client go there to have a document notarized last minute and the staff made sure it went as smooth as possible. I wish I could use them for all of my transactions.
So very sad that people choose to make money wrongfully, off the death of others family members. My sisters and I Went to the UPS store in Fort Payne to have some obituary cards printed of our deceased parents, the lady at the counter only let me print one copy and then made copies of that making all but the original very poor quality. On one family members cards the owner mistakenly forgot to turn the paper and double printed over the first copy making it completely impossible to read, but laminated over it anyway and charged me for the unreadable copy. Even worse blamed me for the error even though she was the only one with access to the printer which was behind the counter. Great way to run a business, blaming the customer for your error and even worse selling a product that was meant to be a gift that can’t even be read. When my sister took the cards back to the store the owner refused to try to make it up or even give a refund while screaming and insulting my sister. A very expensive lesson since we were over charged to begin with and still are without the obituary cards. This is a very dishonest way of doing business, not worthy of anyone’s business. We will never do business with that store again.
This UPS Store is the most hatefully, rude, disrespectful bunch of inexperienced kids I have ever seen in a franchised store. I deal with the local Authorized Shipping Center call The Package Store they are the best and very smart and knowledgeable people, they can ship UPS, FedEx. DHL and USPS giving customers more options instead of just one choice.
Overpriced and management is rude to employees
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Always have done a good job for me!
I was charged 2.50 for one copy of paper and no computer use. I sent my page via email to their computer and the foreign lady was rude and of absolutely no use or help to explain why. We will no longer use this location.
Super friendly staff. Quick in and out stop.
Nice store and staff.
Great service.
