The seems way friendly people there are nice and friendly we just bought a boat there met many and interesting people so many Kool old boats of every size

Edit: Pete has allegedly given the keys to the new mechanic working on my boat…The new mechanic has asked that we stop negatively reviewing Riverside Marina and Pete. This doesn’t change that doing business with Pete may result in the same experience we had.I have a lot to say and did say in my last review that I removed in an attempt to get my keys back from Pete however, he is now reneging his offer to return my keys if I removed negative reviews BUT I took it down and now he’s still keeping my keys while also trying to extort me. I’ll update with all details once I have time but I don’t want anyone else falling prey in the meantime. Beware.

The way Pete conducts his business is absolutely terrible! First he holds our boat for 2 months and does nothing to it. then tries to charge my aunt 500$ for a diagnosis that never happened when we went to pick it up because it has been sitting there idle. when she gets there he threatens to hold the keys to it, which he did. Then he said if you take down the negative reviews I will give you the keys back so we did. No he is re-niging on the deal and is trying to make us pay 200$ for the keys and trying to extort my aunt and her family. I WOULD STEER CLEAR FROM RIVERSIDE MARINA AT ALL COSTS! The way this company conducts business is childish and VERY VERY SHADY,they are thieves and crooks! I would recommend pretty much anywhere else besides this marina.

2nd review since I took one down already in good faith that I would get my keys back. Pete is clearly not a man of his word and then threatened to post my past. It’s already public knowledge. I won’t be bullied. I’m a man of my word, Pete cleaely is not as he continues to hold my keys hostage. Beware.

I have had my boat there for 2 years and I couldnt be happier. Sally is extremely helpful for newcomers, and everyone around is so kind. I feel very confident in leaving my boat in trustworthy hands like Sally.

I have had 2 boats stored there for 4 years and Sue and Sally have been great to deal with. I love this place it is around 13 miles from my house and 1.5 miles to the north Bridge where I launch my boat which is trailered. So convenient and the price is the best anywhere. It is what I would define is a working man’s boat yard where are you can always spend as much or as little time working on your vessel as needed. Have met many people over the last four years there and they are friendly and helpful and it’s a place I look forward to going as much as possible. I have never had a problem there and would suggest if someone has a trailered vessel or a very large one that needs to be put on stilts it’s the place to go.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT trust your boat with this place you’re better off going elsewhere !!

HORRIBLE BUISNESS and person named PETE! Stole the keys to my best friends boat and will NOT RETURN THEM TO HER ! Do not trust or waste your time with this business. Unprofessional !!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would ! BEWARE !!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Having to call the cops to get your boat back, Pete trying to extort money and then stealing parts off the boat...smdh. No way to run a business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

The place is really worth going to so you can see what the worst marina around looks like. The owners have some family rivalry going on and they dont put ANY money back into the place. Could be a really great place if they got their business together.But if youre on a super tight budget..... this is the place for you. Just get your work done, and get out asap!

Awesome spot to pull your boat for bottom cleaning and any other work.Probably 400 boats there at any time100 in water100 getting rehabbed to go right back into water with folks living on them during work100 long term storage100 left probably never going back.I would bet if you were rehabbing a boat here there would be lots of folks who could guide you through it. You could probably find a boat here to rehab too.

I have been bringing my commercial boat here annually for seven years now. I am hauling again this year as well. They can get the job done and they have one of the best welders on the treasure coast. They welded my new fuel tank and have made components for my rig as well. The lift operator is careful and friendly. This is a family operation.

Tim is great at first then you will notice nothing in writing and cash preferred,. He is a rip off artist, everyday another client is yelling at him for huge bills and very slow work. Place is a mess

Great small do it yourself boatyard. The rates are competitive and people friendly. It is close to West Marine and other boat stores. I would take my boat here for a haul out. I would not keep it long term for hurricane season as the boats are crammed in too close and there are no tie downs.

No frills boat yard. One of the last true boat yards left. Perfect for everyone looking to haul out, do the work, and get back in the water.

I have only visited here. It appears to be over utilized. Boats and cars everywhere. Not the cleanest of conditions. Boaters appear generally happy and enjoy working on their boats. There is an ongoing squabble between the owners, who are family members, about who owns what. I believe once that is resolved, conditions will improve.

Had my bottom painted for my boat Tim boy overcharged me and Ill can also say that hes not paying his employees thats what they tell me anyway some days you have employees most days you dont just be careful what you do here

Tim takes his time but he does it right the final product is a nice boat with a great engine it safe to take your family out

I was ashore in this marina from February until late May 2019. I am an European and was traveling back and forth several times to outfit the boat for an Atlantic passage. After the successful Atlantic voyage I am giving out this report for all the other fellow cruisers.Good things about this yard;- you can DIY and basically do whatever you want on your boat alone, nobody will bother you, reception will receive all of your incoming packages (ordered to Marina address).- very kind & helpful reception,- Relatively cheap compared to other yards around.Intriguing things:- repairs/upgrades from the yard Staff is never made on time and when it finally was done the price was always 2-2,5fold higher to the previously agreed fixed price (the same with everyone which worked for me; underwater body/keel, welder, rub rail repairs).Since the marina is family operated you can not say you will not pay i.e. to the welder since agreed price was so much lower - since they will not let you go into the water unless all bills are paid …- If the yard staff will work on your boat please check all the materials which they bring and use on your boat (the charges for what they bring with them from the marina yard store are outrageously overpriced and prices generalised, I think also they charge for things which were never used …- if the Yard staff works for you watch closely the clock - do not get yourself fooled!- they want you to pay with cash and they charge extra % if you pay with credit or/and debit card (I was said it is not possible to pay with a card …. so I was cycling every day to closest ATM to bring up daily cash allowance withdrawal … at the end I was short for few hundred $ (as the bill was so much bigger) and I was able to pay remaining with the card ...- yards Mechanic was unable to repair my engine, but he just gave up without a solution after a week, but I had to pay his works anyway (85$/hour)….and find another engine specialist which did the repairs.- Toilets are extremely dirty in this yard and it is hard to find such a dirty lavatory anywhere. Ive never seen such a dirty place anywhere else in the world (I was doing all the toilet things on my boat …).- Water in the yard has sulphur like smell … very bad water, so not good for drinking, not for the tanks either. Sometimes it has some green dirt in it so it is even not very good to wash the boat with it.Some people in the yard looks strange, stoned or/and red necked …I have been traveling a lot in my life and have never seen so many strange people around (Maybe because this is Florida?).What I was missing in this yard is a bar or a clean area where fellow cruisers or workers! could gather and exchange experience or drink a coffee or Beer ...This Marina has a huge potential, if it would be managed & operated properly.

Wonderful DIY yard on Floridas Treasure. People in yard are friendly, owners are on site and shopping is close by.

This is work performed by Riverside marinaFt. Pierce, Florida Marina, original not the one listed above, pending review of name is being contested, the correct office is located on the left side toward the main entrances ship store and metal fabrication, mechanics, fiberglass and yacht coatings, also full line of all yacht drive systems, Mrs Sally or Mrs Sue the owners of the largest marina in Ft. Pierce. Ask for Joe or Jason the sons of the owners, AJ also son of owner, so dont be confused, the real Riverside marina is located on the left side of the marina. This is where all the work is performed .

Dirty,messy, unkept boatyard with many derelict boats, mostly dirt/mud. Docking is a horrible joke with sunken boats and awful docks. Extension cords for electric, a dangerous mess.

I checked prices beforehand and this place seemed to be the place to go. However, Tim, the owner certainly found ways to tack on just about everything under the kitchen sink to the cost of this yard visit. Check before you go, and dont go here.

Excellent boat yard....ft. Pierce inlet state park has great water ways & is ideal for boating...many boat part stores in close proximity to marina...marina also carries nearly everything you will need...staff @ marina is professional friendly & willing to work w/ boaters...great DIY boat yard 5 stars

As I see the other negative reviews remember Tim concannon is the owner of Riverside Marina Heritage Marina this Pete Ive never heard of ..Tim is worse than all the rest for taking your boat not telling you costs and taking forever to finish DONT FORGET TO POST NEGATIVE REVIEWS TO THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE AS WELL

Cheapest place to work on your own boat!!

Our stay at Riverside Marina was a wonderful experience. Everyone was polite and friendly. The only place in Florida left with facilities and services. Professional Friendly and Down to earth family.. Thankyou Sheila Concannon and Tim Concannon. Professional workplace with a family atmosphere.

I agree with the 1 stars....even one of their owners suggested not to use them...having personal disputes within the family....on ownership....who wants to get in the middle of friction..while needing to GET REAL WORK DONE. I GIVE THE MARINA A ZERO.People living on the marina property HIDE there with legal problems...WHO NEEDS THAT?? Say.... No to Crime & Drugs!!

They were extremely kind and helpful, and issues between the two owners and the state of the yard and office concerned us so we opted to go elsewhere

They need a sign that you can see at night. Hard to find in the dark. The entrance looks more like a boat yard. It is hard to see the water for all the boats that are dry docked there.

Nice people but lacks amenities

This is the worst boat yard to work on that I have encountered in 20 years of marine customs.trash and extension cords are everywhere. No water or readily available power source. Boats parked haphazardly in the roadway and a staff that seems not to care about their customers. Go to any other boat yard in the area you will be better off.
