Its a very small but very nice botanical garden. Its quiet and calm and relaxing. There is a nice selection of plants to see and a wonderful bonsai garden! 4 stars only because you shouldnt plan on spending much time there. We doubled back on a few exhibits and still only spent about an hour to see everything.

A wonderful way to spend a few hours. The bonsai gallery is way cooler that I initially thought it would be, as I did not really know what to expect. The garden was very peaceful and had a variety of other cool plants throughout. There is a garden cat who lives on property who is so sweet! I found her way in the back eating a lizard.

Although this garden could use some TLC, the bonsai collection did it for me. I was quite surprised and amazed by the large variety of bonsai plants. I was told its the largest collection in the US. It is a must see. Some new plants had just arrived from a private collector so they are in the process of increasing and expanding the already large number. I highly recommend a visit to see these spectacular plants.

Its a nice small botanical garden great for kids. It has the largest collection of bonsai trees I have seen. And make sure to bring some bug spray if the temperature is above 80 degrees there will be a lot of mosquitoes.

It was a nice way to spend a Friday afternoon with a cute cat that followed us around the garden, the bonsai garden was AMAZING Ive never seen so many different kinds in one place. They had a cute kids area too.The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it looked a little run down not a lot of flowers but it was only 8$ per person so not complaining

Little gem of a botanical garden. It is home to the largest subtropical bonsai collection in the United States. Many other botanical gardens are over-manicured, however Heathcote has a very quirky and relaxed feel that makes visitors feel truly immersed in everything green. Many magical nooks and ponds are scattered about.

Nice little garden to visit with the family and enjoy nature!🌳 We paid $8 entry and spent about 1:40 minutes walking around the garden...We wore mask in the giftshop but were allowed to remove them as we walked through the gardens....There is a wide selection of bonsai trees, and the kids enjoyed the play area. The herb section is pretty non existent and there was only a very small selection of flowers. The gift shop had plenty to choose from at a decent price. Overall it was a good first visit experience. I will probably go back with the kids for the Christmas lighting. ⛄🎄

I paid $8 for entry to the Heathcote Botanical Gardens. Friendly dogs are welcome so I brought my dog Roscoe. I really enjoyed the mosaic benches and the fairy garden. They also have a bonsai garden which provided a very unique experience. I was a little disappointed that they used the Historic Pioneer House as storage. I was unable to walk through it and read the history due to limited accessibility. The overall condition of the gardens was in fair condition. It didn’t look very well maintained, but it was still a very enjoyable, tranquil experience.

Super cute light display in a beautiful botanical garden. Great for kids and they have a scavenger hunt to find some animals figures in the light displays. Hildy the office cat was out ( I think that is the name I heard) and the cat is super friendly and we gave the cat some 💕 love! We found all the items and you get a voucher for some free ice cream. 👍👍 The moon was full and gorgeous in the clouds. The bonsai display was my fav!!! I hate wearing a mask cause I get a little more clumsy. Anybody else?? Well, we highly recommend!!! Happy Holidays all and Blessings ❤️!

Went here a couple days ago. It was okay, but definitely not worth $16 for my girlfriend and me to walk around for an hour. Multiple areas were “under construction” so we couldn’t see them, and nothing was said about this before purchasing tickets. Maybe it was the off-season, but either way they should be offering a discount if that’s the case, not charging full price. I definitely wouldn’t consider this a destination spot for the next time we are in town.

Not really worth the $8 for what you see unless you really like bonsai trees, but it seems like they have a good cause and it’s nice they have a veggie garden to see. The herb garden was unfortunately closed when we went, but the butterfly section had a lot of butterflies so that was nice. I wouldn’t go back and pay for admission again, but I would enjoy volunteering to help plant and garden there!

Having the chance to go and experience the 5th Anual light show was amazing. The best part is the casual atmosphere with live music (keyboard pianist). The weather held up, it was a nice 75-degree evening walk. Reading all of the plant type names and genus/ species was informative as well. It did not feel like a 1.5 mile walk since it was self-paced. The featured bonsai display was stunning. #ScubaJay

Beautiful, quaint garden. Small compared to others Ive been to in the past, can quickly go through giving about 30-45 minutes to see everything without feeling rushed. My favorite was the Reflection Garden. Serene. Secluded. Just enough to sit and meditate for a few. We went 10/20/19 for a plant sale and walked away with 2 gorgeous centerpieces for our balcony for under $20. They even provide memberships you can sign up for to gain admission for other gardens in the area, including Bok Towers.

Such a waste of money. We came here on a glimpse. For an 6- or was it 8$ for entrance. It was not worth it. It was more like a backyard garden than an actual garden that you will have to pay. Spend your money somewhere else. Though they said that they have the largest collection of Bonsai in America. But I still dont think it was worth it.

It was daytime but we could see all the holiday lights throughout the garden. I bet the lights are spectacular at night.
