Great place to find some cool vintage stuff. Problem is they charge too much with little to no reason especially in the shoes. Any nike shoe no matter how ugly or beat up it is costs a minimum of $25 (easily worth $4) which is absolutely ridiculous considering they get all this stuff for free. They don’t even donate that much, it’s still a for profit business. Most of the staff is nice but I’ve had some weird moments there where the staff was over the top rude with nothing happening to provoke them to act out.
Over priced items, no dressing room, if you need to return an item you can only exchange which means you either lose money or have to spend more. If you use a 20% off reward on a item that needs to be exchanged because it’s defective you lose that reward as it will not transfer to your new purchase. The goodwills in town are far and away better than this place and that’s sad.
Its ironic that they ask full retail prices for things that have been donated by the citizens of Ft Smith & surrounding area.It started out to be an affordable place to get clothes, shoes and formal wear. Now their prices are right there with retail stores. They used to be a choice between updating your wardrobe or wearing what you already have in your closet.Thats why many quit shopping there and are going to consignment shops or it out folks who are not trying to get full price & help folks out.For something thats meant to help the boys and girls club I think its more about big payroll instead of helping those in need.
Usually find some good bargains. Some stuff way over priced. Workers usually helpful and pleasant. Need more cashiers most of the time.
LOVE this store....... Try to not go so much cause they sure know how to take all my money !! 😂😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰
Nice store. Great employees. This store helps everyone.
I love savers.. I bought 5 pairs of pants, 3 shirts and a baggie of toys for my grandson for under $30 dollars...
Clean, nice people work there. Prices are very good
Went there today to by some jeans. Picked out 4 pair, went to the front where their fitting rooms (use) to be to try them on. Was told they nolonger had fitting rooms. I asked what a customer was supposed to do if they couldnt try something on to see if they fit before they were purchased?I was told try them on at home, if they didnt fit, bring them back for an exchange.WTH.
Have small puppy, weighs less than 2#, bought 2 bags of small stuffed toys for him for less than $4! Happy puppy, having a blast!!
Great selection. Forgot it was Senior day so I got a big surprise of a discount. Very helpful, friendly personnel.
Smelled like old clothes and treasure. Its a good thing.
In and out fair prices. Very cool on the inside which is nice some stores are way to hot to shop
Lovw Savers favorite store ver clean and agonized
How can you charge poor people 25$ for NOT even gentley used 👟. Leather pealing off, soles need to be glued back on. I mean dont forget youre just a glorified yard sale. Stop OVER pricing your USEd items. -19.99 for house shoe
I came here for CDs and found an awesome selection. I was so happy! At first there wasnt very many that I liked, then one of the associates said she was bringing out the next shipment. I waited until she came back and it was worth it. So maybe if you cant find what you need, ask and they might have more.
Great prices always changing stock
Huge store and large selection. My wife and I were excited to check it out. However, I was quickly disappointed. The prices on clothing are through the roof. On average, your standard shirt was $12-17 which is 3-5 times what the average Goodwill shirt costs. I’m not sure how they’re moving clothing at such expensive prices.
For donated stuff it is very expensive. They do usually have cool things to look at but... probably because no one wants to pay the price to have it.
Great deals and nice staff, but I am ready for the no trying it on policy to be over.
I enjoy shopping there. You save money. Everybody is very nice and friendly.
I MISS SAVERS SO MUCH!!!! THAT WAS IN NLR. ARKANSASPLEASE RE-OPEN AGAIN SOON IN NORTH LITTLE ROCKARKANSAS
Some things are a great find but other things are complete trash.
Not bad prices are a bit high tho
Huge place. Great selection and prices. Workers were very friendly and helpful
I have 4 teens,. I usually am very happy with the quality and styles here. Covid has caused delays in donations though so we did not have as much variety of items this time. I definitely recommend though, we always leave with at least one outfit!
Very safe with dividers closed dressing rooms and sanitation on way in
Professional Staffing. Respectful to my Family.
Used to be good and worth buying from. Things are too expensive now. Go to Goodwill instead at least they respect your pocketbook and offer discounts 24/7
They have stopped allowing you to try on clothes because of covid. So now we get to go out TWICE. Regardless, Savers is a nicely organized place to find 2nd hand clothes at a decent price.
They have a pretty good selection on everything. If you need a certain item of clothing you will very likely find what your looking for. Some items are priced cheaply and others a little expensive but nothing outrageous. My main problem is the rude staff. Ive been in there a total of three times and all three the employees have been rude. Theres always someone standing in the initial entryway and I say hello to them and they just make eye contact with me but say nothing. At checkout they say nothing to you and barely look at you and I see that as a lack of interest. I will still shop here but I prefer other stores with better customer service.
Love love love this place. You have to really look but you will find so many gems.
Quite a bit to look at as far as inventory goes. Well organized too. But like others point out, some items are ridiculously over-priced. A used mug for $6.99? No thank you.
If I could give it a zero I would but the ppl that work there are good ppl and they have to work there with ALMOST EVERYONE COMING IN WITH NO MASK so many ppl coming into the ER with symptoms of covid in fort Smith and then find out they have it just cause they didnt wear a mask...these ppl have to work and dont have a choice as to everyone coming in w/o a mask!!
I love Savers. Love the quality of clothes and styles. Prices rock. Employees are helpful and polite. U will love Savers.
You can always find something for your home and excellent quality of clothing!!
I had called up to savors and needed to return some cloths that didnt fit and they told me I the phone I could return the items and I drove up all the way from oklahoma to do so and when I got hershey told me that the dont return and only exchange ok they didnt have what fits me and then I went up to same cashier and told them. They got hatefully to me and tolde sorry and said u can either hold on to the clothes or donate them back so I do atedthem back because I cant drive all this way it was just a stop in for and emergency kinda of situation and it was just ba bad experience all togeather just know savors is about there shelves and not for the community
Clean, well organized and plenty of items in stock. Friendly staff too
Wish I could rate it lower. Items Savers gets for free are upcharged as if they were new items at a legit retail store. Here at Savers you wont even find the specialized chargers or proprietory cords needed to run any of the electronics. Theyre separated from the primary device and hidden so you have to dig for them if they exist and if you want to pay an extra double the cost. They had broken disks; and a Destiny xbox game going for 6 when the game is provided free from the actual company. If you do find a game thats only triple its actual value, its probably broken, cracked, and scratched to heck.Plus there was a super lazy cashier today just waiting for nothing to happen while over twenty people were waiting to be checked out. I left without purchasing anything.
Always find EVERYTHING that I dont need and nothing that I do but still love to go through and look all the same
Found a sack full of toy cars for my grandson for 6 dollars.
Great product and great prices
Ilove the store they have friendly staff customer service is great the only thing I am concerned with is I cannot get on the savers site
The shop was in disarray. I didnt like it much.
Organized, clean, large selections and nice staff. Recommend and I will return.
Great place with a great heart. Reasonable prices.
I used to shop there weekly, but its gotten so expensive Im better off buying new in an actual store. Theres no reason freely given items should be up-charged so exorbitantly to people in need.Edit: was 2 star, dropped it to 1 star. For some reason they break down the technology and separate anything and everything from its power chords, hard drives, and any other necessary wires that make the unit work. Why? Tech is so specialized and savers just wants to make money on your misery.
Lots to choose from. Staff were pleasant
This Savers is clean and well organized compared to other thrift stores. And the staff tend to be very friendly and they have a decently selection of books for readers. However the bathrooms are dirty at times, but not terribly and the prices can be high for a thrift store. But overall Id recommend a stop by if your wanting to save money.
Prices are to high, if they were a little lower would be there all the time.
Giving Savers one star simply because they will not give you a refund for an item you cannot even try on in the store, even though they make it seem as if you can get your money back. I paid $13 for a shirt thinking I could simply return the item and get my money back if it didn’t fit. However, this was not the case. I was told to find a different item when I tried to get my money back. Who in their right mind wants to exchange for a different item at SAVERS!!!??? Nobody. There is no guarantee that you find an item you will like. If we return an item, we want our money back.
A little bit of everything and good prices with a helpful friendly staff.
If you think the prices are decent, youre part of the problem. What happened to thrift stores benefitting lower income folks?
Always a great place 2 shop, never know what kind of good things Ill find..luv this store, wish there was one close to my physical address in Missouri south of St. Louis..
Love this place! If you are willing to dig you can find some great deals.
I always find all kinds of goodies in here!
I want to say this store by far is one of the most the most enjoyable places to shop in the fort smith/Van buren area. To start they observe the covid 19 rules and regulations. And their staff wear masks as we shoppers we too. But they go beyond clean they are organized well staff so if you need assistance with finding what you want they are more than helpful o help you find that perfect pair of jeans or that special little black dress for that special upcoming party or occasions this store has so much to look at but they didnt forget about the men. They have a department for you too! Listen my man comes in with me and shops and buys he just puts them in my cart and goes back to where he left off. They have from infants all the way down to us seniors radios to electronics sheets to quilts curtains to drapes custome jewerly to Halloween costumes. They have it all or close to it. I really like this store and enjoy shopping there!! Friendly employees that enjoy help people/you. Its very well organizedAnd its cleaned and so are the clothes hanging on the racks! Purses & accessories shoes sneakers boots booties for the entire crew that needs outfitting. Go and discover this store and sign up to get on their lists they can give you the details. As this old saying at the mall was shop til you drop you wont find it this way you be jumping with joy over how much $$ you have saved you can come back again again etc etc
They got about everything you need
Great place very clean stuff they resale
I would give 5 but the prices on the shoes, man. I mean some are worth it but priced well above anyone who comes to savers.. $27.99 for a pair of bruised up converse.Khols sells converse for $30.
Love this place is so cheap on there clothing and another household stuff
Somethings are priced to high for being used for a few pennies more you can buy it new at Wal Mart
Love this store great prices on second hand items books are a little higher prices than those u find at goodwill but overall a great place to wander around and see what treasures may be within
Just got me some awesome pants and saved 20%
Has a very good assortment of items. Many items are overpriced for being chipped and missing pieces. Especially prevalent with household goods and toys.
They have a great selection of clothes, they have a great selection of shoes, purses, household items, they have everything! I highly recommend Savers.
Savers has a wide variety of inventory to offer however, some of their inexpensive items are overpriced. I do appreciate getting discounts on Tuesdays for senior day and discounts through email.
Rather shop there than goodwill better deals
They always have name brand clothes in great condition for great prices. Highly recommend shopping and donating here!
Crowded now with more folks not wearing masks even though the store nominally requires so.
I always enjoy going here. The service is great and friendly and so much to look at.
Many good items in the store but many items are overpriced for what they are there was a cheese grater there they had it marked $1.99 I could have walked down the street and got it for a dollar at the Dollar tree
I love going to Savers great prices and great customer service
Reasonable expectations were met at this thrift store. I found what I was looking for pretty fast considering the selection that is available. There is a large selection. Everything from new in package to gently worn . Prices are fair on most items. No lines at checkout and service is friendly.Have fun shopping, everything from toys to clothes to kitchen ware and more.
Prices keep going up and up. I use to love this store but the prices are really getting ridiculous. And now I understand theyre not doing the 30% off coupons for donations anymore. Savers is really going down.
I bought a glass cake stand sit it down in the back of my car. Nothing around it. When I got home the stand had separated from the plate. It was a clean break like it had been glued.
Nice little spot. Very cheap and they have a great variety of products.
This is my favorite thrift store. When Im in town from Oklahoma City, I HAVE to schedule a trip in there.
Clothing & shoes are overpriced at savers compared to other thrift stores at fort smith, rogers& Fayetteville clothes and and shoes are so expensive.I have found sometimes brand new shoes at Ross or tjMax cheaper than used shoes&clothes at savers.Other than this store has very good prices its clean and friendly staff.
The only thing wrong that I can see of Savers is that they check online for the same or similar items that come to the store for FREE, hence DONATIONS, and price things up according to ebay prices.
Love the good deals at this place.staff is friendly and helpful.
Found lots of great books, and even some stuff for my daughter.
I take my consumer there. She is 86 and Savers is her favorite store she been said because she hasnt been able to go but I took her today on Sunday and its was good not very many people so instead of Tuesday we will be coming on Sunday she is so happy she got to go today.
Found all the items I needed with the stop at Savers!! Excellent value for them!
Nice place. Clean, cool, good variety of stuff, friendly folks too.
Much cleaner and neater than it used to be
Love this place it has a great selection of clothing as well as accessories and household products
Prices aay too high for used products. Nice management up front. Need to get prices under control.
Busy place on Saturdays..but..checkout was quick..
Such great deals on clothing.
You can occasionally find good deals here and there; however, the prices have increased tremendously since they first opened. Even with their now and again sales, the prices can still be higher on some goods than if you were to buy them new. Since the items are donated to them for free, I cant see why they are pricing some things so high.Edit: They are now charging for each bag. This is not a bag tax, as some cities (like Chicago) have imposed. This is something they have created themselves. I have removed a star. It seems like Savers just cannot get their act together.Edit 2: finally starting to price stuff more accurately! Im adding a star back.
Full of fun things. Almost always something new when we go by. Nice staff. Dont expect anyone to go out of their way to price anything, though. Thats my only complaint.
Went looking for scrubs found a huge selection
Friendly, helpful associates and always a great selection!
I usually have a great time here but recently the workers they have hired have been extremely rude. Shoving past while youre shopping seems to be common. Highly disappointed.
A great place to find gently worn and new clothing at bargain prices. And their 50% off sales are the best!
Glad to see donations are down people dont wanna donate to a place that prosecutes to the fullest extent of the law someone who takes a table or something youve sent to the landfill. Look closely at items before you buy. they have no problem selling something infested with bugs
