My boyfriend had purchased a promise ring for me a year ago and the ring broke within 7 months of us having it. We took the ring back because we bought warranty and they sent it off, when they called us back to pick it up, they put the wrong headstone on it. So they sent it off again, and it came back wrong again. So they sent it off again and after 3 months they contact us and tell us they do not make this ring anymore. We asked for our money back and they said that can’t happen. Very disappointed in the way they handled things and the way we were talked too. I asked to talk to someone higher up than the people working at Kay’s in the mall and Kathy said “ our district manager is not going to talk to you” and “ no I am not going to give you the number to contact him” She was very rude! Will not be there again…
Have a Very nice variety selection of jewelry to choose from, whether it be your standard ring bans; or the entire array of jewelry looked beautiful! Definitely recommend this Kays location if youre looking for a great store with very kind and as of service to you as a customer upon being greeted by every Sales Representative! I showed up 10 minutes to close, and didnt get a chance to take a nice walk around. The staff were very polite and kind and were willing to go above and beyond! Out of the few Kays stores Ive ever shopped in, I definitely give this Kays Jewelry Store at Central Station mall a 10 out of 10!
Very rude and not helpful at all but luckily zales is right across the lobby and thay are extremely nice and helpful so I spent my money there.
I came in a few days ago to shop for promise rings for my girlfriend and I. Kathy was very rude. A few times while we were looking at rings she made some snide remarks. I liked the look of a particular ring for myself and she said “it makes sense you would like that ring seeing as you’re brave enough to wear a floral shirt”. It’s very disrespectful to insult your potential customer especially considering the customer is what keeps the business running. This was my first experience here and I have zero interest in shopping here ever again, especially if Kathy helps me. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence and no one else has to deal with this kind of disrespect.
First person I got was rude and and if I hadnt checked my receipt as I was leaving I would have never gotten my ring back. My daughter bought me a ring for mothers day and she was told all I had to do was bring it and and they would size it to fit. First thing the woman wanted to know was did I have warranty after I had just told her what my daughter was told. Then Im holding the brand new ring in my fingers with my old ring on my thumb waiting for the sizing guides when she asks, are you sure its one of ours? Then said she thought the one on my thumb was the one I wanted resized, when you could clearly see a brand new, sparkly ring held in the same hand. But most shockingly was that the whole ticket was wrote up wrong under someone elses name and not even for a ring but a pair of garnet earrings. And for a customer in another state even!! I may not have ever gotten my ring back as there would have been no proof they had it!! And I wont even get into what she chose to wear to work, apparently some think that is ok, but for a jewelry store I thought it was tacky. The gentleman in the suit had the right idea, at the very least slacks and a blouse, stretchy pants have no place in the work place!!!
I have been going to kays for many years and i take my jewelry in every 6 month to get inspected they always check my stone and clean them until i went in March 2021and Greg Hatcher looked up all my jewelry in the system and NEVER looked at the stones and told me that being they are in the ring boxes that i must not wear them they didnt need to be checked or cleaned I told him they always check them he didnt even want to check the ones i wear daily i was very upset about the Service that i will never come back into the store when he is there. Jennifer Millsap is the BEST SALE person there she will always have my business she is always very helpful and doesnt rush you just to make a sale I highly recommend her for your sales person
Online says they open at 12 on Sunday but they do not open until 12:30 when I called the store after standing outside like an idiot for 20 minutes waiting on the to open... if their google hours of operation were correct would have received a better score but since it’s misleading and wasted 45 minutes of the time... I’ll score this store a 1 star...
Fabulous service and very knowledgeable staff. Jennifer didnt even blink when, out of the blue I walked in, and let her know I had many pcs of jewelry to be cleaned and semi annual service performed. Jennifer was able to transfer all needed information from out of state to this new location. Great experience here.
Place was nice an clean..and the girl Alicia was sooo great!!!!!...helped me out alot!!!!:):)..so heres what I bought..and planing on buying :)
If i could rate 0 i would. Terrible customer service. I went in to get a diamon tested and to get a price on resizing. I was told our diamond tester is down go over to zales. I went to zales and they LOOKED at the diamond and told me its real.
They were very polite and courteous.
Love these candles and scents
Not a good selection...went to Zales
In May 2019 I got a necklace & earring set matching ring and bolo Mom bracelet for Mothers day. My ring had to be resized which we got the warranty for and they resized it and the ring looks great. In September I had broke my bracelet when it got caught on a table and my necklace broke as I was turning the chain. I took them both in to be fixed in late October and luckily they fell under the 6 month warranty. They were back after a week and I went to pick them up. The chain on my necklace wasnt fixed due to too many week links in chain. Not sure why a brand new 4 month old chain has so many week links? The lady found another chain and gladly replaced mine. As for my bracelet it looks horrible they simply soldered 4 links together. They didnt straighten it out or realign the bracelet to make it straight. So now my beautiful bracket has a noticeable soldering blob. While the jewelry is nice and affordable it is very cheaply made and the repairs are sloppy. I dont plan on purchasing from them again. The staff @ store in Fort Smith have always been courteous and helpful the problem I have is strictly with the repair department and jewelry.
My fiancé went to this store to get my engagement ring and it is BEAUTIFUL. I went in yesterday to drop it off and get it sized. The employees asked me how my fiancé proposed to me, and one of the female employees cried, and a male employee said “this is why we do this job.” So sweet. The staff are so genuine and nice, you can tell they really care about making their customers happy!!! Thank you Kay’s.
I have bought multi things from Kays Stores and the Rogers Arkansas and Tulsa Store was WONDERFUL, polite, and respectful. However, since Ive moved down further south Ive been having to go to the Fort Smith Arkansas Kays in the mall. And I have to say Everytime that Ive gone there, they have been rude, disrespectful and not friendly at all. After the experience Ive had there I am said to say I will not shop there or even suggest anyone go there. I love my rings etc. but not worth my time.
Well for all the bad reviews I must say my experience was great. Trish was awesome she was really helpful. Both my wife and I upgraded our rings and they gave her full purchase value of the ring I got her a while back in Arizona and they were running a 25% off promotion so needless to say I feel I got a great deal. So far so good I pick the rings up the 19th so hopefully all goes well.
I wish there was a negative star option. My Son bought his wif her engagement ring and wedding band along with his wedding band here. HUGE disaster she needed it dipped as she was having a reaction to the gold. They got it back it looked like it had been rolled in cornmeal and deep fried. Then they treated the kids like they were scum. Shouldve known that marriage was headed for disaster from the get go. My fiance recently bought me a ring and a charm bracelet from there. Ring has been fixed twice its tarnished as well as the bracelet Ive worn once. Crabby salespeople deluxe!! I will never buy another thing there.
I was able to get her exactly what she wanted so she was happy and that makes me happy :)
Good, friendly service. Large selection of beautiful jewelry.
Arrogant and rude employees. Nice durning the actually purchasing process, but completely fake attitudes. If you want someone who actually cares about a special experience, then I suggest you go somewhere else.
Dealing with this store has been the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had to experience in my life. I brought in a ring and asked a duplicate to be made and was told it would take 6-8 weeks. 5 months later, weeks worth of being lied to, promises being made that werent kept, and my original ring being damage, and a final product I wasnt happy with. I wish I would of read these reviews before I had went here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR JEWELERY NEEDS.
Your store Manager Brian Steller is very rudeI called trying to get something fixed. Explained i had been in there twice and called needing to get the credit insurance off i did not order. Store told me call credit people. Credit people told me go to store. Brian talked over me, explained the insurance like I was stupid. And stated all he can do is call the credit people for me, and thats going out of his way, and kindness of his heart. Its not like i went out of my way or anything, 2 trips to the store. Hour on the phone. If its not fixed and i dont receive an apology you can have your ring back. I dont deserve to be treated this way or need or want the hassle over $5.27
I am not happy with my experience here at all. I wanted a simple 200 dollar mothers day ring I saw advertised online. They were unable to get it in my ring size so it was suggested to me both over the phone and in person that I have them custom make it. They assured me it would be no problem but because of the custom making it would cost more, I was okay with that. Not only did the actual process take much longer than told I ordered April 16 2015 and after being dicked around and lied to several times about how long it would be and why it wasnt there when they told me it would be I finally got it on June 23rd. When I picked it up I couldnt believe my eyes the engraving they did was the worst Ive ever seen, Ive purchased rings on ebay that look better than this, other than having the correct setting and the right colored stones it looked nothing like the picture I showed them I basically am paying 640 dollars for a ring that looks way worse than the 200 dollar one they just couldnt seem to make in my size. I dont usually leave negative reviews but I just want people to know if you dont walk in there looking like you have alot of money they may not bother to take the time to tell you the truth, I wish they would have just flat out told me that they could NOT make the ring I wanted and I could have taken my business to Zales because at least there they offer ring sizes online for bigger women.
For those of you out there reading these outdated reviews, this store is under new management and everything is running smoothly.
I did not like their attitude.
The management is wonderful.
A 22.5 gram silver necklace for 223i wanted big now its expired the shelf life is weak
I called about a ring they had advertised before I made the 45 minute drive got here and no rings available. Same thing happened advertised not Christmas
NEVER buy a personalized ring from this place! Girlfriend lost a stone out of the ring I purchased, sent it in for an estimate and the repair ended up costing $100 more than what I paid for the ring. Needless to say I didnt pay for the repair and instead took it to a jeweler I know.
No good
