I have ordered 4 of the Mimi racerback bras from their website, they are comfy and offer great support. I have never had a problem until recently. I ordered 2 new ones on 12/30/19 and received them on 1/7/20. One of them has just broken where the fabric completely tore in 2 places. I was wearing the right size and the one that broke has only been worn a maximum of 30 times and washed a maximum of 10 times. It should not have broken. The ones Ive worn longer and been washed more have shown no signs of breaking and are in excellent condition. I reached out to motherhood asking them replace the broken bra. They responded with:Thank you for contacting us! This order was placed 12/30/20 and was delivered 01/07/20. We do have a 30 day return policy in which we can extend to 60 for defective items. We would have had to received the order by 03/07/20. We are unable to accept the return I understand they have a return policy but if an item is obviously defective I would hope they would stand by their products and fix the issue. This happened just 30 days after their return policy expired. I would expect an item like this to last more than 30 uses. I am very disappointed that they will not fix the problem and I am planning on taking my business elsewhere in the future.
Had no problems with purchased from the store. The online customer service is non existent. I ordered a coat for my daughter and they sent it without the belt. I reached out and attempted to get the missing belt, but was told it wasn’t possible to get missing belt.Another time I purchased several items for my daughter’s birthday. I saved the receipts and gave it to her and she returned the items with the receipts but did not allow her to exchange items or give her refund. They said the could not do anything without the order number. She gave them order number and they still failed to return $. Avoid buying from this company they will not honor transactions and will cheat you out of items and $.
This brand has gone steeply downhill since they’ve closed their brick and mortar stores. I sent some things back that were the wrong size over a month ago and am still struggling to get refunded on it. Their customer service is a complete joke, they are incompetent and can’t do anything. They told me a digital gift card was sent to me 3 weeks ago (it wasn’t), then told me one would be sent to me last Friday, it’s been almost a week and I still haven’t received the gift card for credit for the store. I was told when I called today that I should receive it in a few hours and it is now midnight and guess what? I still haven’t received it. I don’t even want store credit anymore because I no longer want to purchase anything from this store ever again. If they still had physical stores it might be a different story because at least then I could talk to a real person, in person, and get my return processed immediately instead of probably never.
Whether you are expecting a baby or had just had one this shop is for you....from undergarments to outerwear...the ladies here will fit you to your most comfortable...you will feel and look better for it! And there are cute socks too!
I am a first time mom and a very bad/overly sensitive shopper - I despise dressing rooms lol - the sales woman was WONDERFUL!! She was sensitive to my nervousness and had me laughing in no time! Thank you so much for making my first maternity experience so lovely 😊
