Excellent prices, and wonderful service. Store is easy to navigate, the layout flows well, and the aisles are spacious. Produce, deli, and meat stations are very nice as well. Great selection of items, especially different ethnic foods. Wonderful experience from start to finish.

The store is alway cleaned and stock no problem there, but the cashiers and self checkout assistant are very rude. I am never rude with them and very polite so not sure if there problem

Clean, great prices but lacks a wide range of products and availability of products. Many empty shelves at times. Also I dont like how there is no enforcement of mask mandates. There are young children below the age of 12 who are clearly not vaccinated and are allowed in the store with no masks, no excuse for that.

I shop at the Commissary because it has the cheapest and best meat products and a larger variety of cheeses, so I go there first. I like the Neighborhood Markets because they always have better fruits than the Commissary or Super Center. Commissary checkout is not an issue for the most part, they have enough registers open so your not stuck waiting to checkout with TWD that dont wear masks. The store is clean to include the restrooms, like before the pandemic standards. I have always been greeted coming in, in the isles, at the registers, and going out. I have always been helped when I ask even from fellow customers. Baggers have always done a good job loading the groceries into the bags. Baggers load the groceries in the bag you want and then into the vehicle. Returns and pickup of items ordered are generally simple. I do wish the mask wearing and sanitation would be enforced at the entrance. I look at those who dont wash their hands or that complain about the mask wearing as candidates for natural selection. Thin out the herd so there is better parking spots and faster checkout. Commissary 1st, Walmart 2nd, Farmers Market 3rd, Kroger 4th if I have to, and then the other stores in that order and you will save the most money.

Constantly has empty shelves, no chicken, no milk, butter etc… terrible customer service.

I love being able to shoot the commissary it saves me a ton of money and they have the best product selection for example the deli has board Head meats and cheeses.

Great place to shop, employees very courteous and professional. Hope to see it upgraded soon love shopping at Ft. Stewart Commissary.

Love shopping here EXCEPT for produce and fresh vegetables!! The produce is expensive compared to other stores, I have on MULTIPLE occasions picked up things with mold and once even the fruit flies ... it drives me crazy! But other than that I love shopping here.

I have shopped here for the last 35 years, so I may have a bias rating. I really look forward to shopping at this Commissary. Feels like home because I am aware of the outstanding customer service that the employees provide. Great people like Cricket and Harlem in the meat department, Marylin in Produce and 90% of the cashiers make shopping here an absolute pleasure.

I ordered Italian panini and wanted to add mayo the lady at the deli said NO they come as is i could call my manager. Bruh you cant add Mayo to my sandwich? For reals ? Smh

Took advantage of the sidewalk sale this weekend. Always have a great experience shopping at the commissary. The staff from all departments are eager to help especially when it involves ordering products the store dont stock. The meat department has provided me with special cuts of meats. The deli is always friendly and will offer a taste of a product to help with a purchase decision. Enjoy the mature baggers who take the extra step to insure items are bagged properly and not damaged. Great place to shop. Top rating for this location.

Definitely have been to better (and bigger) commissaries, however having one is better than none. It was clean and the employees were attentive. Still cant beat the prices of some things compared to those off base.

Fort Stewart produce section is the WORST I have ever seen. My husband and I go daily to try and get as fresh as we can . Never do we walk away happy . Today will be the last time I buy any fresh fruit or veggies from commissary. It’s basically having to look over all the rooten stuff and hope it taste good .

Wide selection of items and if you dont see what you want they will get it for you. Case in point, I wanted some rib tips to grill for Labor Day weekend. I didnt see any so I picked out a rack of ribs and the meat department cut it the thickness I wanted. Awesome service indeed!

This is the WORST commissary!!!! Why cant you inform the shoppers about changes prior to shopping? I swear this the Worst commissary. Military members always plan, coordinate and execute. NO CONFUSION ....... mission accomplished!!

So very disappointed in the deli today and my sandwhich. It has been a bit since Ive gotten a sandwhich from this particular commissary deli, but I was informed that I couldnt get my sub toasted because it wasnt a panini... they lacked all of the normal condiments, and made a big deal about adding meat to a sandwhich as all sandwiches are premade in regards to the meat. I will not be going back.

Nice place to shop for meat.Some say they like that there isnt any taxes. This is and isnt true. There may not be a sales tax but there is a surcharge, this surcharge goes back into the base community...... like a local tax does. 😏.Yes, there are many items you can get at a much lower cost than off post and some things are equal. There are things are actually worth the trouble of driving to post.... some stuff, if you shop well, can be found at the same price or cheaper at off post stores.Oh yeah, if you dont have post privileges.... this store is not for you. You will have to present a military identification before they will allow you to check out.

The system always doesnt work properly. Why to offer customers commissary rewards if you cant use them at the register. Very disappointed!!!

The Commissary is having a HUGE Back to School Sidewalk Sale right now! They did a great job in keeping things organized and stocked for shoppers. Also, they were very efficient in controlling the checkout process.

This is definitely one of the better commissaries in the army. It is large it has a sushi bar that they will make sushi to order. It has a large produce section and plenty of lines for check out. The PX is also located directly adjacent from the commissary.

Very frustrating to get to the store and find out tha the system is down and I have to get cash to pay for groceries. It is the third occasion that this situation repeats. Very unreliable service. When I asked for an estimate time on when the service would be reestablished, I got the reply you can get cash or a check if you need your groceries Thank you, really hope this store could offer a better service in a near future.My previous review was about a different issue, today I tried the self check out. There were three empty machines, the newly installed machines. Now I cant use them because I had over twenty items. The old machines allowed 40 items, very frustrating. I had to drop 6 items (I always do self checkout).Money invested on these machines created a problem (from 40 down to 20 items). We, the Soldiers get better service at Walmart. Uncomfortable true.Wishing the management could fix it.

Flew in from Michigan on 16 October 2018 to visit my son and daughter-in-law and new granddaughter. Went to buy a few groceries and the commisary was very clean and well stocked, even with the recent hurricane that went through, there was not much missing from the shelves. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The Commissary on Ft Stewart is small compared to several other military installations, but it still has a good variety of items, especially those of Hispanic, Asian, and German specific. The hours of operation take some getting use to, but other than that, its a decent place.

Great prices and very friendly people. Except one lady working in the deli. Beware if she is working. She makes you feel like you are a bother when placing your order.

The Ft Stewart commissary remains a disappointment. Similar sized posts have much more modern facilities. Stockage is generally poor in my opinion. What they have is generally good quality but supplies are limited. Its a shame this commissary is not on par with posts like Ft Campbell or Ft Carson. Both are similar sized posts with much better commissaries.

The comissary has everything you might need to cook international meals and serves a highly diverse population. Wonderful selection of fruit, vegetables, and meat. Even has sushi.

The employees. Are awful. Fruit is old. The tipping is stupid. When I do tip they look ungratefulIll never tip them again. I dont even talk to them anymore. I do my own check out. Duck that

As with other stores, there is room for improvement. Best prices on meats in town. Some prices on some other items are lower off post. No issues with employees. They are always helpful and courteous.

Definatly a great quick place. Some of the employees are quick to rush you when they are rushed. Thats the business though. Highly recommended

I have been shopping weekly at the commissary for 30 years. Rarely had a problem. But lately since some corporate changes it has become a night mare. The shelves are empty, merchandise is missing for weeks, meal planning is impossible. Dont get me wrong personnel and cashiers are awesome as ever.I dont have the energy no more to run around town to get my stuff. I really miss my old commissary.

Bathrooms could use some thorough cleaning and the fruits dont last very long.

Tr3 store, just keep that in mind. Kroger is a tier 1 Walmart is tier 2, the defense commissary is tier 3. Which means they get last pic of everything but the same price. These Jokers will keep items on the shelf even after they have expired. Told him multiple times and they still try to sell them. You will find some deals but please check the items before purchasing. and you get the sense of your about to steal something at checkout.

The meat department is great. Produce, not so great. Many new items are not found at the store but are found down town. The cashiers are very rude and obnoxious to the customers and even to their fellow employees while Custers are in view. I honestly think that the entire management needs to be replaced. Too much cronissm and favoritism with certain employees while others get the shaft.

The price of their meats seems to get higher with each visit but their selection is great and always fresh. Also, it would be decent if they could keep all their coffee and filters together on the same isle.

Everything went very well there was only one item they stopped carrying that we always purchased. That is adult wipes.There was a bagger that was great .

Customer service could be better, when it comes to serving customers with invisible disabilities. Have had some terrible cashiers who have made our family feel uncomfortable on the spot.

This place is not good no more it was years ago. Now most of the workers unfriendly not helpful and the look bothered if you ask them something . I helpt a very sick women this morning ring her stuff up on the self checkout. 3 workers staying there and did not help this women than I stept in. The rather was staying there and run there mouths. Other customers was upsad about this also.

Prices are better on some things. But the produce there is put in the cooler for days, then set out for sale. Basicly the fruits and veg do go bad faster. Also all the chicken is frozen. So after it is frozen.. The thaws out in the cooler and then we take it home and frezze it again. :-/

So Ive been shopping in the commissary ever since I got my CAC for post. I go in to shop and I go to the Express line to check out. I was greeted with discuss as I handed my ID to the cashier and was told that I had to have a military ID to shop there. This was the worst experience I have had since I have been coming there.
