Do not waste your time with this place. People are not friendly and you’re treated like an inconvenience. I wasn’t even greeted with a hello when I walked in. I spent a total of 7 mins in the store which was plenty. Do not waste your time here. Go to Margaret Ellen Bridal for a much more pleasant experience.

I had such an awful experience shopping for my wedding dress. My sister-in-law and I were treated with such disrespect since the minute I told the sale associate that my budget was only $800. She was rude every chance she got and made me feel like I wasn’t worth her time. I was willing to pay more if I found the perfect dress but she had no desire to help. Instead, I felt like an inconvenience. Disgusted.

My mom and I came in the other day to look at formal dresses for my senior celebration. Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful store, but my mom and I were only greeted by a simple hasty “hi, ” like we were interrupting someones conversation. AND THE WORKERS CONTINUED THEIR CONVERSATION AND IGNORED US. Also to mention, not a mask in sight. Again, my mom and I were the only ones wearing one. My mom and I walked around for about 10 minutes and we were looked at but not helped. We just kept getting glanced at. When we left the store after being fed up with no help, we didnt even get a good bye. Not worth your time.

Omg had an amazing experience here!! Came here with my family and one of my close friends to try on dresses, with not a lot of expectations considering my wedding isn’t until next fall. Dana was SO friendly and accommodating and dealt with my family’s persistent requests. We ended up being there around 4 hrs which is crazy because they typically only do 2 hr appt. they could have easily kicked us out but they didn’t!! Thank you guys so much and I’m so excited to come back to pick up my dress ☺️

I decided to check this place out before going to David’s Bridal and I’m so glad that I did.Lauren helped me and she was so great. I told her what I was looking for and I loved every dress that she pulled for me. I found my perfect dress during my first visit.So glad that I could support a local business.

What a terribly awful experience from the moment we arrived. We were shuffled into a crowded corner, where we sat and waited until this woman in bare feet hastily pointed us towards a starting point. She didnt introduce herself or tell us what to expect from the bridal consultation - she was messy, rude, and unprofessional. As the inventory here seemed to be quite different than what we were seeking, the consultant became increasingly argumentative and defensive. She shrugged us off and recommended that we go to any other bridal shop in the area. Little did she know, we had already had a stellar, 5-star experience at Davids Bridal this morning with the best, most professional consultant and dozens of lovely dresses. This was not the custom boutique bridal experience we were seeking but we are so very glad to take our business elsewhere!

I had such an amazing experience here and the people here were so friendly. My family and I came with a budget of $1500 for a wedding dress and found mine for just a little over $1000. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant and they close down the shop just to cater for you in your appointment. We paid the extra money to have the champagne and hors doeuvres intermission, which was even more nice cause it gave us all a break so my consultant could find more dresses and we could relax. My consultant was Cecilia and she was so awesome for us. She asked me questions as far as what ideas I had for a dress, what I liked and what I didnt like. She picked out several dresses, most of which to match my idea of what I liked, but also some that I thought I wouldnt like just so I would know for sure whether or not they looked good on me. I ended up getting a beautiful gown that I never thought I would even go for, but as soon as I tried it on i was in love. Cecilia did it perfectly. I couldnt have dreamed up a better experience if I tried. Definitely have and will be recommending this place to as many people as possible!

After searching far and wide for my unique wedding gown, Simply Elegant jumped to the challenge. Finding bridal separates, especially when you want something specific, can be a struggle. I shopped from Atlanta, Birmingham, and Pensacola, and who knew that the perfect bridal shop would be just an hour down the street. I first called the shop to speak to one of the ladies and she immediately started sending me photos. I made an appointment and the first skirt that they brought out was the one. I could not believe that the one that they found was almost exactly what I was looking for! Thank you Simply Elegant!

I had been stressing about dresses because of my size. I walked in and it was never an issue. I felt like a beautiful bride and that’s the best feeling. I loved their great selection for all sizes which was so important to me! We never felt rushed and received so much helpful advice from our stylist!

Lauren was very kind and extremely helpful! I scheduled my appointment at 12:30 it was verified for later that afternoon at 2. I was in and out in 15 min. Of course I was just grabbing a bridesmaid dress but I just generally speaking knew what I needed and after description she gave me 3-4 dresses and the first one was a perfect match! Wouldnt even give this place a one star but had to.Rude very unprofessional..came into town to get a dress. was talked into getting the floor model after finally getting it the beading was messed up. He sent me a lil bag of beads. To fix it, I couldnt find anyone to fix it seeing it was so hard to do I called he then told me to send it back and he would order a new one. after 5 months my mom bought me a new one at Davids (yes better customer service and treated me like I was human and not just a dollar) ... We had to because my wedding was approaching. And now he /they are treating like Im the bad one and all of a sudden they now have my dress...So my suggestion is if you are out of town DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They may treat brides in Florida well but out of state brides just walk away and spend your 1000.00 at Davids where they actually care and try to help..

I truly do not know where to begin. Simply Elegant Bridal is by far the best bridal boutique I have ever been to. I paid for the private champagne appointment and went with my mom, my aunt and 3 bridesmaids. Not only were we given champagne, but we were surprised with a bottle of wine and delicious hors doeuvres.Sarah Beth was hands down the best consultant. She had a mirror outside with my name written on it, a beautiful display of hors doeuvres and an awesome photo op for champagne popping photos (hello pinterest!!)I tried on SO MANY DRESSES!!! Their inventory is INCREDIBLE! Sarah Beth gave that warm, family feeling right off the bat. I felt extremely comfortable the entire time. She gave honest opinions instead of that used car salesman tactic that I dread. I truly felt I could trust her advice. I was soooooo indecisive and probably her worst client ever because I couldnt make up my mind, but she was happy to have me try on the same gowns multiple times to help with my decision. She buttoned every button, got on her hands and knees to fluff the dress for photos, and ensured every detail was perfect every time so I could truly see what the dress would look like on my wedding day. She even had me try on a veil, necklace & flowers so I could envision the final look and had me sit down to make sure the dress was still comfortable.Sarah Beth could even sense I was a little overwhelmed with deciding on a dress, so she had a heart to heart with me privately and told me to take the time to think about it rather than use that to her advantage to get the sale. Which I could not have appreciated more!In total I went to 6 bridal boutiques and Simply Elegant was hands down the BEST! If you are making an appointment, I definitely recommend asking if you could have Sarah Beth as your consultant.I could not stress this enough, give Simply Elegant Bridal a try and save the time youd waste at other shops! You will not regret it!

Very rude and unprofessional

Bob went over and beyond to make my daughters senior prom absolutely perfect! We ordered a dress in the color my daughter wanted despite me saying how beautiful she would look in the blue. Lo and behold, she did an instagram poll that said she should have gone with blue. Went the next morning to try and change the color. Bob went ahead and placed the order for us. Fast forward a couple of days and the dress comes in...the aqua we ordered was actually a green color. Bob checked Sherri Hills inventory-nope, not available. We went home and later that night -definitely not store hours-Bob was in constant contact with us. He was patient, kind and understanding. Bottom line, my daughter ended up with the perfect dress! I bought my wedding dress here almost 30 years ago...hope my daughters will get to do the same one day! Love this place!

Trish is AMAZING! I can’t say enough....I get married next Saturday, I had to send my dress back to alterations twice for the same thing, FINALLY Trish was helping me the third time I went in (yesterday), she understood what needed to be done and personally took me to the seamstress that day to have it done. Now my dress is PERFECT. AND she even offered to come to my wedding to bustle my dress for me because none of my bridesmaids could come to the fitting to see how it’s done. ABOVE AND BEYOND! I am finally getting around to write my review! This lovely shop was the first place I looked for a wedding gown. I had zero intentions of finding the one since it was the first place I looked. Kristen was amazing from the minute my future mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I walked in! The shop is definitely small but they have such amazing dresses! Kristen was EXTREMELY patient during the whole appointment and she quickly figured out the type of dress I was looking for! Needless to say she found two PERFECT dresses for me! She helped me talk through all the things I liked about each dress and helped me make my decision, and I actually ended up purchasing my dress! I really couldnt believe I found my dress and everyone at Simply Elegant was just amazing to work with! I cant wait to go back and pick up my dress!! After having a pleasant experience with Simply Elegant a couple years ago for my oldest daughter that was getting married it was only natural to want to shop there again when my youngest daughter got engaged last winter. We were extremely pleased the second time around with the staff and selection of dresses. The staff worked diligently to find the perfect wedding dress for my daughter. Then assisted in ordering all of the bridesmaids dresses. When all the dresses arrived Bob offered to drive to meet me half way to Panama City to expedite me receiving them. I greatly appreciated his kind offer and also took him up on it. I highly recommend Simply Elegant for your bridal dresses.

I had a wonderful AMAZING appointment at this bridal shop. It was actually the first place I stopped and I fell in love with a dress. I am a bride on a (small) budget and they never made me feel as if it would be impossible to get a beautiful dress. I ended up calling and paying for one of the dresses I first tried on. The girl that picked up was quite rude. It was close to closing time so I understand the exasperation but I still felt like she could have been a bit nicer.

Simply Elegant Bridal is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I only ordered a single bridesmaid dress through them, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! When I had some issues receiving the dress from the vendor, they worked hard to track down an alternative and stood by my purchase completely! I could not have had a better experience! Responding to rating that was posted back a few months ago. Went into this shop with my cousin about 9 months ago to pick up her bridal gown. I suggested that she go to this location since the rest of her family lives closer to the area rather than having them travel back and forth to Atlanta. She ordered her gown around November 2017. I was listed as a point of contact for her dress and was contacted many times by the company concerning updates on her gown. We were given several dates for the gown to arrive. The arrival dates were pushed back month after month. No one knew what was going on with the dress or could give us a solid month as to when the dress would arrive. My cousin was very worried because she live in Atlanta and knowing that her dress had to have alterations to be fitted and refitted for the dress. They finally located the dress 3 months after the original arrival date and after phone calls after phone calls. My cousin did finally get her dress from the shop after the alterations and steaming. Her wedding was beautiful and she looked amazing!!! This is a great place to purchase dresses that are hard to find anywhere else, but I would suggest that this shop be a little more organize and punctual when it come to clients orders.This is how your store came into contact with me last year (2018) and the year before (2017)!! Glad that you were able to look me up for a recall, but the recollections of my visit and review is for a different time.

Ordered a bridesmaid dress there and it was painless so I thought I would give them a try when it was my turn to walk down the aisle. I called ahead and told them that I was getting married at the JP so I just needed a nice dress. Could be white or colored, long or short, a wedding dress or a prom dress. Really didnt even have a price limit if I found something I liked. They asked me when I would like to make an appointment and I suggested a time which they said would be fine. No mention of squeezing me in or anything. I arrived 10 min early and was told by the gentleman at the front that the lady I was meeting with was still with her previous appointment but I had an hour allotted so I would have plenty of time. No problem! He said he would start me off with a few dresses. He began frantically raking through the racks but it soon became apparent that there was only a 2 foot section of dresses that he thought would work for me. He pulled three dresses, showed me to a dressing room and disappeared. Meanwhile in the same space, the lady I assume was the one whom my appointment was with, was fawning over a middle aged lady who was fawning over herself in a fluffy wedding dress. After struggling to put the heavy dresses on myself and none of them working, I wandered out to the front where he was working at the front desk again. I browsed the rest of the store as best as I could by myself and left 45 min after my appointment was supposed to start. Never got a word from the lady my appointment was with. Never even got a goodbye, just walked out. I would have been happy if someone had just said that the appointment was running late and they would have to reschedule me. Seemed like the consultant felt like she could make a sale with the first lady and may not with me. Very frustrating. Guess my money want good enough for them. Went somewhere else and bought a dress.

TERRIBLE experience!!!!! I bought my wedding dress from the Pensacola store and had a great experience the day I bought it. It came into the Ft Walton store and was to SHORT!! I Stressed the the girl when I bought it that I wanted it touching the floor and she promised she would order the right length. Come to find out it only comes in ONE length... which I was told while I had it on after it was bought and paid for. While I was there trying it on NO ONE helped me. TWO girls were helping a girl trying on a red dress beside me and neither one even looked my way and I was struggling with the train. BAD, BAD, BAD experience and wouldnt recommend anyone to waste their time or money at this over priced store. I know there arent a lot of options in Ft Walton but its worth it to travel to another location.

First, I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience. I was in Destin over Thanksgiving, and it was one of the only times my whole family gets together. Luckily, Simply Elegant was nice enough to offer us an appointment on Friday when almost everywhere else was closed. Jenna was my Bridal Expert, and right off the bat I loved her vibe. She had just gotten married, so I felt like she knew exactly what I was feeling, so I was instantly comfortable. Although I knew more about what I didnt like than what I actually was looking for, Jenna took my explanations and the very first dress she pulled was the one I ended up buying! I tried on about 5 more before she recognized that I was comparing them all to the first dress. I put it back on and after settling in it, I cried because I knew that it was the one! Jenna was definitely super qualified and knew instantly what I was looking for (when I didnt even know!). She pulled the most amazing accessories for me, and I ended up getting 2 sashes, a veil and a jacket - all of her first or second pulls. I cannot express how grateful I am that Simply Elegant took us in on a holiday weekend - or how amazing Jenna was in reading me! 5 stars all around.

Great Customer Service! Booked our 2nd/3rd Sandals trip through Simply Elegant and am so glad we did. Bob and Debbie have an expert understanding of all the Sandals properties and can help you pick the perfect destination to meet your needs. They even take the time to provide you a planner with suggested activities that was an awesome resource we used several times for things to do after a long day on the beach. Our only regret was not preplanning our excursion through Bob and Debbie, they have a lot of experience with the various tours and adventures. My experience at Simply Elegant has been amazing! The consultant I had was just phenomenal. She was very helpful and was very good at helping me find my dream gown. She told me her name, but said, If you forget, just call me the teacher, so that is how I remember her. She completely devoted her time and attention to me and my wedding party.The facility is just gorgeous and all of the gowns are just amazing! I had no hassle at all with them. They kept me updated on when my gown would come in, when I needed to come in for fittings, etc. I live in Pensacola, which is about an hour away, and it is totally worth the drive! All of my bridesmaids, mother in law, and mother were very impressed with them! I would highly recommend Simply Elegant to every bride in the area! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them.

I had the best experience anyone could possibly have. My consultant was more than helpful, she was simply amazing! I had a wide variety of dresses pulled for me to try on. The attentiveness was more then I could have hoped for. Anything that I explained was pulled immediately for me. I truly felt like the star of the show. After finding the perfect dress, which just so happened to be the first one I tried on, there was a champagne celebration and pictures. Ordered a bridesmaid dress with an agreed upon size. When it arrived the dress was 8 sizes larger than what I ordered. The bride called to complain and they promised her a call back because almost all of the dresses were wrong. When they didnt call her I called, the male owner cut me off and was rushing me off the phone. It made me feel that they didnt care at all. He just kept saying they would call the bride back yet they didnt. The receipt even says the correct size, and you can see how someone scratched it out and wrote the new size. Very unprofessional.

I had an great experience at Simply Elegant Bridal. From the moment I walked in, everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Emily was my bridal consultant, and she was excellent! Emily really took the time to understand the styles of gowns I was interested in. Every time I tried on a dress, she asked what aspects I liked about the dress and what aspects I didnt necessary like. Having her ask those questions really stood out because it showed that she truly wanted to take the time to find the perfect dress for me. I would recommend Simply Elegant not only because of the beautiful dress selection, but also because of the positive environment that the employees create for their brides. If I had any advice for future brides going there, it would be to only bring one or two close friends/family with you (that way you can really choose the dress that YOU love), and to bring in pictures of dress styles you love or pin them to your Pinterest (they can pull it up on their computer). I cannot be more impressed or satisfied with the customer service I received. Bob, the owner, went above and beyond to special order the right dresses for me. He was patient and understanding when the first 2 werent perfect ordering in a third gown and arranging delivery to my home, outside the US. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this bridal shop.

I went to a handful of stores before deciding to go to Simply Elegant. The other places made me feel like i was just another number in their computer but Simply Elegant was great. Pretty sure i tried on 20 dresses in 2 separate fittings. But i finally found the one and i couldnt have done it without them.

I’ve tried on dresses here twice and I can’t believe anyone would work at this establishment or end up buying their dress here! Sadly it’s one of the only places in town so people have to put up with the terrible service and the owner who is an absolute witch. When I first went in looking for a wedding dress I showed the rep a dress I had tried on somewhere else and I told her my budget. She said that everything they had in that style was way over my budget and refused to show me. (Also, be prepared for you appointment to be extremely delayed because they always get held up with the bride before you). If you mention any type of budget or competitors dresses they have a way have making you feel low and unwelcome. I’ve never been treated so rudely before in any establishment. Terrible vibes and terrible service. Do yourself a favor and have your bridesmaids try on dresses elsewhere and just buy them on Azazie. Cheaper, easier and you won’t have to deal with the snobbery that’s coated all over this business!

Feeling ripped off. My wife isnt from this country and they took advantage of her. We asked how much the alterations for her dress would be and they said $150 to $200. When she got to the register they charged her $318. We added a sewn in bra but their price was still off by $100! We would have never gotten the dress altered there if we knew it would be that much. Either the lady who took her measurements in order to make the dress or the dress makers didnt do a good job and when the dress came there were several alterations needed. This shouldnt be an extra charge if they cannot do their job but it seems like they give you a dress that needs several alterations so they can make even more money on top of an overpriced dress. You would do much better by going to Pensacola for any large wedding purchases.

Did not know that you needed a appointment. Showed me a book to order from and didnt come back. Would of liked to try some dressed on. Another lady came back looking for a dress and she had help with getting the dresses to the fitting room. Got to the door and someone asked if I found anything. When tryed to talk to him he said they had 6 other customers. Guess my money is not good enough.

The Simply Elegant team helped me though multiple areas of my wedding. from my veil which Debbie helped me with and my consultant Kelsey, Being a bride from out of town (i live in California) and getting married in Destin I traveled on the plane with my dress and and knew that is was going to be wrinkled and need to be steamed out, and Kelsey made sure i was ready to go and looked flawless. i dropped it off around 4pm on a Wednesday and it was ready when they opened on Friday morning! i had no worries at all about my dress, knew it was in great hands.Also we booked of Sandals Honeymoon to Jamaica with Bob. he was always quick to answer all my questions over email or phone and even hand a great booklet for us that we ready on the plane on the way with tips and info for our trip. once i was there the front desk was having a hard time finding some of the credit we had because of our sandals gift registry (which i recommend) a quick call to Bob, and he was able to get in touch with management on property and cleared up everything making it so easy on us.Thank you Simply Elegant, Bob, Deb, and the rest of the staff!

I had my bridal appointment with Amanda a couple of weekends ago (July 20th). I decided to do the champagne appointment for me and my friends. From beginning to end Amanda made me feel so special. I went in thinking I did not want a strapless dress since I am top heavy. Amanda talked me into having an open mind and trying one on anyway. Well it was the second dress I tried on and I absolutely fell in love with it. If it werent for Amandas expert advice, I never would have given the dress a chance. I was so happy with the service that I am going back this Saturday with my bridesmaids to get their dresses. I would highly recommend Simply Elegant to anyone looking for a wedding or formal dress. My sister and I went into Simply Elegant thinking, okay this is going to be a long day mainly because I am very indecisive. We originally started out with 4 beautiful dresses and finally narrowed it down to my top two. With the help of Marlana, the young lady who works there and my sister I finally picked the DRESS. Marlana customer service and attitude was FANTASTIC. She was extremely patient,funny,and helped us with everything.

Went to Simply Elegant with my daughter to find a wedding gown. Worst experience. I couldnt place my finger on it, but had a very uneasy feeling about the person assisting us. However, my daughter found the gown she loved. She was so happy. But the secrecy and lack of information that seemed to be present when we asked for questions, was bothersome. So I did some research. The gown had been discontinued, and could not be gotten. They never made mention of that, they told us we would have to order by February/March to make sure we get it on time. After going to other very reputable bridal shops, we found out that they tell you when something is discontinued, and would have to the store gown, and at a reduced price. Needless to say, my daughter was heartbroken to have been lied to. In addition to all of the this, the other places included alternations, Simply Elegant does not. I would stay far away from Simply Elegant. Apparently, they do better with proms and not brides. Bridal Loft, here we come...

Loved it so much! I wasnt in the dresses, but my sister was! My mom cried when my sister walked out in the perfect dress. The workers were extremly helpful and understanding when she couldnt find the right dress!

Ok, I very rarely write reviews about things, but this was a must. I live in Panama City area and went to a couple of places and didnt see anything I liked on the shelves, or for that matter did anyone go out of their way to help me, even when they were just standing around. So, I made an appointment to Simply Elegant to just try on different dresses and see what kind of dress I would like. I made the appointment with the mind set of only looking. Well, that didnt last long, because Debbie was so extremely helpful and gave me over the top service that I found the EXACT dress I wanted and fell in love with it. I could not leave the store without it. As well as I could not have done that without her insistent help on finding the right dress that was me. From the time I made the appointment and had to call to tell them I was going to be a few minutes late because of traffic, to walking in the door and being greeted by a woman who was excited to have me in her store, through the whole experience of not knowing what to expect our of my bridal appointment, I never felt more confident about my decision because of her help. I HIGHLY recommend this place over any place in Panama City surrounding area. It may be a bit of a drive, but it is well worth finding your dream dress that is perfect for you.

You MUST have an appointment to look/try on bridal dresses. They are too exclusive to allow someone to just come in and even see what wedding dresses they have to offer. Extremely disappointing and distasteful to hear that walk-ins are so undesireble.

Ordered a dress and put half down, my wedding was canceled for personal reasons and i tried to get a refund and they said i either pay it before the wear date or lose the almost $600 Ive paid already! Absolutely crazy.

My experience at Simply Elegant was awesome! Emily and the entire staff was so helpful in making sure I got my dream wedding dress and in helping me pick out my bridesmaids dresses! She was extremely patient and answered all my endless questions haha! They even got my bridesmaids dresses in on time when I ordered them late along with extra fabric to make sashes! Being from out of town, I was referred by two others to Simply Elegant as THE place to go in the Destin/Ft. Walton area. Wow, they were right. I worked with Jenna and my mom and I just loved her! She was the perfect balance of professional, knowledgable, and tasteful about helping match my unique style.Wedding dress shopping can be stressful, but Simply Elegant had me smiling even from the initial phone call. I was married this past August. Simply Elegant was my first and last destination for my bridal gown and bridesmaides dresses! I worked with Emily for my entire experience and she was so nice and helpful with everything! Im still in love with my dress, the price, the quality and the time I had picking it out. My brides maides dresses were so beautiful too. Quality is a huge thing for me, I give them a 10 on this especially compared to ever so popular Davids Bridal. I had absolutely no problems. Lorna the seamstress did and amazing job. My mothers gown was also purchased here and was stunning. The service was great, every one was very warm, kind and inviting. Id love to do it all over again!

Okay my consultant Jessica was the best! When I walked in for my appointment come to find out they had marked me for February 2nd instead of March 2nd but, Jessica agreed to stay an hour later just to meet with me! I was a little nervous at first and wasnt sure what to expect. She was very helpful. She got to know me and my family and steered me in the right direction. I cant stop thinking about my dress! I absolutely love it! There were a lot of other brides in the store but, not once did I feel crowded or feel like I wasnt getting the attention I needed. Thank you!

First Ill say that I had an okay experience. When I first arrived at my appointment with my mother, we were greeted and taken to check bridal dresses. I wasnt sure what I was looking for, since it was my first time ever being at a bridal store, plus I havent been looking at wedding dresses. All I knew is that I wanted lace. The associate kept bringing dresses that werent my style and I was almost losing all my hopes to find my dream dress. Finally, my mom found this beautiful dress (totally me) by Mori Lee on the window display and brought to my attention. I tried the dress on, and it was perfect! It was my dress! The majority of the time I was at the store with my mother, we were left unattended and they showed little interest in getting to know us. Maybe for the fact they judged us by our looks, since we are foreigners from Brazil, they maybe thought we werent going to buy anything. Thats how it seemed to us, by the lack of assistance we got. When we finally got the dress and paid in FULL right away, they got way nicer to us. (Go figure)After a few weeks, I had to go in for the fittings, and I was put in a dressing room with my dress. I stepped out of the dressing room for 3 min to check on the bigger mirror, and Luckily my dress fit perfectly and no alteration was needed. When I returned to the dressing room, they had put another bride on the dressing room I was in, with my personal belongings still there! I was so upset and told the associated there, and she never apologized. I was told to wait because they were busy. I found it rude and unprofessional. If I hadnt already paid for the dress, I wouldve never purchased a dress there. It seemed to me that after they got your money, they didnt care about you anymore. Its so unprofessional. I ended up buying the rest of my bridal acessories in another bridal shop in Pensacola (The bridal Loft).I later found out that the associate that was helping me was the owner of the shop. I was even more disappointed. She should be an example to the employees and appreciate the business she gets.The only reason I am giving this review a 3 star is for the fact that I loved my dress.

My husband and I walked into this establishment and behind us were two women. As we walked in they acknowledged the two caucasian women but never said anything to my husband and I, being that we walked in before the two woman... I waited to see if they would say anything to us but they never did so we left... I would hate to think it was because we were (African Americans) but I will never step foot in this place again...

So I came to Simply Elegant in hopes to find my wedding dress at FWB location. This was roughly last summer. The manager and sales person were so sweet to me. I can tell the sales person was fairly new. Well unfortunetly I was not put in my dream dress. I liked the dress but wasnt in love. So as I proceeded to tell them I wouldnt be making a deposit their whole attitude change. They immediately started taking the dresses back, very short worded and didnt even tell me bye. I know they probably work on commission and how that mightve been frustrating for them without my sale. However, the attitude was uncalled for. I will never step foot in there again. It was my first time wedding dress shopping and it was the worst experience Ive ever had. It saddens me that these two women were so caught up in pressure for a sale rather than REALLY helping a bride-to-be. Makes me question.... Why are they even a bridal sales consultant?

AMAZING experience! I was treated respectfully and felt special from the moment I walked in (with no appt.) Theres no pretentious feeling in that store, only beautiful dresses, cozy atmosphere and happy people ready to help you find the perfect dress! Any budget & style is available. I found my perfect 2-piece, beachy, flowy, beaded halter dress within 1 hour of walking in. Im so so happy!

UPDATE: Ive changed my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars. Where my original bridal appointment with Kristen was wonderful, what followed was anything but. When my wedding dress arrived, I went to try it on at Simply Elegant and it was too small. So small, that it couldnt even be zipped up. Isnt the rule of ordering dresses that you should order it a size too big because taking something in is easier than taking it out? You would think a bridal store would know better, but Simply Elegant clearly does not. After learning that they ordered a size too small, the part-owner tried to convince me that the dress would stretch with my body heat. (And no, I did not gain any weight since my fitting when the dress was initially ordered). After standing it in for about 20 minutes they were (painfully) able to zip it up. I could barely breath and sitting down was almost impossible and extremely uncomfortable. There was no way I could dance or even eat in that dress. And yet, they STILL tried to convince me that the dress was the right size--hah! I didnt know what to think, but I thought I could trust their opinion as they are supposed to be the experts, right? So, I thought about it for a week (more like worried about it) and finally my friend convinced me to ask them to order me another dress in the CORRECT size this time. When I called and asked the part-owner, he said there wasnt enough time to order another one and that I could take my dress to one of their seamstresses to have HER fix it. So they pawned THEIR mistake off on their poor seamstress! I was appalled. That is so much pressure to put on one person who shouldnt have to fix somebody elses mess. On top of that, I was having to dish out even MORE money to get my dress to the size it should have been when I first ordered it. I took my dress to their seamstress, Chong, and she was shocked that they would order it so small for my body size. She wasnt confident that she could take it out as much as she needed to, but did her best. I waited five LONG weeks, praying that my dress would fit me when she was done. Because if she couldnt fix it, then I was out one wedding dress and a LOT of money. Thankfully, Chong is exceptional at what she does and was able to take the dress out to make it my size. However, no bride should EVER have to experience what I did.I had an unforgettable experience shopping for my wedding dress thanks to Kristen. She. Is. Phenomenal. She really listened and paid attention to my likes and dislikes in all of the dresses I tried on, and she was ultimately the one who found THE dress for me! And on my very first bridal appointment! Without her skill and true care for her brides, I probably would not have found my dream dress. She is very patient and has a wonderful attitude. She made the whole experience so fun and was there to help me find the perfect dress for me--she had her work cut out for her! I give all the credit to her. So when you book a wedding dress appointment, be sure to ask for Kristen!

I was so excited when I discovered they had my dream Maggie Sottero gown. I was measured, and chose to order a size larger because I did not want to worry about squeezing into it. I also ordered extra length because I am tall.It went downhill from there. (See below for how they measured incorrectly, failed to return phone calls, and failed to help me resolve THEIR mistakes, even though I had paid in full. Or Ill save you time and tell you to go somewhere else that doesnt have poor customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Clearly, all they want is to make a sale, but after they receive payment in full, the lovely customer experience screeches to a halt.)Now, onto the tale of how Simply Elegant became a Simply Terrible Experience....My first issue was the fact that I had to call and ask if my gown had arrived. It had...and had been there at least a week. (The same thing later happened with my veil-- they didnt let me know it was in, and I had to call and ask.) When I went to try it on, it would not fit over my hips-- and I had lost 7lbs since my measurements were taken and had even ordered the larger size!Bob, the owner of Simply Elegant, told me not to worry, that any alterations shop can fix it. What that didnt solve was the fact that it was also too short! They had not ordered the extra length per my request! Bob assured me it would be fine after alterations-- but since they do not do alterations on site, I had to take it with me back to Texas and find someone there to do it.The first alterations lady said I may need to order extra material, as it would not stretch anymore, and to contact Simply Elegant to help with doing this. I called and spoke with Bob, who said he would get in touch with Maggie Sottero and call me back.He didnt. I waited a full week before calling back, and was told that he had, in fact, called, but Maggie Sottero couldnt get material made in time for my wedding. I asked what they (Simply Elegant) could do to help me, since I had a dress that didnt fit and was too short. Their suggestion? That I-- their customer who had paid in full for a dress, veil, and jewelry-- go find material for my WEDDING DRESS on ETSY. (Seriously?!)My mom and I got in touch with Maggie Sottero, and have since worked out the issue directly with them, with absolutely NO help from Simply Elegant. Its still a tad too short, but its the best that could be done.Another thing that bothered me was how eager Bob was for my fiance and I to transfer our Sandals booking over to him, as he (Bob) is also a Sandals agent of sorts. He did not hesitate to send me the email and follow up about that time and time again, but when I actually needed his help in fixing my dress, he couldnt even give me the respect as a paid customer to return my phone call. (In case you were worried, we DID NOT give him any credit or transfer anything to him, thank goodness!)I cant stress this enough-- this is not how anyone, especially a paid customer ordering the most important dress shell ever wear, wants to be treated.

I have been a customer of SImply Elegant several times over the years. From bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos to the formal wear for my own recent wedding. Deb and Emily have and always were WONDERFUL. They were always helpful no matter how many times I called with changes and questions we had several out of town bridal party members and they were amazing with getting sizes shipping dresses out of state for us. Each time I and one of my bridal party came in they were very attentive even when I thought I wanted to change my gown AFTER ordering one they were willing to work with me. I did keep my original gown in the end. They have fantastic staff that does alterations and my bridesmaids were a bit fussy with their gowns they were patient and made sure each gown and bridesmaid was completely satisfied with their gowns and that they fit perfectly on my big day!!!! Deb even let me borrow one of her flowers bouqets to use for my bridal pictures, they steamed my dress to perfection, I highly reccomend Deb and her crew at SImply Elegant they are awesome.

It was such a wonderful experience !!!! They were so helpful and accommodating !!! I will be recommending this bridal shop to anyone I know that will be brides to be!!!
