I love this store..I can find everything I need for just about any project I am working on. I also buy my guns from the store off US24 West. The staff at the gun counter is so knowledgeable and very informative always willing to discuss the features of each gun and always have a smile on there face. John is always the one I seem to deal with when Im there and this guy is the man.. Extremely knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to answer any of my questions or concerns.

Nice place to shop. The people there were very friendly and helpful. We even got a swing set for my daughter with the Black Friday now sale at a very good price.

I only have the small TSC stores near my home town. Just happened to have a flat trailer tire just up the highway and they had an entire pallet of the 15 with 5 lug rims. I wish I had more time to shop.

Ok selection. Dont buy stuff on the bottom shelf, Ive seen numerous dogs pee in here. Do not buy any discounted tools. Bought some cutter and only the tips touch and will not cut a ziptie, completely useless tool.

Josh in the firearms department got me hooked up with the Sig and helped answer all of my questions along the way. I went in for 9mm ammo and came out with a new 9mm handgun. Thanks Josh for all your help. We even managed to find my wife some new Muck boots for the farm and myself a new Berne winter coat. Rural King helped make our Valentines Day a little sweeter.

Went with my husband to purchase a gun and there was an employee who drove us up the wall. He was nice enough but he was just all over the place and sooo slow. We were understanding that we had to fill out paper work and have our IDs run, but this guy couldnt multitask to save his life. He kept stopping to try to have a conversation with everyone around, cracking jokes for every little thing, which all stopped him from just finishing our process. We were there for over an hour and a half because he kept messing up the paperwork, couldnt figure out the printer, made a mistake that had to be corrected, or typed slowly with one single finger. Like we get it, hes trying to be personable or whatever but this only works if you can accompany it with work. The other guy behind the desk was barely conscious and couldnt tell you the first thing about gun recommendations. Both guys were weird and a bit off putting but whatever. In the end the prices were good and they were nice enough so.

Everything I need under one roof. It can be a tad messy at times. But with the great prices, I’ll deal with the mess!

I will not return. The rabbits were on wire floors with water bottles to drink from and no hay. They are also put with other rabbits, I would be shocked if customers didnt occasionally bring home a pregnant female. Get them out of the wire, give them hay and not just pellets, and give them water bowls to drink from. If you cant afford to humanly cage them to sell, you shouldnt be selling. People considering a pet bunny: adopt from animal care and control instead where the bunny is spayed or neutered for you already!

A lot of product in the isles blocking things. It is hard to get enough people to work so I understand. Larger selection of items.

Never been into a Rural King until now. We will definitely be going back. You get great deals on all animal food and since we kinda have a small zoo it saves us money to shop here. Hard to believe we’ve never been here till now but now it will be the only place we get our animals food from. The parking lot could use a little tlc though.

Has a lot of stuff! Good prices. Nice gun selection. We buy our baby chickens from Rural King.

Large store, many items on the shelves, helpful employees.Clutter in almost every isle, tight spaces to maneuver a dolly cart,good check out, bad lighting.Just didnt feel comfortable shopping in this store. Seem to me that its being mismanaged. This store has good potential if new management was tried and customers ease of access was made a priority. Id shop again at this store just for the variety of items it offers.

Lots of staff standing around not doing much. Kind of unorganized. But still a cool stare.

I was able to find a mad axe a great tool for landscaping all the other hardware stores I visited only had pick axes or didnt know what I was talking about at all, its hard to find someone thats knowledgeable about different types of tools. I didnt have that problem with Rural King

I love this place! The animals are so awesome! This rabbit decided to sit on his friend! Haha love it! They have all kinds of farm supplies, tools, animal food, firearms/ammo, and so much more. Definitely recommend going here and checking it out. You never know what youll find!

Always a clean Rural King.. the employees are friendly and helpful. The animals are also happy, healthy, and well taken care of. They have everything you need for your animals, as well! (Guinea Pig Supplies, Dog Food, Dog Toys, etc.)The only complaint I would have is their plants are wilted and dry most of the time, even when they have a large selection..Aside from that, I would rate this Rural King a Must Visit.

The staff has always been friendly, and Ive been able to buy some tools and home supplies here for a good price. Unfortunately, Rural King has apparently outgrown this building. You dont see it when you first walk in, but nearly every aisle has pallets of products in them and at the end, so walking around them is difficult, and pushing a cart is out of the question. I went to buy a saw and some loppers, and I had a hard time squeezing my way back to where they are.

Very interesting store. Like Menards and Tractor Supply had a baby. A big one. Prices were pretty good. No problems with service.

Used the website to order a lawnmower for store pickup! Ad showed product in stock at the store ! I ordered the mower and paid online. Found out later that the product was sold out ! Customer service told me it wasn’t there fault they had no control over the ad in the internet . When I asked for the manager they did there investigation and told me the ad was correct they did have a lawnmower in stock but it was broken and being repaired, so they were not giving out false information... however the ad continues to be up showing product availability and is taking customers money ....... (about the most unprofessional customer service experience I’ve ever had)

Looks are deceiving. Outside of the the store looks nice. Inside the store is trashed. Product sitting around. Floors in disrepair. Poor lighting. And disgusting bathrooms.

We went in for dog food. We have a great dane. Price at register didnt match what sign above dog food stated. Same thing when we purchased a dog toy that was on sale. Pretty much a normal farm store.

Service used to be better now its hard to get help and probably the slowest checkouts of any retail store Ive ever been to.

I like this place but there is never enough help. The workers they do have are friendly, courteous and helpful, but no matter when I go, the lines to check out are looooooong.

It was great we found what we needed and more. I found really nice T-shirts for 5.99 a piece. There cute and I bought 1 that was funny. Wear them for everyday.

If your ok with long check out lines, this is a great place for farm/home needs. 3 stars because lines are always long because they never have more than one or 2 lanes open. Plenty of other employees aimlessly walking about the floor but apparently none of them know how to run a register.

Nice place to occasionally visit for variety, but I sadly will not be going as often anymore because they remain out of stock on Equine Fresh kiln dried pine pellet bedding.

Ok, should have your outdoor plants marked way down and show a price.Dozen of pumpkins and squash outside in rotted state, yuck! Didnt have a heat gun either😬

We dont shop at Rural King often. This location is far from our home. This location has the best price on jeans for my husband. $10 per pair! Today many shelves in the store were not fully stocked. And it made me sad to see the rabbits in wire cages with wire under their feet. Its cruel.

I always enjoy going here and seeing what they have in comparison to other stores.

Store was a mess, shoes, clothes all over the place. Selection was lacking, difficult to locate things. Doubt I will be back--will shop at the store in Muncie where there is a great variety, store neat and clean, and employees were friendly and helpful.

Were out of lot of bird seed. Revived help from staff.Had ussue with 3 older females who should know better... harassed me and making rude comments and acting childish for no reason. Minding my own business looking at item on Shelf as they came around corner. Made childish comments as if I did something rude and affenaffective.. They they giggled!! They looked late 40s to mid 50s!

Hats off to employees. My dog had an accident, an employee was very helpful with clean up. Thanks.

My go to when the ag store 5 miles away does not have what I am looking for (this store is 15 miles away. Have always received good customer service when I needed it.

Okay but not happy that no one in this store was wearing masks except me and my sister. Not happy about that and didnt seem like anyone knew what they were doing.

My rating is based on cashiers. There is one that if I see her, I just walk out. There was a younger cashier, needed help as my barcode was not scanning, she yelled at him and me. A BAD BARCODE IS NOT MY FAULT! Every time I go, either the line is 20 people deep with one cashier or when there are actually 2, I always get the one with an attitude problem. If they can get some front staff that can be polite, I would say this is an average rural king with no hesitation.

Rural King is one of my first calls I make when trying to find things. They usually have it for less as well!!!

Staff is always wonderful and happy to assist customers. The first of March is tentatively when the baby chicks, ducks and sometimes turkeys arrive! Thats why this date is always a welcoming one!

I have a 12 week old puppy & Ive decided to get his supplies there.Very clean store. And the prices are VERY affordable. This is my go to place for all my farm and animal needs....just shopped for landscaping plants and perennials and found nice sized shrubs at a good price and 5 quart size perennials at 7.99...same size at a landscaping business was 12.99 cash n carry.

I made a purchase of chics. I had two die and I called the store. The employee was very unprofessional and rude and unaware of the store policy. I called back and spoke to the manager who was very argumentative and rude. I called Kendalville who was very polite and apologetic for that store. I was unaware if you get something on sale such as chickens you have to make sure the cashier rings them up correctly and not full price BEFORE you leave the store. So stand in line and check your receipt or they dont believe you even with a receipt. After speaking to the manager I could NEVER return and that would be just fine. I was so surprised as this USED to be my go to for all my farming needs and I spend a lot of time and money there.

The first time here. A big box store, maybe.I could not find a clerk to help me. I kept on looking. Finally found a helper, and he tried to help me. He searched for my needs and could not . He apologized and went on his way.. My bother was with me and he did find what I was looking for, however we would need the clerk again, found another one, and took care of our need.I think the jist of my report, more personal might have made it a better shopping experience.They really seem to have a bit of everything, for farm and home.I would go back.

I made my first visit to Rural King. The store was bulging with stocked items and clean as a warehouse should be. There were less shoppers than I expected and the store associates were eager to help my friend and I shop.There was a huge variety of items in the garden area and I found all I needed, so I began to browse. Looking through the foodstuffs, I spied some SPICED peaches - havent had any in years! Bought two large jars and after trying them back home... Well, my taste buds are pleading for more!Ill be headed back to Rural King to restock those golden globes of summery goodness, and take the time to wander this place on a hunt for other hidden delights. Barely scratched the surface of this huge store, so Im hopeful!

They certainly don’t care for the rabbits properly. Rabbits need full access to hay and salt licks are bad. They dehydrate them. They often have very dirty cages too and no food at all. If you ask them to give them hay they wont. Instead of salt licks the hay cubes are better as they are good for them. How do you think eating a block of salt tastes?

They lack help.. It was hard to find so eone to answer questions..

Went into this store on Saturday, I was so disappointed!! The store was so dark, you could hardly get down the aisles stuff was everywhere. The store was an absolute mess!! Prices where hard to find and then when I wanted to find an associate to help no one was around... I walked the whole store and couldnt find help.. I went to check out with three lanes opened and waited 10 mins just to check out .. This store needs management!!!
