Just left there... very helpful people who know their stuff!! Not just fabric... sewing machine parts, thread, ribbon, patterns, embroidery cds, batting, stabilizers, pins, needles, anything you need to sew your best work! They also repair sewing machines and sergers and have classes! Worth the drive to north side of Fort Wayne.

Jill was very thorough in helping me pick out the right sewing machine for me. Can’t wait to get it home and set up.

We brought my moms sewing machine in for some work, I ordered a longer table for my Janome, and I perused (and bought, of course) some gorgeous fabrics! We met a few employees and a classroom of ladies taking a machine embroidery class. Absolutely every person was friendly and welcoming. The fiber crafting community is fortunate to have this place. It rocks!

According to everyone I spoke to, this was the #1 place in fort Wayne to get your sewing machine fixed. Very good reputation. Beautiful quilt shop. Amazing selection of fabrics, and it reasonable prices. High quality mechines, I hope to try their classes because Ive heard nothing but good things about them, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Specifically asked if the part I wished to order was a genuine Bernina Walking Foot and was assured that it was. Asked again, as the price was so good for a genuine Bernina part. After driving nearly an hour to pick up the prepaid part, it was in fact an Alphasew brand foot which is available online for much less than the $99.00 I paid at Edwards. Doing my best to shop small did not pay off today!

They worked on my sewing after I had taken it to another person to fix it . That person said Im not working on it again find one at a garage sale. Edwards did work on it and it works great! My experience was wonderful..first of all they serviced my older model Kenmore last year prior to me moving to NC. But this year the switch went out. I called Jill told her I would be in FTW late August. She inform the staff got my machine in and out in a few days. Once I made it back home tried it out and it has been working amazing. Will always us Edward Sewing Center. Thank you you Jill/Staff.

Change in location a positive move.

It was great as always. Ive been sparodically going there since the current owners father and father in-law owned it. Since theyve moved to their current location Ive bought an accuquilt, janome 200 and recently a mc500e. I traded up from my mc200e. Today I picked the enchanted Santa wall hanging I was there within 30 minutes of Niece calling me to tell me it was in. I have the broom Hilda wall hanging on order and my husband has a small hoop for face masks on order. Ive bought many machines over the years (mostly used because I needed a repair and chose not to wait also bought a used one for my daughters Christmas present before she got married)from them when they were at the end of my street. I spend a lot more time there now since Ive been making masks and discovered machine embroidery isnt to be feared. Ive also bought a lot of mask fabric there. The ladies and gentlemen (who do the service Lisas husband and son) who work there are very personable and willing to help but not push.

This is such an amazing shop to buy all your supplies. From machines to every notion you can think of these guys have it!! They are extraordinarily knowledgeable and want to talk to you about anything you might be thinking. If you have a project and need some help or supplies these women are who you want to see!

Great sewing machine repair. Repair reasonable and within a few days. They have fabric too but pricey and fun projects and sewing lessons.

Edwards Sewing Center is a great place to get sewing machines, sergers, and embroidery machines (both new as well as used). They have a great selection of quality quilting cotton material as well as sewing thread! They are located on Rothman Road just west of Maplecrest Road. They also do repair and cleaning on all the above mentioned machines!

I was very pleased with the service I received. I took my machine in to have it cleaned and serviced as I had broken a needle in it. I was helped promptly and my machine was ready to pick up in less time than I was told. It was immaculate and hums along quieter than it has for years!!!

Customer service is AMAZING!! First, Edwards did a wonderful job fixing my machine. They even called after the drop-off with the price of repair to get my ok before proceeding. Most recently, I needed a zipper foot for my vintage machine. Jill called around to find what I needed, and kept in contact with me until we got it figured out. I highly recommend Edwards Sewing Center!

Staff was RUDE!! Tried telling me the part that I watched break wasnt broke I just needed a cleaning.. since obviously it has never been done which is not true, it hasnt even been 6 months since the last cleaning and service.. refused to even have it looked at until I let them do a $90 cleaning.. RUDE RUDE RUDE...

I stopped by here when I was looking for a sewing machine, I talked to one of the ladies that worked there and she was super nice. I had a lot of questions as I’ve never bought a sewing machine before and wasn’t sure exactly what kind I needed, and I was also on a budget, so she pointed me to a few that fit my needs, for kind of pushy in the “sales” aspect but I get that. In the end she ended up giving me great advice and I showed her one I’d been looking at and she recommended it! Great visit although I didn’t purchase anything when I was there.

Good sewing center

I was not welcomed, was watched & could not figure who worked there. I walked around for awhile before a worker finally approached me.

If you are looking for some special or hard to find fabric this is the place. Great at answering questions and helping find solutions to your sewing needs. It is small but packed with a great deal of fabrics,notions etc.

If you see at all, this is the place to come get al your sewing supplies to include top notch Genome sewing machines. And if you dont know how to use or get stuck they will help you with that. There are always quilting and sewing going on I the back. Their new location NE gives them more space for classes and their beautiful materials.

Ive been going to Edwards Sewing Center for over 15 years and have never received anything besides excellent service! They give free lessons when you buy a new machine from them which was extremely valuable to me and made me a lifetime quilter!! I have never been disappointed when I walk through their doors! I wont go anywhere else!

I was having some trouble with my reverse on my Kenmore sewing machine. The tech guy gave me a suggestion for fixing it that completely took care of the problem.
