This is an awesome place for kids and adults alike. So much variety for every confection you can imagine. Great staff and awesome classes for all ages.

Ah! I love this store. If you like baking, this store is a must for you! I went in on a recon mission to see what things I might want to buy for making a baby shower cake. I didnt intend on purchase anything but the prices were pretty reasonable and they had a large selection on everything; so I bought all of the items I needed that day.The gal at the register was really friendly; so was one of the other employees that was stocking some items.Another note on their selection of items; they have a wide variety of items. For example: They have every size and shape of cake pans. They also have different levels as far as pricing goes. Theres a whole wall of candy molds on the back wall. An aisle with miscellaneous cardboard cake bases and boxes. There are varying sizes of fondant and buttercream. Theres also a wall of cookie cutters. Everything you need to make pies, cakes, candy and more!

So thankful for this place. They had the stuff I needed when other places didnt. Everyone is kind and helpful. Its just fun being in this store and getting inspired. Cant wait to check out one of their classes they offer.

The women in the Country Kitchen Sweetart were so helpful to me today when I was searching for something. They told me things that I was unaware of which will be of great benefit to me in the weeks to come. They were all friendly and helpful to help me come up with a solution to an issue I had when looking for a product. They also suggested their online ordering help for me since I am only visiting in the area. I will be comfortable place a phone order in the future.

I took my niece to the kids candy making class this past weekend. She enjoyed learning new techniques and making cute treats to share with her friends/family. Lindsay did a great job teaching the class. She took time explaining and demonstrating each step, and made sure to ask the students if they had any questions before she continued the section. I have a candymaking store 20 minutes from my house and buy everything I need from Country Kitchen Sweetart in another state because the chocolate is always fresh. They have an amazing inventory of supplies and their customer service is incredible. Any question is answered quickly and theyre always there to help.Shipping is very fast too. Awesome, awesome place! Just did the kids decorating class with my 4-year old son, and it couldnt have been a better experience, and a great deal for the price. Thought we were going in to frost a cupcake, but it was so much more! Well definitely be back.

They always have whatever confectionery or baking item Im looking for. I like the smaller tubs of colored frosting. Very handy. Its a dangerous place for my credit card as I always find more to buy than I was planning to.

My daughters take cookie and candy decorating classes there. They always have a great time. My youngest is 3 and has done the classes so your little ones would be welcome to attend. You have to call in advance to reserve a spot.

Ordered a unicorn cake kit on their website a few weeks ago. Apparently the order is canceled but I received no email or heads up about it and received no order confirmation email. Only proof of purchase I had was the charge on my account. I am sure this is not a bad company but my daughters birthday is right around the corner so now I have to find the kit from a different company and pay extra for shipping so it will get here on time. Thank goodness I was paying attention or I would still be waiting for it to show up.

This store is Heaven for a sugar artist!!! It does not matter what medium you do: Cake Decorating, Candy Making or Chocolate Work this store has it all! What amazed me the most about the store is how organized everything was!I spent the majority of my 90 minute Excursion going through the chocolate molds. This task was made easier due to the fact that they have a color version of what the chocolate will look like once it has come out of the mold and each piece is numbered so that you can quickly find the mold. The sales team was very friendly and checked on me occasionally without being pushy (as you might find in some stores). I also found the prices to be comparably lower then other cake stores in my area (Did I mention that I live 2 1/2 hours away in Ohio) and they have some wonderful discounts...The only Negative that I found with the store is that I should not be allowed to shop there when I have my credit-card...😀 LolAll kidding aside I have found a new cake decorating shop and recommend it highly for anyone. Whether youre a beginner or an expert or anywhere in between this is the store for you!

I asked them for a cooking item not really found here. Cooking rings for stove top and oven baking for specifically Japanese pancakes/souffle .. yhey found an item perfect for the task after looked all over. I shop local when i can.. definitely will be back. Better than online guessing.

Years ago I enjoyed this store, though the prices are getting saltier (yikes!). If I could give five stars for great memories of CK, Id do it in a heartbeat!I wish to share a caveat with others about knowledgeable staff. Perhaps CK has new hires for the holidays, but I asked my sister to see if they carried pineapple flavoring for plain gelatin. I wanted to make sugar-free pineapple gelatin which is not available at my local grocers.Country Kitchen is now 70 miles from my home, so returns and refunds are not easily obtained.Sister was encouraged by a staffer to purchase a tiny bottle of Lorann flavoring for candy-making. No printed instructions, even though Sister let the clerk know she did not know how to use it for gelatin. She was told to use it much like any flavoring.I used to be the candy maker of the family, and had misgivings when she handed it to me. If those wee concentrates could be used for gelatin, wouldnt Lorann have advertised it long ago?But having no other recourse, using nothing but plain gelatin, prepared according to directions for a 2-cup batch, artificial sweetener, and a bit of citric acid, I tried. It was awful; tasting of chemicals. Some of the Lorann ingredients were propylene glycol and alcohol, which in candy-making is driven off by the heat of boiled sugar, leaving just the flavor.I tried boiling the mixture, which did not improve the taste. It was ruined, and the cost lost because neither of us will be in Fort Wayne for months to come.IF Lorann flavors CAN be used for gelatin, the clerk should have provided Sister with instructions. Under no circumstances should clerks push products this way. Country Kitchen is a place that not only sells products, but provides clear instructions for neophytes.Im very glad It was just one bottle, and not a larger quantity. Please take this as a warning that it may be prudent NOT to purchase something on faith that the clerk knows her/his products. Ask for a recipe or to be pointed toward one of their many information books.Country Kitchen has excellent products, and for many years we bought from them. Clerks were very conscientious about being sure their customers had stellar results due to caring about the information they imparted. If any such old-timers still exist, ask for one! And always make sure they get you a recipe!

There is no logical organization to the merchandise in the store. Similar items that should be grouped are located throughout the store. I was confused immediately upon entering the store and didnt figure things out. The options for candy molds is extremely limited and hard to locate. There was nothing to use for anything related to a patriotic theme. I bought $20 worth of supplies--flavoring and food color--which I realized when I got to my car and checked the recipe that I had gotten the wrong supplies. I walked into the store within five minutes of leaving and was told the supplies could not be returned because the store refuses to take back food. The bottles hadnt been taken out of the bag I was given. The lids were tightly secured and the seals remained in place. I feel I was cheated by such a asinine rule. This order was only $20, but that is all the money I will spend here. There are other outlets that sell what I need, and the Internet is a backup. Country Kitchen SweetArt is off my list. I need a store that is better than this.
